1Nature brings new avenues to the therapy of central nervous system diseases——an overview of possible treatments derived from natural products显示文摘Natural products(NPs), including traditional Chinese medicine(TCM), have been long and widely used in the prevention and treatment of central nervous system(CNS) diseases by virtue of their abundant sources, diverse structures, and novel activities.In this review article, we intend to summarize and discuss the situation or status of the clinical employments or trials of the NPs and their derivatives with CNS activities. NPs that have been extensively studied in preclinical research in recent years are also included. The compounds presented in this review are classified according to their indications and followed by details such as natural sources, possible biological mechanisms, and development status, while a considerable proportion of them are found in TCM. In addition, some drug combinations with synergistic effects are also mentioned. 2High-performance asymmetric electrodes photodiode based on Sb/WSe2 heterostructure显示文摘Two-dimensional (2D) van der Waals (vdWs) metal-semiconductor heterostructures with atomically sharp interface and matched work functions have recently attracted great attention due to their unique electronic and optoelectronic properties. Here we report the vapor phase epitaxial growth of large-scale vertical Sb/WSe2 metal-semiconductor vdWs heterostructures with uniform stacking orientation. Compared with the growth on S1O2/S1 substrate, the thick ness of Sb nan osheet on WSe2 can be reduced effectively to mono layer. We con struct Sb-WSe2-Au asymmetric electrodes photodiode based on the Sb/WSe2 heterostructures. Electrical transport measurements indicate that the photodiode show obvious rectifying effect. Optoelectronic characterizations show prominent photoresponse with a high photoresposivity of 364 mA/W, a fast response time of less than 8 ms, a large open-circuit voltage of 0.27 V and a maximum electrical power output of 0.11 nW. 3Androecious Genotype ‘Male 8' Carries the CPCNA Gene Locus Controlling Natural Deastringency of Chinese PCNA Persimmons显示文摘The androecious genotype of Diospyros spp. ‘Male 8', which is distributed in Dabie Mountain area of the central China, was probably derived from the hybrids or natural variation of Chinese pollination constant and non-astringent(CPCNA) persimmon. Its application potential as the breeding parent of pollination constant and non-astringent(PCNA) is undefined. In this study, we identified the astringency type of a hybrid individual(H8-2) derived from the cross between ‘Huashi 1'(pollination variant and astringent, PVA) and ‘Male 8'. Through comparison with the known genotypes of CPCNA, Japanese PCNA(JPCNA) and non-PCNA, the results of soluble/insoluble tannin content and tannin cell size measure showed that H8-2 was a PCNA genotype with the characteristic of natural deastringency of CPCNA. According to the currently known genetic features of PCNA persimmon, a new individual of PCNA may be generated in F1 population when two JPCNA genotypes are crossed or when the CPCNA genotype is used as a parent. 43D Model Construction and Ecological Environment Investigation on a Regional Scale Using UAV Remote Sensing显示文摘The acquisition of digital regional-scale information and ecological environmental data has high requirements for structural texture,spatial res-olution,and multiple parameter categories,which is challenging to achieve using satellite remote sensing.Considering the convenient,facilitative,and flexible characteristics of UAV(unmanned air vehicle)remote sensing tech-nology,this study selects a campus as a typical research area and uses the Pegasus D2000 equipped with a D-MSPC2000 multi-spectral camera and a CAM3000 aerial camera to acquire oblique images and multi-spectral data.Using professional software,including Context Capture,ENVI,and ArcGIS,a 3D(three-dimensional)campus model,a digital orthophoto map,and multi-spectral remote sensing map drawing are realized,and the geometric accuracy of typical feature selection is evaluated.Based on a quantitative remote sensing model,the campus ecological environment assessment is performed from the perspectives of vegetation and water body.The results presented in this study could be of great significance to the scientific management and sustainable development of regional natural resources.Chao Chen Yankun Chen Haohai Jin Li Chen Zhisong Liu Haozhe Sun Junchi Hong Haonan Wang Shiyu Fang Xin Zhang 2023Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing2023,37,8:0
5Direct fabrication of flexible tensile sensors enabled by polariton energy transfer based on graphene nanosheet films显示文摘A fundamental problem in the direct manufacturing of flexible devices is the low melting temperature of flexible substrates,which hinders the development of flexible electronics.Proposed here is an electron-cyclotron-resonance sputtering system that can batch-fabricate devices directly on flexible substrates under a low temperature by virtue of the polariton energy transfer between the plasma and the material.Flexible graphene nanosheet-embedded carbon(F-GNEC)films are manufactured directly on polyimide,polyethylene terephthalate,and polydimethylsiloxane,and how the substrate bias(electron energy),microwave power(plasma flux and energy),and magnetic field(electron flux)affect the nanostructure of the F-GNEC films is investigated,indicating that electron energy and flux contribute to the formation of standing graphene nanosheets in the film.The films have good uniformity of distribution in a large size(17 mm×17 mm),and tensile and angle sensors with a high gauge factor(0.92)and fast response(50 ms)for a machine hand are obtained by virtue of the unique nanostructure of the F-GNEC film.This work sheds light on the quantum manufacturing of carbon sensors and its applications for intelligent machine hands and virtual-reality technology.Xi Zhang Junchi Ma Wenhao Huang Jichen Zhang Chaoyang Lyu Yu Zhang Bo Wen Xin Wang Jing Ye Dongfeng Diao 2023Nanotechnology and Precision Engineering2023,6,1:0
6Ginkgo biloba extract protects against depression-like behavior in mice through regulating gut microbial bile acid metabolism显示文摘Depression is a mental disorder with high morbidity,disability and relapse rates.Ginkgo biloba extract(GBE),a traditional Chinese medicine,has a long history of clinical application in the treatment of cerebral and mental disorders,but the key mechanism remains incompletely understood.Here we showed that GEB exerted anti-depressant effect in mice through regulating gut microbial metabolism.GBE protected against unpredictable mild stress(UMS)-induced despair,anxiety-like and social avoidance behavior in mice without sufficient brain distribution.Fecal microbiome transplantation transmitted,while antibiotic cocktail abrogated the protective effect of GBE.Spatiotemporal bacterial profiling and metabolomics assay revealed a potential involvement of Parasutterella excrementihominis and the bile acid metabolite ursodeoxycholic acid(UDCA)in the effect of GBE.UDCA administration induced depression-like behavior in mice.Together,these findings suggest that GBE acts on gut microbiome-modulated bile acid metabolism to alleviate stress-induced depression.ZHOU Junchi FAN Qilin CAI Xiaoying ZHANG Youying HOU Yuanlong CAO Shuqi LIZiguang FENG Mengzhen WANG Qingqing ZHANG Jianbing WANG Guangi ZHENG Xiao HAO Haiping 2023Chinese Journal of Natural Medicines2023,21,10:0
7Research on Composting and Substrate Utilization of Garden Waste显示文摘[Objectives]This study was conducted to investigate how to use garden waste resources.[Methods]With garden waste as a raw material for composting treatment,the effects of adding starters on the decomposing effects of garden waste were investigated,and the changes in temperature and microorganisms during the decomposing process were analyzed.On this basis,the compost products were used to partially replace peat to make pepper seedling substrates,so as to further confirm the possibility of the use of compost products as substrates.[Results]Adding organic material starter or biological bacterial fertilizer starter could help garden waste to decompose and accelerate the composting process;and making seedling substrates by using garden waste compost products to partially replace peat could significantly improve the emergence rate,strong seedling index and fresh weight of pepper.The compost products fermented with the two kinds of starters had better substitution effects and higher seedling quality indexes.[Conclusions]This study provides a scientific basis for the substrate utilization of garden waste.Jiaomeng ZHANG Mei CHEN Mengyao ZHU Wenwen YU Junchi YAO Xiuya XU Xuqin REN 2021Agricultural Biotechnology2021,10,4:0
