1Effects of long-term fertilization with different substitution ratios of organic fertilizer on paddy soil显示文摘In recent years,the abuse of chemical fertilizers has caused numerous environmental problems,such as soil acidification and compaction.Replacing chemical fertilizers with organic fertilizers can effectively alleviate these problems.However,the effects of alternative organic fertilizers remain unclear.To explore the effects of organic fertilizer substitution on rice yield and paddy soil physicochemical properties and bacterial community structure,we conducted a 5-year experiment using different proportions of organic fertilizer substitution in a double-cropping rice field in Jiangxi,China.Our results showed that replacing chemical fertilizers with organic fertilizers can reduce soil acidification,increase soil organic matter content,nutrient contents,and enzyme activities,improve soil physicochemical properties and microbial community,and enhance soil metabolism.Appropriate organic substitution also had positive effects on rice production.These findings enhance our understanding of the effects of different alternative organic fertilization methods and have important theoretical significance for the promotion of the use of organic fertilizers in the future.Weifeng SONG Aiping SHU Jiai LIU Wenchong SHI Mingcong LI Wenxue ZHANG Zuzhang LI Guangrong LIU Fusheng YUAN Shuxin ZHANG Zengbing LIU Zheng GAO 2022Pedosphere2022,32,4:7
2Molecular cloning and ontogenesis expression of fatty acid transport protein-1 in yellow-feathered broilers显示文摘Fatty acid transport protein-1 (FATP-1) is one of the important transporter proteins involved in fatty acid transmembrane transport and fat deposition. To study the relationship between FATP-1 mRNA expression and fat deposition,chicken (Gallus gallus) FATP-1 sequence was first cloned by rapid amplification of cDNA ends (RACE). Tissue samples of chest muscle,leg muscle,subcutaneous fat,and ab-dominal fat were collected from six male and six female broilers each,at 22 days,29 days,and 42 days,respectively. The tissue specific-ity and ontogenesis expression pattern of the FATP-1 mRNA of yellow-feathered broilers was studied by real-time reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR),and the fat deposition laws in different tissues were also compared. A 2,488 bp cDNA sequence of chicken FATP-1 was cloned by RACE (GenBank accession no. DQ352834),including 547 bp 3′ end untranslated region (URT) and 1,941 bp open reading frame (ORF). Chicken FATP-1 encoded 646 amino acid residues,which shared 83.9% and 83.0% identity with those of human and rat,respectively. The results of quantitative PCR demonstrated a constant FATP-1 mRNA expression level in the chest muscle and subcutaneous fat of both male and female broilers at three stages,whereas the expression level of the FATP-1 mRNA in the leg mus-cle at 42 days was significantly higher than that at 22 days or 29 days. In the abdominal fat of male broilers,the gene expression signifi-cantly increased with age,whereas the female broilers showed a dramatic downregulation of FATP-1 expression in abdominal fat at 42 days. 4Measurement of hydrogen peroxide and organic hydroperoxide concentrations during autumn in Beijing, China显示文摘Gaseous peroxides play important roles in atmospheric chemistry. To understand the pathways of the formation and removal of peroxides, atmospheric peroxide concentrations and their controlling factors were measured from 7:00 to 20:00 in September, October, and November 2013 at a heavily trafficked residential site in Beijing, China, with average concentrations of hydrogen peroxide(H_2O_2) and methyl hydroperoxide(MHP) at 0.55 ppb and 0.063 ppb, respectively. H_2O_2 concentrations were higher in the afternoon and lower in the morning and evening, while MHP concentrations did not exhibit a regular diurnal pattern. Both H_2O_2 and MHP concentrations increased at dusk in most cases. Both peroxides displayed monthly variations with higher concentrations in September. These results suggested that photochemical activity was the main controlling factor on variations of H_2O_2 concentrations during the measurement period. Increasing concentrations of volatile organic compounds emitted by motor vehicles were important contributors to H_2O_2 and MHP enrichment. 5Comparing dark-and photo-Fenton-like degradation of emerging pollutant over photo-switchable Bi2WO6/CuFe2O4: Investigation on dominant reactive oxidation species显示文摘The extensive use of tetracycline hydrochloride(TCH)poses a threat to human health and the aquatic environment.Here,magnetic p-n Bi2WO6/CuFe2O4 catalyst was fabricated to efficiently remove TCH.The obtained Bi2WO6/CuFe2O4 exhibited 92.1%TCH degradation efficiency and 50.7%and 35.1%mineralization performance for TCH and raw secondary effluent from a wastewater treatment plant in a photo-Fenton-like system,respectively.The remarkable performance was attributed to the fact that photogenerated electrons accelerated the Fe(III)/Fe(II)and Cu(II)/Cu(I)conversion for the Fenton-like reaction between Fe(II)/Cu(I)and H2O2,thereby generating abundant·OH for pollutant oxidation.Various environmental factors including H2O2 concentration,initial pH,catalyst dosage,TCH concentration and inorganic ions were explored.The reactive oxidation species(ROS)quenching results and electron spin resonance(ESR)spectra confirmed that·O2-and·OH were responsible for the dark and photo-Fenton-like systems,respectively.The degradation mechanisms and pathways of TCH were proposed,and the toxicity of products was evaluated.This work contributes a highly efficient and environmentally friendly catalyst and provides a clear mechanistic explanation for the removal of antibiotic pollutants in environmental remediation.Jingjing Jiang Jiaying Gao Shu Niu Xingyue Wang Tianren Li Shengda Liu Yanhong Lin Tengfeng Xie Shuangshi Dong 2021Journal of Environmental Sciences2021,33,8:1

10Conserved profiles of digestion by double restriction endonucleases in insect genomes facilitate the design of dd RAD显示文摘Double-digested Restriction Site Associated DNA Sequencing(ddRAD) through next-generation sequencing(NGS) generates large numbers of loci for characterizing genomewide variation among multiple samples using next-generation sequencing. Different combinations of restriction endonucleases(REs) may produce varying size distributions of digested fragments, which affect the number of genotyped loci. Understanding digestion profiles across different species will help in selecting REs for digestion in a particular organism. In this study, we use of genome sequences to compare the in silico digestion profile of 26 combinations of REs in 131 insect species with two simulation programs. The number of digested fragments in the 300–450 bp range increases linearly with the size of the genome. Different species and insect orders showed similar profiles when digested by different combinations of REs in silico, indicating the conservation of digestion by double enzymes in insect genomes. Combinations with Nla III or TaqαI usually produced higher number of fragments in the range 300–450 bp, while combinations with EcoRI or MluCI produced fewer fragments. The proportion of fragments with the same overhangs at the two ends of digested DNA was higher than those with different overhangs. The two four-base enzyme pairs produced more fragments in the 300–450 bp range than pairs of four-base + six-base enzymes. Experimental digestion of three species from Hymenoptera, Lepidoptera and Thysanoptera showed profiles congruent with in silico expectations. 12A Two-dimensional Dual-pore Covalent Organic Framework for Efficient Iodine Capture显示文摘Effectively capturing volatile radioiodine generated during the nuclear fission process is considered to be a safe way to the utilization of nuclear power. Here we report a new two-dimensional covalent organic framework(2D COF), ETTA-PyTTA-COF, as a highly efficient iodine adsorbent, which is constructed through the condensation reaction between 4,4’,4’’,4’’’-(ethene-1,1,2,2-tetrayl)-tetrabenzaldehyde(ETTA) and 1,3,6,8-tetrakis(4-aminophenyl)pyrene(PyTTA). The ETTA-PyTTA-COF possesses a permanent 1D channel porous structure with a high Brunauer-Emmet-Teller(BET) surface area of 1519 m2/g and excellent chemical and thermal stability. 13Recognition for avian influenza virus proteins based on support vector machine and linear discriminant analysis显示文摘Total 200 properties related to structural characteristics were employed to represent structures of 400 HA coded proteins of influenza virus as training samples. Some recognition models for HA proteins of avian influenza virus (AIV) were developed using support vector machine (SVM) and linear discriminant analysis (LDA). The results obtained from LDA are as follows: the identification accuracy (Ria) for training samples is 99.8% and Ria by leave one out cross validation is 99.5%. Both Ria of 99.8% for training samples and Ria of 99.3% by leave one out cross validation are obtained using SVM model, respectively. External 200 HA proteins of influenza virus were used to validate the external predictive power of the resulting model.
