1Microbiota transplantation reveals beneficial impact of berberine on hepatotoxicity by improving gut homeostasis显示文摘Berberine has been shown to reduce acute liver injury although the underlying mechanism is not fully understood. Because of the anatomic connection, the liver is constantly exposed to gut-derived bacterial products and metabolites. In this study, we showed that berberine has beneficial effects on both hepatotoxicity and intestinal damage in a rat model of chronic or acute liver injury. Microbiota transplantation from the rats with chronic hepatotoxicity could aggravate acute hepatotoxicity in mice treated with diethylnitrosamine(DEN). In rat models with gut homeostasis disruption induced by penicillin or dextran sulfate sodium(DSS), their fecal microbiota could also cause an enhanced hepatotoxicity of recipient mice. When treated with berberine,the DSS-induced enteric dysbacteriosis could be mitigated and their fecal bacteria were able to reduce acute hepatotoxicity in recipient mice. This study indicates that berberine could improve intestinal dysbacteriosis, which reduces the hepatotoxicity caused by pathological or pharmacological intervention. 2Artificial frozen orbit control scheme based on J_2 perturbation显示文摘Since the inclination of frozen orbit with non-rotation of the perigee that occurs due to J2 perturbation must be equal to the critical inclination, this regulation has restricted the application of frozen orbit a lot. In this paper, we propose two control strategies to eliminate the secular growth of the argument of the perigee for orbits that are not at the critical inclination. One control strategy is using transverse continuous low-thrust, and the other is using both the transverse and the radial continuous low-thrusts. Fuel optimization in the second control strategy is addressed to make sure that the fuel consumption is the minimum. Both strategies have no effect on other orbital parameters’ secular motion. It is proved that the strategy with transverse control could save more energy than the one with radial control. 3Conversion of hepatoma cells to hepatocyte-like cells by defined hepatocyte nuclear factors显示文摘Normal cells become cancer cells after a malignant transformation,but whether cancer cells can be reversed to normal status remains elusive.Here,we report that the combination of hepatocyte nuclear factor IA (HNFIA),HNF4A and forkhead box protein A3 (FOXA3)synergistically reprograms hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC)cells to hepatocyte-like cells (reprogrammed hepatocytes, rHeps).Our results show that rHeps lose the malignant phenotypes of cancer cells and retrieve hepatocyte-specific characteristics including hepatocyte-like morphology;global expression pattern of genes and specific biomarkers of hepatocytes;and the unique hepatic functions of albumin (ALB)secretion,glycogen synthesis,low-density lipoprotein (LDL)uptake,urea production, cytochrome P450 enzymes induction and drug metabolism.Intratumoral injection of these three factors efficiently shrank patientderived tumor xenografts and reprogrammed HCC cells in vivo.Most importantly,transplantation of rHeps in the liver of fumarylacetoacetate hydrolase-deficient (Fah^-/-)mice led to the reconstruction of hepatic lobules and the restoration of hepatic function.Mechanistically,exogenous expression of HNF1A,HNF4A and FOXA3 in HCC cells initiated the endogenous expression of numerous hepatocyte nuclear factors,which promoted the conversion of HCC cells to hepatocyte-like cells.Collectively,our results indicate the successful conversion of hepatoma cells to hepatocyte-like cells,not only extending our current knowledge of cell reprogramming but also providing a route towards a novel therapeutic strategy for cancer.Zhuo Cheng Zhiying He Yongchao Cai Cheng Zhang Gongbo Fu Hengyu Li Wen Sun Changcheng Liu Xiuliang Cui Beifang Ning Daimin Xiang Tengfei Zhou Xiaofeng Li Weifen Xie Hongyang Wang Jin Ding 2019Cell Research2019,29,2:3
4Research on hovering control scheme to non-circular orbit显示文摘An open-loop control system for hovering at any selected position on spacecraft orbit is first presented given that the satellite's engine provides continuous finite thrust.Actually,the hovering states are unstable considering perturbations and thrust errors,so a feedback sliding mode variable structure control,which is adaptive and chattering-free,is designed.Under this feedback control scheme,the high-frequency chattering phenomenon is avoided,while the system stays highly robust at the same time.Simulation results show that the feedback control thrusts are continuous and the steady-states error can be confined to 10 4 m at the presence of uncertain perturbations.Finally,the feasibility of realizing hovering orbits is analyzed taking the 'Moliya' and geosynchronous Earth orbit(GEO) satellites as examples.WANG GongBo ZHENG Wei MENG YunHe TANG GuoJian 2011Science China(Technological Sciences)2011,54,11:2

8Associations of Residential Greenness with Depression and Anxiety in Rural Chinese Adults显示文摘BACKGROUND Depression and anxiety are top contributors to non-fatal health loss globally.Several studies have indicated the association between residential greenness and mental health.METHOD The participants(n=27,366)were recruited from four counties in Henan Province,China during 2015–2017.Symptoms of depression and anxiety were evaluated using the Patient Health Questionnaire-2(PHQ-2)and the Generalized Anxiety Disorder-2(GAD-2)in the baseline survey.The level of residential greenness during the 3-year period before the baseline survey was assessed using the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer(MODIS)Normalized Difference Vegetation Index(NDVI)and Enhanced Vegetation Index(EVI).The mixed-effect linear regression model was applied to examine the associations of residential greenness with depression and anxiety.RESULTS The results of adjusted models showed that the score of PHQ-2(Dscore and 95%confidence interval[CI])decreased by-0.024(-0.041,-0.006)and-0.022(-0.038,-0.004)with an interquartile range(IQR)increase in NDVI and EVI within a 1,000-m buffer radius,respectively.The score of GAD-2(Dscore and 95%CI)decreased by-0.024(-0.040,-0.006)and-0.028(-0.044,-0.011),in relation to an IQR increase in NDVI and EVI within a 1,000-m buffer radius,respectively.CONCLUSIONS A higher level of residential greenness was significantly associated with lower risk of depression and anxiety in rural areas of Henan Province.Improving residential greenness accessibility may help to promote the mental health of rural populations.Niu Di Shanshan Li Hao Xiang Yinyu Xie Zhenxing Mao Jian Hou Xiaotian Liu Wenqian Huo Boyi Yang Guanghui Dong Chongjian Wang Gongbo Chen Yuming Guo 2020The Innovation2020,1,3:1
9Associations of particulate matter with dementia and mild cognitive impairment in China: A multicenter cross-sectional study显示文摘Ambient air pollution has been shown to be associated with the pathogenesis of dementia and mild cognitive impairment(MCI).However,few studies have examined these associations in well-characterized populations with low residential mobility,similar living habits,and a standardized assessment of both air pollution exposure and clinical outcome.This study examined the associations of long-term exposure to particulate matter(PM)air pollution with dementia and MCI,using data from the Chinese Veteran Clinical Research Platform.The cognitive function of elderly veterans from 277 communities in 18 Chinese cities was examined.Participants’daily exposures to aerodynamic diameters%2.5 mm(PM2.5)and%10 mm(PM10)during the 3 years prior to the survey were estimated using a satellite-based prediction.The adjusted odds ratios(ORs)and 95%confidence intervals of MCI associated with each 10 mg/m^(3) increase in PM2.5 and PM10 were 1.52(1.39,1.67)and 1.04(1.00,1.08),and those of dementia associated with PM2.5 and PM10 were 1.27(1.11,1.46)and 1.13(1.05,1.21),respectively.This demonstrates that long-term exposure to PM2.5 and PM10 can increase the prevalence of dementia/MCI among veterans in China.Higher ORs were observed for those with%9 years of educational attainment,those who actively attended physical activities,those who never smoked,former drinkers,and those who did not suffer from cerebral infarction.Improvement of ambient air quality,especially decreasing levels of PM2.5,may help to decrease the risk of dementia/MCI.Given the statistically significant association between PM and cognitive impairment demonstrated here,future studies should focus on examining the causal effect of PM pollution on dementia and MCI.Jiping Tan Nan Li Xiaoxiao Wang Gongbo Chen Lailai Yan Luning Wang Yiming Zhao Shanshan Li Yuming Guo 2021The Innovation2021,2,3:1

12Electron beam surface heating-diffusion bonding:An effective joining method for aluminum alloy metal-matrix composite with high SiC volume显示文摘As a novel method to reduce the temperature during electron beam welding,and to subsequently inhibit interfacial reaction between SiC and Al matrix,the electron beam surface heating-diffusion bonding is proposed for joining SiC particle reinforced aluminum alloy metal-matrix composite of 45 vol.%SiC/2024 Al.The defocused electron beam was used to heat the base metal surface,and the simultaneous pressure was applied to the butt surface to achieve bonding.The base metals were successfully joined by diffusion.The maximum temperature of the whole joint was effectively decreased to less than 650°C.The Gibbs free energy change of interfacial reaction was calculated,meaning a positive value reaching 218 kJ/mol and a consequently prominent inhibitory effect on the formation of brittle Al_(4)C_(3)that was proved by microstructural observation.The tensile strength for the bonded joint was increased by 35%compared to that for ordinary welded joint.When the TC4 layer was added,TiC strengthening particles were formed with the deficiency of Al_(4)C_(3),corresponding to the significantly increased tensile strength of 63%of base metal(154 MPa).Guoqing Chen Qianxing Yin Jian Cao Ge Zhang Gongbo Zhen Binggang Zhang 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,29:0

14Low-Carbon Dispatch of an Integrated Energy System Considering Confidence Intervals for Renewable Energy Generation显示文摘Addressing the insufficiency in down-regulation leeway within integrated energy systems stemming from the erratic and volatile nature of wind and solar renewable energy generation,this study focuses on formulating a coordinated strategy involving the carbon capture unit of the integrated energy system and the resources on the load storage side.A scheduling model is devised that takes into account the confidence interval associated with renewable energy generation,with the overarching goal of optimizing the system for low-carbon operation.To begin with,an in-depth analysis is conducted on the temporal energy-shifting attributes and the low-carbon modulation mechanisms exhibited by the source-side carbon capture power plant within the context of integrated and adaptable operational paradigms.Drawing from this analysis,a model is devised to represent the adjustable resources on the charge-storage side,predicated on the principles of electro-thermal coupling within the energy system.Subsequently,the dissimilarities in the confidence intervals of renewable energy generation are considered,leading to the proposition of a flexible upper threshold for the confidence interval.Building on this,a low-carbon dispatch model is established for the integrated energy system,factoring in the margin allowed by the adjustable resources.In the final phase,a simulation is performed on a regional electric heating integrated energy system.This simulation seeks to assess the impact of source-load-storage coordination on the system’s low-carbon operation across various scenarios of reduction margin reserves.The findings underscore that the proactive scheduling model incorporating confidence interval considerations for reduction margin reserves effectively mitigates the uncertainties tied to renewable energy generation.Through harmonized orchestration of source,load,and storage elements,it expands the utilization scope for renewable energy,safeguards the economic efficiency of system operations under low-carbon emission conditions,and empirically validates the soundness and efficacy of the proposed approach.Yan Shi Wenjie Li Gongbo Fan Luxi Zhang Fengjiu Yang 2024Energy Engineering2024,121,2:0
