1Preliminary assessment of the navigation and positioning performance of BeiDou regional navigation satellite system显示文摘BeiDou regional navigation satellite system(BDS)also called BeiDou-2 has been in full operation since December 27,2012.It consists of 14 satellites,including 5 satellites in Geostationary Orbit(GEO),5 satellites in Inclined Geosynchronous Orbit(IGSO),and 4 satellites in Medium Earth Orbit(MEO).In this paper,its basic navigation and positioning performance are evaluated preliminarily by the real data collected in Beijing,including satellite visibility,Position Dilution of Precision(PDOP)value,the precision of code and carrier phase measurements,the accuracy of single point positioning and differential positioning and ambiguity resolution(AR)performance,which are also compared with those of GPS.It is shown that the precision of BDS code and carrier phase measurements are about 33 cm and 2 mm,respectively,which are comparable to those of GPS,and the accuracy of BDS single point positioning has satisfied the design requirement.The real-time kinematic positioning is also feasible by BDS alone in the opening condition,since its fixed rate and reliability of single-epoch dual-frequency AR is comparable to those of GPS.The accuracy of BDS carrier phase differential positioning is better than 1 cm for a very short baseline of 4.2 m and 3 cm for a short baseline of 8.2 km,which is on the same level with that of GPS.For the combined BDS and GPS,the fixed rate and reliability of single-epoch AR and the positioning accuracy are improved significantly.The accuracy of BDS/GPS carrier phase differential positioning is about 35 and 20%better than that of GPS for two short baseline tests in this study.The accuracy of BDS code differential positioning is better than 2.5 m.However it is worse than that of GPS,which may result from large code multipath errors of BDS GEO satellite measurements.YANG YuanXi LI JinLong WANG AiBing XU JunYi HE HaiBo GUO HaiRong SHEN JunFei DAI Xian 2014Science China Earth Sciences2014,57,1:125
2Efficient Fe(Ⅲ)/Fe(Ⅱ) cycling triggered by MoO2 in Fenton reaction for the degradation of dye molecules and the reduction of Cr(Ⅵ)显示文摘There is a relatively low efficiency of Fe(Ⅲ)/Fe(Ⅱ) conversion cycle and H2 O2 decomposition(<30%) in conventional Fenton process,which further results in a low production efficiency of ·OH and seriously restricts the application of Fenton.Herein,we report that the commercial MoO2 can be used as the cocatalyst in Fenton process to dramatically accelerate the oxidation of Lissamine rhodamine B(L-RhB),where the efficiency of Fe(Ⅲ)/Fe(Ⅱ) cycling is greatly enhanced in the Fenton reaction meanwhile.And the L-RhB solution could be degraded nearly 100% in 1 min in the MoO2 cocatalytic Fenton system under the optimal reaction condition,which is apparently better than that of the conventional Fenton system(~50%).Different from the conventional Fenton reaction where the ’OH plays an important role in the oxidation process,it shows that 1 O2 contributes most in the MoO2 cocatalytic Fenton reaction.However,it is found that the exposed Mo^4+ active sites on the surface of MoO2 powders can greatly promote the rate-limiting step of Fe^3+/Fe^2+ cycle conversion,thus minimizing the dosage of H2 O2(0.400 mmol/L) and Fe^2+(0.105 mmol/L).Interestingly,the MoO2 cocatalytic Fenton system also exhibits a good ability for reducing Cr(Ⅵ) ions,where the reduction ability for Cr(Ⅵ) reaches almost 100% within 2 h.In short,this work shows a new discovery for M002 cocatalytic advanced oxidation processes(AOPs),which devotes a lot to the practical water remediation application.Bin Shen Chencheng Dong Jiahui Ji Mingyang Xing Jinlong Zhang 2019Chinese Chemical Letters2019,30,12:11
3Spatial-temporal spectrum hole discovery:a hybrid spectrum sensing and geolocation database framework显示文摘A hybrid spectrum sensing and geolocation database framework is proposed to tackle the discovery of spatial-temporal spectrum hole in cognitive radio networks.We first analyze the advantages and disadvantages of spectrum sensing-based and geolocation database-based approaches respectively,which motivate us to further propose a hybrid protocol framework by effectively integrating the benefits of both spectrum sensing and geolocation database.Specifically,in the proposed hybrid approach,the goal is to maximize the utilization of spatialtemporal spectrum hole while satisfying the protection constraints for the primary users.Analytical and numerical results demonstrate the superior performance of the proposed hybrid approach over the existing spectrum sensing only and geolocation database only approaches,in terms of interference-free throughput.This article serves as a fundamental framework for advancing the design of hybrid approaches for spatial-temporal spectrum hole discovery.Jinlong Wang Guoru Ding Qihui Wu Liang Shen Fei Song 2014Chinese Science Bulletin2014,59,16:6
4The characteristics of the structure, strain and kinematic vorticity of the Wulian detachment fault zone, Shandong Peninsula, China显示文摘As one of the vital tectonic units of the Wulian Metamorphic Core Complex(MCC), the Wulian detachment fault zone(WDFZ), which developed in the Jiaodong peninsula, separates the lower plate of the ultrahigh pressure(UHP) metamorphic rocks in the Sulu orogenic belt from the upper plate of the early Cretaceous Zhucheng basin and the basin basement. The fault zone generally strikes NNE with a dip in the west along the southern portion of the MCC and strikes NE with a dip in the WNWalong the northern portion. The fault zone displays a wavy-tile-shaped extension on the plane, principally composed of the fault breccias and mylonite and transits downward to the mylonitic gneiss. As a whole, the detachment fault zone shows a top-towest or a WNW extension. By calculating the harmonic mean, we obtain a Flynn index K of 0.98–2.0, and the mean value is approximately 1.35 in the fault zone. According to the polar Mohr construction, the extensional crenulation cleavage, the RS/θ,and the quartz C-axial fabric methods, we acquire mean kinematic vorticity values of 0.64–0.97, 0.76–0.93, 0.6–0.92, and 0.63–0.98 with mean values of 0.83, 0.80, 0.78 and 0.86, respectively, for mylonite and promylonite. The strain measurement results and the kinematic vorticity values indicate that the WDFZ is a normal ductile shear zone developed in the extensional setting.The kinematic track shows that the kinematic vorticity value decreases gradually from the NW to the SE as a whole. A simple shear dominates in the middle and upper parts of the shear zone, which is reflected by a higher vorticity value(>0.75, up to 0.98),a low thinning rate and a lower K value. In contrast, toward the footwall, the pure shear is increased significantly, showing a lower vorticity value(<0.70, low to 0.64), a relatively high thinning rate and a higher K value. Combined with the geotectonic background, the development and evolution of the WDFZ should respond to lithospheric thinning and the destruction of the North China Craton(NCC). 6SnRK1 Phosphorylates and Destabilizes WRKY3 to Enhance Barley Immunity to Powdery Mildew显示文摘Plants recognize pathogens and activate immune responses,which usually involve massive transcriptional reprogramming.The evolutionarily conserved kinase,Sucrose non-fermenting-related kinase 1(SnRK1),functions as a metabolic regulator that is essential for plant growth and stress responses.Here,we identify barley SnRK1 and a WRKY3 transcription factor by screening a cDNA library.SnRK1 interacts with WRKY3 in yeast,as confirmed by pull-down and luciferase complementation assays.Förster resonance energy transfer combined with noninvasive fluorescence lifetime imaging analysis indicates that the interaction occurs in the barley nucleus.Transient expression and virus-induced gene silencing analyses indicate that WRKY3 acts as a repressor of disease resistance to the Bgh fungus.Barley plants overexpressing WRKY3 have enhanced fungal microcolony formation and sporulation.Phosphorylation assays show that SnRK1 phosphorylates WRKY3 mainly at Ser83 and Ser112 to destabilize the repressor,and WRKY3 non-phosphorylation-null mutants at these two sites are more stable than the wild-type protein.SnRK1-overexpressing barley plants display enhanced disease resistance to Bgh.Transient expression of SnRK1 reduces fungal haustorium formation in barley cells,which probably requires SnRK1 nuclear localization and kinase activity.Together,these findings suggest that SnRK1 is directly involved in plant immunity through phosphorylation and destabilization of the WRKY3 repressor,revealing a new regulatory mechanism of immune derepression in plants.Xinyun Han Ling Zhang Lifang Zhao Pengya Xue Ting Qi Chunlei Zhang Hongbo Yuan Lixun Zhou Daowen Wang Jinlong Qiuand Qian-Hua Shen 2020Plant Communications2020,1,4:2

13Facile preparation of multifunctional Cu_(2−x)S/S/rGO composite for all-round residual water remediation during interfacial solar driven water evaporation process显示文摘Presently,interfacial solar water evaporation(ISWE)is now injecting new vitality into the field of water remediation.However,during the ISWE process,the nonvolatile pollutants might be concentrated in residual water,and further contaminate the environment.Preparing advanced photothermal materials is in need to get comprehensive purification of various pollutants in residual water.Herein,we report a facile laser thermal method to prepare Cu_(2−x)S/sulfur/reduced graphene oxide(Cu_(2−x)S/S/rGO)nanocomposites for realizing all-round residual water remediation during the ISWE process.The as-prepared Cu2−xS/S/rGO nanocomposites demonstrated excellent photothermal and photocatalytic properties.Through blending with GO nanosheets having excellent adsorption capacity,the synergetic effect of photothermal,photocatalytic,and adsorption properties resulted in highly efficient purification of rhodamine B,bacterial,and heavy metal ions in residual water during the ISWE process.The experimental results also showed that,increasing solar light intensity can promote the residual water remediation,but ultrafast water evaporation under high light intensity may deteriorate the purifying effect.This report may pave a new way to prepare multifunctional materials for water remediation through the ISWE technology.Chaorui Xue Yang Shen Qian Zhang Qing Chang Ning Li Ying Li Wenjing Zheng Shengliang Hu Jinlong Yang 2023Nano Research2023,16,4:0
14Higher N_(2)O production in sequencing batch reactors compared to continuous stirred tank reactors:effect of feast-famine cycles显示文摘Nitrous oxide(N_(2)O)is a potent greenhouse gas that can be emitted during the biological treatment of wastewater.In this study,a comparison of the long-term performance characteristics and N_(2)O production of sequencing batch reactors(SBR)and continuous stirred tank reactors(CSTR)during nitrite-based denitrification was undertaken.It was found that both reactors had NO_(2)^(-)-N removal efficiencies over 99.9%,but the N_(2)O-N emissions from the SBR reached~2.3%of the removal nitrite-N load,while in the CSTR it never exceeded 0.1%.High frequency sampling during one operation cycle of the SBR demonstrated that the N_(2)O accumulation ratio was~0.1%during the feast period,increased to~1.9%in the first five hours of the famine period,and then gradually reached~2.3%at the end of famine.Batch experiments showed that limiting extracellular electron donor is required for N_(2)O accumulation in cells from the SBR-famine period and that cells from the CSTR do not accumulate N_(2)O when either nitrite or carbon is limiting.Another notable difference in the two reactor communities was the high level of accumulation of intracellular granules,most likely polyhydroxybutyrate(PHB),in cells during the feast period in the SBR.Metagenome assembly and binning found that one genome(PRO1),which is a Thauera,accounted for over half the metagenomic reads in both reactors.Neither shifts in gene regulation nor community composition explained the observed differences in reactor performance suggesting some post-transcriptional regulation obligatorily linked to antecedent conditions underly increased N_(2)O production in the SBR.Xinjie Yan Xunyu Shen Jipeng Wang Jinlong Zhuang Yu Wang Jinchi Yao Hong Liu Yongdi Liu James P.Shapleigh Wei Li 2023Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2023,17,4:0

17Design and implementation of a jellyfish otolith-inspired MEMS vector hydrophone for low-frequency detection显示文摘Detecting low-frequency underwater acoustic signals can be a challenge for marine applications.Inspired by the notably strong response of the auditory organs of pectis jellyfish to ultralow frequencies,a kind of otolith-inspired vector hydrophone(OVH)is developed,enabled by hollow buoyant spheres atop cilia.Full parametric analysis is performed to optimize the cilium structure in order to balance the resonance frequency and sensitivity.After the structural parameters of the OVH are determined,the stress distributions of various vector hydrophones are simulated and analyzed.The shock resistance of the OVH is also investigated.Finally,the OVH is fabricated and calibrated.The receiving sensitivity of the OVH is measured to be as high as−202.1 dB@100 Hz(0 dB@1 V/μPa),and the average equivalent pressure sensitivity over the frequency range of interest of the OVH reaches−173.8 dB when the frequency ranges from 20 to 200 Hz.The 3 dB polar width of the directivity pattern for the OVH is measured as 87°.Moreover,the OVH is demonstrated to operate under 10 MPa hydrostatic pressure.These results show that the OVH is promising in low-frequency underwater acoustic detection.Renxin Wang Wei Shen Wenjun Zhang Jinlong Song Nansong Li Mengran Liu Guojun Zhang Chenyang Xue Wendong Zhang 2021Microsystems & Nanoengineering2021,7,1:0
18Nitrogen slow-release behavior of oxamide granules in two different types of paddy soils显示文摘Oxamide is a potential slow-release nitrogen(N)fertilizer,especially under waterlogged conditions,due to its low solubility in water and the slow-release of ammonium by soil amidases.To investigate the effects of oxamide granules(2.00-2.38 mm in diameter)as a single basal fertilizer(180 or 144 kg N ha^(-1))on rice growth,soil properties,and N use efficiency in terms of N recovery efficiency(NRE),we conducted field experiments on two different types of paddy soils over two rice-growing seasons.Results showed that the fertilization effects of oxamide granules varied between the two types of paddy soils.In the red clayey paddy soil,the grain yields for both rice-growing seasons were high with a significantly higher NRE in the oxamide treatment than in the urea treatment.However,in the alluvial sandy paddy soil,the grain yields in the oxamide treatment were slightly lower than those in the urea treatment.Furthermore,oxamide produced little improvement in NRE in the alluvial sandy paddy soil.Soil incubation experiments over 98 d were also carried out to evaluate the factors affecting the N release behavior of oxamide granules in the two types of paddy soils.We found that the amidase activity was higher and,therefore,the oxamide hydrolysis rate was faster in the alluvial sandy paddy soil,which had a higher soil pH value and organic matter content,compared to the red clayey paddy soil.The faster N release and the longer growth period resulted in a mismatch between N supply by oxamide and rice demand,which,in turn,led to little improvement in NRE and a decreased grain yield in the alluvial sandy paddy soil,especially in the reduced oxamide treatment.These results could help select the appropriate size of oxamide granules for use as a slow-release N fertilizer depending on the soil properties and growth period of rice.Xun LI Jinlong DONG Jingjing DUAN Wenzhong SHEN Zengqiang DUAN 2022Pedosphere2022,32,6:0
