1Selective laser melting of NiTi alloy with superior tensile property and shape memory effect显示文摘It is a challenge to develop complex-shaped Ni Ti shape memory alloy parts by traditional processing methods, due to the poor machinability of Ni Ti alloy. It is reported that selective laser melting(SLM) of additive manufacturing could overcome this problem. However, the reported SLM-produced Ni Ti exhibits poor tensile ductility due to the inner defects and adverse unidirectional columnar grains from SLM process. In this work, the defect-less SLM-Ni Ti with nondirective columnar grains was fabricated by optimizing the intraformational laser scanning length and interformational laser scanning direction. The obtained lath-shaped SLM-Ni Ti sample exhibits tensile strain of 15.6%, more than twice of the reported maximum result(7%). 2Preparation of two kinds of superparamagnetic carriers-supported cis-platinum complexes and the compari-son of their characteristics显示文摘The purpose of the research is to ex- plore the effect of different surface modifiers in preparation of magnetic carriers-supported cis-plat- inum (CDDP) complex and their characteristics. So- dium alginate (SA) and N-oleoylsarcosine (NOSARK) were used respectively as linkers between CDDP and magnetic nanometer particles (MNP), and carri- ers-supported CDDP complex of carboxymethyl dex- tran (CM-dex) was used as the control. The physical and chemical characteristics of CDDP-MNP were measured by transmission electron microscope, photon correlation spectrum (PCS), spectrophotome- ter, etc. The advantages and disadvantages of the two linkers were analyzed through comparing the stability and quantity of reversibly bound CDDP. The cis-platinum magnetic nanometer particles were found to have the shape of approximately uniformly pellets under transmission electron microscope. The distribution of PCS diameter was 43―52 nm and the diameter of magnetic nucleus of CDDP- MNP com- plex was about 8.8±1.3 nm. The drug- loading ca- pacity of SA is larger than that of NOSARK, and similar to that of CM-dex. The SA-modified CDDP-MNP solution remained stable after being kept at 4℃ for 40 d. SA is superior to NOSARK as a magnetic nanoparticles surface modifier. Natural SA can supersede CM-dex to serve as linker between CDDP and MNP. 3IL-25 stimulates M2 macrophage polarization and thereby promotes mitochondrial respiratory capacity and lipolysis in adipose tissues against obesity显示文摘Obesity and associated metabolic diseases are characterized by a chronic low-grade inflammatory state with the infiltration of many inflammatory cells,especially macrophages.Immune molecules,including some cytokines,have a close relationship with metabolism.Interleukin(IL)-25 is a member of the IL-17 cytokine family that can regulate macrophages and alleviate some metabolic dysfunction;however,its role and mechanisms in lipid metabolism remain to be extensively clarified.Human serum and liver biopsy specimens,high-fat diet-induced obesity mice and DB/DB(Lepr−/−)animal models were used to examine IL-25 expression in obesity and nonalcoholic fatty liver diseases(NAFLD).To observe the role of IL-25 in lipid metabolism,model mice were administered with IL-25 or adoptively transferred with IL-25-educated macrophages in vivo,whereas bone marrow-derived macrophages,the macrophage cell line RAW264.7 and adipocytes differentiated from 3T3-L1 were used in vitro.IL-25 was decreased in NAFLD patients and obese mice.In addition,IL-25 reduced body weight gain and lipid accumulation,enhanced lipid uptake by macrophages and increased the expression of lipolysis andβ-oxidation enzymes via alternatively activating macrophages.IL-25 also promoted lipolysis and suppressed lipogenesis in adipocytes co-cultured with the IL-25-educated macrophages.Furthermore,IL-25 improved the mitochondrial respiratory capacity and oxygen consumption rate of macrophages and produced more NAD+/NADH and ATP.In conclusion,IL-25 can stimulate M2 macrophage polarization and thereby promote lipolysis and mitochondrial respiratory capacity,highlighting the potential for IL-25 to be used as a therapeutic agent against obesity and associated metabolic syndromes.Juan Feng Lingyi Li Zhiying Ou Qiao Li Baoyong Gong Zhenxian Zhao Weiwei Qi Ti Zhou Jun Zhong Weibin Cai Xia Yang Aiping Zhao Guoquan Gao Zhonghan Yang 2018Cellular & Molecular Immunology2018,15,5:10

5The ACTIVE study protocol:apatinib or placebo plus gefitinib as first-line treatment for patients with EGFR-mutant advanced non-small cell lung cancer(CTONG1706)显示文摘Background:Gefitinib,as the first epidermal growth factor receptor tyrosine kinase inhibitors(EGFR-TKI)approved for the treatment of advanced non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC),has been proved to significantly improve the progression-free survival(PFS)in the first-line setting but suffers from resistance 7-10 months after treatment initia-tion.Apatinib(YN968D1),a potent vascular endothelial growth factor receptor(VEGFR)2-TKI,specifically binds to VEGFR2 and leads to anti-angiogenetic and anti-neoplastic effect.Concurrent inhibition of VEGFR and EGFR path-ways represents a rational approach to improve treatment responses and delay the onset of treatment resistance in EGFR-mutant NSCLC.This ACTIVE study aims to assess the combination of apatinib and gefitinib as a new treatment approach for EGFR-mutant NSCLC as a first-line setting.Methods:This multicenter,randomized,double-blind,placebo-controlled phase III study(NCT02824458)has been designed to assess the efficacy and safety of apatinib or placebo combined with gefitinib as a first-line treatment for patients with EGFR-mutant advanced NSCLC.A total of 310 patients with EGFR-mutation(19del or 21L858R),pathological stage IIIB to IV non-squamous NSCLC were to be enrolled.The primary endpoint is investigator assessment of PFS,and the secondary endpoints include independent radiological central(IRC)-confirmed PFS,overall survival(OS),objective response rate(ORR),disease control rate(DCR),time to progressive disease(TTPD),duration of response(DoR),quality of life(QoL)and safety.The patients are randomized in a 1:1 ratio to receive gefitinib(250 mg,p.o.q.d.)plus apatinib(500 mg,p.o.q.d.)or gefitinib plus placebo,given until disease progression or intolerable adverse events.Exploratory biomarker analysis will be performed.This study is being conducted across China and comprises of 30 participating centers.Enrollment commenced in August 2017 and finished in December 2018,most of the patients are in the follow-up period.Anticipated outcomes and significance:The present study will be the first to evaluate the efficacy and safety profile of the combination of apatinib plus gefitinib as a first-line therapy for patients with EGFR-positive advanced non-squamous NSCLC.Importantly,this trial will provide comprehensive evidence on the treatment of EGFR-TKIs combined with antiangiogenic therapy.Zhonghan Zhang Fan Luo Yang Zhang Yuxiang Ma Shaodong Hong Yunpeng Yang Wenfeng Fang Yan Huang Li Zhang Hongyun Zhao 2019Cancer Communications2019,39,1:5
6Effects of electroacupuncture at Zusanli (ST 36) on neurons in the colonic myenteric plexus in rats with irritable bowel syndrome with constipation显示文摘We studied the effects of electroacupuncture at Zusanli (ST 36) on neurons in the colonic myenteric plexus and on defecation in rats with irritable bowel syndrome with constipation (IBS-C). We also used intragastric administration of pinaverium bromide as a positive control treatment to reveal the pathway mediating the onset of IBS-C. Both electroacupuncture and pinaverium bromide greatly improved defecation in rats with IBS-C. Immunohistochemical staining of the enteric nervous system neuronal marker protein gene product 9.5 in the colonic myenteric plexus showed that electroacupuncture by itself, or in combination with pinaverium bromide, increased the number of neurons and the staining intensity of protein gene product 9.5 in the colonic myenteric plexus. 7Effects of Internal Flow on Vortex-Induced Vibration and Fatigue Life of Submarine Pipelines显示文摘- With the rapid development of the offshore oil industries, submarine oil / gas pipelines have been widely used. Under the complicated submarine environmental conditions, the dynamic characteristics of pipelines show some new features due to the existence of both internal and external flows. The paper is intended to investigate the vortex-induced vibration of the suspended pipeline span exposed to submarine steady flow. Especially, the effects of the flow inside the pipeline are taken into account. 8Optical and scintillation properties of Ce:Y_(3)Al_(5)O_(12) single crystal fibers grown by laser heated pedestal growth method显示文摘The single crystal scintillating optical fibers acting as the scintillators and light conductors show potential application in scintillating fiber array detectors with high spatial resolution.In this paper we report the growth of 0.2 at%Ce:Y_(3)Al_(5)O_(12) single crystal fiber.The crystalline phase,surface morphology of the axialsection and cro ss-section,optical and scintillation properties of the as-grown fiber were investigated.The Ce:Y_(3)Al_(5)O_(12) single crystal fiber has a pure YAG phase,a uniform distribution of cerium in the axialsection and cross-section surface.Emission spectrum is composed of broad bands ranging from 440 to700 nm.In addition,the single crystal fiber has a high light yield of 26115±2000 photons/MeV,low energy resolution of 9.44%@662 keV and decay time of a fast component of 78 ns and a slow component of 301 ns.The intensity ratio of fast to slow components is roughly 8:1.Xibin Wang Yun Dai Zhonghan Zhang Liangbi Su Huamin Kou Yangxiao Wang Anhua Wu 2021Journal of Rare Earths2021,39,12:2

18Selective laser melted high Ni content TiNi alloy with superior superelasticity and hardwearing显示文摘TiNi alloys with high content Ni(52-55 at.%)are perfectly suitable for preparing wear-and corrosionresistant parts that service on the space station,spacecraft,and submarine,because of their superior superelasticity,high strength,and hardwearing.However,the fabrication of complicated Ni-rich TiNi parts by the traditional machining method often faces problems of poor precision,low efficiency,and high cost.In this work,we succeed in preparing an excellent Ti_(47)Ni_(53) alloy by selective laser melting(SLM),and thus,open a new way for the efficient and precise formation of complicated Ni-rich TiNi parts with superelasticity and hardwearing.An optimized processing window for compact parts without defects is reported.The elaborately fabricated Ti_(47)Ni_(53) alloy exhibited a breaking strain of 11%,a breaking stress of 2.0 GPa,a superelastic strain of 9%,and a better hardwearing than that of casting and quenched Ti_(47)Ni_(53) alloy.Besides,the microstructure,phase transformation,and deformation,as well as their influence mechanisms are investigated by in situ transmission electron microscope(TEM)and high-energy X-ray diffraction(HE-XRD).The results obtained are of significance for both fundamental research and technological applications of SLM-fabricated high Ni content TiNi alloys.Hui Shen Qingquan Zhang Ying Yang Yang Ren Yanbao Guo Yafeng Yang Zhonghan Li Zhiwei Xiong Xiangguang Kong Zhihui Zhang Fangmin Guo Lishan Cui Shijie Hao 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,21:1
19A Scalable Memory Management Service Based on Microkernel OS in Multicore Environment显示文摘The trends of exponential growing core counts incur new requirements on operating systems. The contemporary monolithic OSs protect shared kernel data by locking in multicore environment. However, the lock contention of OS functions may lead to overall performance degradation. This paper adopts microkernel architecture for scalability concerns, since it has flexibilities for the management of computing resources and explicit data layout to avoid locking. We present a scalable Memory management service(MMS) based on microkernel OS. The physical memory is distributed into servers to remove the lock contention over page pools. Then we discuss the new problems, including load balance and 'distributed memory fragmentation'. MMS is divided into one master and multiple slaves. The master is a coordinator for adjusting loads and routing requests with a global memory view,while the slaves are responsible for the management of distributed page zones and virtual memory areas. 20Diagnosis of sewer pipe defects on image recognition of multi-features and support vector machine in a southern Chinese city显示文摘Closed circuit television(CCTV)systems are widely used to inspect sewer pipe conditions.During the diagnosis process,the manual diagnosis of defects is time consuming,labor intensive and error prone.To assist inspectors in diagnosing sewer pipe defects on CCTV inspection images,this paper presents an image recognition algorithm that applies features extraction and machine learning approaches.An algorithm of image recognition techniques,including Hu invariant moment,texture features,lateral Fourier transform and Daubechies(DBn)wavelet transform,was used to describe the features of defects,and support vector machines were used to classify sewer pipe defects.According to the inspection results,seven defects were defined;the diagnostic system was applied to a sewer pipe system in a southern city of China,and 28,760 m of sewer pipes were inspected.The results revealed that the classification accuracies of the different defects ranged from 51.6% to 99.3%.The overall accuracy reached 84.1%.The diagnosing accuracy depended on the number of the training samples,and four fitting curves were applied to fit the data.According to this paper,the logarithmic fitting curve presents the highest coefficient of determination of 0.882,and more than 200 images need to be used for training samples to guarantee the accuracy higher than 85%.Xiangyang Ye Jian’e Zuo Ruohan Li Yajiao Wang Lili Gan Zhonghan Yu Xiaoqing Hu 2019Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2019,13,2:1
