| 1 | Wind power prediction based on variational mode decomposition multi-frequency combinations显示文摘Because of the uncertainty and randomness of wind speed, wind power has characteristics such as nonlinearity and multiple frequencies. Accurate prediction of wind power is one effective means of improving wind power integration. Because the traditional single model cannot fully characterize the fluctuating characteristics of wind power, scholars have attempted to build other prediction models based on empirical mode decomposition(EMD) or ensemble empirical mode decomposition(EEMD) to tackle this problem. However, the prediction accuracy of these models is affected by modal aliasing and illusive components. Aimed at these defects, this paper proposes a multi-frequency combination prediction model based on variational mode decomposition(VMD). We use a back propagation neural network(BPNN),autoregressive moving average(ARMA)model, and least square support vector machine(LS-SVM) to predict high, intermediate,and low frequency components,respectively. Based on the predicted values of each component, the BPNN is applied to combine them into a final wind power prediction value.Finally,the prediction performance of the single prediction models(ARMA,BPNN and LS-SVM)and the decomposition prediction models(EMD and EEMD) are used to compare with the proposed VMD model according to the evaluation indices such as average absolute error, mean square error,and root mean square error to validate its feasibility and accuracy. | 5 | Science with the 2.5-meter Wide Field Survey Telescope(WFST)显示文摘The Wide Field Survey Telescope(WFST) is a dedicated photometric surveying facility being built jointly by University of Science and Technology of China(USTC) and the Purple Mountain Observatory(PMO). It is equipped with a 2.5-meter diameter primary mirror, an active optics system, and a mosaic CCD camera with 0.73 gigapixels on the primary focal plane for highquality image capture over a 6.5-square-degree field of view. The installation of WFST near the summit of Saishiteng mountain in the Lenghu region is scheduled in summer of 2023, and the operation is planned to start three months later. WFST will scan the northern sky in four optical bands(u, g, r and i) at cadences from hourly/daily in the deep high-cadence survey(DHS) program, to semi-weekly in the wide field survey(WFS) program. During a photometric night, a nominal 30 s exposure in the WFS program will reach a depth of 22.27, 23.32, 22.84, and 22.31(AB magnitudes) in these four bands, respectively, allowing for the detection of a tremendous amount of transients in the low-z universe and a systematic investigation of the variability of Galactic and extragalactic objects. In the DHS program, intranight 90 s exposures as deep as 23(u) and 24 mag(g), in combination with target of opportunity follow-ups, will provide a unique opportunity to explore energetic transients in demand for high sensitivities, including the electromagnetic counterparts of gravitational wave events, supernovae within a few hours of their explosions,tidal disruption events and fast, luminous optical transients even beyond redshift of unity. In addition, the final 6-year co-added images, anticipated to reach g■25.8 mag in WFS or 1.5 mags deeper in DHS, will be of fundamental importance to general Galactic and extragalactic science. The highly uniform legacy surveys of WFST will serve as an indispensable complement to those of the Vera C. | 8 | Yes-associated protein contributes to magnesium alloy-derivedinflammation in endothelial cells显示文摘Magnesium alloy(Mg alloy)has attracted massive attention in the potential applications of cardiovascular stents because of its good biocompatibility and degradability.However,whether and how the Mg alloy induces inflammation in endothelial cells remains unclear.In the present work,we investigated the activation of Yes-associated protein(YAP)upon Mg alloy stimuli and unveiled the transcriptional function in Mg alloy-induced inflammation.Quantitative RT–PCR,western blotting and immunofluorescence staining showed that Mg alloy inhibited the Hippo pathway to facilitate nuclear shuttling and activation of YAP in human coronary artery endothelial cells(HCAECs).Chromatin immunoprecipitation followed sequencing was carried out to explore the transcriptional function of YAP in Mg alloy-derived inflammation.This led to the observation that nuclear YAP further bonded to the promoter region of inflammation transcription factors and co-transcription factors.This binding event activated their transcription and modified mRNA methylation of inflammation-related genes through regulating the expression of N6-methyladenosine modulators(METTL3,METTL14,FTO and WTAP).This then promoted inflammation-related gene expression and aggravated inflammation in HCAECs.In YAP deficiency cells,Mg alloy-induced inflammation was reduced.Collectively,our data suggest that YAP contributes to the Mg alloy-derived inflammation in HCAECs and may provide a potential therapeutic target that alleviates inflammation after Mg alloy stent implantation. | Hongchi Yu Zhe Hou Nuoya Chen Rifang Luo Li Yang Michael Miao Xiaoyi Ma Lifeng Zhou Fugui He Yang Shen Xiaoheng Liu Yunbing Wang | 2022 | Regenerative Biomaterials2022,9,1: | 0 |

| 11 | Wind Power Prediction Based on Variational Mode Decomposition and Feature Selection显示文摘Accurate wind power prediction can scientifically arrange wind power output and timely adjust power system dispatching plans. Wind power is associated with its uncertainty,multi-frequency and nonlinearity for it is susceptible to climatic factors such as temperature, air pressure and wind speed.Therefore, this paper proposes a wind power prediction model combining multi-frequency combination and feature selection.Firstly, the variational mode decomposition(VMD) is used to decompose the wind power data, and the sub-components with different fluctuation characteristics are obtained and divided into high-, intermediate-, and low-frequency components according to their fluctuation characteristics. Then, a feature set including historical data of wind power and meteorological factors is established, which chooses the feature sets of each component by using the max-relevance and min-redundancy(m RMR) feature selection method based on mutual information selected from the above set. Each component and its corresponding feature set are used as an input set for prediction afterwards. Thereafter, the high-frequency input set is predicted using back propagation neural network(BPNN), and the intermediate-and low-frequency input sets are predicted using least squares support vector machine(LS-SVM). After obtaining the prediction results of each component, BPNN is used for integration to obtain the final predicted value of wind power, and the ramping rate is verified. | 12 | Fabrication of a High-Performance and Reusable Planar Face Mask in Response to the COVID-19 Pandemic显示文摘The coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic has caused a surge in demand for face masks,with the massive consumption of masks leading to an increase in resource-related and environmental con-cerns.In this work,we fabricated meltblown polypropylene(mb-PP)-based high-performance planar face masks and investigated the effects of six commonly used disinfection methods and various mask-wearing periods on the reusability of these masks.The results show that,after three cycles of treatment using hot water at 70℃ for 30 min,which is one of the most scalable,user-friendly methods for viral disinfection,the particle filtration efficiency(PFE)of the mask remained almost unchanged.After mask wearing for 24 h and subsequent disinfection using the same treatment procedures,the PFE decreased to 91.3%;the average number of bacterial and fungal colonies was assessed to be 9.2 and 51.6 colony-forming units per gram(CFU∙g^(-1)),respectively;and coliform and pyogenic bacteria were not detected.Both the PFE and the microbial indicators are well above the standard for reusable masks after disinfection.Schlieren pho-tography was then used to assess the capabilities of used and disinfected masks during use;it showed that the masks exhibit a high performance in suppressing the spread of breathed air. | Shui Hu Hongchi Tian Shijia Zhang Dan Wang Guozhuo Gong Weihua Yue Keyang Liu Song Hong Rui Wang Qingqing Yuan Yonglai Lu Dong Wang Liqun Zhang Jianfeng Chen | 2022 | Engineering2022,8,2: | 0 |
