2Anatomical and chemical characteristics associated with lodging resistance in wheat显示文摘Anatomical and chemical characteristics of stems affect lodging in wheat(Triticum aestivum L.) cultivars. Traits associated with lodging resistance, such as plant height, stem strength, culm wall thickness, pith diameter, and stem diameter, were extensively investigated in earlier studies. However, the solid stem trait was rarely considered. In this study, we measured a range of anatomical and chemical characteristics on solid and hollow stemmed wheat cultivars. Significant correlations were detected between resistance to lodging and several anatomical features, including width of mechanical tissue, weight of low internodes, and width of stem walls. Morphological features that gave the best indication of improved lodging resistance were increased stem width, width of mechanical tissue layer, and stem density. Multiple linear regression analysis showed that 99% of the variation in lodging resistance could be explained by the width of the mechanical tissue layer, suggesting that solid stemmed wheat has several anatomical features for increasing resistance to lodging. In addition, microsatellite markers GWM247 and GWM340 were linked to a single solid stem QTL on chromosome 3BL in a population derived from the cross Xinongshixin(solid stem)/Line 3159(hollow stem). 3Effect of sintering temperature in argon atmosphere on microstructure and properties of 3D printed alumina ceramic cores显示文摘Alumina ceramics with different sintering temperatures in argon atmosphere were obtained using stereolithography-based 3D printing.The effects of sintering temperature on microstructure and physical and mechanical properties were investigated.The results show that the average particle size,shrinkage,bulk density,crystallite size,flexural strength,Vickers hardness,and nanoindentation hardness increased with the increase in sintering temperature,whereas the open porosity decreased with increasing sintering temperature.No change was observed in phase composition,chemical bond,atomic ratio,and surface roughness.For the sintered samples,the shrinkage in Z direction is much greater than that in X or Y direction.The optimum sintering temperature in argon atmosphere is 1350℃with a shrinkage of 3.0%,3.2%,and 5.5%in X,Y,and Z directions,respectively,flexural strength of 26.7 MPa,Vickers hardness of 198.5 HV,nanoindentation hardness of 33.1 GPa,bulk density of 2.5 g/cm^3,and open porosity of 33.8%.The optimum sintering temperature was 70℃higher than that sintering in air atmosphere when achieved the similar properties.He LI Yongsheng LIU Yansong LIU Qingfeng ZENG Kehui HU Zhigang LU Jingjing LIANG 2020Journal of Advanced Ceramics2020,9,2:13
4Experimental realization of honeycomb borophene显示文摘We report the successful preparation of a purely honeycomb,graphene-like borophene,by using an Al(11 1) surface as the substrate and molecular beam epitaxy(MBE) growth in ultrahigh vacuum.Scanning tunneling microscopy(STM) images reveal perfect monolayer borophene with planar,non-buckled honeycomb lattice similar as graphene.Theoretical calculations show that the honeycomb borophene on Al(1 1 1) is energetically stable.Remarkably,nearly one electron charge is transferred to each boron atom from the Al(1 1 1) substrate and stabilizes the honeycomb borophene structure,in contrast to the negligible charge transfer in case of borophene/Ag(1 1 1).The existence of honeycomb 2 D allotrope is important to the basic understanding of boron chemistry,and it also provides an ideal platform for fabricating boron-based materials with intriguing electronic properties such as Dirac states.Wenbin Li Longjuan Kong Caiyun Chen Jian Gou Shaoxiang Sheng Weifeng Zhang Hui Li Lan Chen Peng Cheng Kehui Wu 2018Science Bulletin2018,63,5:7
5Analytical validation of GMEX rapid point- of care CYP2C19 genotyping system for the CHANCE-2 trial显示文摘Background and purpose Rapid genotyping is useful for guiding early antiplatelet therapy in patients with high-risk nondisabling ischaemic cerebrovascular events(HR-NICE).Conventional genetic testing methods used in CYP2C19 genotype-guided antiplatelet therapy for patients with HR-NICE did not satisfy the needs of the Clopidogrel in High-Risk Patients with Acute Nondisabling Cerebrovascular Events(CHANCE)-2 trial.Therefore,we developed the rapid-genotyping GMEX(point-of care)system to meet the needs of the CHANCE-2 trial.Methods Healthy individuals and patients with history of cardiovascular diseases(n=408)were enrolled from six centres of the CHANCE-2 trial.We compared the laboratory-based genomic test results with Sanger sequencing test results for accuracy verification.Next,we demonstrated the accuracy,timeliness and clinical operability of the GMEX system compared with laboratory-based technology(YZY Kit)to verify whether the GMEX system satisfies the needs of the CHANCE-2 trial.Results Genotypes reported by the GMEX system showed 100%agreement with those determined by using the YZY Kit and Sanger sequencing for all three CYP2C19 alleles(*2,*3 and*17)tested.The average result’s turnaround times for the GMEX and YZY Kit methods were 85.0(IQR:85.0-86.0)and 1630.0(IQR:354.0-7594.0)min(p<0.001),respectively.Conclusions Our data suggest that the GMEX system is a reliable and feasible point-of care system for rapid CYP2C19 genotyping for the CHANCE-2 trial or related clinical and research applications.Xia Meng Anxin Wang Guojun Zhang Siying Niu Wei Li Sifei Han Fang Fang Xingquan Zhao Kehui Dong Zening Jin Huaguang Zheng Kelin Chen Hao Li Chengyuan Yang Yongjun Wang 2021Stroke & Vascular Neurology2021,6,2:7
6Gastrointestinal bleeding during acute ischaemic stroke hospitalisation increases the risk of stroke recurrence显示文摘Objective Gastrointestinal(GI)bleeding in patients who had a stroke is strongly associated with a higher risk of death and loss of independence.However,it is unknown whether GI bleeding increases risk for recurrence of stroke.In this study,we assess the potential relationship between GI bleeding and stroke recurrence in patients within 12 months of an acute ischaemic stroke(AIS),using the China National Stroke Registry(CNSR).Methods This study included 22216 patients who had an ischaemic stroke included in the CNSR from 2007 to 2008.We analysed baseline patient characteristics,GI bleeding and outcomes of patients who had an AIS,specifically stroke recurrence at 3,6 and 12 months.We used multivariable logistic regression to evaluate a possible association between GI bleeding and stroke recurrence.results Of the 12415 patients included in our study,12.3%,15.5%and 17.7%had a stroke recurrence at 3,6 and 12 months,respectively.GI bleeding was an independent stroke recurrence risk factor in patients after ischaemic stroke at 3 months(adjusted OR 1.481,95%CI 1.118 to 1.962),6 months(adjusted OR 1.448,95%CI 1.106 to 1.896)and 12 months(adjusted OR 1.350;95%CI 1.034 to 1.763).Conclusion GI bleeding was associated with the increased risk of stroke recurrence after an AIS.Wanliang Du Xingquan Zhao Yilong Wang Yuesong Pan Gaifen Liu Anxin Wang Ruijun Ji Liping Liu Hongqiu Gu Kehui Dong Penglian Wang Yongjun Wang 2020Stroke & Vascular Neurology2020,5,2:7
7Chaotic Image Encryption Algorithm by Correlating Keys with Plaintext显示文摘A novel image encryption scheme based on the modified skew tent map was proposed in this paper. In the key generating procedure, the algorithm generates a plaintext-dependent secret keys set. In the encryption process, the diffusion operation with cipher output feedback is introduced. Thus, cipher-image is sensitive to both initial keys and plaintext through only one round diffusion operation. The key space is large. As a result, the algorithm can effectively resist differential attacks, statistical attacks, brute-force attacks, known plaintext and chosen plaintext attacks. 8The efficacy and safety of nimodipine in acute ischemic stroke patients with mild cognitive impairment: a double-blind, randomized,placebo-controlled trial显示文摘Nimodipine might be effective in subcortical vascular dementia(VaD). Its benefit in preventing further cognitive decline in patients with acute ischemic stroke(AIS) and vascular mild cognitive impairment(VaMCI) remains to be established. In this multicenter, double-blind trial, we randomly assigned 654 eligible patients to nimodipine 30 mg three times a day or placebo. The primary outcome was any cognitive decline defined by the changes on the Mini-Mental State Examination(DMMSE à3) or vascular AD assessment scale cognitive subscale(DADAS-cog ! 4) at 6 months. Secondary outcomes included any distribution shift of DADAS-cog, DMMSE or cognitive improvement defined by DADAS-cog à2, or DMMSE ! 0. The primary outcome in the nimodipine group and placebo group were similar for DMMSE à3(4.18% and 7.22%, respectively, P = 0.15) and DADAS-cog ! 4(8.36% and 8.93% respectively,P = 0.88). The distribution shift of DADAS-cog and DMMSE differed significantly between the two groups(P = 0.03 and P = 0.05 respectively). Cognitive improvement occurred in 55.4% in the nimodipine group and 43.6% in the placebo group measured by DADAS-cog à2(Odds Ratio, 1.54; 95% confidence interval[CI] 1.10–2.14, P < 0.01) or 84.0% and 74.6% respectively by DMMSE ! 0(Odds Ratio, 1.79; 95% CI 1.18–2.70, P < 0.01). Nimodipine was associated with better cognitive function in the memory domain. The adverse events rate was similar in two groups. This study is registered with ClinicalTrials.gov,NCT01220622. 9Balancing flexural strength and porosity in DLP-3D printing Al_(2)O_(3)cores for hollow turbine blades显示文摘High porosity and high strength are usually mutually exclusive in the preparation of ceramic materials.However,high porosity and flexural strength are required for the preparation of complex ceramic cores for hollow turbine blades.In this study,Al_(2)O_(3)cores with high porosity and high flexural strength were successfully prepared using digital light processing(DLP)3 D printing technology.The influence of sintering temperature on the microstructure,pore evolution,and flexural strength of the cores were investigated.With an increase in the sintering temperature,the porosity of the ceramic cores first increased and then decreased,reaching a maximum value of 35%at 1400℃.The flexural strength increased with the increase in sintering temperature,but at 1400℃the incremental enhancement of flexural strength was greatest.Combined with the core service requirements and core performance,this study selected 1400℃(open porosity of 35.1%and flexural strength of 20.3 MPa)as the optimal sintering temperature for the DLP-3 D printed Al_(2)O_(3)core.Qiaolei Li Xiaolong An Jingjing Liang Yongsheng Liu Kehui Hu Zhigang Lu Xinyan Yue Jinguo Li Yizhou Zhou Xiaofeng Sun 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,9:4
10Niacin alters the ruminal microbial composition of cattle under high-concentrate condition显示文摘To understand the effects of niacin on the ruminal microbial ecology of cattle under high-concentrate diet condition, Illumina MiSeq sequencing technology was used. Three cattle with rumen cannula were used in a 3 x 3 Latin-square design trial. Three diets were fed to these cattle during 3 periods for 3 days, respectively: high-forage diet(HF; forage-to-concentrate ratio = 80:20), high-concentrate diet(HC;forage-to-concentrate ratio=20:80), and HC supplemented with 800 mg/kg niacin(HCN). Ruminal pH was measured before feeding and every 2 h after initiating feeding. Ruminal fluid was sampled at the end of each period for microbial DNA extraction. Overall, our findings revealed that subacute ruminal acidosis(SARA) was induced and the a-diversity of ruminal bacterial community decreased in the cattle of HC group. Adding niacin in HC could relieve the symptoms of SARA in the cattle but the ruminal pH value and the Shannon index of ruminal bacterial community of HCN group were still lower than those of HF group. Whatever the diet was, the ruminal bacterial community of cattle was dominated by Bacteroidetes,Firmicutes and Proteobacteria. High-concentrate diet significantly increased the abundance of Prevotella,and decreased the abundance of Paraprevotella, Sporobacter, Ruminococcus and Treponema than HF.Compared with HC, HCN had a trend to decrease the percentage of Prevotella, and to increase the abundance of Succiniclasticum, Acetivibrio and Treponema. Increasing concentrate ratio could decrease ruminal pH value, and change the ruminal microbial composition. 11Enclosed stigma contributes to higher spikelet fertility for rice(Oryza sativa L.) subjected to heat stress显示文摘With global warming, rice plants may be subjected to heat stress more regularly during the heatsensitive flowering stage, causing spikelet sterility and grain yield loss.Stigma exsertion is considered to increase pollen reception and promote female reproductive success.The aim of this study was to investigate the role of stigma exsertion on spikelet fertility at high temperatures.Five rice cultivars(Liangyoupeijiu, Shanyou 63, Huanghuazhan, Nagina 22, and IR64) with differing degrees of stigma exsertion were cultivated and exposed to high temperature at anthesis.Heat-tolerant cultivars did not always show a high percentage of spikelets with exserted stigmas, and vice versa.Irrespective of the presence of more pollen grains on exserted stigmas, spikelets with exserted stigmas did not show greater spikelet fertility than spikelets with fewer exserted stigmas or hidden stigmas under heat stress.GA3 application augmented the percentage of spikelets with exserted stigmas;however, it did not increase spikelet fertility under heat stress.Spikelet fertility of whole panicles was negatively correlated with the percentage of spikelets with exserted stigmas, but positively with that with hidden stigmas.Viability of the hidden stigmas was less reduced than that of exserted stigmas under heat stress, suggesting that hidden stigmas have an advantage in maintaining viability.Heat stress delayed anther dehiscence and reduced the viabilities of both exserted stigmas and pollens, thereby causing low spikelet fertility.Together, these results suggest that high spikelet fertility does not depend on stigma exsertion and that enclosed stigma generally contributes to higher spikelet fertility and heat tolerance under high-temperature conditions during flowering in rice.Chao Wu Kehui Cui Qiuqian Hu Wencheng Wang Lixiao Nie Jianliang Huang Shaobing Peng 2019The Crop Journal2019,7,3:4

13Dynamics of a Strengthened Chaotic System and Its Circuit Implementation显示文摘To strengthen a chaotic system, a state feedback controller is applied to generate hyperchaotic behaviors based on the simplified Lorenz system, and a coordinate transformation is used for converting topological structure of the hyperchaotic system from two wings to four wings. 14Hydrolysis of polyaluminum chloride prior to coagulation:Effects on coagulation behavior and implications for improving coagulation performance显示文摘The effects of polyaluminum chloride(PACl) hydrolysis prior to coagulation on both the coagulation zone and coagulation performance of a kaolin suspension were investigated by a novel jar test named the 'reversed coagulation test'.The tests showed that PACl hydrolysis prior to coagulation decreased the performance of charge neutralization coagulation in the case of short-time slow mixing(10 min;G = 15 sec-1) and increased the optimal dosage for charge neutralization and sweep coagulation.Moreover,the hydrolysis time had insignificant effects on the size and zeta potential of PACl precipitates and the residual turbidity of the raw water.However,PACl hydrolysis prior to coagulation and the size of PACl precipitates had a negligible effect on the performance of sweep coagulation.The results imply that,in practice,preparing a PACl solution with deionized water,rather than tap water or the outlet water from a wastewater treatment unit,can significantly save PACl consumption and improve the performance of charge neutralization coagulation,while preparing the PACl solution with tap or outlet water would not affect the performance of sweep coagulation.In addition,the optimal rapid mixing intensity appears to be determined by a balance between the degree of coagulant hydrolysis before contacting the primary particles and the average size of flocs in the rapid mixing period.These results provide new insights into the role of PACl hydrolysis and will be useful for improving coagulation efficiency.Zhongguo Zhang Jun Wang Dan Liu Jiuyi Li Xiaolin Wang Boyu Song Bing Yue Kehui Zhao Yun Song 2017Journal of Environmental Sciences2017,29,7:4
15Influence of acupuncture with exercise training on learning and memory functions, as well as microtubule-associated protein-2 and synaptophysin expression in the hippocampal CA3 region, in a rat model of cerebral infarction显示文摘The present study was designed to determine microtubule-associated protein-2 and synaptophysin expression in the hippocampal CA3 region in a rat model of middle cerebral artery occlusion. The rats were treated with acupuncture at Baihui (GV 20), Qubin (GB 7), and Qianding (GV 21) points, in addition to exercise training. Results were compared with rats undergoing exercise training only. The Y-maze method and immunohistochemistry revealed decreased error frequency of passing through Y-maze, as well as significantly increased microtubule-associated protein-2 and synaptophysin expression, in the acupuncture with exercise training group compared with the model and exercise training groups after 5 weeks. Microtubule-associated protein-2 and synaptophysin expressions negatively correlated with error frequency of passing through the Y-maze. These results suggested that acupuncture combined with exercise training improved learning and memory functions in a rat model of cerebral infarction. 16Application of regional citrate anticoagulation in patients at high risk of bleeding during intermittent hemodialysis:a prospective multicenter randomized controlled trial显示文摘Objective:Safe and effective anticoagulation is essential for hemodialysis patients who are at high risk of bleeding.The purpose of this trial is to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of two-stage regional citrate anticoagulation(RCA)combined with sequential anticoagulation and standard calcium-containing dialysate in intermittent hemodialysis(IHD)treatment.Methods:Patients at high risk of bleeding who underwent IHD from September 2019 to May 2021 were prospectively enrolled in 13 blood purification centers of nephrology departments,and were randomly divided into RCA group and saline flushing group.In the RCA group,0.04 g/mL sodium citrate was infused from the start of the dialysis line during blood draining and at the venous expansion chamber.The sodium citrate was stopped after 3 h of dialysis,which was changed to sequential dialysis without anticoagulant.The hazard ratios for coagulation were according to baseline.Results:A total of 159 patients and 208 sessions were enrolled,including RCA group(80 patients,110 sessions)and saline flushing group(79 patients,98 sessions).The incidence of severe coagulation events of extracorporeal circulation in the RCA group was significantly lower than that in the saline flushing group(3.64%vs.20.41%,P<0.001).The survival time of the filter pipeline in the RCA group was significantly longer than that in the saline flushing group((238.34±9.33)min vs.(221.73±34.10)min,P<0.001).The urea clearance index(Kt/V)in the RCA group was similar to that in the saline flushing group with no statistically significant difference(1.12±0.34 vs.1.08±0.34,P=0.41).Conclusions:Compared with saline flushing,the two-stage RCA combined with a sequential anticoagulation strategy significantly reduced extracorporeal circulation clotting events and prolonged the dialysis time without serious adverse events.Xiaoyan TANG Dezheng CHEN Ling ZHANG Ping FU Yanxia CHEN Zhou XIAO Xiangcheng XIAO Weisheng PENG Li CHENG Yanmin ZHANG Hongbo LI Kehui LI Bizhen GOU Xin WU Qian YU Lijun JIAN Zaizhi ZHU Yu WEN Cheng LIU Hen XUE Hongyu ZHANG Xin HE Bin YAN Liping ZHONG Bin HUANG Mingying MAO 2022Journal of Zhejiang University-Science B(Biomedicine & Biotechnology)2022,23,11:4
17Global perspectives and future research directions for the phytoremediation of heavy metal-contaminated soil:A knowledge mapping analysis from 2001 to 2020显示文摘In total,9,552 documents were extracted from the Web of Science Core Collection and subjected to knowledge mapping and visualization analysis for the field of phytoremediation of HM-contaminated soil(PHMCS)with CiteSpace 5.7 R3 software.The results showed that(1)the number of publications increased linearly over the studied period.The top 10 countries/regions,institutions and authors contributing to this field were exhibited.(2)Keyword co-occurrence cluster analysis revealed a total of 8 clusters,including“Bioremediation,”“Arsenic,”“Biochar,”“Oxidative stress,”“Hyperaccumulation,”“EDTA,”“Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi,”and“Environmental pollution”clusters(3)In total,334 keyword bursts were obtained,and the 25 strongest,longest duration,and newest keyboard bursts were analyzed in depth.The strongest keyword burst test showed that the hottest keywords could be divided into 7 groups,i.e.,“Plant bioremediation materials,”“HM types,”“Chelating amendments,”“Other improved strategies,”“Bioremediation characteristics,”“Risk assessment,”and“Other.”Almost half of the newest topics had emerged in the past 3 years,including“biochar,”“drought,”“health risk assessment,”“electrokinetic remediation,”“nanoparticle,”and“intercropping.”(4)In total,9 knowledge base clusters were obtained in this study.The studies of Ali et al.(2013),Blaylock et al.(1997),Huang et al.(1997),van der Ent et al.(2013),Salt et al.(1995),and Salt(1998),which had both high frequencies and the strongest burst scores,have had the most profound effects on PHMCS research.Finally,future research directions were proposed.Kehui Liu Xiaojin Guan Chunming Li Keyi Zhao Xiaohua Yang Rongxin Fu Yi Li Fangming Yu 2022Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2022,16,6:4

19Cloning and characterization of vernalization-related gene (ver203F) cDNA 3'end显示文摘Based on the cDNA fragment sequence of vernalization-related gene verc203 cloned by differential screening in our lab, the 5′primer has been designed. The cDNA 3′end of ver203 gene (1 197 bp) has been cloned by the RACE method. And it is identified by Northern blotting that its expression is special in vernalization treatment. After comparing the sequence in the nucleotide sequence databases of Genbank, EMBL and DDBJ, the gene has homology with Hordeum vulgare jesmonate-induced protein gene. 20Implementation of One-Way Quantum Computing with a Hybrid Solid-State Quantum System显示文摘We proposed an efficient scheme for implementing the large-scale one-way Quantum computing(QC)with a novel hybrid solid-state quantum system. This system consists of N Nitrogen-vacancy(N-V) centers coupled to N separate Transmission line resonators(TLRs), which are interconnected by a Current-biased Josephson junction(CBJJ) superconducting phase qubit. We showed the way of preparation of N-qubit linear cluster state with N N-V centers, then we demonstrated the way of extending cluster state by connecting two pieces of linear cluster states into two-dimensional cluster state, last, with our designed new structures, we demonstrated the QC basic operations.It means that our scheme may open up promising possibilities for implementing the practical and scalable one-way quantum computers with the hybrid solid-state quantum system.
