1Variable-step integration method for milling chatter stability prediction with multiple delays显示文摘This paper analyzes the stability of milling with variable pitch cutter and tool runout cases characterized by multiple delays,and proposes a new variable-step numerical integration method for efficient and accurate stability prediction. The variable-step technique is emphasized here to expand the numerical integration method,especially for the low radial immersion cases with multiple delays. First,the calculation accuracy of the numerical integration method is discussed and the variable-step algorithm is developed for milling stability prediction for single-delay and multiple-delay cases,respectively. The milling stability with variable pitch cutter is analyzed and the result is compared with those predicted with the frequency domain method and the improved full-discretization method. The influence of the runout effect on the stability boundary is investigated by the presented method. The numerical simulation shows that the cutter runout effect increases the stability boundary,and the increasing stability limit is verified by the milling chatter experimental results in the previous research. 2Size control of monodisperse nonporous silica particles by seed particle growth显示文摘Monodisperse nonporous silica particles were prepared by sol-precipitation via seed particle growth method,and the particle size,which varied from 1.0 to 4.7 m,was strictly controlled in our experiment. The formation of secondary particles,which resulted in a multimodal distribution of particle size,was suppressed by changing tetraethoxysilane(TEOS) concentration and reaction temperature. 3Human CMTM2/CKLFSF2 enhances the ligand-induced transactivation of the androgen receptor显示文摘CKLF (chemokine-like factor)-like MARVEL (MAL and related proteins for vesicle trafficking and mem-brane link domain) transmembrane domain containing (CMTM) is a novel gene family. One member of this family, CMTM2, also named chemokine-like factor superfamily 2 (CKLFSF2), is expressed highly in the testis and moderately in the prostate, marrow and peripheral blood cells. However, the function of human CMTM2 remains unknown. Here, we found that CMTM2 was upregulated in 5α-dihydrotestos- terone (DHT)-treated LNCaP cells. We investigated the relationship between CMTM2 and the androgen receptor. Our results showed that CMTM2 enhanced DHT-mediated androgen receptor (AR) transacti-vation and the expression of prostate specific antigen (PSA). We also observed that CMTM2 enhanced the AR protein level, which was reversed by silencing endogenous CMTM2 expression, which sug-gested that CMTM2 might play an important role in maintaining the AR protein level. We also found that CMTM2 suppressed Akt activation. A previous study showed that Akt could phosphorylate AR at Ser210 and Ser790 and lead to AR ubiquitylation and degradation as well as suppression of AR activity. 4Aberrant translation regulated by METTL1/WDR4-mediated tRNA N7-methylguanosine modification drives head and neck squamous cell carcinoma progression显示文摘Background:Cancer cells selectively promote the translation of oncogenic tran-scripts to stimulate cancer progression.Although growing evidence has revealed that tRNA modifications and related genes participate in this process,their roles in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma(HNSCC)remain largely unchar-acterized.Here,we sought to investigate the function and mechanisms of the transfer RNA(tRNA)N7-methylguanosine(m'G)modification in regulating the occurrence and development of HNSCC.Methods:Cell lost of-function and gain-of function assays,xenograft models,conditional knockout and knockin mouse models were used to study the physi-ological functions of tRNA m'G modification in HNSCC tumorigenesis.tRNA modification and expression profiling,mRNA translation profiling and res-cue assays were performed to uncover the underlying molecular mechanisms.Single-cell RNA sequencing(scRNA seq)was conducted to explore the tumor microenvironment changes.Results:The tRNA.m7G methyltransferase complex components Methyltransferase-like 1(METTL1)/WD repeat domain 4(WDR4)were upregulated in HNSCC and associated with a poor prognosis.Functionally,METTL1/WDR4 promoted HNSCC progression and metastasis in cell-based and transgenic mouse models.Mechanistically,ablation of METTL1 reduced the m'G levels of 16 tRNAS,inhibiting the translation of a subset of oncogenic transcripts,including genes related to the phosphatidylinositol-3-kinase/protein kinase B/mammalian target of rapamycin(PI3K/AKT/mTOR)signaling pathway.In addition,chemical modulators of the PI3K/Akt/mTOR signaling pathway reversed the effects of Mettll in mouse HNSCC.Furthermore,scRNA-seq results revealed that Mettll knockout in mouse tumor cells altered the immune landscape and cell-cell interaction between the tumor and stromal compartment.Conclusions:The tRNA m?G methyltransferase METTLI was found to promote the development and malignancy of HNSCC through regulating global mRNA translation,including the PI3K/AKT/mTOR signaling pathway,and found to alter immune landscape.METTLI could be a promising treatment target for HNSCC patients.Jie Chen Kang Li Jianwen Chen Xiaochen Wang Rongsong Ling Maosheng Cheng Zhi Chen Fangfang Chen Qianting He Shuai Li Caihua Zhang Yizhou Jiang Qianming Chen Anxun Wang Demeng Chen 2022Cancer Communications2022,42,3:6

6Syntenic quantitative trait loci and genomic divergence for Sclerotinia resistance and ?owering time in Brassica napus显示文摘Oilseed rape(Brassica napus) is an allotetraploid with two subgenomes descended from a common ancestor. Accordingly, its genome contains syntenic regions with many duplicate genes, some of which may have retained their original functions, whereas others may have diverged. Here, we mapped quantitative trait loci(QTL) for stem rot resistance(SRR), a disease caused by the fungus Sclerotinia sclerotiorum, and flowering time(FT) in a recombinant inbred line population. The population was genotyped using B.napus 60 K single nucleotide polymorphism arrays and phenotyped in six(FT) and nine(SSR) experimental conditions or environments. In total, we detected 30 SRR QTL and 22 FT QTL and show that some of the major QTL associated with these two traits were co-localized,suggesting a genetic linkage between them. Two SRR QTL on chromosome A2 and two on chromosome C2 were shown to be syntenic, suggesting the functional conservation of these regions. We used the syntenic properties of the genomic regions to exclude genes for selection candidates responsible for QTL-associated traits. For example, 152 of the 185 genes could be excluded from a syntenic A2–C2 region. 7Nitrogen-doped hierarchical porous carbon from polyaniline/silica self-aggregates for supercapacitor显示文摘In this paper, nitrogen-doped hierarchical porous carbon(N-HPC) was prepared from polyaniline(PANI)/silica self-aggregates. H-bonding between N\\H groups in aniline/PANI and \\OH groups in nano silica template led to a self-assembly type, which enabled the formation of uniform N-HPC nanoparticles. Silica self-aggregates provided macroporous channels resulted in a decreased diffusion distance. After removing the hard template,the N-HPC had a high surface area(899 m^2·g^(-1)). Owing to two co-existed synergetic energy-storage mechanisms and the hierarchical porous structure, the obtained N-HPC exhibited a high specific capacitance of 218.75 F·g^(-1) at 0.5 A·g^(-1), compared with the nonporous nitrogen-doped carbon(N-C) derived from pure PANI. 8Study on the Carry Capacity of Edible Jellyfish Fishery in Liaodong Bay显示文摘Jellyfish fishing is a special type of fishery that mainly exists in some countries of East and Southeast Asia. China has the largest jellyfish fishery yield in the world with an annual harvest of around 300 thousand tons. Liaodong Bay is the most important jellyfish fishery ground in China. However, due to the high benefits of jellyfish fishery, which leads to illegal and out-of-season jellyfish fishing occurring each year in Liaodong Bay. Illegal jellyfish fishery in Liaodong Bay is a typical example of the tragedy of the commons. The key problem is that fishermen seek to an illegally initiate jellyfish fishing as early as possible. In this paper, basing on the data of edible jellyfish's biology and ecology, we mainly analyzed the history of jellyfish fishery in China, especially in Liaodong bay, and then we calculated the carry capacity of edible jellyfish in Liaodong Bay which is about 300 thousand tons one year. This number is equal to the recent annual yield of edible jellyfish in China. Furthermore, basing on the carry capacity and reasonable quotas price analysis, we set up a Jellyfish fishing quotas and deficit quotas buyback system which could be a suitable and effective solution for jellyfish fishery management and development in Liaodong Bay at the underlying roots. Although China is the first country with edible jellyfish aquaculture, the annual yield of jellyfish aquaculture is only one fifth of jellyfish fishing. 14Rho 1 participates in parasitoid wasp eggs maturation and host cellular immunity inhibition显示文摘Endoparasitoid wasps introduce venom into their host insects during the egglaying stage.Venom proteins play various roles in the host physiology,development,immunity,and behavior manipulation and regulation.In this study,we identified a venom protein,MmRhol,a small guanine nucleotide-binding protein derived from ovary in the endoparasitoid wasp Microplitis mediator and found that knockdown of its expression by RNA interference caused down-regulation of vitellogenin and juvenile hormone,egg production,and cocoons formation in the female wasps.We demonstrated that MmRho1 entered the cotton bollworm's(host)hemocytes and suppressed cellular immune responses after parasitism using immunofluorescence staining.Furthermore,wasp MmRhol interacted with the cotton bollworm's actin cytoskeleton rearrangement regulator diaphanous by yeast 2-hybrid and glutathione s-transferase pull-down.In conclusion,this study indicates that MmRho1 plays dual roles in wasp development and the suppression of the host insect cellular immune responses.Ruijuan Wang Zhe Lin Lizhen Zhou Caihua Chen Xianhao Yu Junje Zhang Zhen Zou Zhiqiang Lu 2023Insect Science2023,30,3:1

17A Preliminary Study on the Diversity of Fish Species and Marine Fish Faunas of the South China Sea显示文摘There are 3048 species of fish occurring in the China Seas (CS), of which at least 2321 species are found in the South China Sea (SCS), belonging to 35 orders, 236 families and 822 genera. The fish species diversity is analyzed in this paper based on biogeography, biostatistics, fishing methods, etc. It is found that the regional environment, especially biological factors, plays an important role in the distribution of faunas, and there are two fish faunas in the SCS, one in the north and another in the center and south. This regional division is of value for sustainable fishery production and efficient management of fishery resources.MA. 20Engineered macrophage-biomimetic versatile nanoantidotes for inflammation-targeted therapy against Alzheimer’s disease by neurotoxin neutralization and immune recognition suppression显示文摘Immune recognition of excessive neurotoxins by microglia is a trigger for the onset of neuroinflammation in the brain,leading to neurodegeneration in Alzheimer’s disease(AD).Blocking active recognition of microglia while removing neurotoxins holds promise for fundamentally alleviating neurotoxin-induced immune responses,but is very challenging.Herein,an engineered macrophage-biomimetic versatile nanoantidote(OT-Lipo@M)is developed for inflammation-targeted therapy against AD by neurotoxin neutralization and immune recognition suppression.Coating macrophage membranes can not only endow OT-Lipo@M with anti-phagocytic and inflammation-tropism capabilities to target inflammatory lesions in AD brain,but also efficiently reduce neurotoxin levels to prevent them from activating microglia.The loaded oxytocin(OT)can be slowly released to downregulate the expression of immune recognition site Toll-like receptor 4(TLR4)on microglia,inhibiting TLR4-mediated pro-inflammatory signalling cascade.Benefiting from this two-pronged immunosuppressive strategy,OT-Lipo@M exhibits outstanding therapeutic effects on ameliorating cognitive deficits,inhibiting neuronal apoptosis,and enhancing synaptic plasticity in AD mice,accompanied by the delayed hippocampal atrophy and brain microstructural disruption by in vivo 9.4T MR imaging.This work provides new insights into potential AD therapeutics targeting microglia-mediated neuroinflammation at the source.Meng Cheng Caihua Ye Chunxiao Tian Dongju Zhao Haonan Li Zuhao Sun Yuyang Miao Qiang Zhang Junping Wang Yan Dou 2023Bioactive Materials2023,,8:1
