2The application of nanoparticles in cancer immunotherapy:Targeting tumor microenvironment显示文摘The tumor development and metastasis are closely related to the structure and function of the tumor microenvironment(TME).Recently,TME modulation strategies have attracted much attention in cancer immunotherapy.Despite the preliminary success of immunotherapeutic agents,their therapeutic effects have been restricted by the limited retention time of drugs in TME.Compared with traditional delivery systems,nanoparticles with unique physical properties and elaborate design can efficiently penetrate TME and specifically deliver to the major components in TME.In this review,we briefly introduce the substitutes of TME including dendritic cells,macrophages,fibroblasts,tumor vasculature,tumor-draining lymph nodes and hypoxic state,then review various nanoparticles targeting these components and their applications in tumor therapy.In addition,nanoparticles could be combined with other therapies,including chemotherapy,radiotherapy,and photodynamic therapy,however,the nanoplatform delivery system may not be effective in all types of tumors due to the heterogeneity of different tumors and individuals.The changes of TME at various stages during tumor development are required to be further elucidated so that more individualized nanoplatforms could be designed.Muyue Yang Jipeng Li Ping Gu Xianqun Fan 2021Bioactive Materials2021,6,7:21
3Proteomics provides individualized options of precision medicine for patients with gastric cancer显示文摘While precision medicine driven by genome sequencing has revolutionized cancer care,such as lung cancer,its impact on gastric cancer(GC)has been minimal.GC patients are routinely treated with chemotherapy,but only a fraction of them receive the clinical benefit.There is an urgent need to develop biomarkers or algorithms to select chemo-sensitive patients or apply targeted therapy.Here,we carried out retrospective analyses of 1,020 formalin-fixed,paraffin-embedded GC surgical resection samples from 5 hospitals and developed a mass spectrometry-based workflow for proteomic subtyping of GC.We identified two proteomic subtypes:the chemo-sensitive group(CSG)and the chemo-insensitive group(CIG)in the discovery set.The 5-year overall survival of CSG was significantly improved in patients who had received adjuvant chemotherapy after surgery compared with those who received surgery only(64.2%vs.49.6%;Cox P-value=0.002),whereas no such improvement was observed in CIG(50.0%vs.58.6%;Cox P-value=0.495).We validated these results in an independent validation set.Further,differential proteome analysis uncovered 9 FDA-approved drugs that may be applicable for targeted therapy of GC.A prospective study is warranted to test these findings for future GC patient care.Wenwen Huang Dongdong Zhan Yazhuo Li Nairen Zheng Xin Wei Bin Bai Kecheng Zhang Mingwei Liu Xuefei Zhao Xiaotian Ni Xia Xia Jinwen Shi Cheng Zhang Zhihao Lu Jiafu Ji Juan Wang Shiqi Wang Gang Ji Jipeng Li Yongzhan Nie Wenquan Liang Xiaosong Wu Jianxin Cui Yongsheng Meng Feilin Cao Tieliu Shi Weimin Zhu Yi Wang Lin Chen Qingchuan Zhao Hongwei Wang Lin Shen Jun Qin 2021Science China(Life Sciences)2021,64,8:3

5Association of systemic inflammation and body mass index with survival in patients with resectable gastric or gastroesophageal junction adenocarcinomas显示文摘Objective:The systemic inflammation index and body mass index(BMI)are easily accessible markers that can predict mortality.However,the prognostic value of the combined use of these two markers remains unclear.The goal of this study was therefore to evaluate the association of these markers with outcomes based on a large cohort of patients with gastric cancer.Methods:A total of 2,542 consecutive patients undergoing radical surgery for gastric or gastroesophageal junction adenocarcinoma between 2009 and 2014 were included.Systemic inflammation was quantified by the preoperative neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio(NLR).High systemic inflammation was defined as NLR≥3,and underweight was defined as BMI<18.5 kg/m2.Results:Among 2,542 patients,NLR≥3 and underweight were common[627(25%)and 349(14%),respectively].In the entire cohort,NLR≥3 or underweight independently predicted overall survival(OS)[hazard ratio(HR):1.236,95%confidence interval(95%CI):1.069–1.430;and HR:1.600,95%CI:1.350–1.897,respectively]and recurrence-free survival(RFS)(HR:1.230,95%CI:1.054–1.434;and HR:1.658,95%CI:1.389–1.979,respectively).Patients with both NLR≥3 and underweight(vs.neither)had much worse OS(HR:2.445,95%CI:1.853–3.225)and RFS(HR:2.405,95%CI:1.802–3.209).Furthermore,we observed similar results in subgroup analyses according to pathological stage,age,and postoperative chemotherapy.Conclusions:Our results showed that preoperative elevated NLR and decreased BMI had a significant negative effect on survival.Underweight combined with severe inflammation could enhance prognostication.Taking active therapeutic measures to reduce inflammation and increase nutrition may help improve outcomes.Xianchun Gao Yanan Pan Weili Han Caie Hu Chenchen Wang Ling Chen Yong Guo Yupeng Shi Yan Pan Huahong Xie Liping Yao Jianjun Yang Jianyong Zheng Xiaohua Li Xiaonan Liu Liu Hong Jipeng Li Mengbin Li Gang Ji Zengshan Li Jielai Xia Qingchuan Zhao Daiming Fan Kaichun Wu Yongzhan Nie 2021Cancer Biology & Medicine2021,18,1:2
6Scheduling Dual-Arm Cluster Tools With Multiple Wafer Types and Residency Time Constraints显示文摘Accompanying the unceasing progress of integrated circuit manufacturing technology, the mainstream production mode of current semiconductor wafer fabrication is featured with multi-variety, small batch, and individual customization, which poses a huge challenge to the scheduling of cluster tools with single-wafer-type fabrication. Concurrent processing multiple wafer types in cluster tools, as a novel production pattern, has drawn increasing attention from industry to academia, whereas the corresponding research remains insufficient. This paper investigates the scheduling problems of dual-arm cluster tools with multiple wafer types and residency time constraints. To pursue an easy-to-implement cyclic operation under diverse flow patterns,we develop a novel robot activity strategy called multiplex swap sequence. In the light of the virtual module technology, the workloads that stem from bottleneck process steps and asymmetrical process configuration are balanced satisfactorily. Moreover, several sufficient and necessary conditions with closed-form expressions are obtained for checking the system's schedulability. 7Survivin反义寡核苷酸对宣威肺腺癌细胞凋亡的影响(英文)显示文摘Objective:The aim of the study was to investigate the effects of Survivin antioligonucleotide on the proliferation,apoptosis and cell cycle of Xuanwei lung adenocarcinoma cell XWLC-05.Methods:Specific targeting Survivin ASODN was composed firstly.XWLC-05 would be divided into 4 groups:Group Sham(blank),Group Lip(simple liposome),Group Lip-SODN(transfected sense oligonucleotide) and Group Lip-ASODN(transfected ASODN).All groups had been transfected under the same condition for 48 hours.Then West blotting was used to check the expression of Survivin in cells from different groups and flow cytometer was used to find out the apoptosis rate of cells in different groups.Results:The expression of XWLC-05 Survivin in Group Lip-ASODN decreased obviously and apoptosis rate was significantly higher than that of other groups(P < 0.05).Conclusion:XWLC-05 transfected by Survivin ASODN could down regulate the expression of Survivin and lower expression of Survivin might lead to the apoptosis of XWLC-05 and restrain the proliferation of cancer cells.Weiwei Wang Gaofeng Li Zhipeng Hong Ruibing Cheng Jipeng Zhang Lianhua Ye 2011The Chinese-German Journal of Clinical Oncology2011,10,5:1
8Injectable Self‑Healing Adhesive pH‑Responsive Hydrogels Accelerate Gastric Hemostasis and Wound Healing显示文摘Endoscopic mucosal resection(EMR)and endoscopic submucosal dissection(ESD)are well-established therapeutics for gastrointestinal neoplasias,but complications after EMR/ESD,including bleeding and perforation,result in additional treatment morbidity and even threaten the lives of patients.Thus,designing biomaterials to treat gastric bleeding and wound healing after endoscopic treatment is highly desired and remains a challenge.Herein,a series of injectable pH-responsive selfhealing adhesive hydrogels based on acryloyl-6-aminocaproic acid(AA)and AA-g-N-hydroxysuccinimide(AA-NHS)were developed,and their great potential as endoscopic sprayable bioadhesive materials to efficiently stop hemorrhage and promote the wound healing process was further demonstrated in a swine gastric hemorrhage/wound model.The hydrogels showed a suitable gelation time,an autonomous and efficient self-healing capacity,hemostatic properties,and good biocompatibility.With the introduction of AA-NHS as a micro-cross-linker,the hydrogels exhibited enhanced adhesive strength.A swine gastric hemorrhage in vivo model demonstrated that the hydrogels showed good hemostatic performance by stopping acute arterial bleeding and preventing delayed bleeding.A gastric wound model indicated that the hydrogels showed excellent treatment effects with significantly enhanced wound healing with type I collagen deposition,α-SMA expression,and blood vessel formation.These injectable self-healing adhesive hydrogels exhibited great potential to treat gastric wounds after endoscopic treatment.Jiahui He Zixi Zhang Yutong Yang Fenggang Ren Jipeng Li Shaojun Zhu Feng Ma Rongqian Wu Yi Lv Gang He Baolin Guo Dake Chu 2021Nano-Micro Letters2021,13,5:1

15Layered manganese phosphorus trisulfides for high-performance lithium-ion batteries and the storage mechanism显示文摘Although advanced anode materials for the lithium-ion battery have been investigated for decades,a reliable,high-capacity,and durable material that can enable a fast charge remains elusive.Herein,we report that a metal phosphorous trichalcogenide of MnPS_(3)(manganese phosphorus trisulfide),endowed with a unique and layered van der Waals structure,is highly beneficial for the fast insertion/extraction of alkali metal ions and can facilitate changes in the buffer volume during cycles with robust structural stability.The few-layered MnPS_(3)anodes displayed the desirable specific capacity and excellent rate chargeability owing to their good electronic and ionic conductivities.When assembled as a half-cell lithium-ion battery,a high reversible capacity of 380 mA h g^(−1)was maintained by the MnPS_(3)after 3000 cycles at a high current density of 4 A g^(−1),with a capacity retention of close to or above 100%.In full-cell testing,a reversible capacity of 450 mA h g^(−1)after 200 cycles was maintained as well.The results of in-situ TEM revealed that MnPS_(3)nanoflakes maintained a high structural integrity without exhibiting any pulverization after undergoing large volumetric expansion for the insertion of a large number of lithium ions.Their kinetics of lithium-ion diffusion,stable structure,and high pseudocapacitance contributed to their comprehensive performance,for example,a high specific capacity,rapid charge-discharge,and long cyclability.MnPS_(3)is thus an efficient anode for the next generation of batteries with a fast charge/discharge capability.Hailin Shen Yueling Cai Zhongtao Ma Peng Wang Bingkun Guo Jipeng Cheng Qianqian Li Hongtao Wang Zhongyuan Liu Anmin Nie Jinsong Wu 2023Carbon Energy2023,5,3:1
16Surface structure change properties:Auto-soft bionic fibrous membrane in reducing postoperative adhesion显示文摘Peritoneal adhesion is the most common adverse effect following abdominal surgery or inflammation.The occurrence in clinical trials has been successfully reduced using barriers.However,the shortcomings of frequently used adhesion barriers,such as rapid degradation rate of gel barrier and inadequate operation ability of solid barrier,cannot be ignored.In this study,a fibrous membrane with an ECM-like structure was prepared.The adhesion properties were reduced significantly by changing the surface structure.The fibrous membrane caused less inflammatory response and much less peripheral adhesion and intestinal obstruction compared to the casting film and the commercial film with smooth surface,though with the same components.Because of the auto-soft bionic structure and similarity in the mechanical modulus of the tissues,the fibrous membrane was more flexible when it adhered to the tissues,showed excellent effectiveness and biocompatibility.In addition to the rat and miniature pig models,a randomized,placebo-controlled,and multicenter clinical pilot study with 150 patients confirmed that because of its flexibility,biodegradability,and similarity to mechanical modulus and structure with tissues involved,the fibrous membrane served as a favorable implant for preventing post-operation adhesion.Shanshan Xu Chenhong Wang Ruoqing Mao Xiaoyu Liang Heran Wang Zhenyu Lin Jiangxue Li Shilin Li Jipeng Jiang Tongshuo Zhang Yongfu Ma Yang Liu Charles C.Han Ying Liu 2022Bioactive Materials2022,7,6:1
