| 1 | Perfecting and extending the near-infrared imaging window显示文摘In vivo fluorescence imaging in the second near-infrared window(NIR-II)has been considered as a promising technique for visualizing mammals.However,the definition of the NIR-II region and the mechanism accounting for the excellent performance still need to be perfected.Herein,we simulate the photon propagation in the NIR region(to 2340 nm),confirm the positive contribution of moderate light absorption by water in intravital imaging and perfect the NIR-II window as 900–1880 nm,where 1400–1500 and 1700–1880 nm are defined as NIR-IIx and NIR-IIc regions,respectively.Moreover,2080–2340 nm is newly proposed as the third near-infrared(NIR-III)window,which is believed to provide the best imaging quality.The wide-field fluorescence microscopy in the brain is performed around the NIRIIx region,with excellent optical sectioning strength and the largest imaging depth of intravital NIR-II fluorescence microscopy to date.We also propose 1400 nm long-pass detection in off-peak NIR-II imaging whose performance exceeds that of NIR-IIb imaging,using bright fluorophores with short emission wavelength. | Zhe Feng Tao Tang Tianxiang Wu Xiaoming Yu Yuhuang Zhang Meng Wang Junyan Zheng Yanyun Ying Siyi Chen Jing Zhou Xiaoxiao Fan Dan Zhang Shengliang Li Mingxi Zhang Jun Qian | 2021 | Light(Science & Applications)2021,10,10: | 4 |
| 2 | A current-mode RF transmitter for 6–9 GHz MB-OFDM UWB application显示文摘This paper presents a current-mode 6–9 GHz RF transmitter for MB-OFDM UWB systems. The proposed current-mode transmitter consists of current-mode IQ LPF, current mirror amplifier, IQ up-conversion mixer (up-mixer), differential power driver amplifier (PA) and high-speed divider with LO buffers for generating IQ LO signals. All circuits are designed to possess high linearity and wide bandwidth. The transmitter is fabricated in TSMC 0.13 μm 1P8M RF CMOS technology with a die area of 1.56 mm2. | 3 | Efficacy of self-made Gengnian decoction on phosphatidylinositol 3-kinases/protein kinase B/mammalian target of rapamycin signaling pathway in perimenopausal rats显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To investigate the efficacy of self-made Gengnian decoction on expressions of phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase(PI3 K),protein kinase B(Akt)and mammalian target of rapamycin(m TOR)in ovarian tissues of perimenopausal rats.They were identified with symptom pattern of kidney-Yang deficiency in terms of Traditional Chinese Medicine.METHODS:Female Sprague-Dawley rats aged10-12 months were selected.Estrous cycle was observed by vaginal smears of keratinocytes to screen the perimenopausal model rats.The chosen rats were randomly divided into five groups,including perimenopausal model of kidney-Yang deficiency group(24 rats),self-made Gengnian decoction of high-dose group(24 rats),self-made Gengnian decoction of middle-dose group(24 rats),self-made Gengnian decoction of low dose group(24 rats)and tibolone control group(24 rats).In addition,rats aged 4-6 months were selected as young control group.The perimenopausal model rats of kidney-Yang deficiency were prepared by alternative intramuscular injection of hydrocortisone 5 mg·kg^-1·d^-1The successfully prepared models in self-made Gengnian decoction of high-dose,middle-dose and low-dose groups and tibolone control group were given self-made Gengnian decoction 26.4,13.2 and 6.6 mg·kg^-1·d^-1,and tibolone tablets solvent 0.22 mg·kg^-1·d^-1,respectively,through intragastric administration.Models group and young control group were given the same dose of normal saline,1 time a day for 15 consecutive days.24 h after the last administration,blood and ovarian tissues were collected after anesthesia with 20%ethyl carbamate.The follicles of different levels in ovarian tissue were observed and counted by histopathological hematoxylin-eosin staining.Enzyme linked immunosorbent assay was applied to test insulin-like growth factor-1(IGF-1)level in the serum of experimental rats.The expression levels of PI3 K,phosphorylated-Akt(p-Akt)and phosphorylated-m TOR(p-m TOR)m RNA in ovarian tissue were detected by quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction.RESULTS:The total follicle counts of perimenopausal model rats with kidney-Yang deficiency were significantly reduced,and the number of follicles(mainly increased in preantral follicles and antral follicles)in perimenopausal model rats with kidney-Yang deficiency was significantly increased after intervention of high and middle doses of Gengnian decoction and tibolone(P<0.05).Compared with normal rats in young control group,the levels of IGF-1 in serum of perimenopausal rats with kidney-Yang deficiency were significantly decreased(P<0.01),and those intervened by high dose of Gengnian decoction and tibolone were significantly up-regulated.The relative expression levels of PI3 K,p-Akt,p-m TOR m RNA in ovarian tissues of perimenopausal rats with kidney-Yang deficiency were significantly lower than those of young rats(P<0.01),and those intervened by high dose of Gengnian decoction and tibolone were significantly up-regulated(P<0.05).CONCLUSION:Self-made Gengnian decoction can increase the levels of IGF-1,PI3 K,Akt and m TOR m RNA expression in serum. | Zhang Fan Cao Junyan Zhang Xin Wang Jing Yi Xu | 2019 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2019,39,6: | 1 |

| 10 | A monolithic K-band phase-locked loop for microwave radar application显示文摘A monolithic K-band phase-locked loop(PLL) for microwave radar application is proposed and implemented in this paper. By eliminating the tail transistor and using optimized high-Q LC-tank, the proposed voltage-controlled oscillator(VCO) achieves a tuning range of 18.4 to 23.3 GHz and reduced phase noise. Two cascaded current-mode logic(CML) divide-by-two frequency prescalers are implemented to bridge the frequency gap, in which inductor peaking technique is used in the first stage to further boost allowable input frequency.Six-stage TSPC divider chain is used to provide programmable division ratio from 64 to 127, and a second-order passive loop filter with 825 kHz bandwidth is also integrated on-chip to minimize required external components.The proposed PLL needs only approximately 18.2 μs settling time, and achieves a wide tuning range from 18.4 to 23.3 GHz, with a typical output power of –0.84 dBm and phase noise of 91:92 d Bc/Hz @ 1 MHz. | 12 | Mongolia Contributed More than 42%of the Dust Concentrations in Northern China in March and April 2023显示文摘Dust storms are one of the most frequent meteorological disasters in China,endangering agricultural production,transportation,air quality,and the safety of people’s lives and property.Against the backdrop of climate change,Mongolia’s contribution to China’s dust cannot be ignored in recent years.In this study,we used the Weather Research and Forecasting model coupled with Chemistry(WRF-Chem),along with dynamic dust sources and the HYSPLIT model,to analyze the contributions of different dust sources to dust concentrations in northern China in March and April 2023.The results show that the frequency of dust storms in 2023 was the highest observed in the past decade.Mongolia and the Taklimakan Desert were identified as two main dust sources contributing to northern China.Specifically,Mongolia contributed more than 42%of dust,while the Taklimakan Desert accounted for 26%.A cold high-pressure center,a cold front,and a Mongolian cyclone resulted in the transport of dust aerosols from Mongolia and the Taklimakan Desert to northern China,where they affected most parts of the region.Moreover,two machine learning methods[the XGBoost algorithm and the Synthetic Minority Oversampling Technique(SMOTE)]were used to forecast the dust storms in March 2023,based on ground observations and WRF-Chem simulations over East Asia.XGBoost-SMOTE performed well in predicting hourly PM10 concentrations in China in March 2023,with a mean absolute error of 33.8μg m−3 and RMSE of 54.2μg m−3. | Siyu CHEN Dan ZHAO Jianping HUANG Jiaqi HE Yu CHEN Junyan CHEN Hongru BI Gaotong LOU Shikang DU Yue ZHANG Fan YANG | 2023 | Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2023,40,9: | 0 |
