| 2 | Characteristics of atmospheric single particles during haze periods in a typical urban area of Beijing:A case study in October,2014显示文摘To investigate the composition and possible sources of particles, especially during heavy haze pollution, a single particle aerosol mass spectrometer(SPAMS) was deployed to measure the changes of single particle species and sizes during October of 2014, in Beijing. A total of 2,871,431 particles with both positive and negative spectra were collected and characterized in combination with the adaptive resonance theory neural network algorithm(ART-2a). Eight types of particles were classified: dust particles(dust, 8.1%), elemental carbon(EC, 29.0%), organic carbon(OC, 18.0%), EC and OC combined particles(ECOC, 9.5%),Na-K containing particles(Na K, 7.9%), K-containing particles(K, 21.8%), organic nitrogen and potassium containing particles(KCN, 2.3%), and metal-containing particles(metal,3.6%). Three haze pollution events(P1, P2, P3) and one clean period(clean) were analyzed,based on the mass and number concentration of PM_(2.5)and the back trajectory results from the hybrid single particle Lagrangian integrated trajectory model(Hysplit-4 model). Results showed that EC, OC and K were the major components of single particles during the three haze pollution periods, which showed clearly increased ratios compared with those in the clean period. | 3 | Embryonic endothelial evolution towards first hematopoietic stem cells revealed by single-cell transcriptomic and functional analyses显示文摘Hematopoietic stem cells(HSCs)in adults are believed to be born from hemogenic endothelial cells(HECs)in mid-gestational embryos.Due to the rare and transient nature,the HSC-competent HECs have never been stringently identified and accurately captured,let alone their genuine vascular precursors.Here,we first used high-precision single-cell transcriptomics to unbiasedly examine the relevant EC populations at continuous developmental stages with intervals of 0.5 days from embryonic day(E)9.5 to E11.0.As a consequence,we transcriptomically identified two molecularly different arterial EC populations and putative HSCprimed HECs,whose number peaked at El 0.0 and sharply decreased thereafter,in the dorsal aorta of the aorta-gonadmesonephros(AGM)region.Combining computational prediction and in vivo functional validation,we precisely captured HSCcompetent HECs by the newly constructed Neurl3-EGFP reporter mouse model,and realized the enrichment further by a combination of surface markers(Procr+Kit+CD44+,PK44).Surprisingly,the endothelial-hematopoietic dual potential was rarely but reliably witnessed in the cultures of single HECs.Noteworthy,primitive vascular ECs from E8.0 experienced two-step fate choices to become HSC-primed HECs,namely an Initial arterial fate choice followed by a hemogenic fate conversion.This finding resolves several previously observed contradictions.Taken together,comprehensive understanding of endothelial evolutions and molecular programs underlying HSC-primed HEC specification in vivo will facilitate future investigations directing HSC production in vitro. | Siyuan Hou Zongcheng Li Xiaona Zheng Yun Gao Ji Dong Yanli Ni Xiaobo Wang Yunqiao Li Xiaochen Ding Zhilin Chang Shuaili Li Yuqiong Hu Xiaoying Fan Yu Hou Lu Wen Bing Liu Fuchou Tang Yu Lan | 2020 | Cell Research2020,30,5: | 8 |

| 5 | Poly(dimethyl siloxane)anti-corrosion coating with wide pH-responsive and self-healing performance based on core-shell nanofiber containers显示文摘In this research,core-shell electrospun fibers loaded with the shell of cellulose acetate and the core of oleic acid and alkyd varnish resin were synthesized and used within poly(dimethyl siloxane)(PDMS)to prepare self-healing and p H-responsive coatings for a steel substrate.The morphology of the electrospun fibers was characterized by scanning electron microscopy,transmission electron microscopy and confocal fluorescence microscopy.Thermo gravimetric analysis and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy revealed that the self-healing agents were loaded successfully with a loading rate of 2.9%.The properties of the fiber-PDMS composite coating were characterized by water contact angle measurements,mechanical tests,electrochemical impedance spectroscopy,and scanning Kelvin probe.Results show that the maximum self-healing efficiencies of the fiber-PDMS coating in alkaline and acidic solution are 95.96%and 97.04%,respectively.The composition of the self-healing agents at the damaged part of the coating was verified by an infrared mapping test and using an energy dispersive spectrometer.In addition,the sandpaper abrasion test shows the hydrophobic effect of fiber-PDMS coating remains above 88.2%and decreases slightly through the addition of abrasion cycles.This research can pave the way for the industrial applications of p H-responsive self-healing coatings. | Xiaohong Ji Wei Wang Xia Zhao Lifei Wang Fubin Ma Yanli Wang Jizhou Duan Baorong Hou | 2022 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,6: | 4 |

| 7 | Influence of Surface Nanocrystallization on Ti Ion Implantation of Pure Iron显示文摘In order to increase the depth or concentration of Ti ion implantation of pure iron, the surface mechanical attrition treatment(SMAT), which can fabricate a nanometer-grained surface layer without porosity and contamination in a pure iron plate, was used before ion implantation. Ti ion was implanted into the SMA treated sample and coarse-grained counterpart by using a metal vapor vacuum arc source implanter. The changing of depth and concentration of Ti was studied in a function of implantation time.By optical microscopy, transmission electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction, the grain size of the nano structured surface was studied. Micro-hardness, friction and wear behavior of nano surface layers were studied. By energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy and Auger electron spectroscopy, the chemical composition and concentration of Ti ion in the surface implantation layer were studied. Experimental results showed that the concentration of Ti increased dramatically compared with untreated coarsegrained samples, which is attributed to the existence of higher density of defects(supersaturated vacancies, dislocations, non-equilibrium grain boundaries etc.) and compression stress field in the SMA treated nanocrystallined surface layer. The interaction between the defects and the implanted solute atoms leads to the increment of solid solubility. But the implantation depth showed inconspicuous change. | 16 | 参附注射液联合长春瑞宾提高老年非小细胞肺癌生活质量的随机对照研究(英文)显示文摘Objective: The present study aimed to investigate the efficacy of Shenfu injection plus vinorelbine on the promotion of the quality of life (QOL) in elderly non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients. Methods: A randomized single blind trial method was used. Forty-six patients with stage IIIB–IV of NSCLC were randomly divided into experimental group and control group. In the experimental group, the patients were treated with 50 mL Shenfu injection from day 1 to 14, plus vinorelbine (NVB) 25 mg/m2 on day 1 and 8. In the control group, the patients were only treated with NVB 25 mg/m2 on day 1 and 8. After two cycle’s of treatment, QOL, efficacy and toxicity were observed. Results: The QOL was enhanced in both experimental group and control group. However, the difference of KPS after treatment in the experimental group was markedly higher than in the control group (14 ± 10 vs. 8 ± 10, t = 2.116, P = 0.04), improvement rate of QOL was better than in the control group (76.2% vs. 45.0%, χ2 = 4.188, P = 0.041), treatment related toxicity in the experimental group was also markedly lower than in the control group (χ2 = 3.866, P = 0.049), but the difference of efficacy between the two groups was not significant (14.3% vs. 15.0%, χ2 = 0.161, P = 0.688). | 18 | Epidemic and Maintenance of Rabies in Chinese Ferret Badgers (Melogale moschata) indicated by Epidemiology and the Molecular Signatures of Rabies Viruses显示文摘An epidemic of Chinese ferret badger-associated human rabies was investigated in Wuyuan county, Jiangxi province and rabies viruses isolates from ferret badgers in different districts in Jiangxi and Zhejiang provinces were sequenced with their nucleotides and amino acids and aligned for epidemiological analysis. The results showed that the human rabies in Wuyuan are only associated with ferret badger bites; the rabies virus can be isolated in a high percentage of ferret badgers in the epidemic areas in Jiangxi and Zhejiang provinces; the isolates share the same molecular features in nucleotides and have characteristic amino acid signatures, i.e., 2 sites in the nucleoprotein and 3 sites in the glycoprotein, that are distinct from virus isolates from dogs in the same region. | 20 | A preliminary site selection system for underground hydrogen storage in salt caverns and its application in Pingdingshan,China显示文摘Large‐scale underground hydrogen storage(UHS)provides a promising method for increasing the role of hydrogen in the process of carbon neutrality and energy transition.Of all the existing storage deposits,salt caverns are recognized as ideal sites for pure hydrogen storage.Evaluation and optimization of site selection for hydrogen storage facilities in salt caverns have become significant issues.In this article,the software CiteSpace is used to analyze and filter hot topics in published research.Based on a detailed classification and analysis,a“four‐factor”model for the site selection of salt cavern hydrogen storage is proposed,encompassing the dynamic demands of hydrogen energy,geological,hydrological,and ground factors of salt mines.Subsequently,20 basic indicators for comprehensive suitability grading of the target site were screened using the analytic hierarchy process and expert survey methods were adopted,which provided a preliminary site selection system for salt cavern hydrogen storage.Ultimately,the developed system was applied for the evaluation of salt cavern hydrogen storage sites in the salt mines of Pingdingshan City,Henan Province,thereby confirming its rationality and effectiveness.This research provides a feasible method and theoretical basis for the site selection of UHS in salt caverns in China. | Liangchao Huang Yanli Fang Zhengmeng Hou Yachen Xie Lin Wu Jiashun Luo Qichen Wang Yilin Guo Wei Sun | 2024 | Deep Underground Science and Engineering2024,3,1: | 0 |
