| 1 | Welding Deviation Detection Algorithm Based on Extremum of Molten Pool Image Contour显示文摘The welding deviation detection is the basis of robotic tracking welding, but the on-line real-time measurement of welding deviation is still not well solved by the existing methods. There is plenty of information in the gas metal arc welding(GMAW) molten pool images that is very important for the control of welding seam tracking. The physical meaning for the curvature extremum of molten pool contour is revealed by researching the molten pool images, that is, the deviation information points of welding wire center and the molten tip center are the maxima and the local maxima of the contour curvature, and the horizontal welding deviation is the position difference of these two extremum points. A new method of weld deviation detection is presented, including the process of preprocessing molten pool images, extracting and segmenting the contours, obtaining the contour extremum points, and calculating the welding deviation, etc. Extracting the contours is the premise, segmenting the contour lines is the foundation, and obtaining the contour extremum points is the key. The contour images can be extracted with the method of discrete dyadic wavelet transform, which is divided into two sub contours including welding wire and molten tip separately. The curvature value of each point of the two sub contour lines is calculated based on the approximate curvature formula of multi-points for plane curve, and the two points of the curvature extremum are the characteristics needed for the welding deviation calculation. The results of the tests and analyses show that the maximum error of the obtained on-line welding deviation is 2 pixels(0.16 mm), and the algorithm is stable enough to meet the requirements of the pipeline in real-time control at a speed of less than 500 mm/min. | 3 | Analysis of Powdery Mildew Resistance in Wild Melon MLO Mutants显示文摘Wild species have a potential value in crop breeding. Explore MLO gene which related with powdery mildew natural resistance is very important for improving the quality of melon. Resistance to powdery mildew was examined in cultivar and wild species by leaf inoculation. The wild germplasms showed resistance to powdery mildew Race1. Cloning and sequence analysis of the Cm MLO2 gene identified an 85 bp difference between the wild and cultivated species. The Cm MLO2 gene was expressed in the wild germplasm after fluorescence-labeled Agrobacterium-mediated transformation. A positive transgenic plant showed successful invasion by powdery mildew Race1. | 15 | Graph Convolutional Network Combined with Semantic Feature Guidance for Deep Clustering显示文摘The performances of semisupervised clustering for unlabeled data are often superior to those of unsupervised learning,which indicates that semantic information attached to clusters can significantly improve feature representation capability.In a graph convolutional network(GCN),each node contains information about itself and its neighbors that is beneficial to common and unique features among samples.Combining these findings,we propose a deep clustering method based on GCN and semantic feature guidance(GFDC) in which a deep convolutional network is used as a feature generator,and a GCN with a softmax layer performs clustering assignment.First,the diversity and amount of input information are enhanced to generate highly useful representations for downstream tasks.Subsequently,the topological graph is constructed to express the spatial relationship of features.For a pair of datasets,feature correspondence constraints are used to regularize clustering loss,and clustering outputs are iteratively optimized.Three external evaluation indicators,i.e.,clustering accuracy,normalized mutual information,and the adjusted Rand index,and an internal indicator,i.e., the Davidson-Bouldin index(DBI),are employed to evaluate clustering performances.Experimental results on eight public datasets show that the GFDC algorithm is significantly better than the majority of competitive clustering methods,i.e.,its clustering accuracy is20% higher than the best clustering method on the United States Postal Service dataset.The GFDC algorithm also has the highest accuracy on the smaller Amazon and Caltech datasets.Moreover,DBI indicates the dispersion of cluster distribution and compactness within the cluster. | Junfen Chen Jie Han Xiangjie Meng Yan Li Haifeng Li | 2022 | Tsinghua Science and Technology2022,27,5: | 1 |

| 19 | Nanoengineered Gallium Ion Incorporated Formulation for Safe and Efficient Reversal of PARP Inhibition and Platinum Resistance in Ovarian Cancer显示文摘Platinum-based chemotherapy remains the main systemic treatment of ovarian cancer(OC).However,the inevitable development of platinum and poly(adenosine diphosphate-ribose)polymerase inhibitor(PARPi)resistance is associated with poor outcomes,which becomes a major obstacle in the management of this disease.The present study developed“all-in-one”nanoparticles that contained the PARPi olaparib and gallium(Ga)(III)(olaparib-Ga)to effectively reverse PARPi resistance in platinum-resistant A2780-cis and SKOV3-cis OC cells and in SKOV3-cis tumor models.Notably,the olaparib-Ga suppressed SKOV3-cis tumor growth with negligible toxicity.Moreover,the suppression effect was more evident when combining olaparib-Ga with cisplatin or carboplatin,as evaluated in A2780-cis and SKOV3-cis cells.Mechanistically,the combined treatment induced DNA damage,which elicited the activation of ataxia telangiectasia mutated(ATM)/AMT-and Rad3-related(ATR)checkpoint kinase 1(Chk1)/Chk2 signal transduction pathways.This led to the arrest of cell cycle progression at S and G2/M phases,which eventually resulted in apoptosis and cell death due to unrepairable DNA damage.In addition,effective therapeutic responses to olaparib-Ga and cisplatin combination or olaparib-Ga and carboplatin combination were observed in SKOV3-cis tumor-bearing animal models.Altogether,the present findings demonstrate that olaparib-Ga has therapeutic implications in platinum-resistant OC cells,and the combination of olaparib-Ga with cisplatin or carboplatin may be promising for treating patients with OC who exhibit resistance to both PARPi and platinum. | Yangyang Li Yixuan Cen Mengyan Tu Zhenzhen Xiang Sangsang Tang Weiguo Lu Hongbo Zhang Junfen Xu | 2023 | Research2023,,3: | 0 |
