2Crocetin Potentiates Neurite Growth in Hippocampal Neurons and Facilitates Functional Recovery in Rats with Spinal Cord Injury显示文摘Crocetin is an ingredient of traditional Chinese medicine and has therapeutic potential in various diseases due to its pharmacological properties, such as neuroprotection, anti-oxidative stress, and anti-inflammation. These properties might benefit the treatment of spinal cord injury.In the present study, we tested the effect of crocetin on neurite growth and sensorimotor dysfunction in a rat model of spinal cord injury. We evaluated the viability of cultured hippocampal neurons with tetrazolium dye and lactate dehydrogenase assays, visualized neurites and axons with antibody staining, and monitored motor and sensorimotor functions in rats with spinal cord injury using the Basso,Beattie, and Bresnahan assay and the contact plantar placement test, respectively, and measured cytokine expression using enzyme-linked immuno-absorbent assays.We found that crocetin(1) did not alter the viability of cultured hippocampal neurons;(2) accelerated neurite growth with preference for the longest process in individual hippocampal neurons;(3) reversed the inhibition of neurite growth by chondroitin sulfate proteoglycan and Nogo A;(4) facilitated the recovery of motor and sensorimotor functions after spinal cord injury; and(5) did not inhibit pro-inflammatory responses, but restored the innervation of the descending 5-HT system in injured spinalcord. 3Efficient CO_(2) electroreduction over N-doped hieratically porous carbon derived from petroleum pitch显示文摘Developing of economic and efficient catalysts is critical for the application of electroreduction of carbon dioxide to highly valuable chemicals.Herein,we present a facile method to synthesize N-doped hieratically porous carbon through pyrolysis of petroleum pitch followed by ammonia etching.We found mesopores are favored formation by removing of asphaltene from petroleum pitch during the carbonation process.Simultaneously,ammonia etching can not only increase the pyridinic-N content,but also upgrade the ratio of meso-to micro-pores of carbon materials.Using the N-doped hieratically porous carbon as catalyst for carbon dioxide electroreduction,the Faradaic efficiency of carbon monoxide reaches 83%at-0.9 V vs.the reversible hydrogen electrode(RHE)in 0.1 M KHCO_(3).This superior performance is attributed to the synergistic effects of highly pyridinic-N content in conjunction with the hieratically porous architecture,rendering abundant exposed and accessible active sites for electroreduction of CO_(2).Our work provides a new strategy for the large-scale preparation of high-performance,low-cost catalysts for CO_(2) electroreduction.Hui Ning Dianliang Guo Xiaoshan Wang Zhonghao Tan Wenhang Wang Zhongxue Yang Linqing Li Qingshan Zhao Jian Hao Mingbo Wu 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,5:3

11Simple Vanilla Derivatives for Long-Lived Room-Temperature Polymer Phosphorescence as Invisible Security Inks显示文摘Developing novel long-lived room-temperature polymer phosphorescence(RTPP)materials could significantly expand their application scope.Herein,a series of RTPP materials based on eight simple vanilla derivatives for security ink application are reported.Attributed to strong mutual hydrogen bonding with polyvinyl alcohol(PVA)matrix,vanilla-doped PVA films exhibit ultralong phosphorescence emission under ambient conditions observed by naked eyes,where methyl vanillate shows the longest emission time up to 7 s.Impressively,when vanilla-doped PVA materials are utilized as invisible security inks,and the inks not only present excellent luminescent emission stability under ambient conditions but also maintain perfect reversibility between room temperature and 65℃ for multiple cycles.Owing to the unique RTPP performance,an advanced anticounterfeiting data encoding/reading strategy based on handwriting technology and complex pattern steganography is developed.Yongfeng Zhang Zhonghao Wang Yan Su Yan Zheng Wenji Tang Chaolong Yang Hailong Tang Lunjun Qu Youbing Li Yanli Zhao 2021Research2021,,1:1
12Deep eutectic solvent strategy enables an octahedral Ni–Co precursor for creating high-performance NiCo_(2)O_(4) catalyst toward oxygen evolution reaction显示文摘Deep eutectic solvents(DESs)have gained much attention in the fabrication of advanced nanoelectrocatalysts due to their amazing template function.However,their stabilizing function for easily hydrolyzed inorganic nanomaterials is rarely studied.Here,a DES-mediated strategy was reported to synthesize octahedral Ni–Co precursor(NiCo–NH_(3) complex),which could be directly transformed into NiCo_(2)O_(4) nanooctahedrons after thermal decomposition.The NiCo–NH_(3) precursor in octahedral shape was achieved with the DES-mediated crystallization in the choline chloride(ChCl)/glycerol.The ChCl/glycerol DES not only tailored the morphology of the as-prepared precursor by template effect but also inhibited its hydrolysis,ensuring the successful fabrication of octahedral NiCo–NH_(3) complex precursor with high yield.The NiCo–NH_(3) complex precursor was converted to well-defined NiCo_(2)O_(4) nanooctahedrons,where the calcination temperature and time were explored in detail.It revealed that DES could participate in the conversion process to control the morphology of calcination product.The resultant NiCo_(2)O_(4) nanooctahedrons demonstrated excellent electroactivity and remarkable durability for oxygen evolution reaction(OER).The present strategy not only offers an efficient OER electrocatalyst but also enriches the approaches of DESs in designing advanced nanocatalysts.Chenyun Zhang Bingwei Xin Tingting Chen Hao Ying Zhonghao Li Jingcheng Hao 2022Green Energy & Environment2022,7,6:1

19A HEVC Video Steganalysis Algorithm Based on PU Partition Modes显示文摘Steganalysis is a technique used for detecting the existence of secret information embedded into cover media such as images and videos.Currently,with the higher speed of the Internet,videos have become a kind of main methods for transferring information.The latest video coding standard High Efficiency Video Coding(HEVC)shows better coding performance compared with the H.264/AVC standard published in the previous time.Therefore,since the HEVC was published,HEVC videos have been widely used as carriers of hidden information.In this paper,a steganalysis algorithm is proposed to detect the latest HEVC video steganography method which is based on the modification of Prediction Units(PU)partition modes.To detect the embedded data,All the PU partition modes are extracted from P pictures,and the probability of each PU partition mode in cover videos and stego videos is adopted as the classification feature.Furthermore,feature optimization is applied,that the 25-dimensional steganalysis feature has been reduced to the 3-dimensional feature.Then the Support Vector Machine(SVM)is used to identify stego videos.It is demonstrated in experimental results that the proposed steganalysis algorithm can effectively detect the stego videos,and much higher classification accuracy has been achieved compared with state-of-the-art work.Zhonghao Li Laijing Meng Shutong Xu Zhaohong Li Yunqing Shi Yuanchang Liang 2019Computers, Materials & Continua2019,,5:1
