Angles-only initial relative orbit determination algorithm for noncooperative spacecraft proximity operations显示文摘This research furthers the development of a closed-form solution to the angles-only initial relative orbit determination problem for non-cooperative target close-in proximity operations when the camera offset from the vehicle center-of-mass allows for range observability. In previous work, the solution to this problem had been shown to be non-global optimal in the sense of least square and had only been discussed in the context of Clohessy–Wiltshire. In this paper, the emphasis is placed on developing a more compact and improved solution to the problem by using state augmentation least square method in the context of the Clohessy–Wiltshire and Tschauner–Hempel dynamics, derivation of corresponding error covariance, and performance analysis for typical rendezvous missions.A two-body Monte Carlo simulation system is used to evaluate the performance of the solution. The sensitivity of the solution accuracy to camera offset, observation period, and the number of observations are presented and discussed.Baichun Gong Wendan Li Shuang Li Weihua Ma Lili Zheng 2018Astrodynamics2018,2,3:20
Analytic Initial Relative Orbit Solution for Angles-Only Space Rendezvous Using Hybrid Dynamics Method显示文摘A closed-form solution to the angles-only initial relative orbit determination(IROD)problem for space rendezvous with non-cooperated target is developed, where a method of hybrid dynamics with the concept of virtual formation is introduced to analytically solve the problem.Emphasis is placed on developing the solution based on hybrid dynamics(i.e.,Clohessy-Wiltshire equations and two-body dynamics),obtaining formation geometries that produce relative orbit state observability, and deriving the approximate analytic error covariance for the IROD solution.A standard Monte Carlo simulation system based on two-body dynamics is used to verify the feasibility and evaluate the performance proposed algorithms. The sensitivity of the solution accuracy to the formation geometry, observation numbers is presented and discussed.Baichun Gong Shuang Li Lili Zheng Jinglang Feng 2020Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2020,,1:2
CUL4B facilitates HBV replication by promoting HBx stabilization显示文摘Objective:Hepatitis B virus(HBV)infection is a major public health problem worldwide. However, the regulatory mechanisms underlying HBV replication remain unclear.Cullin 4 B-RING ubiquitin E3 ligase(CRL4 B)is involved in regulating diverse physiological and pathophysiological processes. In our study,we aimed to explain the role of CUL4 B in HBV infection.Methods:Cul4 b transgenic mice or conditional knockout mice,as well as liver cell lines with CUL4 B overexpression or knockdown, were used to assess the role of CUL4 B in HBV replication.Immunoprecipitation assays and immunofluorescence staining were performed to study the interaction between CUL4 B and HBx.Cycloheximide chase assays and in vivo ubiquitination assays were performed to evaluate the half-life and the ubiquitination status of HBx.Results:The hydrodynamics-based hepatitis B model in Cul4 b transgenic or conditional knockout mice indicated that CUL4 B promoted HBV replication(P<0.05).Moreover,the overexpression or knockdown system in human liver cell lines validated that CUL4 B increased HBV replication in an HBx-dependent manner.Importantly, immunoprecipitation assays and immunofluorescence staining showed an interaction between CUL4 B and HBx.Furthermore,CUL4 B upregulated HBx protein levels by inhibiting HBx ubiquitination and proteasomal degradation(P<0.05).Finally,a positive correlation between CUL4 B expression and HBV pg RNA level was observed in liver tissues from HBV-positive patients and HBV transgenic mice.Conclusions:CUL4 B enhances HBV replication by interacting with HBx and disrupting its ubiquitin-dependent proteasomal degradation.CUL4 B may therefore be a potential target for anti-HBV therapy.Haixia Shan Bo Wang Xiaodong Zhang Hui Song Xi Li Yongxin Zou Baichun Jiang Huili Hu Hao Dou Changshun Shao Lifen Gao Chunhong Ma Xiaoyun Yang Xiaohong Liang Yaoqin Gong 2022Cancer Biology & Medicine2022,19,1:2
CUL4B negatively regulates Toll-like receptor-triggered proinflammatory responses by repressing Pten transcription显示文摘Toll-like receptors (TLRs) play critical roles in innate immunity and inflammation. The molecular mechanisms by which TLR signaling is fine-tuned remain to be completely elucidated. Cullin 4B (CUL4B), which assembles the CUL4B-RING E3 ligase complex (CRL4B), has been shown to regulate diverse developmental and physiological processes by catalyzing monoubiquitination for histone modification or polyubiquitination for proteasomal degradation. Here, we identified the role of CUL4B as an intrinsic negative regulator of the TLR-triggered inflammatory response. Deletion of CUL4B in macrophages increased the production of proinflammatory cytokines and decreased anti-inflammatory cytokine IL-10 production in response to pathogens that activate TLR3, TLR4, or TLR2. Myeloid cell-specific Cul4b knockout mice were more susceptible to septic shock when challenged with lipopolysaccharide, polyinosinic-polycytidylic acid or Salmonella typhimurium infection. We further demonstrated that enhanced TLR-induced inflammatory responses in the absence of CUL4B were mediated by increased GSK3β activity. Suppression of GSK3β activity efficiently blocked the TLR-triggered increase in proinflammatory cytokine production and attenuated TLR-triggered death in Cul4b mutant mice. Mechanistically, CUL4B was found to negatively regulate TLR-triggered signaling by epigenetically repressing the transcription of Pten, thus maintaining the anti-inflammatory PI3K-AKT-GSK3β pathway. The upregulation of PTEN caused by CUL4B deletion led to uncontrolled GSK3β activity and excessive inflammatory immune responses. Thus, our findings indicate that CUL4B functions to restrict TLR-triggered inflammatory responses through regulating the AKT-GSK3β pathway.Yu Song Peishan Li Liping Qin Zhiliang Xu Baichun Jiang Chunhong Ma Changshun Shao Yaoqin Gong 2021Cellular & Molecular Immunology2021,18,2:2
Study on Forced Straight-Line Guidance for the Final Translation Phase of Spacecraft Rendezvous显示文摘Aimed at the problem of final translation of space rendezvous for the applications such as docking, inspection and tracking, optimal straight-line guidance algorithm based on pulse/continuous low-thrust in the context of Clohessy-Wiltshire dynamics is proposed. Two modes of guidance strategy:varying-speed and fixed-speed approaching scheme for V-bar and R-bar approach by using constant/finite low-thrust propulsion respectively are studied, and the corresponding fuel-optimal conditions are obtained.Numerical simulation is conducted to verify and test the proposed algorithms. The results show that there is generally no different between the fuel consumptions by using the two different approaching modes for V-bar case. However, the conclusion for Rbar case is different that the using of continuous low-thrust cost more fuel and transfer time.Baichun Gong Chenglong He Degang Zhang 2020Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2020,,1:1
CUL4B orchestrates mesenchymal stem cell commitment by epigenetically repressing KLF4 and C/EBPδ显示文摘Dysregulated lineage commitment of mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)contributes to impaired bone formation and an imbalance between adipogenesis and osteogenesis during skeletal aging and osteoporosis. The intrinsic cellular mechanism that regulates MSC commitment remains unclear. Here,we identified Cullin 4B(CUL4B)as a critical regulator of MSC commitment.CUL4B is expressed in bone marrow MSCs(BMSCs)and downregulated with aging in mice and humans.Conditional knockout of Cul4b in MSCs resulted in impaired postnatal skeletal development with low bone mass and reduced bone formation. Moreover, depletion of CUL4B in MSCs aggravated bone loss and marrow adipose accumulation during natural aging or after ovariectomy. In addition,CUL4B deficiency in MSCs reduced bone strength.Mechanistically,CUL4B promoted osteogenesis and inhibited adipogenesis of MSCs by repressing KLF4 and C/EBPδexpression,respectively.The CUL4B complex directly bound to Klf4 and Cebpd and epigenetically repressed their transcription.Collectively, this study reveals CUL4B-mediated epigenetic regulation of the osteogenic or adipogenic commitment of MSCs,which has therapeutic implications in osteoporosis.Ruiqi Yu Hong Han Shuxian Chu Yijun Ding Shiqi Jin Yufeng Wang Wei Jiang Yuting Liu Yongxin Zou Molin Wang Qiao Liu Gongping Sun Baichun Jiang Yaoqin Gong 2023Bone Research2023,11,2:0
Cooperative Angles-Only Relative Navigation Algorithm for Multi-Spacecraft Formation in Close-Range显示文摘As to solve the collaborative relative navigation problem for near-circular orbiting small satellites in close-range under GNSS denied environment,a novel consensus constrained relative navigation algorithm based on the lever arm effect of the sensor offset from the spacecraft center of mass is proposed.Firstly, the orbital propagation model for the relative motion of multi-spacecraft is established based on Hill-Clohessy-Wiltshire dynamics and the line-of-sight measurement under sensor offset condition is modeled in Local Vertical Local Horizontal frame.Secondly, the consensus constraint model for the relative orbit state is constructed by introducing the geometry constraint between the spacecraft, based on which the consensus unscented Kalman filter is designed.Thirdly, the observability analysis is done and the necessary conditions of the sensor offset to make the state observable are obtained.Lastly, digital simulations are conducted to verify the proposed algorithm, where the comparison to the unconstrained case is also done. The results show that the estimated error of the relative position converges very quickly, the location error is smaller than 10m under the condition of 10−3 rad level camera and 5m offset.Sha Wang Chenglong He Baichun Gong Xin Ding Yanhua Yuan 2023Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2023,,1:0
Review of space relative navigation based on angles-only measurements显示文摘Relative navigation is a key enabling technology for space missions such as on-orbit servicing and space situational awareness.Given that there are several special advantages of space relative navigation using angles-only measurements from passive optical sensors,angles-only relative navigation is considered as one of the best potential approaches in the field of space relative navigation.However,angles-only relative navigation is well-known for its range observability problem. To overcome this observability problem, many studies have been conducted over the past decades. In this study,we present a comprehensive review of state-of-the-art space relative navigation based on angles-only measurements. The emphasis is on the observability problem and solutions to angles-only relative navigation, where the review of the solutions is categorized into four classes based on the intrinsic principle:complicated dynamics approach,multi-line of sight(multi-LOS)approach,sensor offset center-of-mass approach, and orbit maneuver approach. Then, the fight demonstration results of angles-only relative navigation in the two projects are briefly reviewed. Finally, conclusions of this study and recommendations for further research are presented.Baichun Gong Sha Wang Shuang Li Xianqiang Li 2023Astrodynamics2023,7,2:0
