1Geology and hydrocarbon accumulations in the deepwater of the northwestern South China Sea——with focus on natural gas显示文摘The deepwater of the northwestern South China Sea is located in the central to southern parts of the Qiongdongnan Basin(QDN Basin),which is a key site for hydrocarbon exploration in recent years.In this study,the authors did a comprehensive analysis of gravity-magnetic data,extensive 3D seismic survey,cores and cuttings,paleontology and geochemical indexes,proposed the mechanism of natural gas origin,identified different oil and gas systems,and established the model of hydrocarbon accumulations in the deep-water region.Our basin tectonic simulation indicates that the evolution of QDN Basin was controlled by multiple-phased tectonic movements,such as Indochina-Eurasian Plate collision,Tibetan Uplift,Red River faulting and the expansion of the South China Sea which is characterized by Paleogene rifting,Neogene depression,and Eocene intensive faulting and lacustrine deposits.The drilling results show that this region is dominated by marineterrestrial transitional and neritic-bathyal facies from the early Oligocene.The Yacheng Formation of the early Oligocene is rich in organic matter and a main gas-source rock.According to the geological-geochemical data from the latest drilling wells,Lingshui,Baodao,Changchang Sags have good hydrocarbon-generating potentials,where two plays from the Paleogene and Neogene reservoirs were developed.Those reservoirs occur in central canyon structural-lithologic trap zone,Changchang marginal trap zone and southern fault terrace of Baodao Sag.Among them,the central canyon trap zone has a great potential for exploration because the various reservoirforming elements are well developed,i.e.,good coal-measure source rocks,sufficient reservoirs from the Neogene turbidity sandstone and submarine fan,faults connecting source rock and reservoirs,effective vertical migration,late stage aggregation and favorable structural–lithological composite trapping.These study results provide an important scientific basis for hydrocarbon exploration in this region,evidenced by the recent discovery of the significant commercial LS-A gas field in the central canyon of the Lingshui Sag.WANG Zhenfeng SUN Zhipeng ZHANG Daojun ZHU Jitian LI Xushen HUANG Baojia GUO Minggang JIANG Rufeng 2015Acta Oceanologica Sinica2015,34,10:9
2Facile synthesis of Li3V2(PO4)3/C cathode material for lithium-ion battery via freeze-drying显示文摘In this work, we report a facile route for the synthesis of Li3V2(PO4)3/C cathode material via freezedrying and then calcination. The effect of calcination temperature on the electrochemical properties of the Li3V2(PO4)3/C is also investigated. When used as a lithium-ion battery cathode, the optimized Li3V2(PO4)3/C (LVP-800) through calcination at 800 ℃ exhibits a high initial charge and discharge capacity. The excellent electrochemical performance of LVP-800 is attributed to the good crystallinity and uniform morphology of the electrode material. In addition, the residual carbon can also improve the conductivity and buffer the volume expansion during the Li-ion extraction/reinsertion. 7Archaeal chromatin proteins显示文摘Archaea, along with Bacteria and Eukarya, are the three domains of life. In all living cells, chromatin proteins serve a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of the structure and function of the genome. An array of small, abundant and basic DNA-binding proteins, considered candidates for chromatin proteins, has been isolated from the Euryarchaeota and the Crenarchaeota, the two major phyla in Archaea. While most euryarchaea encode proteins resembling eukaryotic histones, crenarchaea appear to synthesize a number of unique DNA-binding proteins likely involved in chromosomal organization. Several of these proteins (e.g., archaeal histones, Sac10b homologs, Sul7d, Cren7, CC1, etc.) have been extensively studied. However, whether they are chromatin proteins and how they function in vivo remain to be fully understood. 8Trace Ammonia Detection Based on Near-Infrared Fiber-Optic Cantilever-Enhanced Photoacoustic Spectroscopy显示文摘A trace ammonia(NH3)detection system based on the near-infrared fiber-optic cantilever-enhanced photoacoustic spectroscopy(CEPAS)is proposed.A fiber-optic extrinsic Fabry-Perot interferometer(EFPI)based cantilever microphone has been designed to detect the photoacoustic pressure signal.The microphone has many advantages,such as small size and high sensitivity.A near-infrared tunable erbium-doped fiber laser(EDFL)amplified by an erbium-doped fiber amplifier(EDFA)is used as a photoacoustic excitation light source.To improve the sensitivity,the photoacoustic signal is enhanced by a photoacoustic cell with a resonant frequency of 1624 Hz.When the wavelength modulation spectroscopy(WMS)technique is applied,the weak photoacoustic signal is detected by the second-harmonic detection technique.Trace NH3 measurement experiments demonstrate that the designed fiber-optic CEPAS system has a linear response to concentrations in the range of 0 ppm‒20 ppm at the wavelength of 1522.448 nm.Moreover,the detection limit is estimated to be 3.2 ppb for a lock-in integration time of 30 s.Min GUO Ke CHEN Zhenfeng GONG Qingxu YU 2019Photonic Sensors2019,9,4:2

12The development of Fructus corni quality standard considering the effects of processing显示文摘The quality standards for Fructus Comi have been established based on the effects of the manufacturing processes.Three critical process parameters(CPPs)of extraction,filtration,and concentration to prepare Fructus Comi concentrate were identified by Plackett-Burman design with a single batch of Fructus Corni,which were heating medium temperature,extraction time,and water addition.Morroniside yield,loganin yield,and dry matter yield were process critical quality attributes(CQAs).CPPs arranged with a Box-Behnken design were applied to treat different batches of Fructus Comi After constructing a model that included CPPs,material propertie s,and process CQAs,loganin content was found to be the critical material attribute(CMA).The design space was calculated with a probability method.According to the limits of process CQAs,the minimum content of loganin in Fructus Corni was calculated with an error propagation method,which was 6.92 mg·g^(-1).When the content of loganin in Fructus Corni reaches up to 6.92 mg·g^(-1),the material is considered high-quality and is most suitable for the process.High-quality material can be used for production of Fructus Comi concentrate.This method can also be used to set material quality standards for other Chinese medicines.Xingchu Gong Junlin Guo Jingjing Pan Zhenfeng Wu 2021Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2021,34,1:1
13SNP-based identification of QTL for resistance to black point caused by Bipolaris sorokiniana in bread wheat显示文摘Black point disease caused by Bipolaris sorokiniana is a problem in wheat production worldwide.We aimed to identify major quantitative trait loci(QTL)for resistance to black point and develop molecular markers for marker-assisted selection(MAS).A recombinant inbred line(RIL)population derived from a cross between Wanyuanbai 1(susceptible)and SN4143(resistant)was evaluated for black point response at three locations during two years under artificial inoculation with B.sorokiniana,providing data for six environments.Thirty resistant and 30 susceptible RILs were selected to form resistant and susceptible bulks,respectively,that were genotyped by the wheat 660 K SNP array;685 singlenucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs)were identified,among which 385(56.2%)and 115(16.8%)were located on chromosomes 4 A and 2 B,respectively.Bulked segregant RNA-Seq analysis identified candidate regions on chromosomes 4 A(4.60–40.28 Mb)and 5 A(1.22–48.47 Mb).Genetic linkage maps were constructed for chromosomes 2 B,4 A,and 5 A using 59 polymorphic d CAPS and SSR markers.Finally,two QTL,designated QBB.hau-4 A and QBB.hau-5 A,were detected on chromosomes 4 A and 5 A,respectively.The resistance allele of QBB.hau-4 A was derived from SN4143,and that of QBB.hau-5 A came from Wanyuanbai 1.QBB.hau-4 A with a large and consistent effect(15.1%)is likely to be a new locus for black point resistance.The markers linked to QBB.hau-4 A and QBB.hau-5 A have potential application in MASbased breeding.Qiaoyun Li Runyu Hu Zhenfeng Guo Siyu Wang Chuang Gao Yumei Jiang Jianwei Tang Guihong Yin 2022The Crop Journal2022,10,3:1

15Consideration of transmembrane water exchange in pharmacokinetic model significantly improves the accuracy of DCE-MRI in estimating cellular density:A pilot study in glioblastoma multiforme显示文摘Transmembrane water exchange(TWE)including transcytolemmal water exchange and transvascular water exchange is involved in many in vivo measurements and makes different contributions to the measuring results.In this study,we focus on the potential influence of TWE on the cell density parameter,intracellular water mole fraction pi,derived by dynamic contrast enhanced-magnetic resonance imaging(DCE-MRI)which has been reported as a technique to characterize perfusion and vascularization of tissues,but its accuracy in measuring cell density(or interstitial space)has been questioned.Sixteen patients with glioblastoma multiforme(GBM)were enrolled since GBM shows strong intratumor heterogeneity in both cell density and TWE.All the subjects were collected with DCE-MRI and apparent diffusion coefficient(ADC)map.The latter was considered as a valid surrogate of cell density.Extended Tofts(eTofts)model considering TWE as infinitely large variables and shutter-speed model(SSM)considering TWE as finite ones were used to fit DCE-MRI data.Monte Carlo(MC)and finite difference(FD)methods were used to simulate the influence of TWE on DCE-MRI-derived pi and ADC,respectively.The eTofts model shows a significant overestimation of pi in comparison with SSM in GBM(P<0.001),which is in accordance with MC simulations,and this overestimation shows dependence on the intra-to-extracellular water exchange rate constant(kio).Significant negative correlations between ADC and SSM-derived pi were found in both voxel-wise analyses(t-test P<0.001,average r=-0.74)and inter-subject comparisons(r=-0.63,P=0.009).But no consistent voxel-wise correlations(P>0.05)and a weaker inter-subject negative correlation(r=-0.56,P=0.02)were found between ADC and eTofts-derived pi.Further experimental and FD results revealed that kio made a limited contribution to ADC values in the physiological kio range in GBM,supporting ADC as a valid biomarker of cell density.These results suggest that the DCE-MRI pharmacokinetic shutter-speed model could significantly improve its accuracy in cell density estimation because of the considering transmembrane water exchange.Zhenfeng Pang Zejun Wang Bao Wang Kaiyue Guo Cheng Meng Yingchao Liu Xueqian Kong Ruiliang Bai 2022Magnetic Resonance Letters2022,2,4:0
16Structure of the catalytic domain of a state transition kinase homolog from Micromonas algae显示文摘Under natural environments,plants and algae have evolved various photosynthetic acclimation mechanisms in response to the constantly changing light conditions.The state transition and long-term response processes in photosynthetic acclimation involve remodeling and composition alteration of thylakoid membrane.A chloroplast protein kinase named Stt7/STN7 has been found to have pivotal roles in both state transition and longterm response.Here we report the crystal structures of the kinase domain of a putative Stt7/STN7 homolog from Micromonas sp.RCC299(MsStt7d)in the apo form and in complex with various nucleotide substrates.MsStt7d adopts a canonical protein kinase fold and contains all the essential residues at the active site.A novel hairpin motif,found to be a conserved feature of the Stt7/STN7 family and indispensable for the kinase stability,interacts with the activation loop and fi xes it in an active conformation.We have also demonstrated that MsStt7d is a dualspecifi city kinase that phosphorylates both Thr and Tyr residues.Moreover,preliminary in vitro data suggest that it might be capable of phosphorylating a consensus N-terminal pentapeptide of light-harvesting proteins Micromonas Lhcp4 and Arabidopsis Lhcb1 directly.The potential peptide/protein substrate binding site is predicted based on the location of a pseudo-substrate contributed by the adjacent molecule within the crystallographic dimer.The structural and biochemical data presented here provide a framework for an improved understanding on the role of Stt7/STN7 in photosynthetic acclimation.Jiangtao Guo Xuepeng Wei Mei Li Xiaowei Pan Wenrui Chang Zhenfeng Liu 2013Protein & Cell2013,4,8:0
17Synthesis of pyrimidines from dinitrogen and carbon显示文摘The element nitrogen and nitrogenous compounds are vital to life.The synthesis of nitrogen-containing compounds using dinitrogen as the nitrogen source,not through ammonia,is of great interest and great value but remains a grand challenge.Herein,we describe a strategy to realize this transformation by combining the heterogeneous approach with the homogeneous methodology.The N_(2)molecule was first fixed with carbon and LiH through a one-pot heterogeneous process,forming Li_(2)CN_(2)as an’activated’nitrogen source with high efficiency.Then subsequent homogeneous treatments of Li_(2)CN_(2)to construct the organic synthon carbodiimide and the RNA/DNA building block pyrimidines were fulfilled.By using^(15)N_(2)as the feedstock,their corresponding^(15)N-labeled carbodiimide and pyrimidines were readily obtained.This homogeneous-heterogeneous synergy strategy will open a new chapter for N_(2)transformation.Xianghui Shi Qianru Wang Chao Qin Li-Jun Wu Yuanjin Chen Gao-Xiang Wang Yongli Cai Wenbo Gao Teng He Junnian Wei Jianping Guo Ping Chen Zhenfeng Xi 2022National Science Review2022,9,12:0
18Functional Autapses Form in Striatal Parvalbumin Interneurons but not Medium Spiny Projection Neurons显示文摘Autapses selectively form in specific cell types in many brain regions.Previous studies have also found putative autapses in principal spiny projection neurons(SPNs)in the striatum.However,it remains unclear whether these neurons indeed form physiologically functional autapses.We applied whole-cell recording in striatal slices and identified autaptic cells by the occurrence of prolonged asynchronous release(AR)of neurotransmitters after bursts of high-frequency action potentials(APs).Surprisingly,we found no autaptic AR in SPNs,even in the presence of Sr^(2+).However,robust autaptic AR was recorded in parvalbumin(PV)-expressing neurons.The autaptic responses were mediated by GABA_(A) receptors and their strength was dependent on AP frequency and number.Further computer simulations suggest that autapses regulate spiking activity in PV cells by providing self-inhibition and thus shape network oscillations.Together,our results indicate that PV neurons,but not SPNs,form functional autapses,which may play important roles in striatal functions.Xuan Wang Zhenfeng Shu Quansheng He Xiaowen Zhang Luozheng Li Xiaoxue Zhang Liang Li Yujie Xiao Bo Peng Feifan Guo Da-Hui Wang Yousheng Shu 2023Neuroscience Bulletin2023,39,4:0
