1Geochemistry and Zircon U–Pb age of the Yao'an pseudoleucite porphyry,Yunnan Province,China显示文摘The Yao'an Pb–Ag deposit, located in the Chuxiong Basin, western Yangtze Block, is an important component of the Jinshajiang–Ailaoshan alkaline porphyry–related polymetallic intrusive belt. This complex suite of rock bodies includes a vein of pseudoleucite porphyry within deposits of syenite porphyry and trachyte.The pseudoleucite is characterized by a variable greyish,greyish-white, and greyish-green porphyritic texture. Phenocrysts are mainly pseudoleucite with small amounts of alkali feldspar and biotite. In an intense event, leucite phenocrysts altered to orthoclase, kaolinite, and quartz.Both the pseudoleucite porphyry and the syenite porphyry samples were typical alkali-rich, K-rich, al-rich rocks with high LaN/YbNratios; enriched in light rare earth elements and large-ion lithophile elements, and depleted in high field strength elements; and with strongly negative Ta, Nb, and Ti(TNT) anomalies and slightly negative Eu anomalies—all characteristics of subduction-zone mantle-derived rock.We obtained a LA-ICP-MS zircon U–Pb age of 34.1 ± 0.3 Ma(MSWD = 2.4), which is younger than the established age of the Indian and Eurasian Plate collision.The magma derived from a Type-II enriched mantle formed in a post-collisional plate tectonic setting. 2Crystallization and Corrosion Resistance of (Fe_(0.78)Si_(0.09)B_(0.13))100_(-x)Ni_x (x=0,2 and 5) Glassy Alloys显示文摘The crystallization of the (Fe0.78Si_(0.09)B0.13)100-xNix glassy alloys (x=0, 2 and 5) has been investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and differential scanning calorimeter (DSC). Corrosion resistance analyses have been carried out using electrochemical measurements and corrosion products have been analyzed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The experimental results show that the addition of Ni can promote the nucleation of α-Fe, retard the decomposition of the metastable borides, and alter the crystallization mode of the present Fe-based glassy alloys. The lattice constant (a0Fe) of α-Fe in the annealed samples shows a decreasing trend with increasing annealing time. The Ni addition can improve the corrosion resistance of the as-quenched Fe-based glassy alloys in H2SO4, NaCl and NaOH solutions. 3Prevalence of Opportunistic Pathogens and Diversity of Microbial Communities in the Water System of a Pulmonary Hospital显示文摘Objective Our objective was to investigate the occurrence of opportunistic pathogens and characterize the bacterial community structures in the water system of a pulmonary hospital.Methods The water samples were collected from automatic and manual faucets in the consulting room,treatment room,dressing room,respiratory ward,and other non-medical rooms in three buildings of the hospital.Quantitative polymerase chain reaction was used to quantify the load of several waterborne opportunistic pathogens and related microorganisms,including Legionella spp.,Mycobacterium spp.,and M.avium.Illumina sequencing targeting 16 S r RNA genes was performed to profile bacterial communities.Results The occurrence rates of Legionella spp.,Mycobacterium spp.,and M.avium were 100%,100%,and 76%,respectively in all samples.Higher occurrence rates of M.avium were observed in the outpatient service building(building 1,91.7%)and respiration department and wards(building 2,80%)than in the office building(building 3),where no M.avium was found.M.avium were more abundant in automatic faucets(average 2.21×10~4 gene copies/L)than in manual faucets(average 1.03×10~4 gene copies/m L)(P<0.01).Proteobacteria,Actinobacteria,Bacteroidetes,Cyanobacteria,Firmicutes,and Acidobacteria were the dominant bacterial phyla.Disinfectant residuals,nitrate,and temperature were found to be the key environmental factors driving microbial community structure shifts in water systems.Conclusion This study revealed a high level of colonization of water faucets by opportunistic pathogens and provided insight into the characteristics of microbial communities in a hospital water system and approaches to reduce risks of microbial contamination.TANG Wei MAO Yu LI Qiu Yan MENG Die CHEN Ling WANG Hong ZHU Ren ZHANG Wei Xian 2020Biomedical and Environmental Sciences2020,33,4:3
4The design and synthesis of dextran-doxorubicin prodrug-based pH-sensitive drug delivery system for improving chemotherapy efficacy显示文摘Tumor cells show acidic conditions compared with normal cells,which further inspires scientist to build nanocarrier responsive to tumor microenvironment(TME)for enhancing tumor therapeutic efficacy.Here,we report a pH-sensitive and biocompatible polyprodrug based on dextran-doxorubicin(DOX)prodrug(DOXDT)for enhanced chemotherapy.Highdensity DOX component was covalently decorated on the nanocarrier and the drug molecules could be effectively released in the acidic tumor tissue/cells,improving chemotherapy efficacy.Specifically,a dextran-based copolymer was preliminarily prepared by one-step atom transfer radical polymerization(ATRP);then DOX was conjugated on the copolymer component via pH-responsive hydrazone bond.The structure of DOXDT can be well-controlled.The resulting DOXDT was able to further self-assemble into nanoscale micelles with a hydration diameter of about 32.4 nm,which presented excellent micellar stability.Compared to lipid-based drug delivery system,the DOXDT prodrug showed higher drug load capacity up to 23.6%.In addition,excellent stability and smaller size of the nanocarrier contributed to better tissue permeability and tumor suppressive effects in vivo.Hence,this amphipathic DOXDT prodrug is promising in the development of translational DOX formulations,which would be widely applied in cancer therapy.Xiaoli Zhang Tian Zhang Xianbin Ma Yajun Wang Yi Lu Die Jia Xiaohua Huang Jiucun Chen Zhigang Xu Feiqiu Wena 2020Asian Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences2020,15,5:3

6Dynamics of the charged particles released from a Sun-grazing comet in the solar corona显示文摘The sun-grazing comet C/2011 W3(Lovejoy)showed a distorted,unconventional tail morphology near its perihelion(1.2Rs).Based on the“Solar Corona and Inner Heliosphere”modeling result of the magnetic field and plasma dynamics in the solar corona,we use the Runge-Kutta method to simulate the moving trajectory of charged dust and ion particles released at different positions from the C/2011 W3 orbit.We find that the dust particles near the sun,which are subject to a strong magnetic Lorentz force,travel differently from their counterparts distant from the sun,where the latter are mainly affected by the solar gravitational force and radiation pressure.According to the simulation results,we propose that the magnetic mirror effect can rebound the charged dust particles back away from the sun and be regarded as one crucial cause of the dust-free zone formation.We find that ions mainly move along magnetic field lines at an acute angle to the comet's direction of motion.The cometary ions'movement direction was determined by the comet's velocity and the coronal magnetic field,which are responsible for the C/2011 W3’s unique comet tail shape near perihelion.Additionally,the ion particles also experience perpendicular drift motion,mainly dominated by the electric field drift,which is similar to and can be used to approximate the solar wind's transverse velocity at its source region.ChuanPeng Hou JianSen He Lei Zhang Ying Wang Die Duan 2021Earth and Planetary Physics2021,5,3:2

8Construction of homozygous diploid potato through maternal haploid induction显示文摘Reinventing the tetraploid potato into a seed-propagated,diploid,hybrid potato would significantly accelerate potato breeding.In this regard,the development of highly homozygous inbred lines is a prerequisite for breeding hybrid potatoes,but self-incompatibility and inbreeding depression present challenges for developing pure inbred lines.To resolve this impediment,we developed a doubled haploid(DH)technology,based on mutagenesis of the potato DOMAIN OF UNKNOWN FUNCTION 679 membrane protein(StDMP)gene.Here,we show that a deficiency in StDMP allows the generation of maternal haploids for generating diploid potato lines.An exercisable protocol,involving hybridization,fluorescent marker screening,molecular and flow cytometric identification,and doubling with colchicine generates nearly 100%homozygous diploid potato lines.This dmp-triggered haploid induction(HI)system greatly shortens the breeding process and offers a robust method for generating diploid potato inbred lines with high purity.Jinzhe Zhang Jian Yin Jiayi Luo Die Tang Xijian Zhu Jie Wang Zhihong Liu Pei Wang Yu Zhong Chenxu Liu Canhui Li Shaojiang Chen Sanwen Huang 2022aBIOTECH2022,3,3:2
9Asymmetries of Positive Feedback Trading in Individual Stocks:Evidences from China显示文摘The paper investigates the positive feedback trading phenomenon of individual stocks in China’s stock market.Heterogeneous regression models and a non-parametric Sentana-Wadhwani model are developed and applied to prove the existence of rise-favor asymmetric feedback trading.This result is consistent with the reality of China’s stock market,that is,the herding behavior of irrational retail investors has a significant influence on the market.However,the result is in contrast with the stylized findings using market indices.Further empirical research shows that this distinction could be explained by the average effect of indices.The asymmetries of positive feedback trading caused by heterogeneous feedback trading and the uneven distributed retail trading in individual stocks,are covered by the weighted average effect in indices.Therefore,the indices exhibit a different asymmetric pattern from that of individual stocks.Die Wan Weiyi Liu Junbo Wang Xiaoguang Yang 2016Journal of Management Science and Engineering2016,1,1:2

11Dual-active-site Fe/Cu single-atom nanozymes with multifunctional specific peroxidase-like properties for S^(2-)detection and dye degradation显示文摘Designing single-atom nanozymes with densely exposed metal atom active sites and enhancing catalytic activity to detect pollutants remain a serious challenge.Herein,we reported a single-atom nanozyme with layered stacked Fe/Cu dual active sites(Fe/Cu-NC SAzyme)synthesized via hydrothermal and hightemperature pyrolysis using folic acid as a template.Compared with Fe-NC and Cu-NC SAzyme,Fe/Cu-NC SAzyme has higher peroxidase-like activity,which indicates that the doping of synthesized Fe/Cu bimetals can improve the catalytic activity and that the atomic loading of Fe and Cu in Fe/Cu-NC is 5.5 wt%and 2.27 wt%,respectively.When S^(2-)is added to the Fe/Cu-NC catalytic system,a high-sensitivity and high-selectivity S^(2-)colorimetric sensing platform can be established,with a wide linear range(0.09-6μmol/L)and a low detection limit(30 nmol/L),which can be used to detect S^(2-)in environmental water samples.What’s more,the Fe/Cu-NC SAzyme can activate peroxymonosulfate(PMS)to degrade 99.9%of rhodamine B(Rh B)within 10 min with a degradation kinetics of 0.5943 min^(-1).This work details attractive applications in Fe/Cu-NC SAzyme colorimetric sensing and dye degradation.Xiaofang Chen Ya Wang Min Feng Die Deng Xiaoyi Xie Caixia Deng Kashif Nawaz Khattak Xiupei Yang 2023Chinese Chemical Letters2023,34,6:1
12PKD3 promotes metastasis and growth of oral squamous cell carcinoma through positive feedback regulation with PD-L1 and activation of ERK-STAT1/3-EMT signalling显示文摘Oral squamous cell carcinoma(OSCC)has a high incidence of metastasis.Tumour immunotherapy targeting PD-L1 or PD-1 has been revolutionary;however,only a few patients with OSCC respond to this treatment.Therefore,it is essential to gain insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying the growth and metastasis of OSCC.In this study,we analysed the expression levels of protein kinase D3(PKD3)and PD-L1 and their correlation with the expression of mesenchymal and epithelial markers.We found that the expression of PKD3 and PD-L1 in OSCC cells and tissues was significantly increased,which correlated positively with that of mesenchymal markers but negatively with that of epithelial markers.Silencing PKD3 significantly inhibited the growth,metastasis and invasion of OSCC cells,while its overexpression promoted these processes.Our further analyses revealed that there was positive feedback regulation between PKD3 and PD-L1,which could drive EMT of OSCC cells via the ERK/STAT1/3 pathway,thereby promoting tumour growth and metastasis.Furthermore,silencing PKD3 significantly inhibited the expression of PD-L1,and lymph node metastasis of OSCC was investigated with a mouse footpad xenograft model.Thus,our findings provide a theoretical basis for targeting PKD3 as an alternative method to block EMT for regulating PD-L1 expression and inhibiting OSCC growth and metastasis.Bomiao Cui Jiao Chen Min Luo Yiying Liu Hongli Chen Die Lü Liwei Wang Yingzhu Kang Yun Feng Libin Huang Ping Zhang 2021International Journal of Oral Science2021,13,1:1
13Effect of Xiaochuanping powder on the inflammatory response and airway remodeling in asthmatic rats显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To observe the effect of Xiaochuanping powder(XP), a traditional Chinese prescription for the treatment of cough and asthma, on serum concentrations of eosinophil cationic protein(ECP), tumor necrosis factor(TNF)-α, and interleukin(IL)-4, eosinophil counts, as well as expression of matrix metalloproteinase(MMP)-9, tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinase(TIMP)-1 in the lung tissues of asthmatic rats.METHODS: Sixty clean-grade Sprague-Dawley rats were divided randomly into six groups: normal control(NC), asthma model, Guilong Kechuanning(GK)group, as well as high-, intermediate-, and lowdose XP groups. Rats were sensitized with ovalbumin(OVA) to trigger asthma. Serum concentrations of ECP, TNF-α and IL-4, eosinophil counts, as well as expression of MMP-9 and TIMP-1 in lung tissues were evaluated using an immunofluorescence method. m RNA expression of MMP-9 and TIMP-1 was determined using real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction.RESULTS: Compared with the asthma-model group, serum concentrations of ECP, TNF-α, and IL-4, and eosinophil counts decreased significantly in the high-and intermediate-dose XP groups and GK group(all P < 0.01). Protein expression of MMP-9 and TIMP-1 decreased significantly in the high-and intermediate-dose XP groups and GK group(all P < 0.01). Transcription of MMP-9 and TIMP-1 m RNA and the ratio of expression of MMP-9: TIMP-1 in lung tissue were significantly lower(P < 0.01).CONCLUSION: XP can reduce TNF-α secretion, suppress the infiltration/activation of eosinophils, reduce serum concentrations of ECP and IL-4, reduce the protein and m RNA expression of MMP-9 and TIMP-1 in lung tissue, and regulate the balance between expression of MMP-9 and TIMP-1. 16Associations of lens thickness and axial length with outcomes of laser peripheral iridotomy显示文摘AIM:To investigate the association of axial length(AL),lens thickness(LT),and lens vault(LV)with postoperative anterior chamber angle metrics after laser peripheral iridotomy(LPI).METHODS:Prospective observational study of 69 patients(97 eyes)were diagnosed as primary angle-closure suspect(PACS),primary angle closure(PAC)or primary angle-closure glaucoma(PACG).AL,LT,anterior central chamber depth(ACD),angle opening distance(AOD),trabecular iris angle(TIA),and angle recess area(ARA)were measured before and 1 wk after LPI.The association between AL,LT,LV with ACD,AOD,TIA,ARA were analyzed by comparing the differences between preoperative and postoperative measurements for anterior segment biometric parameters.RESULTS:ACD,AOD,TIA,and ARA were significantly increased after LPI(all P<0.05).Greater LT was significantly associated with greater postoperative increases in ACD,AOD,TIA,and ARA(all P<0.05).AL was not significantly associated with changes of anterior segment biometric parameters.Greater LV was significantly associated with greater postoperative increases in ACD,AOD,and TIA(all P<0.05),but was not significantly associated with changes of ARA.CONCLUSION:Greater baseline LT and LV measurements are associated with greater increases in anterior segment biometric parameters after laser peripheral iridotomy.AL are not associated with the change of anterior segment biometric parameters.Ya-Meng Liu Die Hu Long-Fang Zhou Jie Lan Cheng-Cheng Feng Xiao-Yun Wang Xiao-Jing Pan 2021International Journal of Ophthalmology(English edition)2021,14,5:1
