| 1 | Tensile and Fracture Properties of 15 vol% SiC_p/2009Al Composites Fabricated by Hot Isostatic Pressing and Hot Extrusion Processes显示文摘15 vol% silicon carbide particle(Si Cp)-reinforced 2009 Al matrix(15 vol% Si Cp/2009Al) composites were fabricated by hot isostatic pressing(HIP) and hot extrusion processes. The tensile and fracture properties of 15 vol% Si Cp/2009 Al were studied. The results showed that hot extrusion increased the ultimate tensile strength(UTS), yield strength(YS), elongation(EL), reduction in area(RA), and fracture toughness of the composites. The heat treatment resulted in the increase in UTS, YS, and fracture toughness, but a decrease in EL and RA. Both hot extrusion and heat treatment had negligible effects on elastic modulus(E). With the increase of Si Cpsize, the UTS, YS, and E decreased, but the EL and RA increased. | 2 | Analysis of the ore-controlling structure of the Shihu gold deposit, Hebei Province and deep-seated ore-prospecting prediction显示文摘Under the guidance of the theory of mantle-branch structure-associated metallogenesis and on the basis of the geological characteristics, analysis of the ore-forming and ore-controlling structures, the geochemical characteristics of metallogenesis, the source of ore-forming materials, changes in the physical and chemical conditions of metallogenesis, changes in the vertical width of ore veins, and changes in gold grade of the Shihu gold deposit, the mechanism of its metallogenesis was discussed and the rules of vertical variation of ore veins were summarized in this study. It is pointed out that the orebodies under exploitation at present time should be in the middle and upper portions of gold veins in the Shihu gold mining district. Particularly on the basis of the characteristics of mantle-branch structure-associated metallogenesis, it is indicated that metallogenesis is controlled mainly by such ore-forming conditions as temperature and pressure. Deep-seated ore-forming fluids are characterized mainly by injection and precipitation. So the vein bodies in the adjacent metallogenic structures are of obvious comparability, and there would be great prospects for ore search both at depth and in the periphery of the Shihu gold deposit. | 3 | Significance of neuroglobin in serum of acute atherosclerotic cerebral infarction patients显示文摘This study sought to examine neuroglobin (NGB) in the serum of acute cerebral infarction patients with double-antibody sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay to identify all risk factors, calculate infarct size, assess neurological impairment, and analyze the relation between NGB and each of these factors. The double-antibody sandwich assay indicated that levels of NGB in serum were unaltered within 6 hours following acute cerebral infarction compared with normal levels. NGB levels then underwent a distinct change, peaking at 24 hours then returning to normal levels in 72 hours. The results suggest that the level of NGB might be related to infarct size and low-density lipoprotein at 24 hours after acute cerebral infarction. There were no significant differences in neurological impairment scores and infarct size at different periods following infarction. | 8 | Formation and evolution of the strike-slip faults in the central Sichuan Basin, SW China显示文摘Based on 3D seismic and drilling data, the timing, evolution and genetic mechanism of deep strike-slip faults in the central Sichuan Basin are thoroughly examined by using the U-Pb dating of fault-filled carbonate cement and seismic-geological analysis. The strike-slip fault system was initially formed in the Late Sinian, basically finalized in the Early Cambrian with dextral transtensional structure, was overlaid with at least one stage of transpressional deformation before the Permian, then was reversed into a sinistral weak transtensional structure in the Late Permian. Only a few of these faults were selectively activated in the Indosinian and later periods. The strike-slip fault system was affected by the preexisting structures such as Nanhuanian rifting normal faults and NW-striking deep basement faults. It is an oblique accommodated intracratonic transfer fault system developed from the Late Sinian to Early Cambrian to adjust the uneven extension of the Anyue trough from north to south and matches the Anyue trough in evolution time and intensity. Two sets of CaCus-type crystal constants were observed in the studied alloys and one set was larger than the other. With decreasing powder radius the solidification rate of powder increased, and so did the percentage of a particle part with larger crystal constants.
