| 1 | Aftershock sequence relocation of the 2021 M_(S)7.4 Maduo Earthquake, Qinghai, China显示文摘The 2021 Qinghai Maduo M_(S)7.4 earthquake was one of the strongest earthquakes that occurred in the Bayan Har block of the Tibetan Plateau during the past 30 years,which spatially filled in the gap of strong earthquake in the eastern section of the northern block boundary.In this study,the aftershock sequence within 8 days after the mainshock was relocated by double difference algorithm.The results show that the total length of the aftershock zone is approximately 170 km;the mainshock epicenter is located in the center of the aftershock zone,indicating a bilateral rupture.The aftershocks are mainly distributed along NWW direction with an overall strike of 285°.The focal depth profiles indicate that the seismogenic fault is nearly vertical and dips to southwest or northeast in different sections,indicating a complex geometry.There is an aftershock gap located to the southeast of the mainshock epicenter with a scale of approximately 20 km.At the eastern end of the aftershock zone,horsetaillike branch faults show the terminal effect of a large strike-slip fault.There is a NW-trending aftershock zone on the north side of the western section,which may be a branch fault triggered by the mainshock.The location of the aftershock sequence is close to the eastern section of the Kunlun Mountain Pass-Jiangcuo(KMPJ)fault.The sequence overlaps well with surface trace of the KMPJ fault.We speculate that the KMPJ fault is the main seismogenic fault of the M_(S)7.4 Maduo earthquake. | Weilai WANG Lihua FANG Jianping WU Hongwei TU Liyi CHEN Guijuan LAI Long ZHANG | 2021 | Science China Earth Sciences2021,64,8: | 11 |

| 6 | External use of Ruyanneixiao cream efficiently blocks precancerous mammary lesions by interfering with glycolysis induced by inhibition of hypoxia inducible factor-1α, hexokinase 2, phosphofructokinase, and pyruvate kinase M2 expression显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effect of Ruyanneixiao cream(RYNX) on the expression of hypoxia inducible factor-1α(HIF-1α), hexokinase 2(HK2),phosphofructokinase(PFK), and pyruvate kinase M2(PKM2) mRNA and protein in MCF-10 AT cells and in an animal model of precancerous mammary lesions.METHODS:Following treatment of MCF-10 AT cells with RYNX, tamoxifen(TAM) and YC-1 for 48 h,HIF-1α, HK2, PFK, PKM2 mRNA and protein expression was analyzed.Fifty female SD rats were randomly divided into control, model, TAM, and highand low-dose RYNX groups, with 10 rats in each group.A precancerous mammary lesion model was established for all groups except the control group.High-and low-dose RYNX cream containing TAM was coated on the breasts of animals in the corresponding groups.The rat mammary tissue was removed in the 10 th week and HIF-1α, HK2, PFK,PKM2 mRNA and protein was analyzed.RESULTS:In vitro analyses demonstrated that, compared with the matrix group, HIF-1α, HK2, PFK,PKM2 mRNA and protein expression was significantly decreased in the RYNX group(P < 0.05).Compared with the YC-1 + RYNX group, HK2, PFK,and PKM2 protein expression was significantly reduced in the RYNX group.HIF-1α, HK2, PFK, and PKM2 protein expression was increased significantly in the model group(P < 0.05) compared with the control group, while HIF-1α, HK2, PFK, and PKM2 mRNA and protein expression was significantly decreased in both the high-and low-dose RYNX groups(P < 0.05), with the effect being greater in the high-dose group.CONCLUSION:RYNX can block precancerous breast lesions by decreasing the expression of HK2,PFK, and PKM2 mRNA and protein via inhibition of HIF-1α mRNA and protein overexpression in a dose-dependent manner. | Li Xiaobo Ma Min Zhang Guijuan Ma Yi Liao Rui Chen Ruixue Yan Xianxin Bie Fengjie Huang Maojie Liang Shijie | 2017 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2017,37,2: | 5 |
| 7 | YIELD SURFACES AND PLASTIC FLOW OF 45 STEEL UNDER TENSION-TORSION LOADING PATHS显示文摘An experimental analysis on the subsequent yield-surfaces evolution using multiple specimens is presented for a 45 steel after a prescribed pre-strain loading in three different directions respectively, and the yielding is defined by a designated offsetting strain. The size of the subsequent yield surface is found smaller than the initial yield surface; the negative cross effects are observed in the normal loading direction, its shape is not a Mises circle but has a rather blunt nose in loading direction and flat in the opposite. These results strongly depend on the loading path and the prescribed offset plastic strain. The plastic flow direction to the subsequent yield surface is investigated, and it is found that the plastic flow direction deviates from the normal flow rule. The deviation differs from preloading case to preloading case. And the plastic flow direction would have a larger deviation from the normal of the yield surface, if the subsequent yield was defined by a smaller offset strain. | 8 | HCCDB: A Database of Hepatocellular Carcinoma Expression Atlas显示文摘Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) is highly heterogeneous in nature and has been one of the most common cancer types worldwide. To ensure repeatability of identified gene expression patterns and comprehensively annotate the transcriptomes of HCC, we carefully curated 15 public HCC expression datasets that cover around 4000 clinical samples and developed the database HCCDB to serve as a one-stop online resource for exploring HCC gene expression with userfriendly interfaces. The global differential gene expression landscape of HCC was established by analyzing the consistently differentially expressed genes across multiple datasets. Moreover, a 4 D metric was proposed to fully characterize the expression pattern of each gene by integrating data from The Cancer Genome Atlas(TCGA) and Genotype-Tissue Expression(GTEx). To facilitate a comprehensive understanding of gene expression patterns in HCC, HCCDB also provides links to third-party databases on drug, proteomics, and literatures, and graphically displays the resultsfrom computational analyses, including differential expression analysis, tissue-specific and tumorspecific expression analysis, survival analysis, and co-expression analysis. | 11 | Systemic Vasculitis:An Important and Underestimated Cause of Malignant Hypertension显示文摘Objectives:Malignant hypertension(MHT)is defi ned as severe hypertension accompanied by ischemic failure of one or more organs.The aims of this study were to evaluate the current clinical and etiologic profi les of MHT.Methods:As a retrospective study,we selected all patients admitted to our center from January 2013 to December 2016.Seventy patients with MHT were included.Results:The average age of the patients was 40 years,and more than half of the patients were male(78.57%).There were 24 patients with essential hypertension,accounting for 34.29%of the patients,and 46 with secondary hypertension,accounting for 65.71%of the patients.For secondary MHT,systemic vasculitis(25.57%)was the most common cause,followed by severe obstructive sleep apnea syndrome(15.71%),primary renal parenchymal hypertension(11.43%),primary aldosteronism(7.14%),and Cushing syndrome(1.43%)and nutcracker phenomenon(1.43%).Twenty patients with systemic vasculitis were characterized by severe hypertension accompanied by damage to two or more target organs of differing severity.The levels of white blood cells,hypersensitive C-reactive protein,serum creatinine,and 24-hour urinary protein were above their normal range.Conclusion:Systemic vasculitis may be one of the main causes of MHT,and has been underestimated in the past.In future clinical work,clinicians need to pay more attention to patients with systemic vasculitis. | Qing Zhu Shasha Liu Mulalibieke Heizhati Xiaoguang Yao Menghui Wang Qin Luo Lei Wang Delian Zhang Guijuan Chang Nanfang Li | 2019 | Cardiovascular Innovations and Applications2019,,B07: | 2 |

Rhodauricanol A(1) possesses a unique 5/6/5/7 tetracyclic ring system featuring a 16-oxa-tetracyclo[11.2.1.0^(1,5).0^(7,13)]hexadecane core. Dauricanols A-C(2-4) are the first1,3-dioxolane conjugates of grayanane diterpenoids and 5-hydroxymethylfurfural and vanillin, respectively, and dauricanols D(5) and E(6) represent the first examples of 6-deoxy-1,5-seco-grayanane diterpenoids. Their structures were determined by spectroscopic methods, quantum chemical calculation including ^(13)C NMR-DP4+ analysis and ECD calculation, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. Plausible biosynthetic pathways for 1-4 were proposed. | 17 | Research status of earthquake forecasting in hydraulicfracturing induced earthquakes显示文摘In the new types of industrial activities including unconventional energy extraction associated with shale gas and hot dry rock,gas reservoir operations,CO2 geological storage,undergoing research on induced earthquake forecasting has become one of the forward positions of current seismology.As for the intense actual demand,the immature research on induced earthquake forecasting has already been applied in pre-assessment of site safety and seismic hazard and risk management.This work will review systematically recent advances in earthquake forecasting induced by hydraulic fracturing during industrial production from four aspects:earthquake occurrence probability,maximum expected magnitude forecasting,seismic risk analysis for engineering and social applications and key scientific problems.In terms of earthquake occurrence probability,we introduce statistical forecasting models such as an improved ETAS and non-stationary ETAS and physical forecasting models such as Seismogenic Index(SI)and hydro-mechanism nucleation.Research on maximum expected magnitude forecasting has experienced four stages of linear relationship with net injection volume of fluid,power exponential relationship and physical forecasting regarding fault parameters.For seismic risk analysis,we focus on probabilistic seismic hazard assessment and quantitative geological susceptibility model.Furthermore,this review is extended to key scientific problems that contain obtaining accurate fault scale and environmental stress state of reservoir,critical physical process of runaway rupture,complex mechanism of fault activation as well as physical mechanism and modeling of trailing effect.This work in understanding induced earthquake forecasting may contribute to unconventional energy development and production,seismic hazard mitigation,emergency management and scientific research as a reference. | Qian Wang Xinxin Yin Changsheng Jiang Cong Jiang Yan Zhang Hongyu Zhai Yanbao Zhang Guijuan Lai Fengling Yin | 2021 | Earthquake Science2021,34,3: | 1 |

| 19 | Effect of salviae miltiorrhizae and ligustrazine hydrochloride injection on axonal regeneration and nerve growth factor expression in a rat model of sciatic nerve injury显示文摘BACKGROUND: Studies have shown that both salviae miltiorrhizae and ligustrazine can promoteprotein expression of nerve growth factor (NGF) and regeneration of peripheral nerve.OBJECTIVE: To verify the effect of salviae miltiorrhizae and ligustrazine hydrochloride injection onaxonal regeneration and NGF protein expression in a rat model of sciatic nerve injury.DESIGN, TIME AND SETTING: A randomized, controlled, animal experiment was performed at theLaboratory of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Institute of Bioengineering of Jinan Universityfrom July to December 2008.MATERIALS: Salviae miltiorrhizae and ligustrazine hydrochloride injection (containing 20 mgsalviae miltiorrhizae and 100 mg ligustrazine per 100 mL injection) was provided by Guizhou BaitePharmaceutical, China; salviae miltiorrhizae and ligustrazine decoctions (containing 1 g raw drugper 1 mL decoction) were provided by Guangzhou Baiyunshan Factory for Traditional ChineseMedicine, China; rabbit-anti-rat NGF monoclonal antibody was provided by Beijing BiosynthesisBiotechnology, China.METHODS: A total of 80 healthy, male, Sprague Dawley rats were used to establish a sciatic nerveinjury model via neurotomy, and were then randomly assigned to 4 groups: salviae miltiorrhizae andligustrazine hydrochloride injection group (intraperitoneal injection of 35 mL/kg per day salviaemiltiorrhizae and ligustrazine hydrochloride injection), salviae miltiorrhizae group (intragastricperfusion of 2 mL salviae miltiorrhizae), ligustrazine group (intragastric perfusion of 2 mLligustrazine), and model group (intraperitoneal injection of 35 mL/kg per day saline), with 20 rats ineach group. Thereafter, rats in each group were then divided into 4 subgroups according to varyingtime points of 1,2, 4, and 8 weeks post-surgery, with 5 rats in each subgroup.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Axons were quantified using chromotrope 2R-brilliant green andsilver staining combined with image analysis to calculate the axonal regeneration rate; NGFexpression was detected using immunohistochemistry and Western blot analysis; toe interspacewas measured by behavior at 4 and 8 weeks.RESULTS: With increasing time after sciatic nerve injury, the axonal regeneration rate, NGF proteinexpression, and toe interspace gradually increased. At 4 and 8 weeks post-surgery, axonalregeneration rate and NGF protein expression were significantly increased in the injured tissue ofthe salviae miltiorrhizae and ligustrazine hydrochloride injection, salviae miltiorrhizae, andligustrazine groups, compared with the model group (P < 0.05 or P < 0.01), and toe interspace wasremarkably enlarged (P < 0.05 or P < 0.01), especially in the salviae miltiorrhizae and ligustrazinehydrochloride injection group.CONCLUSION: Salviae miltiorrhizae and ligustrazine hydrochloride injection promoted axonalregeneration and NGF protein expression in the injured sciatic nerve, and also enhancedneurofunctional recovery. | 20 | Discrimination Between Broadband Underwater Target Echo and Reverberation Based on Signal Spectral Flatness Feature显示文摘Reverberation is the major interference of active detection, discrimination between target echo and reverberation is difficult when the reverberation is very strong. For the distinguishing of underwater target echo with strong interference, the modulation feature of echo and reverberation spectrum are characterized by signal spectral flatness measure, and the relationship between signal spectral flatness and target physical properties are theoretically formed. A method of discrimination between broadband underwater target echo and reverberation that based on signal spectral flatness characteristics difference is proposed and studied. Sea experiment results of complex underwater target broadband acoustic scattering have shown that signal spectral flatness characteristics of underwater target broadband echo and reverberation have obvious differences.
