1SARS-CoV-2 promotes RIPK1 activation to facilitate viral propagation显示文摘Coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19),caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2),is the ongoing global pandemic that poses substantial challenges to public health worldwide.A subset of COVID-19 patients experience systemic inflammatory response,known as cytokine storm,which may lead to death.Receptor-interacting serine/threonine-protein kinase 1(RIPK1)is an important mediator of inflammation and cell death.Here,we examined the interaction of RIPK1-mediated innate immunity with SARS-CoV-2 infection.We found evidence of RIPK1 activation in human COVID-19 lung pathological samples,and cultured human lung organoids and ACE2 transgenic mice infected by SARS-CoV-2.Inhibition of RIPK1 using multiple smallmolecule inhibitors reduced the viral load of SARS-CoV-2 in human lung organoids.Furthermore,therapeutic dosing of the RIPK1 inhibitor Nec-1s reduced mortality and lung viral load,and blocked the CNS manifestation of SARS-CoV-2 in ACE2 transgenic mice.Mechanistically,we found that the RNA-dependent RNA polymerase of SARS-CoV-2,NSP12,a highly conserved central component of coronaviral replication and transcription machinery,promoted the activation of RIPK1.Furthermore,NSP12323L variant,encoded by the SARS-CoV-2 C14408T variant first detected in Lombardy,Italy,that carries a Pro323Leu amino acid substitution in NSP12,showed increased ability to activate RIPK1.Inhibition of RIPK1 downregulated the transcriptional induction of proinflammatory cytokines and host factors including ACE2 and EGFR that promote viral entry into cells.Our results suggest that SARS-CoV-2 may have an unexpected and unusual ability to hijack the RIPK1-mediated host defense response to promote its own propagation and that inhibition of RIPK1 may provide a therapeutic option for the treatment of COVID-19.Gang Xu Ying Li Shengyuan Zhang Haoran Peng Yunyun Wang Dekang Li Taijie Jin Zhuohao He Yilun Tong Chunting Qi Guowei Wu Kangyun Dong Jizhou Gou Yang Liu Tongyang Xiao Jing Qu Liang Li Liang Liu Ping Zhao Zheng Zhang Junying Yuan 2021Cell Research2021,31,12:6
2Flexible ultraviolet photodetectors based on ZnO–SnO_2 heterojunction nanowire arrays显示文摘A ZnO–SnO_2 nanowires(NWs) array, as a metal oxide semiconductor, was successfully synthesized by a near-field electrospinning method for the applications as high performance ultraviolet photodetectors. Ultraviolet photodetectors based on a single nanowire exhibited excellent photoresponse properties to 300 nm ultraviolet light illumination including ultrahigh I_(on)/I_(off) ratios(up to 10~3), good stability and reproducibility because of the separation between photo-generated electron-hole pairs. Moreover, the NWs array shows an enhanced photosensing performance. Flexible photodetectors on the PI substrates with similar tendency properties were also fabricated. 3Three Tiaobu Feishen therapies protect human alveolar epithelial cells against cigarette smoking and tumor necrosis factor-mlear factor-kappa B pathwayα-induced inflamation by nuc显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the efficacy of Tiaobu Feishen formulae(TBFS), including Bufei Jianpi formula(BJF), Bufei Yishen formula(BYF), and Yiqi Zishen formula(YZF), on inflammatory response, protease-anti-protease imbalance and collagen deposition in rats.METHODS: In present work, we used an in vitro model of cigarette smoking extract(CSE)-and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)-induced A549 cellsto examine the efficacy of BJF, BYF and YZF on the production of inflammatory cytokines, including TNF-α and interleukin(IL)-8, IL-6, matrix metalloproteinases(MMP)-9, and IL-10 in CSE or TNF-ls. And their related transcripα-induced A549 celtion factors and signaling pathway were also analyzed.RESULTS: The results showed that BJF, BYF and YZF could significantly decrease the expression levels of the pro-inflammatory cytokines induced by CSE or TNF-α. Furthermore, BJF, BYF and YZF could suppress CSE-or TNF-α-induced activation of nuclear factor-kappa B(NF-κB) transcription factors and its corresponding pathways. Taken together, these data implied that BJF, BYF and YZF effectively inhibited CSE-or TNF-α-induced inflammatory response in alveolar epithelial cell, which was due to their inhibition effect on NF-κB pathways.CONCLUSION: Our findings suggest that the Tiaobu Feishen therapies may protect human alveolar epithelial cells against cigarette smoking and TNF-α-induced inflammation. 4Load Distribution Research on Pitch Bearing of Wind Turbine Generators显示文摘变桨轴承是风电机组传动与控制系统的关键部件,安装形式特殊且承受复杂的轴向、径向力和倾覆力矩等交变载荷。文中基于经典的赫兹弹性接触理论,建立了刚性套圈承受多向力和倾覆力矩的双排四点接触球变桨轴承的力学模型。在此基础上,应用弹性等理论研究套圈变形对轴承载荷分布的影响,推导轴承外载荷和滚动体接触力等载荷作用下转盘轴承内、外套圈的弯曲变形方程,联立非线性超越方程组给出了四点接触球转盘轴承分布载荷的求解方法。以某型号变桨轴承为例,分别采用刚性和柔性套圈2种模型对轴承载荷分布进行了计算和对比分析。结果表明2种模型下轴承载荷分布有显著区别,柔性套圈模型下的承载区间减小,载荷分布更加均匀,滚动体的承载能力有很大的提升。相关力学问题的研究可为变桨轴承结构设计提供必要的理论依据。RUI Xiaoming ZHENG Hui HUANG Haoran 2013中国电机工程学报2013,33,32:3
5Correlation between antioxidant depletion kinetic model and ageing behaviour of cross-linked polyethylene cable insulation显示文摘A concise kinetic model catering for the antioxidant reaction of thermally aged crosslinked polyethylene(XLPE)cable insulation before its abrupt performance deterioration is proposed for life prediction and condition assessment.The alternating current breakdown strength,elongation at break,carbonyl index,and pyrolysis activation energy of XLPE insulation are found to consistently display an abrupt change at a certain point of ageing time.This is strongly correlated to the depletion of the antioxidant whose content gradually decreases with ageing time and drops to a critical value,after which the abrupt degradation of the above macroscopic performances happens.Based on the simplified chain reactions of XLPE during thermal-oxidative ageing,a concise kinetic model about antioxidant prediction is accordingly established by solving the chemical kinetics equations.It indicates that the antioxidant content decays with the reciprocal of time before the abrupt degradation occurs.Results of antioxidant content predicted by the kinetic model at different temperatures matches well with the experimental results,and its reliability can also be proved by the Arrhenius relationship of the obtained results.The kinetic model proposed herein demonstrates satisfying conciseness and thus can be highly feasible in ageing condition assessment and life predicting of XLPE insulation.Yingying Zheng Yiwei Long Delun Yi Haoran Zhang Jian Gao Kangning Wu Jianying Li 2023High Voltage2023,8,2:2
6Growth of aligned SnS nanowire arrays for near infrared photodetectors显示文摘Aligned SnS nanowires arrays were grown via a simple chemical vapor deposition method.As-synthesized SnS nanowires are single crystals grown along the[111]direction.The single SnS nanowire based device showed excellent response to near infrared lights with good responsivity of 267.9 A/W,high external quantum efficiency of 3.12×10^4%and fast response time.Photodetectors were built on the aligned SnS nanowire arrays,exhibiting a light on/off ratio of 3.6,and the response and decay time of 4.5 and 0.7 s,respectively,to 1064 nm light illumination.Guozhen Shen Haoran Chen Zheng Lou 2020Journal of Semiconductors2020,41,4:2

9Thin ceramic PZT dual-and multi-frequency pMUT arrays for photoacoustic imaging显示文摘Miniaturized ultrasonic transducer arrays with multiple frequencies are key components in endoscopic photoacoustic imaging(PAI)systems to achieve high spatial resolution and large imaging depth for biomedical applications.In this article,we report on the development of ceramic thin-film PZT-based dual-and multi-frequency piezoelectric micromachined ultrasonic transducer(pMUT)arrays and the demonstration of their PAI applications.With chips sized 3.5mm in length or 10mm in diameter,square and ring-shaped pMUT arrays incorporating as many as 2520 pMUT elements and multiple frequencies ranging from 1 MHz to 8 MHz were developed for endoscopic PAI applications.Thin ceramic PZT with a thickness of 9μm was obtained by wafer bonding and chemical mechanical polishing(CMP)techniques and employed as the piezoelectric layer of the pMUT arrays,whose piezoelectric constant d_(31)was measured to be as high as 140 pm/V.Benefiting from this high piezoelectric constant,the fabricated pMUT arrays exhibited high electromechanical coupling coefficients and large vibration displacements.In addition to electrical,mechanical,and acoustic characterization,PAI experiments with pencil leads embedded into an agar phantom were conducted with the fabricated dual-and multi-frequency pMUT arrays.Photoacoustic signals were successfully detected by pMUT elements with different frequencies and used to reconstruct single and fused photoacoustic images,which clearly demonstrated the advantages of using dual-and multi-frequency pMUT arrays to provide comprehensive photoacoustic images with high spatial resolution and large signal-to-noise ratio simultaneously.Qincheng Zheng Haoran Wang Hao Yang Huabei Jiang Zhenfang Chen Yao Lu Philip X.-L.Feng Huikai Xie 2022Microsystems & Nanoengineering2022,8,6:1
10Prediction of decline in shale gas well production using stable carbon isotope technique显示文摘Prediction of shale gas production is a challenging task because of the complex fracture-pore networks and gas flow mechanisms in shale reservoirs.Empirical methods,which are used in the industry to forecast the future production of shale gas,have not been assessed sufficiently to warrant high confidence in their results.Methane carbon isotopic signals have been used for producing gas wells,and are controlled by physical properties and physics-controlling production;they serve as a unique indicator of the gas production status.Here,a workable process,which is combined with a gas isotope interpretation tool(also known as a numerical simulator),has been implemented in Longrnaxi shale gas wells to predict the production decline curves.The numerical simulator,which takes into account a convection-diffu-sion-adsorption model for the matrix and a convection model for fractures in^(13)CH_(4) and ^(12)CH_(4) isotopologues,was used to stabilize the carbon isotope variation in the produced gas to elucidate gas recovery.Combined with the production rates of the four developing wells,the total reserves ranged from 1.72×10^(8) to 2.02×10^(8) m^(3),which were used to constrain the trend of two-segment produc-tion decline curves that exhibited a transition from a hyperbolic equation to an exponential one within 0.82-0.89 year.Two-segment production decline curves were used to forecast future production and estimate ultimate recovery.Shengxian ZHAO Shujuan KANG Majia ZHENG Shuangfang LU Yunfeng YANG Huanxu ZHANG Yongyang LIU Ziqiang XIA Chenglin ZHANG Haoran HU Di ZHU 2021Frontiers of Earth Science2021,15,4:1
11Solving large-scale multiclass learning problems via an efficient support vector classifier显示文摘Support vector machines (SVMs) are initially designed for binary classification. How to effectively extend them for multiclass classification is still an ongoing research topic. A multiclass classifier is constructed by combining SVMlight algorithm with directed acyclic graph SVM (DAGSVM) method, named DAGSVMlight. A new method is proposed to select the working set which is identical to the working set selected by SVMlight approach. Experimental results indicate DAGSVMlight is competitive with DAGSMO. It is more suitable for practice use. 13Co-pyrolysis of sludge and kaolin/zeolite in a rotary kiln:Analysis of stabilizing heavy metals显示文摘Pyrolysis is a promising technique used for treating of sewage sludge.However,the application of pyrolysis products is limited due to the presence of heavy metals.In this study,sewage sludge mixed with kaolin/zeolite was pyrolyzed in a rotary kiln,aiming to improve the immobilization of heavy metals in pyrolytic carbon.The total concentrations,speciation distributions,leaching toxicities,and potential ecological risk indices of heavy metals in pyrolysis biochar were explored to examine the effects of kaolin/zeolite and pyrolytic temperature on immobilizing heavy metals.Further,mineral composition and surface morphology of biochar were characterized by X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy to reveal the potential mechanism of immobilizing heavy metals.Increasing pyrolysis temperature facilitated the stabilization of heavy metals in pyrolysis biochar.The proportions of stable heavy metals in biochar obtained at 650℃ were 54.50%(Cu),29.73%(Zn),79.29%(Cd),68.17%(Pb)and 86.70%(Cr).Compared to sewage sludge,the potential contamination risk index of pyrolysis biochar obtained at 650℃ was reduced to 17.01,indicating a low ecological risk.The addition of 7%kaolin/zeolite further reduced the risk index of co-pyrolysis biochar prepared at 650℃ to 10.86/15.28.The characterization of biochar revealed that increase in the pyrolysis temperature and incorporation of additives are conducive to the formation of stable heavy metal-inorganics.This study demonstrates that the formation of stable mineral compounds containing heavy metals is the key to stabilizing heavy metals in pyrolysis biochar.Qian Li Zhaoping Zhong Haoran Du Xiang Zheng Bo Zhang Baosheng Jin 2022Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2022,16,7:1
14Plasma from healthy donors protects blood-brain barrier integrity via FGF21 and improves the recovery in a mouse model of cerebral ischaemia显示文摘Background Healthy plasma therapy reverses cognitive deficits and promotes neuroplasticity in ageing brain disease.However,whether healthy plasma therapy improve blood-brain barrier integrity after stroke remains unknown.Methods Here,we intravenously injected healthy female mouse plasma into adult female ischaemic stroke C57BL/6 mouse induced by 90 min transient middle cerebral artery occlusion for eight consecutive days.Infarct volume,brain atrophy and neurobehavioural tests were examined to assess the outcomes of plasma treatment.Cell apoptosis,blood-brain barrier integrity and fibroblast growth factor 21 knockout mice were used to explore the underlying mechanism.Results Plasma injection improved neurobehavioural recovery and decreased infarct volume,brain oedema and atrophy after stroke.Immunostaining showed that the number of transferase dUTP nick end labelling+/NeuN+cells decreased in the plasma-injected group.Meanwhile,plasma injection reduced ZO-1,occluding and claudin-5 tight junction gap formation and IgG extravasation at 3 days after ischaemic stroke.Western blot results showed that the FGF21 expression increased in the plasma-injected mice.However,using FGF21 knockout mouse plasma injecting to the ischaemic wild-type mice diminished the neuroprotective effects.Conclusions Our study demonstrated that healthy adult plasma treatment protected the structural and functional integrity of blood-brain barrier,reduced neuronal apoptosis and improved functional recovery via FGF21,opening a new avenue for ischaemic stroke therapy.Muyassar Mamtilahun Lu Jiang Yaying Song Xiaojing Shi Chang Liu Yixu Jiang Lidong Deng Haoran Zheng Hui Shen Yongfang Li Zhijun Zhang Yongting Wang Yaohui Tang Guo-Yuan Yang 2021Stroke & Vascular Neurology2021,6,4:1

16Geochronology and Geochemistry of Early Cretaceous Granitic Plutons in the Xing’an Massif, Great Xing’an Range, NE China: Petrogenesis and Tectonic Implications显示文摘In this study, we present zircon U-Pb ages, whole-rock geochemical data and Hf isotopic compositions for the Meiguifeng and Arxan plutons in Xing’an Massif, Great Xing’an Range, which can provide important information in deciphering both Mesozoic magmatism and tectonic evolution of NE China. The zircon U-Pb dating results indicate that alkali feldspar granite from Meiguifeng pluton was emplaced at ~145 to 137 Ma, and granite porphyry of Arxan pluton was formed at ~129 Ma. The Meiguifeng and Arxan plutons have similar geochemical features, which are characterized by high silica, total alkalis, differentiation index, with low P2O5, CaO, MgO, TFe2O3 contents. They belong to high-K calc-alkaline series, and show weakly peraluminous characteristics. The Meiguifeng and Arxan plutons are both enriched in LREEs and LILEs(e.g., Rb, Th, U and K), and depleted in HREEs and HFSEs(e.g., Nb, Ta and Ti). Combined with the petrological and geochemical features, the Meiguifeng and Arxan plutons show highly fractionated I-type granite affinity. Moreover, the Meiguifeng and Arxan plutons may share a common or similar magma source, and they were probably generated by partial melting of Neoproterozoic high-K basaltic crust. Meanwhile, plagioclase, K-feldspar, biotite, apatite, monazite, allanite and Ti-bearing phases fractionated from the magma during formation of Meiguifeng and Arxan plutons. Combined with spatial distribution and temporal evolution, we assume that the generation of Early Cretaceous Meiguifeng and Arxan plutons in Great Xing’an Range was closely related to the break-off of Mudanjiang oceanic plate. 17Phase transferring luminescent gold nanoclusters via single-stranded DNA显示文摘Atomically precise gold nanoclusters(Au NCs) are an emerging class of quantum-sized nanomaterials with discrete electronic energy levels, which has led to a range of attractive electronic and optical applications. Nevertheless, the lack of general methods to transfer Au NCs protected with hydrophobic ligands to an aqueous solution hampers their use in physiological settings. Here,we developed a single-stranded DNA-based approach that could transfer ~90% hydrophobic Au NCs into an aqueous solution.We experimentally and theoretically established that multivalent electrostatic and hydrophobic interactions between DNA strands and the hydrophobic ligand layer on Au NCs resulted in monodispersed DNA-coated Au NCs with high physical integrity in an aqueous solution. The fluorescence quantum yield of Au NCs was increased by ~13 fold, and surface-constrained DNA retained the specific recognition ability for biosensing. 20Peripheral body temperature rhythm is associated with suicide risk in major depressive disorder:a case-control study显示文摘Background Patients with major depressive disorder(MDD)may have an abnormal peripheral body temperature rhythm,but its relationship with suicidal risk and the response to treatment with antidepressants remain unknown.Aims This study aimed to investigate the feature of peripheral body temperature in patients with MDD and its relationship with suicide risk before and after treatment with antidepressants.Methods This is a prospective case-control study.Patients diagnosed as MDD were enrolled into MDD group.Healthy subjects who matched in terms of gender,age and body mass index were enrolled into normal control(NC)group.The 24-hour peripheral body temperatures were monitored by TM’Holter the next day after assessment.Patients with MDD were re-assessed after a 2-week treatment with antidepressants.All temperature data were fitted into cosine curves by Python.Result There were 41 patients with MDD,and 21 NC participants enrolled and completed the baseline assessments before the treatment.Patients with MDD were further divided into subgroup of with suicide risk or without suicide risk.In patients with MDD,the mesor of peripheral body temperature rhythm was higher in both patients with(36.17(0.30))and without suicide risk(36.22(0.27))than the mesor in NC participants before treatment(35.84(0.38),Z=11.82,p=0.003,Kruskal-Wallis test).The phase-delay of temperature before treatment was greater in patients with MDD with suicidal risk(4.71(1.68))in comparison with those without suicidal risk(3.05(2.19))and NC participants(3.19(1.82),Z=9.68,p=0.008,Kruskal-Wallis test).Moreover,phase-delay of temperature was associated with suicide risk in patients with MDD before treatment(OR=1.046,95%CI:1.009 to 1.085,p=0.015,unadjusted;OR=1.080,95%CI:1.020 to 1.144,p=0.009,adjusted by age and sex).Conclusion Patients with MDD might have abnormal peripheral body temperature.The abnormal phase-delay of peripheral body temperature may indicate suicide risk in patients with MDD,depending on validation in large-scale cohorts.Xin Ma Jing Cao Hailin Zheng Xinchun Mei Meijuan Wang Haoran Wang Yu Shuai Yuan Shen 2021General Psychiatry2021,34,1:1
