1Curative effect of acupuncture on quality of life in patient with depression: a clinical randomized single-blind placebo-controlled study显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the effect of acupuncture on the quality of life in patients with depression by clinical randomized single-blind placebo-controlled study.METHODS:one hundred and sixty-three cases of depression according with the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into a group of acupuncture dredging liver and regulating flow of theosophy(group 1),a group of acupoint shallow stab(group 2)and a group of non-acupoint shallow stab(group 3)at 1∶1∶1 ratio,and treated with acu-puncture,moxibustion,and intradermal embedding of needle,twice a week,for a total of 12 weeks.Scale of Quality of Life(SF-36)was used to measure the scores at four different time points and evaluate the effect of acupuncture on the quality of life of the patients with depression.RESULTS:At each time point after treatment,in scores of the 8 items,physical function,physical role,bodily pain,general physical condition,energy,social function,emotional function and mental health there were statistically significant differences among the 3 groups(P<0.0125).CONCLUSION:Acupuncture can effectively improve the quality of life of patients with depression.Fan Ling Fu Wenbin Chen Zhao Xu Nenggui Liu Jianhua LǚAiping Li Ziping Su Shengyong Wu Taixiang Ou Aihua 2016Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2016,36,2:12
2Baculovirus-mediated expression of a Chinese scorpion neurotoxin improves insecticidal efficacy显示文摘An Buthus martensii Karsch Insect Toxin (BmK IT ) gene was inserted into the genome of Autographa californica multicapsid nucleopolyhedrovirus (AcMNPV) to construct a recombinant baculovirus, AcMNPV-BmK IT. The expression of BmK IT was confirmed using RT-PCR, dot blot and SDS-PAGE analysis. Dose-lethal time responses to Spodoptera exigua larvae were compared between wild-type baculovirus AcMNPV and recombinant virus AcMNPV-BmK IT. 3Comprehensive analysis of CBM recovery in high rank coal reservoir of Jincheng area显示文摘Coalbed methane (CBM) predicting recovery in high rank coal reservoir varies greatly in Jincheng area and it seriously influences efficient and economic exploitation of CBM resource. In order to predict more accurate CBM recovery, we conducted history matching and productivity prediction of vertical well by using COMET 3 reservoir modeling software, innovatively adopted the gas desorption experiment of bulk coal at fixed test pressure, analyzed the recovery extent method of Daning multiple-hole horizontal well and Panzhuang well group, and calculated recovery by sorption isotherm method of 14 vertical CBM wells at the abandonment pressures 1.0, 0.7, 0.5 and 0.3 MPa, respectively. The results show that the reservoir simulation methods (numerical simulation method and the recovery extent method) is more reliable than the theoretical analysis of coal sample (sorption isotherm method and desorption experiment method). Also, desorption experiment method at fixed pressure is superior to sorption isotherm method. Through the comprehensive analysis and linear correction, CBM recovery ratios in high rank coal reservoir of Jincheng area were found to be 38.64%, 49.30%, 59.30%, and 69.20% at the abandonment pressures 1.0, 0.7, 0.5 and 0.3 MPa, respectively. 4Preparation of bioactive glasses with controllable degradation behavior and their bioactive characterization显示文摘Bioactive glasses and ceramics have been widely investigated for bone repair because of their excel-lent bioactive characteristics. However, these biomaterials undergo incomplete conversion into a bone-like material, which severely limits their biomedical application. In this paper, borosilicate bioac-tive glasses were prepared by traditional melting process. The results showed that borosilicate glasses possessed high biocompatibility and bioactivity. In addition, when immersed in a 0.02 mol/L K2HPO4 solution, particles of a borate glass were fully converted to HA. The desirable conversion rate to HA may be achieved through the adjustment of the B2O3/SiO2 ratio. The results of XRD and FTIR analysis indicated that the degradation product was carbonate-substituted hydroxyapatite, which was similar to the inorganic component of bone.YAO AiHua WANG DePing FU Qiang HUANG WenHai Mohamed N. 5Soil fungal community is more sensitive to nitrogen deposition than increased rainfall in a mixed deciduous forest of China显示文摘Nitrogen(N)deposition and intensified rainfall can strongly affect soil microbial community,but compared with available studies on bacteria,those on soil fungi are quite limited.Here we carried out a field experiment in a mixed deciduous forest of China to study the influences of increased N deposition and rainfall on soil fungi by using quantitative PCR and high-throughput sequencing method.The results demonstrated that(1)N addition significantly increased fungal abundance and alpha diversity(richness,Shannon index and Invsimpson index),changed fungal community composition at OTU level,and marginally increased the relative abundance of Ascomycota and Zygomycota,while water addition showed no remarkable effects on fungal abundance,biodiversity and community composition.(2)N addition significantly increased the richness of saprotrophic fungi and pathogenic fungi,and the relative abundance of saprotrophic fungi,but water addition only slightly increased the abundance of pathogenic fungi.(3)Fungal composition dissimilarity closely correlated with the disparity of soil parameters as a whole.Soil NH_(4)^(+)-N exhibited strong positive correlation with the richness of pathogenic fungi and mycorrhizal fungi,while both soil moisture and NH_(4)^(+)-N tightly correlated with soil fungal abundance and alpha diversity indices.We concluded that in this N-limited but non-water-limited forest ecosystem,N deposition posed stronger effects on soil fungi than increased rainfall,partially mediated by changes in soil properties.Aihua Zhao Lei Liu Baodong Chen Wei Fu Wei Xie Tianle Xu Wei Zhang Qing Ye Haiyan Feng Shenglei Fu 2020Soil Ecology Letters2020,2,1:5

7Security Risk Assessment of Cyber Physical Power System Based on Rough Set and Gene Expression Programming显示文摘Risk assessment is essential for the safe and reliable operation of cyber physical power system. Traditional security risk assessment methods do not take integration of cyber system and physical system of power grid into account. In order to solve this problem, security risk assessment algorithm of cyber physical power system based on rough set and gene expression programming is proposed. Firstly, fast attribution reduction based on binary search algorithm is presented. Secondly, security risk assessment function for cyber physical power system is mined based on gene expression programming. Lastly, security risk levels of cyber physical power system are predicted and analyzed by the above function model. 8Meta-analysis of 20 clinical,randomized,controlled trials of acupuncture for depression显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To determine the efficacy of acupuncture in the treatment of depression by performing systematical reviews and meta-analysis from 20 articles of clinical,randomized,controlled studies. DATA SOURCES:A computer-based online search of PubMed Database,Chinese Biological Medicine Database(VIP database) ,China Knowledge Database,and Wanfang Database was performed to search articles published between January 1999 and September 2009. DATA SELECTION:Inclusion criteria:articles published in official academic journals;articles with definite diagnostic criteria and acknowledgment;articles involving subjects with depression or depressive disorders,with no limitations to age,sex,or source;articles involving acupuncture-related therapies(including acupuncture needle,electro-acupuncture,moxibustion,abdominal acupuncture,etc.) as the primary means of intervention;articles of randomized controlled trials or involving 'randomized controlled','randomized grouping',or 'random'. Jadad scores were utilized to evaluate quality of included articles. Review Manage 4.2.7 software was used to evaluate efficacy of acupuncture in treating depression,and Hamilton Depression Rating Scale(HAMD) score,Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS) score,and meta-analysis were used to evaluate clinical efficacy. Meta-analysis of a fixed effect model was performed when P > 0.05 or P > 0.01 in the test for heterogeneity. Meta-analysis of the random effect model was performed when P ≤ 0.05. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES:Efficacy rate,HAMD scores,and SDS scores. RESULTS:Quality evaluation of the 20 selected clinical,randomized,controlled trials demonstrated baseline equilibrium and randomness,although a considerable number of randomized studies simply mentioned 'random' without describing a specific method. Therefore,the reliability of randomness was relatively low. An envelope to hide the information was not used,and proper blinding was difficult to implement due to the innate features of acupuncture. The follow-up rate was low,and reasons for dropout were not explored. Therefore,it was not possible to objectively evaluate the study results. In addition,the study did not estimate sample size;it was unclear whether the sample was truly representative of general characteristics. Meta-analysis showed that acupuncture monotherapy exhibited similar efficacy to Western medicine for treating depression:combined effect size OR = 1.66,95% CI:0.59-4.65,combined effect value test:Z = 0.97,P = 0.33. Comparison of the efficacy of acupuncture combination therapy with Western medicine demonstrated a combined effect size OR = 2.46,95% CI:1.64-3.71 and combined effect of the value of Z = 4.32(P < 0.01) ,implying that there was insufficient evidence to prove a superior effect of acupuncture combination therapy over Western medicine. In terms of HAMD and SDS scores,the weighted mean difference was-2.01 and-8.68,respectively,with 95% CI:-3.48 to 0.53,-11.21 to-6.16(P < 0.01) ,suggesting that acupuncture efficacy was significantly better than the control group. CONCLUSION:The efficacy of acupuncture monotherapy was similar to Western medicine for treating depression. 9Superhigh selective capture of volatile organic compounds exploiting cigarette butts-derived engineering carbonaceous adsorbent显示文摘Herein,we develop cost-efficient superhigh-performance of engineering carbonaceous adsorbent from cigarette butts using combined wet-impregnated and re-dispersed method of KOH,which optimizes the implant approach of activator,breaking the restriction of selective capture of toluene using traditional activated carbon.The Brunauer-Emmett-Teller(BET)surface area and pore volume of targeted adsorbent can attain 3088 m^(2)·g^(-1) and 1.61 cm^(3)·g^(-1),respectively,by optimizing the temperaturedependent synthetic factor effect of the adsorbent.The adsorption capacity of resultant adsorbent for presenting volatile benzene and toluene shows a positive correlation with increasing carbonization temperature of carbon precursor.Besides,we demonstrated the unsmoked and smoked butts derived adsorbents afford feeble difference in saturated adsorbed capacity of volatile organic compounds(VOCs).The highest adsorption capacity of sample CF-800 for benzene and toluene in CF group is as high as 1268.1 and 1181.6 mg·g^(-1) respectively,slightly higher than that of sample UF-800,but far outperforming reported other adsorbents.The predicted adsorption selectivity of CF-800 and UF-800 for C_(7)H_(8)/H_(2)O(g)using the DIH(difference of isosteric heats)equation reach up to ca.3800 and 7500 respectively,indicating the weak adsorbability of water vapor on the developed adsorbent and greater superiority of the smoked butts derived adsorbents in selective capture of VOCs at low relative humidity in the competitive adsorption process for practical mixed VOCs.Wenjian Zhu Xuhua Shen Rui Ou Manoj Murugesan Aihua Yuan Jianfeng Liu Xiaocai Hu Zhen Yang Ming Shen Fu Yang 2022Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2022,35,6:1

17Superb VOCs capture engineering carbon adsorbent derived from shaddock peel owning uncompromising thermal-stability and adsorption property显示文摘High applied thermal-stability and superior structural property for activated carbon adsorbent are extremely promising,which also is the determining short slab in volatile organic compounds(VOCs)adsorption applications.Herein,we develop the outstanding engineering carbon adsorbents from waste shaddock peel which affords greatly-enhanced thermal-stability and super structural property(S_(Lang)=4962.6 m2·g^(-1),Vmicro=1.67 cm^(3)·g^(-1)).Such character endows the obtained adsorbent with ultrahigh adsorption capture performance of VOCs specific to benzene(16.58 mmol·g^(-1))and toluene(15.50 mmol·g^(-1),far beyond traditional zeolite and activated carbon even MOFs materials.The structural expression characters were accurately correlated with excellent adsorption efficiency of VOCs by studying synthetic factor-controlling comparative samples.Ulteriorly,adsorption selectivity prediction at different relative humidity was demonstrated through DIH(difference of the isosteric heats),exceedingly highlighting great superiority(nearly sixfold)in selective adsorption of toluene compared to volatile benzene.Our findings provide the possibility for practical industrial application and fabrication of waste biomass-derived outstanding biochar adsorbent in the environmental treatment of threatening VOCs pollutants.Fu Yang Wenhao Li Rui Ou Yutong Lu Xuexue Dong Wenlong Tu Wenjian Zhu Xuyu Wang Lulu Li Aihua Yuan Jianming Pan 2022Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2022,35,7:1
18Relation between Cardiac Injury and Elevated Levels of Inflammatory Biomarkers in Patients with Severe COVID-19显示文摘Background:Since early December 2019,coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)has emerged as a global pandemic and public health crisis.This study aims to explore the relationship between cardiac injury and infl ammatory biomarkers in patients with severe COVID-19.Methods:We collected data on 91 patients with a confi rmed diagnosis of severe COVID-19 from February 8 to March 31,2020.Demographic characteristics,clinical data,and in-hospital outcomes were compared.The relationship between cardiac injury and infl ammatory biomarkers was analyzed.Logistic regression was used to explore the independent risk factors for cardiac injury.Results:The mean age of all patients was 61 years±14 years.About half of the patients were male.Hypertension and coronary heart disease were more common in the cardiac injury group.The levels of infl ammatory biomarkers in patients who experienced cardiac injury were generally higher than the levels of those without cardiac injury,including interleukin-6,interleukin-2 receptor(IL-2R),procalcitonin,and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein.There were positive correlations between the levels of high-sensitivity troponin I and N-terminal prohormone of brain natriuretic peptide and the levels of infl ammatory biomarkers.Logistic regression shows that IL-2R(odds ratio 1.001,95%confi dence interval 1.000–1.002,P=0.045)and comorbidities(odds ratio 4.909,95%confi dence interval 1.231–19.579,P=0.024)are independent risk factors for cardiac injury in patients with severe COVID-19.Conclusion:High levels of infl ammatory biomarkers are associated with higher risk of cardiac injury in patients with severe COVID-19.IL-2R and comorbidities are predictors of cardiac injury.Jing Li Lijie Sun Fang Wang Bing Liu Hui Li Guodong Tang Zhigang Chang Aihua Liu Chunyi Fu You Lv Jing Gao Jing Li 2021Cardiovascular Innovations and Applications2021,,1:0
19In vitro bioactivity and cytocompatibility of porous scaffolds of bioactive borosilicate glasses显示文摘The bioactive borosilicate scaffolds (R2O-RO-B2O3-SiO2-P2O5) with four different contents of borate were fabricated by replication technique. The bioactivity, degradability and the cytotoxicity of the scaffolds were studied in this paper. The porosity of the scaffolds was found to be 73%―80%, and the pore size was in the range of 200―300 μm. The porous scaffolds immersed in 0.02 mol·L-1 K2HPO4 solution were transformed into hydroxyapatite. And it is notable that the D-Alk-2B, D-Alk-3B-scaffolds were covered by hydroxyapatite layers after 7 h-immersion, which proved their high bioactivity. In the cell adhesion test, cells could be seen growing well on the scaffolds, showing stretched morphology and obvious pseudopodia, and only the high cumulative concentration of B ions released from the D-Alk-3B-scaffold samples had an inhibition effect on cell proliferation. But the inhibition effect could be alleviated by diluting the extract solution to a certain concentration (dilution ratio: 1:8). 20Enabling tandem oxidation of benzene to benzenediol over integrated neighboring V-Cu oxides in mesoporous silica显示文摘The direct tandem oxidation synthesis of benzenediol from benzene could simplify or even avoid the separation and purification of reaction intermediates, which is promising but challenged because of the further required immediate consecutive activation of intermediate phenol. In this work, a synergistic benzene tandem-oxidation catalyst that V-Cu bimetallic oxides modified nanoporous silica(VCu-NS)was constructed via a facile assembly strategy which involves addictive negative anion citric acid mediating the intercalation of metal-citric acid chelate in mesopore of silica and subsequent thermal calcination inducing dual-metal active site formation. Such a tactic could make amorphous VOxspecies well covered on the surface of mesopore, and ultrafine copper oxide particles surrounded and neighbored by highly dispersed VOxwith strong interplay in mesopore, which was comprehensively confirmed by various characterizations. Benefiting from the unique V-Cu neighboring effect, the desorption of formed phenol over the catalytic site might be restricted therefore easily further activated by the formed reactive oxidative species, 3VCu-NS shows synergetic tandem-oxidation catalytic activities for benzene towards benzenediol with a selectivity of 57%.
