1Deformation characteristics and safety assessment of a high-speed railway induced by undercutting metro tunnel excavation显示文摘Stratum deformation(settlement) is a challenging issue in tunnel engineering, especially when construction of metro tunnels has to undercut high-speed railway. For this purpose, we used the FLAC30 software to analyze the stratum settlement characteristics of high-speed railway at different crossing angles intersected by metro tunnel, in terms of ground settlement trough, stratum slip line and irregularity of ballastless tracks. According to the evolution of the stratum settlement at different angle regions, an optimized angle is proposed for the actual project design. In order to reduce the influence of stratum settlement on the safety of high-speed railway, an approach of safety assessment is proposed for the shield engineering undercutting high-speed railway, as per Chinese specifications using numerical results and on-site conditions. A case study is conducted for the shield tunnel section crossing the Wuhan-Guangzhou High-speed Railway between the Guangzhou North Railway Station and the Huacheng Road Station, which represents the first metro tunnel project passing below a high-speed railway in China. A series of measures is taken to ensure the safe excavation of the shield tunnel and the operation of the high-speed railway. 4Association oftransforming growth factor-β1 gene variants with risk of coal workers'pneumoconiosis显示文摘Objective:The aim of this case-control study was to explore whether five tagging single nucleotide polymorphisms(tSNPs)within the transforming growth factor-β1(TGF-β1)gene were involved in manifestation of inflammatory and fibrotic processes associated with coal workers'pneumoconiosis(CWP).Methods:The study included 508 CWP patients and 526 controls who were underground coal miners from Xuzhou Mining Business Group.Five tSNPs were selected from the HapMap and detected by polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism(PCR-RFLP)method.Results:The single SNP analysis showed that the genotype frequencies of SNP2(rs1800470,+869T/C,extron 1)and SNP5(rs11466345,intron 5)in CWP cases were sig- nificantly different from those in controls.Multivariate logistic regression analysis revealed that SNP2(rs1800470) CC genotype was associated with decreased risk of CWP(OR=0.50,95%CI=0.32-0.78),which was evident among subgroups of those never smoke(OR=0.40,95%CI=0.24-0.66),cases with stageⅡ(OR=0.41,95%CI =0.22-0.76)and exposure period(<28 y:OR=0.54,95%CI=0.31-0.95;≥28 y:OR=0.52,95%CI=0.32-0.96). 5The development from hyperuricemia to gout:key mechanisms and natural products for treatment显示文摘Gout is a common of inflammatory arthritis and is caused by the deposition of monosodium urate(MSU)crystals as a result of hyperuricemia(HUA).Although HUA is considered to be the main risk factor for gout,only approximately 10%of the individuals with HUA will eventually experience a gout attack.In this review,we first briefly introduce the development of gout and then summarize several possible reasons for its development.Genetic factors play a more prominent role in gout than in other diseases;functional mutations related to urate control and innate immunity components have been found to be associated with gout.Here,we list some of the most prominent genes involved in the pathogenesis of gout.In joints with MSU deposition,mature macrophages may uptake MSU crystals without causing inflammation,and this helps to maintain joints in an asymptomatic state.As an auxiliary inflammation pathway,the ATP-P2X7R-NLRP3 axis may contribute to the amplification of MSU-induced inflammation to affect the development of gout.Finally,this review summarizes the research progress on natural products that can be used in the treatment of HUA and gout.Lin Liu Dan Wang Mengyang Liu Haiyang Yu Qian Chen Yuzheng Wu Ruixia Bao Yi Zhang Tao Wang 2022Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine2022,2,1:2
6Elevated atmospheric CO_(2) reduces CH_(4)and N_(2)O emissions under two contrasting rice cultivars from a subtropical paddy field in China显示文摘Elevated CO_(2)(eCO_(2))and rice cultivars can strongly alter CH_(4)and N_(2)O emissions from paddy fields.However,detailed information on how their interaction affects greenhouse gas fluxes in the field is still lacking.In this study,we investigated CH_(4)and N_(2)O emissions and rice growth under two contrasting rice cultivars(the strongly and weakly responsive cultivars)in response to eCO_(2),200μmol mol^(-1)higher than the ambient CO_(2)(aCO_(2)),in Chinese subtropical rice systems relying on a multi-year in-situ free-air CO_(2)enrichment platform from 2016 to 2018.The results showed that compared to aCO_(2),eCO_(2)increased rice yield by 7%-31%,while it decreased seasonal cumulative CH_(4)and N_(2)O emissions by 10%-59%and 33%-70%,respectively,regardless of rice cultivar.The decrease in CH_(4) emissions under eCO_(2)was possibly ascribed to the lower CH_(4)production potential(MPP)and the higher CH_(4)oxidation potential(MOP)correlated with the higher soil redox potential(Eh)and O_(2)concentration([O_(2)])in the surface soil.The mitigating effect of eCO_(2)on N_(2)O emissions was likely associated with the reduction of soil soluble N content.The strongly responsive cultivars had lower CH_(4)and N_(2)O emissions than the weakly re sponsive cultivars,and the main reason might be that the former induced higher soil Eh and[O_(2)]in the surface soil and had larger plant biomass and greater N uptake.The findings indicated that breeding strongly responsive cultivars with the potential for greater rice production and lower greenhouse gas emissions is an effective agricultural practice to ensure food security and environmental sustainability under future climate change scenarios.Haiyang YU Guangbin ZHANG Jing MA Tianyu WANG Kaifu SONG Qiong HUANG Chunwu ZHU Qian JIANG Jianguo ZHU Hua XU 2022Pedosphere2022,32,5:2

11A Plasmonic Mass Spectrometry Approach for Detection of Small Nutrients and Toxins显示文摘Nutriology relies on advanced analytical tools to study the molecular compositions of food and provide key information on sample quality/safety. Small nutrients detection is challenging due to the high diversity and broad dynamic range of molecules in food samples, and a further issue is to track low abundance toxins. Herein, we developed a novel plasmonic matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization mass spectrometry(MALDI MS)approach to detect small nutrients and toxins in complex biological emulsion samples. Silver nanoshells(SiO_2@-Ag) with optimized structures were used as matrices andachieved direct analysis of ~ 6 n L of human breast milk without any enrichment or separation. We performed identification and quantitation of small nutrients and toxins with limit-of-detection down to 0.4 pmol(for melamine) and reaction time shortened to minutes, which is superior to the conventional biochemical method currently in use. 12Improving the Properties of Fast-Growing Chinese Fir by Vacuum Hot Pressing Treatment显示文摘Chinese fir was compressed by vacuum hot pressing and conventional hot pressing at different temperatures(180℃,200℃ and 220℃),respectively.The color parameters of the heat-compressed sample were measured,the relative mechanical properties of the material were tested and changes in the chemistry of fir were investigated using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR)and Xray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS).The results indicated that the color difference between compressed and untreated wood increased gradually with the increase of temperature.Compared with the conventional hot pressing treatment,the color difference(ΔE*)of the Chinese fir treated by vacuum hot pressing decreased by 43.73%,69.91%,and 77.17%,respectively.The mechanical properties(bending elastic modulus and bending strength)of Chinese fir treated by vacuum hot pressing were significantly improved.The 24-hour water absorption thickness expansion rate of fir treated by vacuum hot pressing is smaller than that of conventional hot pressing.It is implied that vacuum hot pressing treatment is an effective method to produce compressed wood,which can improve the mechanical properties and dimensional stability of wood,and reduce the influence of carbonization on wood color.Lu Hong Biqing Shu Qian He Zehui Ju Haiyang Zhang Xiaoning Lu 2021Journal of Renewable Materials2021,9,1:0
13Energy Release Rate Measurement of Welded Bamboo Joints显示文摘Double cantilever beam tests were used to measure the energy release rates of linear vibrational welded moso bamboo joints.The influence of the length of the preserved cracks,the different combinations of the inner and outer bamboo surfaces and the moisture content is studied herein.The experimental compliance method,which is based on linear elastic fracture mechanics and has been shown to be an ideal method,was used to analyze data with the power equation.The results show that the preserved initial crack length does not have a significant effect on the final measured energy release rate,while the moso bamboo combination does affect the properties dramatically.The welded moso bamboo joints with inner-inner surfaces have the highest energy release rate of 122 J/m^2.The average energy release of the outer-outer combination was only 102 J/m^2.The expansion of the cracks also became easier when the moisture content of the welded joints was 18.5%compared to 4.5% and 10.1%.So the moisture resistance of the welded joints should be duly improved.Haiyang Zhang Qian He Xiaoning Lu A.Pizzi Changtong Mei Xianxu Zhan 2018Journal of Renewable Materials2018,6,5:0

15Photonic crystal vertical-cavity surface-emitting laserbased on GaAs material显示文摘A photonic crystal vertical-cavity-surface-emitting laser (PC-VCSEL) with a wavelength of about 850 nm was realized. The direct-current electrically-driven PC-VCSELs with a minimum threshold current of 2 mA and a maximum threshold current of 13.5 mA were obtained. 16Credit Risk Analysis of Chinese Companies by Applying the CAFÉApproach显示文摘It is known that the current Credit Rating in financial markets of China is facing at least three problems:1)the rating is falsely high;2)the differentiation of credit rating is insufficient;and 3)the poor performance of predicting early warning,thus we must consider how to create a reasonable new credit risk analysis approach to deal with issues for financial markets in China for those listed companies’performance.This report shows that by using a newmethod called the“Hologram approach”as a tool,we are able to establish a so-called“CAFÉRisk Analysis System”(in short,“CAFÉApproach”,or“CAFÉ”)to resolve three issues for credit rating in China.In particular,the main goal in this paper is to give a comprehensive report for credit risk assessments for eight selected list companies by applying our“CAFÉ”from different industry sectors against actual market performance with the time period from the past one to three years through our one-by-one interpretation for event screening and true occurrence and related events.In this way,we show how“CAFÉ”is able to resolve current three major problems of“rating is falsely high,the differentiation of credit rating grades is insufficient,and the poor performance of predicting early warning”in the current credit market in China’s financial industry in practice.George X.Yuan Chengxing Yan Yunpeng Zhou Haiyang Liu Guoqi Qian Yukun Shi 2022国际计算机前沿大会会议论文集2022,,2:0
17Discrete element method dynamic simulation of icosahedral particle packing under three-dimensional mechanical vibration显示文摘Packing densification of monosized regular icosahedral particles under three-dimensional mechanical vibration has been simulated by the discrete element method (DEM).The effects of the vibration conditions and container size on packing densification were systematically investigated.In addition to the macroscale properties (packing density and porosity),the microscale properties,such as the coordination number (CN),radial distribution function (RDF),particle contact type,particle orientation distribution,and stresses/forces,in random loose packing (RLP) and random close packing (RCP) were also characterized and analyzed.The results show that transformation of icosahedral particle packing from RLP to RCP can be realized by properly controlling the vibration conditions.The maximum random packing density without the wall effect reaches 0.7078.Microscale property analysis shows that the average CN increases after vibration.The RDF curves contain two clear peaks for RLP and three for RCP.From RLP to RCP,the probability of face to face contact between two particles increases,while the probabilities of edge to edge,edge to face,and face to vertex contact decrease.The orientation correlation functions indicate the randomness of the vibrated packing structure.In addition,more uniform force and stress distributions are observed within the dense packing structure.Guangjian Zhang Xizhong An Bo Zhao Quan Qian Haiyang Zhao 2019Particuology2019,17,3:0
18The FAST all sky HI survey(FASHI):The first release of catalog显示文摘The FAST All Sky HI survey(FASHI)was designed to cover the entire sky observable by the Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical radio Telescope(FAST),spanning approximately 22000 square degrees of declination between-14°and+66°,and in the frequency range of 1050-1450 MHz,with the expectation of eventually detecting more than 100000 HI sources.Between August 2020 and June 2023,FASHI had covered more than 7600 square degrees,which is approximately 35%of the total sky observable by FAST.It has a median detection sensitivity of around 0.76 m Jy beam-1and a spectral line velocity resolution of~6.4 km s-1at a frequency of~1.4 GHz.As of now,a total of 41741 extragalactic HI sources have been detected in the frequency range 1305.5-1419.5 MHz,corresponding to a redshift limit of z■0.09.By cross-matching FASHI sources with the Siena Galaxy Atlas(SGA)and the Sloan Digital Sky Survey(SDSS)catalogs,we found that 16972(40.7%)sources have spectroscopic redshifts and 10975(26.3%)sources have only photometric redshifts.Most of the remaining 13794(33.0%)HI sources are located in the direction of the Galactic plane,making their optical counterparts difficult to identify due to high extinction or high contamination of Galactic stellar sources.Based on current survey results,the FASHI survey is an unprecedented blind extragalactic H I survey.It has higher spectral and spatial resolution and broader coverage than the Arecibo Legacy Fast ALFA Survey(ALFALFA).When completed,FASHI will provide the largest extragalactic HI catalog and an objective view of HI content and large-scale structure in the local universe.Chuan-Peng Zhang Ming Zhu Peng Jiang Cheng Cheng Jing Wang Jie Wang Jin-Long Xu Xiao-Lan Liu Nai-Ping Yu Lei Qian Haiyang Yu Mei Ai Yingjie Jing Chen Xu Ziming Liu Xin Guan Chun Sun Qingliang Yang Menglin Huang Qiaoli Hao FAST Collaboration 2024Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2024,67,1:0
19Steam Exploded Peanut Shell Fiber as the Filler in the Rigid Polyurethane Foams显示文摘In this study,steam exploded peanut shell fibers(SE-PSFs)were utilized to fabricate with rigid polyurethane foam(RPUF)in order to improve sound absorption performance and hydrothermal weather resistance.Optimized method of SE treatment,RPUF preparation and flame retardant treatment were selected to prepare SE-PSF/RPUF composites in this experiment.Physical and mechanical properties including density,water absorption capacity,thickness swelling rate,compressive strength,thermal conductivity and average sound absorption coefficient of SE-PSF/RPUF were investigated and compared with the control(PRUF).The results showed that the density,water absorption capacity,thickness swelling rate and thermal conductivity showed an increasing trend with the increase of SE-PSFs content.The strength of the composite material showed a downward trend with the increase of the SE-PSFs content.The average sound absorption coefficient of the SE-PSFs/RPUF compared with PRUF significant increased,and the average sound absorption coefficient of the SE-PSFs/RPUF with SE-PSFs 40%was 0.47.The study getted the best ratio of flame retardants for 10%EG and 3%DMMP.The oxygen index was 35.56 vol%.Zehui Ju Qian He Tianyi Zhan Haiyang Zhang Lin Sun Lu Hong Xinyi Shi Xiaoning Lu 2019Journal of Renewable Materials2019,7,11:0
