3Assessment and sequencing of air target threat based on intuitionistic fuzzy entropy and dynamic VIKOR显示文摘In view of the fact that traditional air target threat assessment methods are difficult to reflect the combat characteristics of uncertain, dynamic and hybrid formation, an algorithm is proposed to solve the multi-target threat assessment problems. The target attribute weight is calculated by the intuitionistic fuzzy entropy(IFE) algorithm and the time series weight is gained by the Poisson distribution method based on multi-times data. 5Memetic computation based on regulation between neural and immune systems: the framework and a case study显示文摘Lamarckian learning has been introduced into evolutionary computation to enhance the ability of local search. The relevant research topic, memetic computation, has received significant amount of interest. In this study, a novel memetic computational framework is proposed by simulating the integrated regulation between neural and immune systems. The Lamarckian learning strategy of simulating the unidirectional regulation of neural system on immune system is designed. Consequently, an immune memetic algorithm based on the Lamarckian learning is proposed for numerical optimization. The proposed algorithm combines the advantages of immune algorithms and mathematical programming, and performs well in both global and local search. 7Paeoniflorin Attenuates Myocardial Fibrosis in Isoprenaline-induced Chronic Heart F ailure Rats via Inhibiting P38 MA PK Pathway显示文摘Paconiflorin(Pae)is a monoterpenoid glycoside compound and has many biological activitics,such as immunosuppression,anti-inflammation and anti-cell proliferation.However,the effects and mechanisms of Pae on chronic heart failure(CHF)remain unclear.This study was conducted to assess the effects and mechanisms of Pae on myocardial fibrosis in isoprenaline(Iso)-induced CHF rats.Pae(20 mgkg)was intragastrically administrated to CHF rats for 6 weeks.Cardiac structure and function were assessed.The protein and mRNA levels of transforming growth factorβ1(TGF-β1)and p38 were detected.C ompared to Iso group,Pae could alleviate myocardial fbrosis and improve cardiac function in CHF rats.The levels of collagen volume fraction(13.75%+3.77%vs.30.97%+4.22%,P<0.001)and perivascular collagen volume area(14.32%+2.50%v8.28.31%+3.16%,P<0.001)were significantly reduced in Pae group as compared with those in Iso group.The expression of TGF-BI protein(0.30+0.07 vs.0.66+0.07,P<0.05)and mRNA(3.51+0.44 vs.7.58+0.58,P<0.05)decreased significantly in Pac group as compared with that in Iso group.The expression of p38 protein(0.36+0.12 vs.0.81+0.38,P<0.05)and mRNA(3.84+0.05 vs.4.40+0.17,P<0.05)also decreased markedly in Pae group as compared with that in Iso group.Pae could attenuate myocardial fibrosis and improve cardiac function in CHF rats by down-regulating the p38 MAPK signaling pathway.Mao LIU Jie FENG Qian DU Jiao AI Zhan LV 2020Current Medical Science2020,40,2:11
8Alginate oligosaccharide-induced intestinal morphology, barrier function and epithelium apoptosis modifications have beneficial effects on the growth performance of weaned pigs显示文摘Background: Alginate oligosaccharide(AOS), produced from alginate by alginate lyase-mediated depolymerisation, is a potential substitute for antibiotics and possesses growth-enhancing effects. Nevertheless, the mechanisms by which AOS regulates porcine growth remain to be elucidated. Therefore, we investigated the AOS-mediated changes in the growth performance of weaned pigs by determining the intestinal morphology, barrier function,as well as epithelium apoptosis.Methods: Twenty-four weaned pigs were distributed into two groups(n = 12) and received either a basal diet(control group) or the same diet supplemented with 100 mg/kg AOS. On d 15, D-xylose(0.1 g/kg body weight)was orally administrated to eight randomly selected pigs per treatment, and their serum and intestinal mucosa samples were collected 1 h later.Results: Our results showed that inclusion of AOS in the diet for 2 wk increased(P < 0.05) the average daily body weight gain in weaned pigs. Notably, AOS supplementation ameliorated the intestinal morphology and barrier function, as suggested by the enhanced(P < 0.05) intestinal villus height, secretory immunoglobulin A content and goblet cell counts. Compared to the control group, AOS ingestion both decreased(P < 0.05) the total apoptotic percentage and increased(P < 0.05) the proportion of S phase in the intestinal epithelial cells. 9Protective Effects of Chaihu Shugan San(柴胡疏肝散) on Nonalcoholic Fatty Liver Disease in Rats with Insulin Resistance显示文摘Objective: To investigate the protective effects of Chinese medicine formulation Chaihu Shugan San(柴胡疏肝散, CHSGS) on nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD) in rats with insulin resistance(IR) and its molecular mechanisms. Methods: Male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into six groups: the control group, the model group, Dongbao Gantai group(东宝肝泰, DBGT, 0.09 g methionine/kg), CHSGS high-dose group(CHSG-H, 12.6 g crude drug/kg), CHSGS medium-dose group(CHSG-M, 6.3 g crude drug/kg), and CHSGS low-dose group(CHSG-L, 3.15 g crude drug/kg). After establishing the NAFLD rat model and treatment for 8 weeks, total cholesterol(TC), triglyceride(TG), high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C), free fatty acid(FFA), fasting blood glucose(FBG), fasting insulin(FINS) contents in blood serum, and TC, TG contents in the hepatic homogenate were measured by an automatic biochemical analyzer, and a homeostasis model assessment was applied to assess the status of IR, insulin sensitivity index(ISI), and homeostasis model assessment for insulin secretion(HOMA-IS). The expression levels of adiponectin and leptin mRNA in liver tissue were analyzed by reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction. Pathological changes of livers were observed by hematoxylineosin staining of paraffin section. Results: Compared with the model group, the serum levels of TC, TG, FFA, FBG, FINS, IRI, ISI, and the liver levels of TC and TG in CHSG-H, CHSG-M, CHSG-L groups showed significant declines(P<0.01 or P<0.05); the serum levels of HDL-C, HOMA-IS were significantly increased(P<0.01 or P<0.05); the expression of leptin mRNA was dramatically decreased and the expression of adiponectin mRNA was increased in the hepatic tissue(P<0.01 or P<0.05). The fatty deposition of liver cells could also be alleviated. 13Polycomb chromobox 4 enhances migration and pulmonary metastasis of hepatocellular carcinoma cell line MHCC97L显示文摘We recently report that the expression of polycomb chromobox 4(Cbx4)is significantly correlated with the overall survival of a great cohort of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)patients and it enhances hypoxia-induced vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)expression and angiogenesis in HCC cells through enhancing sumoylation of hypoxia inducible factor-1alpha(HIF-1α).Here we continue to investigate the potential effects of Cbx4 on the migration and metastasis of the metastatic HCC cell line MHCC97L.Our results show that Cbx4 overexpression in the cell line increases the in vitro vessel formation of vascular endothelial cells in its SUMO interaction motifs-dependent manner,and promotes the in vitro migration of the cancer cell,which can be effectively abrogated by anti-VEGF antibody.Although Cbx4 expression does not impact the in vitro growth of MHCC97L cells,it still promotes the progression and metastasis of orthotopically transplanted tumors in nude mice.These results further support the role of Cbx4 as a SUMO E3 ligase in the progression and metastasis of HCC.MEI Zhu JIAO HuiKe WANG Wei LI Jie CHEN GuoQiang XU Ying 2014Science China(Life Sciences)2014,57,6:9
14Electroactive barium titanate coated titanium scaffold improves osteogenesis and osseointegration with low-intensity pulsed ultrasound for large segmental bone defects显示文摘For large segmental bone defects,porous titanium scaffolds have some advantages,however,they lack electrical activity which hinders their further use.In this study,a barium titanate(BaTiO3)piezoelectric ceramic was used to modify the surface of a porous Ti6Al4V scaffold(pTi),which was characterized by scanning electron microscopy,energy dispersive spectroscopy,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,and roughness and water contact angle analyses.Low intensity pulsed ultrasound(LIPUS)was applied in vitro and in vivo study.The activity of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells,including adhesion,proliferation,and gene expression,was significantly superior in the BaTiO3/pTi,pTi+LIPUS,and BaTiO3/pTi+LIPUS groups than in the pTi group.The activity was also higher in the BaTiO3/pTi+LIPUS group than in the BaTiO3/pTi and pTi+LIPUS groups.Additionally,micro-computed tomography,the mineral apposition rate,histomorphology,and the peak pull-out load showed that these scaffold conditions significantly enhanced osteogenesis and osseointegration 6 and 12 weeks after implantation in large segmental bone defects in the radius of rabbits compared with those resulting from the pTi condition.Consequently,the improved osteogenesis and osseointegration make the BaTiO3/pTi+LIPUS a promising method to promote bone regeneration in large segmental bone defects for clinical application.Bo Fan Zheng Guo Xiaokang Li Songkai Li Peng Gao Xin Xiao Jie Wu Chao Shen Yilai Jiao Wentao Hou 2020Bioactive Materials2020,5,4:9

17Aligned Graphene Nanoribbons and Crossbars from Unzipped Carbon Nanotubes显示文摘Aligned graphene nanoribbon (GNR) arrays have been made by unzipping of aligned single-walled and few-walled carbon nanotube (CNT) arrays. Nanotube unzipping was achieved by a polymer-protected Ar plasma etching method, and the resulting nanoribbon array can be transferred onto any chosen substrate. Atomic force microscope (AFM) imaging and Raman mapping on the same CNTs before and after unzipping confirmed that ~80% of CNTs were opened up to form single layer sub-10 nm GNRs. Electrical devices made from the GNRs (after annealing in H2 at high temperature) showed on/off current (Ion/Ioff) ratios up to 103 at room temperature, suggesting the semiconducting nature of the narrow GNRs. Novel GNR-GNR and GNR-CNT crossbars were fabricated by transferring GNR arrays across GNR and CNT arrays, respectively. 20Zinc finger protein A20 protects rats against chronic liver allograft dysfunction显示文摘AIM:To investigate the effect of zinc finger protein A20 on chronic liver allograft dysfunction in rats.METHODS:Allogeneic liver transplantation from DA rats to Lewis rats was performed.Chronic liver allograft dysfunction was induced in the rats by administering low-dose tacrolimus at postoperative day (POD) 5.Hepatic overexpression of A20 was achieved by recombinant adenovirus (rAd.)-mediated gene transfer administered intravenously every 10 d starting from POD 10.The recipient rats were injected with physiological saline,rAdEasy-A20 (1 × 109 pfu/30 g weight) or rAdEasy (1 × 109 pfu/30 g weight) every 10 d through the tail vein for 3 mo starting from POD 10.Liver tissue samples were harvested on POD 30 and POD 60.RESULTS:Liver-transplanted rats treated with only tacrolimus showed chronic allograft dysfunction with severe hepatic fibrosis.A20 overexpression ameliorated the effects on liver function,attenuated liver allograft fibrosis and prolonged the survival of the recipient rats.Treatment with A20 suppressed hepatic protein production of tumor growth factor (TGF)1,interleukin1 ,caspase-8,CD40,CD40L,intercellular adhesion molecule-1,vascular cell adhesion molecule-1 and E-selectin.A20 treatment suppressed liver cell apoptosis and inhibited nuclear factorB activation of Kupffer cells (KCs),liver sinusoidal endothelial cells (LSECs) and hepatic stellate cells (HSCs),and it subsequently decreased cytokine mRNA expression in KCs and LSECs and reduced the production of TGF1 in HSCs.CONCLUSION:A20 might prevent chronic liver allograft dysfunction by re-establishing functional homeostasis of KCs,LSECs and HSCs.Jie Yang Ming-Qing Xu Lu-Nan Yan Xiao-Bo Chen Jiao Liu 2012World Journal of Gastroenterology2012,18,27:6
