2Controllability of multi-agent systems based on agreement protocols显示文摘This paper investigates the controllability of multi-agent systems based on agreement protocols. First, for a group of single-integrator agents, the controllability is studied in a unified framework for both networks with leader-following structure and networks with undirected graph. Some new necessary/sufficient conditions for the controllability of networks of single-integrator agents are established. Second, we prove that, under the same topology and same prescribed leaders, a network of high-order dynamic agents is completely controllable if and only if so is a network of single-integrator agents. Third, how the selection of leaders and the coupling weights of graphs affect the controllability is analyzed. 5Preventive Control for Power System Transient Security Based on XGBoost and DCOPF with Consideration of Model Interpretability显示文摘This paper proposes a new approach for online power system transient security assessment(TSA)and preventive control based on XGBoost and DC optimal power flow(DCOPF).The novelty of this proposal is that it applies the XGBoost and data selection method based on the 1-norm distance in local feature importance evaluation which can provide a certain model interpretability.The method of SMOTE+ENN is adopted for data rebalancing.The contingency-oriented XGBoost model is trained with databases generated by time domain simulations to represent the transient security constraint in the DCOPF model,which has a relatively fast speed of calculation.The transient security constrained generation rescheduling is implemented with the differential evolution algorithm,which is utilized to optimize the rescheduled generation in the preventive control.Feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed approach are demonstrated on an IEEE 39-bus test system and a 500-bus operational model for South Carolina,USA.Songtao Zhang Dongxia Zhang Ji Qiao Xinying Wang Zhijian Zhang 2021CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2021,7,2:8

8Oxide dispersion strengthened stainless steel 316L with superior strength and ductility by selective laser melting显示文摘Dense oxide dispersion strengthened(ODS) 316 L steels with different amount of Y2O3 additions were succe s s fully fabricated by selective laser melting(SLM) even though part of the added Y2O3 got lost during the process.The microstructure was characterized in details and the mechanical properties were tested at room temperature,250℃ and 400℃,respectively.The effect of the scanning speed on agglomeration of nanoparticles during SLM process was discussed.Superior properties,e.g.,yield strength of 574 MPa and elongation of 91%,were achieved at room temperature in SLM ODS 316 L with additional 1% of Y2 O3.At elevated temperature s,the strength kept high but the elongations dropped dra matically.It was observed that nano-voids nucleated throughout the whole gauge section at the sites where nanoinclusions located.The growth and coalescence of these voids were suppre s sed by the formation of an element segregation network before necking,which relieved local stress concentration and thus delayed necking.This unusual necking behavior was studied and compared to the previous theory.It appeared that the strong convection presented in the melt pool can evenly redistribute the short-time milled coarse Y2O3 precursor powder during SLM process.These findings can not only solve the problems encountered during the fabrication of ODS components but also replenish the strengthening mechanism of SLM 316 L thus pave a way for further improving of mechanical properties.Yuan Zhong Leifeng Liu Ji Zou Xiaodong Li Daqing Cui Zhijian Shen 2020Journal of Materials Science & Technology2020,42,7:5
9Sufficient conditions and limitations of equivalent partition in multiagent controllability显示文摘The emergence of the graphical characterization of multiagent controllability has raised several issues concerning how to directly establish controllability from topology structures. Arguably, one of the most serious challenges to this research field is the means through which equivalent partition, which plays an important role in graphical characterization, obtains sufficient controllability conditions;hence, how equivalent partition influences controllability has garnered considerable attention. This article specifically focuses on the sufficient conditions and limitations of equivalent partition in multiagent controllability. We provide two sufficient conditions:(i) the absence of the system matrix’s eigenvectors that make the equation formed by the eigenvalues and eigenvectors hold and(ii) the addition of leaders by reducing the same number of followers. The first condition particularly exhibits a relation between two apparently unrelated parts: Tao’s equation and controllability. We further propose a necessary and sufficient condition for controllability under n-node graphs(n 5) by taking advantage of iso-neighbor nodes, and analyze the resulting difficulties when n is greater than 5. Immediate corollaries of our results are obtained. Finally, we reveal the limitation of equivalent partition in controllability analysis. 10Graph partitions and the controllability of directed signed networks显示文摘This paper studies the controllability problem of signed networks which is presented by weighted and directed signed graphs. Graph partitions such as structural balance and almost equitable partitions(AEPs) are studied. We generalize the definition of AEPs to any graphs, directed or undirected, signed or unsigned, with or without edge weights. Based on AEP theory, a graph-theoretic necessary condition is proposed for the controllability of directed signed networks and an algorithm is given for the computation of the coarsest partition. 11Minimizing the effect of near-distance dielectric sensitivity on retrieving average aspect ratio of gold nanorod by optical extinction spectroscopy:in the case of CTAB adsorption显示文摘The aspect ratio(AR)is one of the most intriguing parameters of gold nanorods(GNRs),which plays an important role in determining localized surface plasmon(LSPR)properties.Instead of conventional imaging techniques,the optical extinction spectroscopy(OES)method has been developed for allowing fast statistically measuring the average AR under static approximation.In this work,combining with the previous achievements in spectroscopic technique,we further analyze the effects of gold dielectric function and near distance dielectric sensitivity.The former may reflect possible dielectric loss of real Au samples from ideal single crystalline.The latter reflects the cetyltrimethylammonium bromide(CTAB)adsorption on the surface of GNR induces different LSPR shifts below and above critical micelle concentration(CMC).However,their effect on the determination of AR has not been evaluated in OES method.The average AR measurements as a function of absorbance of CTAB-GNRs and LSPR maximum below the CMC were studied.Our results indicate that after considering these factors,the mean ARs obtained from spectroscopic techniques are closer to those obtained from imaging techniques.Zhijian Hu Yinglu Ji Shuai Hou Xiaochun Wu 2014Chinese Science Bulletin2014,59,16:2
12Target alignment in the Shen-Guang Ⅱ Upgrade laser facility显示文摘The Shen-Guang II Upgrade(SG-Ⅱ-U) laser facility consists of eight high-power nanosecond laser beams and one shortpulse picosecond petawatt laser. It is designed for the study of inertial confinement fusion(ICF), especially for conducting fast ignition(FI) research in China and other basic science experiments. To perform FI successfully with hohlraum targets containing a golden cone, the long-pulse beam and cylindrical hohlraum as well as the short-pulse beam and cone target alignment must satisfy tight specifications(30 and 20 μm rms for each case). To explore new ICF ignition targets with six laser entrance holes(LEHs), a rotation sensor was adapted to meet the requirements of a three-dimensional target and correct beam alignment. In this paper, the strategy for aligning the nanosecond beam based on target alignment sensor(TAS) is introduced and improved to meet requirements of the picosecond lasers and the new six LEHs hohlraum targets in the SG-II-U facility. 13The Scorpion Venom Peptide Smp76 Inhibits Viral Infection by Regulating Type-Ⅰ Interferon Response显示文摘Dengue virus(DENV) and Zika virus(ZIKV) have spread throughout many countries in the developing world and infect millions of people every year, causing severe harm to human health and the economy. Unfortunately, there are few effective vaccines and therapies available against these viruses. Therefore, the discovery of new antiviral agents is critical.Herein, a scorpion venom peptide(Smp76) characterized from Scorpio maurus palmatus was successfully expressed and purified in Escherichia coli BL21(DE3). The recombinant Smp76(rSmp76) was found to effectively inhibit DENV and ZIKV infections in a dose-dependent manner in both cultured cell lines and primary mouse macrophages. Interestingly,rSmp76 did not inactivate the viral particles directly but suppressed the established viral infection, similar to the effect of interferon(IFN)-b. Mechanistically, rSmp76 was revealed to upregulate the expression of IFN-b by activating interferon regulatory transcription factor 3(IRF3) phosphorylation, enhancing the type-Ⅰ IFN response and inhibiting viral infection.This mechanism is significantly different from traditional virucidal antimicrobial peptides(AMPs). 15An efficient resin for solid-phase extraction and determination by UPLCMS/MS of 44 pharmaceutical personal care products in environmental waters显示文摘In this study,a hydrophilic resin named GCHM was fabricated based on poly(N-vinyl pyrrolidone-codivinylbenzene),characterized,and applied as a solid-phase extraction(SPE)material.Up to 44 pharmaceuticals and personal care products(PPCPs)belonging to 10 classes were recovered in environmental water samples.Different variables affecting extraction,such as adsorbent amount,sample pH,and loading speed,were optimized.Under optimal conditions,the average absolute recovgy of 44 PPCPs was 75.6%using GCHM,indicating a better performance than the commercial Oasis^HLB.SPE with home-made hydrophilic polymeric sorbent followed by ultra-performance liquid chromatography and tandem mass spectrometry was validated,and the method achieved good linearity(r2>0.991,for all analytes).In addition,the method detection limits of target compounds ranged from 0.03 to 0.6 ng/L.The developed method was applied to determine PPCPs in 10 environmental water samples taken from the Yangtze River,Huaihe River,and Taihu Lake,1 groundwater sample from Changzhou in Jiangsu Province,1 wastewater sample from Xiamen and 2 seawater samples from the Jiulong River in Fujian Province,China.In these samples,22 compounds were determined at levels ranging from 0.5 to 1590 ng/L.Feng Zhu Zhijian Yao Wenliang Ji Deye Liu Hao Zhang Aimin Li Zongli Huo Qing Zhou 2020Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2020,14,3:1

18The changes of Hs-CRP and WBC count after percutaneous coronary intervention in different types of coronary heart diseases显示文摘Objective: To investigate the regulation of High sensitive C-reactive protein(Hs-CRP) and WBC count in patients with coronary heart disease(CHD) by percutaneous transluminal intervention(PCI) and to discuss the mechanism of inflammatory reaction after coronary stenting. Methods:127 patients who received successful percutaneous transluminal coronary stenting, were divided into groups of stable angina(SAP), unstable angina(UAP), and acute myocardial infarction(AMI) according to their clinical types. Another 41 stable angina patients with more than 7o% of coronary artery tenosis who did not receive PCI served as control. Serum Hs-CRP levels and WBC count were determined before intervention, 3 days and 7 days post PCI and the data were analyzed statistically by t-test. Results: There showed no difference in clinical baseline characteristics between groups. The serum Hs-CRP level and WBC count was gradually raised in the UAP and AMI group(how about SAP group, and had no difference in CAG group and SAP group). After PCI serum Hs-CRP levels and WBC counts were significantly higher in the SAP group than in the coronary angiography group(CAG) at 3 days and had no difference at 7 days. In the UAP and AMI group, the serum Hs-CRP level at 3 days and 7 days declined obviously, however serum WBC count did not decrease apparently. Conclusion: The serum Hs-CRP level and WBC count elevate transiently after PCI. 20Magnets Shifting Design of Dual PM Excited Vernier Machine for High-torque Application显示文摘In this study,a novel dual permanent magnet excited vernier machine(DPMEVM)with magnets shifting in stator is proposed.Compared with the conventional permanent magnet synchronous machine(PMSM),the DPMEVM based on the bidirectional field modulation effect can operate in a wider torque range.However,the torque ripple of a conventional DPMEVM is high because of the superposition of the torque generated by the stator-side and rotor-side PMs.Consequently,a novel DPMEVM with magnets shifting is proposed to further reduce the torque ripple.First,the topologies and working principles of the baseline machine and proposed machines are introduced.Second,the torque-contribution harmonics are analyzed and calculated using the Maxwell tensor method.The calculation results reveal that the DPMEVM,benefiting from multiple working harmonics,can offer an enhanced torque capability compared to the PMSM.In addition,the torque ripple characteristics of the proposed machines are analyzed.It is verified that the torque ripple can be significantly reduced through magnets shifting.Third,the performances of the baseline machine and proposed machines are analyzed and compared in terms of flux density,open-circuit back-EMF,and torque characteristics.In addition,the proposed principle can be extended to machines with the same unit motor.Finally,a 120s-110p prototype machine is manufactured for validation.Feilong Yan Jinghua Ji Zhijian Ling Yuhua Sun Wenxiang Zhao 2022Chinese Journal of Electrical Engineering2022,8,3:1
