| 2 | On-line near-infrared spectroscopy optimizing and monitoring biotransformation process of γ-aminobutyric acid显示文摘Near-infrared spectroscopy(NIRS) with its fast and nondestructive advantages can be qualified for the real-time quantitative analysis.This paper demonstrates that NIRS combined with partial least squares(PLS) regression can be used as a rapid analytical method to simultaneously quantify L-glutamic acid(LGlu) and γ-aminobutyric acid(GABA) in a biotransformation process and to guide the optimization of production conditions when the merits of NIRS are combined with response surface methodology.The high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC) reference analysis was performed by the o-phthaldialdehyde pre-column derivatization.NIRS measurements of two batches of 141 samples were firstly analyzed by PLS with several spectral pre-processing methods.Compared with those of the HPLC reference analysis,the resulting determination coefficients(R^2),root mean square error of prediction(RMSEP) and residual predictive deviation(RPD) of the external validation for the L-Glu concentration were 99.5%,1.62 g/L,and11.3,respectively.For the GABA concentration,R^2,RMSEP,and RPD were 99.8%,4.00 g/L,and 16.4,respectively.This NIRS model was then used to optimize the biotransformation process through a BoxBehnken experimental design.Under the optimal conditions without p H adjustment,200 g/L L-Glu could be catalyzed by 7148 U/L glutamate decarboxylase(GAD) to GABA,reaching 99% conversion at the fifth hour.NIRS analysis provided timely information on the conversion from L-Glu to GABA.The results suggest that the NIRS model can not only be used for the routine profiling of enzymatic conversion,providing a simple and effective method of monitoring the biotransformation process of GABA,but also be considered to be an optimal tool to guide the optimization of production conditions. | Guoyu Ding Yuanyuan Hou Jiamin Peng Yunbing Shen Min Jiang Gang Bai | 2016 | Journal of Pharmaceutical Analysis2016,6,3: | 2 |

| 5 | Stoichiometric effect on electrical and near-infrared photodetection properties of full-composition-range GaAs1−xSbx nanowires显示文摘As one of the most important narrow bandgap ternary semiconductors, GaAs1−xSbx nanowires (NWs) have attracted extensive attention recently, due to the superior hole mobility and the tunable bandgap, which covers the whole near-infrared (NIR) region, for technological applications in next-generation high-performance electronics and NIR photodetection. However, it is still a challenge to the synthesis of high-quality GaAs1−xSbx NWs across the entire range of composition, resulting in the lack of correlation investigation among stoichiometry, microstructure, electronics, and NIR photodetection. Here, we demonstrate the success growth of high-quality GaAs1−xSbx NWs with full composition range by adopting a simple and low-cost surfactant-assisted solid source chemical vapor deposition method. All of the as-prepared NWs are uniform, smooth, and straight, without any phase segregation in all stoichiometric compositions. The lattice constants of each NW composition have been well correlated with the chemical stoichiometry and confirmed by high-resolution transmission electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, and Raman spectrum. Moreover, with the increase of Sb concentration, the hole mobility of the as-fabricated field-effect-transistors and the responsivity and detectivity of the as-fabricated NIR photodetectors increase accordingly. | 9 | Effects of Nitrogen Top-dressing Levels on Carbon-nitrogen Metabolism and Yield of Desmodium styracifoliumon显示文摘In order to research effects of the nitrogen top-dressing levels on carbon-nitrogen metabolism and yield of Desmodium styracifolium, a field experiment was conducted on the research farm of Guangxi University in 2007. Some physiological indexes and yield of D. styracifolium were compared among five nitrogen top-dressing levels (0, 37.5, 75.0, 112.5 and 150.0 kg N · hm-2). Results showed that the nitrogen top-dressing could significantly increase the contents of chlorophyll, soluble protein, sucrose and nitrogen as well as nitrate reducase activity. However, there were no significant differences in most of these indexes under high nitrogen levels. Consistently, there was no significant difference in yield among nitrogen top-dressing levels of 75 kg N · hm-2, 112.5 kg N · hm-2 and 150 kg N · hm-2. | 10 | Chchd10 is dispensable for myogenesis but critical for adipose browning显示文摘The Chchd10 gene encodes a coiled-coil-helix-coiled-coil-helix-domain containing protein predicted to function in the mitochondrion and nucleus.Mutations of Chchd10 are associated with ALS,dementia and myopathy in humans and animal models,but how knockout of Chchd10(Chchd10KO)affects various tissues especially skeletal muscle and adipose tissues remains unclear.Here we show that Chchd10 expression increases as myoblasts and preadipocytes dif-ferentiate.During myogenesis,CHCHD10 interacts with TAR DNA binding protein 43(TDP-43)in regenerating myofib-ers in vivo and in newly differentiated myotubes ex vivo.Surprisingly,Chchd10KO mice had normal skeletal muscle development,growth and regeneration,with moderate defects in grip strength and motor performance.Chchd10KO similarly had no effects on development of brown and white adipose tissues(WAT).However,Chchd10KO mice had blunted response to acute cold and attenuated cold-induced browning of WAT,with markedly reduced UCP1 levels.Together,these results demonstrate that Chchd10 is dispensable for normal myogenesis and adipogenesis but is required for normal motility and cold-induced,mitochondrion-dependent browning of adipocytes.The data also sug-gest that human CHCHD10 mutations cause myopathy through a gain-of-function mechanism. | Wei Xia Jiamin Qiu Ying Peng Madigan MSnyder Lijie Gu Kuilong Huang Nanjian Luo Feng Yue Shihuan Kuang | 2022 | Cell Regeneration2022,11,1: | 0 |
| 11 | Influence of Pd deposition pH value on the performance of Pd-CuO/SiO_(2) catalyst for semi-hydrogenation of 2-methyl-3-butyn-2-ol(MBY)显示文摘The selective hydrogenation of C≡C to C=C bonds is an important step,yet remains to be a great challenge in chemical industry.In this study,we have revealed the influence of Pd deposition pH value on the catalytic performance of Pd-CuO/SiO_(2)catalyst for the semi-hydrogenation of 2-methyl-3-butyn-2-ol(MBY).Trace amount of Pd(about 500 ppm)was loaded via deposition-reduction method on CuO/SiO_(2)support by using H_(2)PdCl_(4) solution as precursor and NaBH_(4)as reductant,respectively.The pH value at which Pd was deposited was adjusted to about 5 and 7 by adding NaOH solution.The obtained catalysts were characterized by several techniques including XRD,TEM,H_(2)-TPR,etc.In the case of pH value of 5,the CuO was partially dissolved during the deposition and then co-reduced with Pd^(2+)by NaBH_(4),forming PdCu alloy structure in sub-nanometer.In contrast,no PdCu alloy structure was observed when pH value was 7.The kinetics of MBY semi-hydrogenation over both catalysts were compared.The former PdCu alloy catalyst showed very high selectivity towards the semi-hydrogenation of MBY due to its low activity in hydrogenation of C=C bond in 2-methyl-3-buten-2-ol(MBE).The results herein demonstrated that the pH value where Pd was deposited played a crucial role in determining the catalytic performance of PdCu catalyst. | Jiamin Xu Xiaowen Guo Yejun Guan Peng Wu | 2022 | Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,1: | 0 |

| 13 | Home Blood Pressure Monitoring and Its Association With Blood Pressure Control Among Hypertensive Patients With High Cardiovascular Risk in China显示文摘Objective:Home blood pressure monitoring(HBPM)is viewed as a facilitating factor in the initial diagnosis and long-term management of treated hypertension.However,evidence remains scarce about the effectiveness of HBPM use in the real world.This study aimed to examine the associations of HBPM use with blood pressure(BP)control and medication adherence.Methods:This prospective cohort study included hypertensive patients with high cardiovascular risk who were aged≥50 years.At baseline,information about types of BP monitor,frequency of HBPM,perception of anti-hypertensive treatment,and measured office BP were collected.During the 1-year follow-up(visits at 1,2,3,6,and 12 months),information on medication adherence was collected at each visit.The 2 major outcomes were BP control at baseline and medication adherence during the 1-year follow-up.A log-binomial regression model was used to examine the association between frequency of HBPM and outcomes,stratified by the perceptions of anti-hypertensive treatment.Results:A total of 5,363 hypertensive patients were included in the analysis.The age was(64.6±7.2)years,and 41.2%(2,208)were female.Of the total patients,85.9%(4,606)had a home BP monitor and 47.8%(2,564)had an incorrect perception of anti-hypertensive treatment.Overall,24.2%(1,299)of patients monitored their BP daily,37.6%(2,015)weekly,17.3%(926)monthly,and 20.9%(1,123)less than monthly.At baseline,the systolic BP and diastolic BP were(146.6±10.8)mmHg and(81.9±10.6)mmHg,respectively,and 28.5%(1,527)of patients had their BP controlled.Regardless of whether the patients had correct or incorrect perceptions of anti-hypertensive treatment,there is no significant association between HBPM frequency and BP control at baseline.During the 1-year follow-up,23.9%(1,280)of patients had non-adherence to medications at least once.In patients with an incorrect perception of anti-hypertensive treatment,those monitoring BP most frequently(daily)had the highest non-adherence rate(29.9%,175/585).Compared with those monitoring their BP less than monthly,patients who monitored their BP daily were more likely not to adhere to anti-hypertensive medications(adjusted relative risk=1.38,95%confidence interval:1.11–1.72,P=0.004).Conclusions:HBPM performance among hypertensive patients in China is,in general,sub-optimal.No association was observed between using HBPM alone and hypertension control,indicating that the effects of HBPM could be conditional.Patients’misconceptions about anti-hypertensive treatment may impair the role of BP monitoring in achieving medication adherence.Fully incorporating the correct perception of hypertension into the management of hypertensive patients is needed. | Jiaying Li Aoxi Tian Jiamin Liu Jinzhuo Ge Yue Peng Xiaoming Su Jing Li | 2024 | Cardiology Discovery2024,4,1: | 0 |

| 18 | Simulation of Offshore Wind Turbine Blade Docking Based on the Stewart Platform显示文摘The windy environment is the main cause affecting the efficiency of offshore wind turbine installation.In order to improve the stability and efficiency of single-blade installation of offshore wind turbines under high wind speed conditions,the Stewart platform is used as an auxiliary tool to help dock the wind turbine blade in this paper.In order to verify the effectiveness of the Stewart platform for blade docking,a blade docking simulation system consisting of the Stewart platform,wind turbine blade,and wind load calculation module was built based on Simulink/SimscapeMultibody.At the same time,the PID algorithm is used to control the Stewart platform so that the blade can effectively track the desired trajectory during the docking process to ensure the successful docking of the blade.Through the simulation of the docking process for blades with a length of 61.5 meters,this paper successfully demonstrates a docking system that might facilitate future docking processes.It also shows that the Stewart platform can effectively reduce the vibration and the movement range of the blade root and improve the stability and efficiency of blade docking. | Yi Zhang Jiamin Guo Huanghua Peng | 2023 | Energy Engineering2023,120,11: | 0 |
