2Cooperation in an asymmetric volunteer's dilemma game with relatedness显示文摘What motivates some members of a social group to voluntarily incur costs in order to provide for the common good? This question lies at the heart of theoretical and empirical studies of cooperative behavior. This is also the question that underlies the classic volunteer's dilemma model, which has been previously explored in scenarios where group members are related or interact asym- metrically. Here we present a model that combines asymmetry and relatedness, showing that the probability of volunteerism in such systems depends closely on both the degree of asymmetry and level of relatedness between interacting individuals. As has been shown in previous volunteer's dilemma models, the payoff ratio and overall group size also influence the probability of volunteerism. The probability of volunteerism decreases with increasing group size or decreasing cost-to-benefit ratio of the coplayers; in the presence of asymmetrical interactions, subordinate players were more likely to offer public goods than the dominant player. 13Lanthanum doped octacalcium phosphate/polylactic acid scaffold fabricated by 3D printing for bone tissue engineering显示文摘Lanthanum(La)has tremendous potential in the treatment and prevention of bone diseases especially osteoporosis and metabolic disorders.However,controlling its distribution and keeping the release of La^(3+)ions sustained and steady in the body is still a big challenge.In this study,we prepared La-OCP powders via co-precipitation method,and further prepared La-OCP/PLA porous scaffolds by 3 D printing.La^(3+)was successfully introduced into the OCP crystal structure and substituted Ca^(2+)at the Ca-5 and Ca-8 sites.In particular,some La^(3+)ions were deposited on the crystal surface in the form of nanoparticles.Both octacalcium phosphate(OCP,Ca_(8)H_(2)(PO_(4))_6·5 H_(2)O)crystals and nanoparticles played as the carriers for La^(3+)ions.The La-OCP/PLA scaffolds displayed obvious mineralization effects and sustained release of La^(3+).The scaffolds contained a uniform structure with rough micro surface topography which acted as a suitable pathway for BMSCs cells to adhere,grow and proliferation.At a certain La^(3+)concentration,the extracts from La-OCP/PLA scaffolds increased the expression of osteogenesis-related genes,thus promoting the osteogenic differentiation of BMSCs.Moreover,the extracts regulated the immune responses.The experiment in vivo proved that La-OCP/PLA porous scaffolds were safe and could enhance bone defect regeneration in vivo.These findings suggest that 3 D printed La-OCP/PLA porous scaffolds have promising potentials in bone tissue engineering.Zeya Xu Bin Lin Chaoqian Zhao Yanjin Lu Tingting Huang Yan Chen Jungang Li Rongcan Wu Wenge Liu Jinxin Lin 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,23:1

16Boosting photocatalytic hydrogen production via interfacial engineering over a Z-scheme core/shell heterojunction显示文摘Designing high efficacy photocatalysts is a promising way to improve solar fuel production efficiency.In this work,we prepared a core/shell composite of loose ZnCr layered double hydroxide nanosheets modified CdS nanorods for efficient visible light driven photocatalytic hydrogen production.The highest hydrogen production rate achieved 425.8μmol·h^(−1) without adding any noble metal cocatalyst under the visible light stimulus,which is 22.4 times that of 1 wt.%Pt-modified CdS.The corresponding apparent quantum yield is 13.9%at 420 nm.It is revealed that the synergistic actions of the interfacial redox shuttle of Cr^(3+)/Cr^(δ+)and the interfacial electric field enable the efficient separation of photoinduced charge carriers between two components via a Z-scheme energy band configuration.Meanwhile,with the hydrogen evolution contribution of Zn^(2+),a remarkable improvement in photocatalytic performance was achieved in contrast to bare CdS.This work provides an effective methodology to construct highly efficient and economically viable photocatalysts for solar H_(2)production and mechanistic study.Bing Luo Jinghua Li Wei Wang Chaoqian Ai Haihan Zhang Yuxin Zhao Dengwei Jing 2023Nano Research2023,16,1:0
