2Microstructure modification and corrosion resistance enhancement of die-cast Mg-Al-Re alloy by Sr alloying显示文摘The effects of Sr additions on the microstructure and corrosion performance of a Mg-Al-RE alloy in 3.5 wt.%Na Cl saturated with Mg(OH)_(2) have been investigated.Microstructure examination reveals that the Sr addition introduces additional intermetallic phases,refines intermetallic networks and dendritic grains,and improves the network continuity.More Al and rare earth elements can be identified in the intermetallics and grain boundaries or inter-dendrite regions under a transmission electron microscope and secondary electron microscope,respectively.On the Sr-containing intermetallic phases and the refined microstructure,the oxide films become more protective,resulting in more corrosion resistant boundary areas and thus dendrite grain grooves.Hence,the presence of large amounts of intermetallics and boundaries can enhance the corrosion performance of the Mg-Al-RE alloy containing Sr.Matthew S.Dargusch Zhiming Shi Hanliang Zhu Andrej Atrens Guang-Ling Song 2021Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2021,9,3:5
3Management of nonfunctioning islet cell tumors显示文摘AIM: TO more clearly define the clinical and pathological characteristics and appropriate diagnosis and treatment of nonfunctioning (NFICTs) islet cell tumors, and to review our institutional experience over the last 30 years. METHODS: The records of 43 patients confirmed to have nonfunctioning islet cell tumors of pancreas were retrospectively reviewed. Survival was estimated by the Kaplan-Meier methods and potential risk factors for survival were compared with the log-rank tests. RESULTS: The mean age was 31.63 years (range, 8 to 67 years). There were 7 men and 36 women. Twentyeight patients had a confirmed diagnosis of nonfunctioning islet cell carcinoma (NFICC) and benign islet cell tumors were found in 15 patients. The most common symptoms in patients with NFICTs were abdominal pain (55.8%), nausea and/or vomiting (32.6%), fatigue (25.6%) and abdominal mass (23.3%). Preoperative ultrasonic and computed tomography localized the tumors in all patients. Forty-three NFICTs were distributed throughout the pancreas, with 21 located to the right of the superior mesenteric vessels, 10 in the body of the pancreas, 6 in the tail of the pancreas, and multiple tumors were found in one patient. Thirty-nine of 43 patients (91%) underwent surgical resection. Surgical treatment was curative in 30 patients (70%) and palliative in 9(21%). The resectability and curative resection rate in patients with NFICC of pancreas were 89% and 61%, respectively. The overall cumulative 5- and 10-year survival rates for patients with NFICC were 58.05% and 29.03%, respectively. Radical operation and diameter of cancer small than 10 cm were positive prognostic factors in females younger than 30 years old. Multivariate Cox regression analysis indicated that radical operation was the only independent prognostic factor, P=0.007. CONCLUSION: Nonfunctioning islet cell tumors of pancreas are found mainly in young women. 4Immunization effect of purified bivalent vaccine to haemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome manufactured from primary cultured hamster kidney cells显示文摘Haemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome (HFRS) is a worldwide epidemic plaguing over thirty nations. This disease has spread across 26 provinces, cities and autonomous regions of China with an annual onsets number of more than a hundred thousand and a mortality rate of 5% to 15%, accounting for over 80% of cases in the world, and threatening the safety and health of Chinese people. 1 Analysis of serum samples over recent years indicates that the plagued areas are expanding. Instead of a single type Ⅰ or Ⅱ strain, each area now has a combination with one type predominant. 2 These demographic changes revealed a shortcoming of the monovalent vaccine in use, urging China to develop a purified bivalent vaccine based on monovalent one. 5Droplet Motion and Phase Change Model with Two-Way Coupling显示文摘The droplet interacts intensively with surrounding gas when moving and evaporating in the gas,of which the mutual effects of the gas and the evaporating droplet need to be taken into account.For the typical droplet model,the gas parameters are usually considered as that at infinity and the local parameter variation surrounding the droplet is neglected,consequently leading to some discrepancies.This research tries to develop a new moving droplet phase change model with two-phase coupling which characterizes the local parameter variation of gas phase surrounding the evaporating droplet.Firstly,the interaction mechanism of two phases is presented based on the droplet evaporation phenomena.Then,the droplet motion and phase change model is developed through the theoretical derivation.Subsequently,the analysis of the evaporation characteristics of the injected droplets in the hot air is conducted to simulate the operation process of the containment spray system in the nuclear power station.The numerical simulation indicates the refined droplet model is more capable for precise prediction of the situations with large quantities of evaporating droplets and with intensive interactions between two phases.ZHAO Fulong LIU Qianfeng YAN Xiao BO Hanliang ZENG Chen TAN Sichao 2019Journal of Thermal Science2019,28,4:2
6Density-based user clustering in downlink NOMA systems显示文摘Non-orthogonal multiple access(NOMA)technology,which can effectively improve the bandwidth utilization,is one of the key technologies in the next-generation wireless communication systems.In the downlink multiple antenna NOMA systems,user clustering is one of the problems that must be solved.In this paper,we focus on the user clustering that maximizes the system sum rate.First,a user clustering method based on the density-based spatial clustering of applications with noise(DBSCAN)algorithm is proposed for static user scenarios.Then an improved low-complexity dynamic clustering method is further developed for dynamic user scenarios.Simulation results show that compared with existing clustering methods,the DBSCAN-based method has better clustering performance in complex static user scenarios,and the proposed dynamic clustering method performs close to completely re-executing the DBSCAN-based method but with lower complexity.Hanliang YOU Yaoyue HU Zhiwen PAN Nan LIU 2022Science China(Information Sciences)2022,65,5:2

10Functional interaction of TCF4 with ATF5 to regulate the Wnt signaling pathway显示文摘Wnt signaling directs cell-fate choices during embryonic development and tissue tumorigenesis. T cell fac-tor 4 (TCF4) plays a pivotal role in the Wnt signaling path-way. We demonstrate that a specific protein-protein interac-tion occurs between TCF4 and ATF5 (activating transcrip-tion factor 5) —— a new member of cAMP response element binding protein (CREB) with the yeast two-hybrid system. The N-terminal and DNA binding domain of TCF4 (TCF4ND, 1—495 aa) and the C-terminal spanning bZIP domain of ATF5 (162—282 aa) were found to be responsible for the interaction, and the C-terminal of ATF5 (ATF5/C) showed a much stronger interaction with TCF4ND than the full-length of ATF5 by detecting the b-gal activity. Further-more, overexpression of ATF5/C enhanced transcriptional activation by TCF4 proteins in luciferase assay by transient transfection. 12Integrating GIS Web services based on mediating architecture显示文摘The geographic information service is enabled by the advancements in general Web service technology and the focused efforts of the OGC in defining XML based Web GIS service. Based on these models, this paper addresses the issue of services chaining, the process of combining or pipelining results from several interoperable GIS Web Services to create a customized solution. This paper presents a mediated chaining architecture in which a specific service takes responsibility for performing the process that describes a service chain. We designed the Spatial Information Process Language (SIPL) for dynamic modeling and describing the service chain, also a prototype of the Spatial Information Process Execution Engine (SIPEE) is implemented for executing processes written in SIPL. 15Probing R-parity Violating Interactions via pp^-→eμ+X Channel on Tevatron显示文摘We investigate the lepton flavor violation processes p(p) → eμ + X induced by R-parity violating interactions at the Tevatron hadron collider. The theoretical calculation and Monte Carlo simulation demonstrate that with a set of suitable cuts on experimental observables, one might be capable to reduce the standard model physical background to a controllable level so that the signals of R-parity violating interactions could be detected distinctively. Furthermore, clear sneutrino information can be abstracted from the purified event sample where other SUSY scalar quark 'pollution' is heavily suppressed.
