1Hierarchical assembly of highly efficient visible-light-driven Ag/g-C_(3)N_(4)/kaolinite composite photocatalyst for the degradation of ibuprofen显示文摘A novel Ag/g-C_(3)N_(4)/kaolinite composite photocatalyst was fabricated for the first time through a two-step assembly strategy by employing in situ calcination and a photodeposition process.The synthesized Ag/g-C_(3)N_(4)/kaolinite composite reached a higher degradation rate of ibuprofen(IBP)with a reaction rate constant of 0.0113 min^(-1) at an Ag content of 7% under visible-light irradiation,which was approximately 1.87 times that of the Ag/g-C_(3)N_(4) composite.Based on the physicochemical properties,the enhanced photocatalytic activity was attributed to the stronger adsorption property,wider photoresponse range and more efficient separation and transfer of electron-hole pairs.Furthermore,the incorporation of monodispersed Ag nanoparticles onto the g-C_(3)N_(4)/kaolinite sheets provided more reactive sites for the IBP degradation.In addition,according to the EPR study and trapping experiments,it was demonstrated that holes(h^(+))should be the key reactive species.A possible pathway of IBP degradation was also proposed based on the detected intermediates.Overall,the results of this work may facilitate the design of a novel visible-light-driven photocatalyst with a high efficiency that is derived from a natural mineral for environmental remediation.Zhiming Sun Xiangwei Zhang Xiongbo Dong Xiaorui Liu Ye Tan Fang Yuan Shuilin Zheng Chunquan Li 2020Journal of Materiomics2020,6,3:8
2Diatomite supported nano zero valent iron with 3D network for peroxymonosulfate activation in efficient degradation of bisphenol A显示文摘Diatomite supported nano zero valent iron(n ZVI)catalyst(NDA)with complex network structure was prepared via a mild reduction precipitation method in this work.The pore structure and pore distribution of NDA can be regulated and controlled through adjusting the loading amount of n ZVI.In general,the nano three-dimensional network formed by n ZVI and diatomite channels greatly increase the specific surface area and pore volume of NDA,and further formed more active sites,which made NDA have better performance in activating PMS to degrade BPA than pure n ZVI.The pseudo-first-order reaction rate constant of 50-NDA(50%-n ZVI/diatomite)is almost 3 times higher than that of pure n ZVI.Besides,the electron paramagnetic resonance(EPR)and radical quenching experiments showed that the activation process was dominated by the sulfate radical(SO_(4)^(-))and hydroxyl radical(·OH)produced by Fe;oxidation.The generated electrons promote the self-decomposition of PMS to produce singlet oxygen(^(1)O_(2)),and then the valence state of iron changes to produce free radicals.In addition,the possible degradation pathway of BPA was inferred from the intermediate products identified by liquid chromatograph-mass spectrometer(LC-MS).This study provides a novel strategy for the design and preparation of three-dimensional composite catalysts derived from natural mineral.Ye Tan Shuilin Zheng Yonghao Di Chunquan Li Runze Bian Zhiming Sun 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,36:4
3Hepatoprotective ability of tetramethylpyrazine produced by Bacillus amyloliquefaciens显示文摘Tetramethylpyrazine(TTMP),an important aroma compound,was produced by Bacillus amyloliquefaciens XJB-104 with distillers’grains as raw material.The yield of TTMP under optimized fermentation procedure was 3176.52 mg/L.TTMP in the fermentation broth was purified and the purity(>99%)was measured by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry.Furthermore,the hepatoprotective activity of TTMP in ethanol-water system was evaluated by biochemical indicators of liver injury,parameters of antioxidant defense system and inflammatory response,and liver histopathological assessment in mice.Ethanol treatment increased serum levels of alanine aminotransferase,aspartate aminotransferase,alkaline phos-phatase and lactate dehydrogenase,suggesting liver damage.Both high and low dose of TTMP significantly decreased levels of these indicators.Furthermore,the reduction in the activities or concentrations of superoxide dismutase,catalase,reduced glutathione and malondialdehyde in liver tissue caused by ethanol was significantly alleviated by TTMP.Increased inflammatory cytokines including transcription factor,tumor necrosis factor,interleukin-1beta,interleukin,macrophage chemoattractant protein,inducible nitric oxide synthase and cyclooxygenase were also suppressed by TTMP treatment.It is concluded that TTMP in ethanol-water system has potential liver-protective activity,especially when ethanol is consumed at low doses for short periods of time.Wenqing Zhang Guanru Si Zhiming Rao Shuai Zong Jinglei Li Xian Zhang Chuanqiang Gao Zhou Ping Ming Ye 2021Systems Microbiology and Biomanufacturing2021,1,2:4

5Enhanced visible-light-assisted peroxymonosulfate activation over MnFe_(2)O_(4) modified g-C_(3)N_(4)/diatomite composite for bisphenol A degradation显示文摘The MnFe_(2) O_(4)/g-C_(3) N_(4)/diatomite composites(Mn/G/D) were prepared via a facile precipitation-calcination method in this study.The Mn/G/D possessed higher specific surface area,lower electron-hole pairs' recombination rate,as well as wider and stronger visible light absorption capacity.Since the synergistic effect between g-C_(3 )N_(4) and MnFe_(2) O_(4),the photogene rated electron could transfer from g-C3 N4 to MnFe_(2) O_(4),which could promote the migration of electrons as well as enhance the photocatalytic activity and peroxymonosulfate(PMS) activation efficiency.Mn/G/D-5% composite displayed the excellent degradation performance of bisphenol A(BPA) with the removal efficiency of 99.9% under PMS/Vis system,which was approximately 2.47 and 63.8 times as high as that of the Mn/G/D-5%/PMS and Mn/G/D-5%/Vis system,respectively.Moreover,negative electricity derived from diatomite surface also promoted the photogenerated carriers' migration,and the degradation rate constant was around 2.4 times higher than that of MnFe_(2) O_(4)/g-C_(3) N_(4)(Mn/G).In addition,quenching experiments showed that both radical pathway(h^(+),·OH,·O_(2)^(-)and SO_(4)·^(-)) and non-radical pathway(^(1) O_(2)) were responsible for the degradation of BPA.Xiangwei Zhang Chunquan Li Ting Chen Ye Tan Xiaorui Liu Fang Yuan Shuilin Zheng Zhiming Sun 2021International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2021,31,6:2

7An improved ileal conduit surgery for bladder cancer with fewer complications显示文摘Background:Radical cystectomy and urinary diversion remains the standard surgical treatment for patients with muscle-invasive or high-risk or recurrent non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer.Although this approach prolongs patient survival remarkably,there are postoperative complications associated with urinary diversion.This study aimed to assess the efficacy of modified ileal conduit surgery for reducing early and late stoma-and ureteroileal anastomo-sis-related complications,as compared with conventional ileal conduit urinary diversion.Methods:We retrospectively evaluated the clinical data of bladder cancer patients treated with radical cystectomy and ileal conduit urinary diversion at Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center between January 1,2000 and June 30,2016.Ileal conduit was created by the conventional or a modified technique.The clinicopathologic features of the conventional and the modified ileal conduit groups were compared using the t test and the Chi square test.Multivari-able logistic regression analysis and multivariable Cox regression analysis were performed to determine the odds of developing stoma-and ureteroileal anastomosis-related complications in the two groups.Results:145 and 100 patients underwent the modified and conventional ileal conduit surgery,respectively.The two groups were comparable with regard to clinicopathologic features.The rate of stoma-related complications was significantly lower in the modified ileal conduit group than in the conventional ileal conduit group(0.7%vs.17.0%,P<0.001).No late stoma-related complications were seen in the modified ileal conduit group,but were seen in 13(13.0%)patients in the conventional ileal conduit group.The rate of ureteroileal anastomosis-related complications was significantly lower in the modified ileal conduit group than in the conventional ileal conduit group(4.8%vs.15.0%,P=0.001).In multivariable analyses,the modified ileal conduit group was significantly less likely to develop stoma-(odds ratio[OR]=0.024,95%confidence interval[CI]0.003-0.235;P=0.001)or ureteroileal anastomosis-related complications(OR=0.141,95%CI 0.042-0.476;P=0.002)than the conventional ileal conduit group.Conclusions:Our modified surgical technique for ileal conduit urinary diversion may be effective for reducing early and late complications related to the stoma and the ureteroileal anastomosis.Prospective randomized clinical trials are needed to confirm our results.Zhiyong Li Zhuowei Liu Kai Yao Zike Qin Hui Han Yonghong Li Pei Dong Yunlin Ye Yanjun Wang Zhiming Wu Zhiling Zhang Fangjian Zhou 2019Cancer Communications2019,39,1:2

12Development and Characterization of West Nile Virus Replicon Expressing Secreted Gaussia Luciferase显示文摘We developed a Gaussia luciferase (Gluc) reporter replicon of West Nile virus (WNV) and used it to quantify viral translation and RNA replication. The advantage of the Gluc replicon is that Gaussia luciferase is secreted into the culture medium from cells transfected with Gluc replicon RNA, and the medium can be assayed directly for luciferase activity. Using a known Flavivirus inhibitor (NITD008), we demonstrated that the Gluc-WNV replicon could be used for antiviral screening. 13UV-LED/P25-based photocatalysis for effective degradation of isothiazolone biocide显示文摘In this work,LED-based photocatalysis using mixed rutile and anatase phase TiO_(2)(P25)as the photocatalyst could effectively remove 5-chloro-2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one(CMIT)and methylisothiazolone(MIT)simultaneously,with removal efficiencies above 80%within 20 min.The photocatalytic degradation of both CMIT and MIT could be modeled using a pseudo-first-order rate equation.The photocatalytic degradation rates of CMIT and MIT under LED280 illumination were higher than under LED310 or LED360 illumination.At concentrations below 100 mg/L,the degradation rate of CMIT and MIT under LED illumination significantly increased with increasing catalyst dosage.Additionally,the effects of the chloride ion concentration,alkalinity and dissolved organic matter on the photocatalytic degradation reaction were also investigated.The·OH free radicals were determined to play the primary role in the photocatalytic degradation reaction,with a degradation contribution of>95%.The photocatalytic degradation of CMIT and MIT mainly occurred via oxidation,hydrolysis,and chain growth reactions.Finally,the possible photocatalytic degradation pathways of CMIT and MIT over LED/P25 are proposed.Xinzheng Li Zhiming Li Zhihui Xing Zhimin Song Bei Ye Zhengming Wang Qianyuan Wu 2021Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2021,15,5:1

17Analytic elasticity solution of bi-modulus beams under combined loads显示文摘A unified stress function for bi-modulus beams is proposed based on its mechanic sense on the boundary of beams. Elasticity solutions of stress and displacement for bi-modulus beams under combined loads are derived. The example analysis shows that the maximum tensile stress using the same elastic modulus theory is underestimated if the tensile elastic modulus is larger than the compressive elastic modulus. Otherwise,the maximum compressive stress is underestimated. The maximum tensile stress using the material mechanics solution is underestimated when the tensile elastic modulus is larger than the compressive elastic modulus to a certain extent. The error of stress using the material mechanics theory decreases as the span-to-height ratio of beams increases,which is apparent when L/h 5. 20Cu_(1)-B dual-active sites catalysts for the efficient dehydrogenative coupling and CO_(2)electroreduction显示文摘Dual-active sites(DASs)catalysts have positive potential applications in broad fields because of their specific active sites and synergistic catalytic effects.Therefore,the controllable synthesis and finely regulating the activity of such catalysts has become a hot research area for now.In this work,we developed a pyrolysis-etching-hydrogen activation strategy to prepare the DASs catalysts involving single-atom Cu and B on N-doped porous carbon material(Cu_(1)-B/NPC).Numerous systematic characterization and density functional theoretical(DFT)calculation results showed that the Cu and B existed as Cu-N4 porphyrinlike unit and B-N_(3)unit in the obtained catalyst.DFT calculations further revealed that single-atom Cu and B sites were linked by bridging N atoms to form the Cu_(1)-B-N6 dual-sites.The Cu_(1)-B/NPC catalyst was more effective than the single-active site catalysts with B-N_(3)sites in NPC(B/NPC)and Cu-N4 porphyrin-like sites in NPC(Cu_(1)/NPC),respectively,for the dehydrogenative coupling of dimethylphenylsilane(DiMPSH)with various alcohols,performing the great activity(>99%)and selectivity(>99%).The catalytic performances of the Cu_(1)-B/NPC catalyst remained nearly unchanged after five cycles,also indicating its outstanding recyclability.DFT calculations showed that the Cu_(1)-B-N6 dual-sites exhibited the lowest energy profile on the potential energy surface than that of sole B-N_(3)and Cu-N4 porphyrin-like sites.Furthermore,the rate-limiting step of dehydrogenation of DiMPSH on Cu_(1)-B-N6 dual-sites also showed a much lower activation energy than the other two single sites.Benefitting from the superiority of the Cu_(1)-B-N6 dual-sites,the Cu_(1)-B/NPC catalyst can also be used for CO_(2)electroreduction to produce syngas.Thus,DASs catalysts are promising to achieve multifunctional catalytic properties and have aroused positive attention in the field of catalysis.Konglin Wu Zhaobin Fang Cheng Peng Yining Zhang Binbin Jiang Yanshang Kang Zhiming Chen Mingfu Ye Yuxi Wu Xianwen Wei Shoujie Liu Sha Li Jian Zhang 2023Nano Research2023,16,4:0
