1Quantitative Trait Loci for Panicle Layer Uniformity Identified in Doubled Haploid Lines of Rice in Two Environments显示文摘Uniformity of stem height in rice directly affects crop yield potential and appearance,and has become a vital index for rice improvement.In the present study,a doubled haploid(DH) population,derived from a cross between japonica rice Chunjiang 06 and indica rice TN1 was used to analyze the quantitative trait locus(QTL) for three related traits of paniclelayer-uniformity;that is,the tallest panicle height,the lowest panicle height and panicle layer disuniformity in two locations:Hangzhou(HZ) and Hainan(HN).A total of 16 QTLs for three traits distributed on eight chromosomes were detected in two different environments.Two QTLs,qTPH-4 and qTPH-8 were co-located with the QTLs for qLPH-4 and qLPH-8,which were only significant in the HZ environment,whereas the qTPH-6 and qLPH-6 located at the same interval were only significant in the HN environment.Two QTLs,qPLD-10-1 and qPLD-10-2,were closely linked to qTPH-10,and they might have been at the same locus.One QTL,qPLD-3,was detected in both environments,explaining more than 23% of the phenotypic variations.The CJ06 allele of qPLD-3 could increase the panicle layer disuniformity by 9.23 and 4.74 cm in the HZ and HN environments.Except for qPLD-3,almost all other QTLs for the same trait were detected only in one environment,indicating that these three traits were dramatically affected by environmental factors.The results may be useful for elucidation of the molecular mechanism of panicle-layer-uniformity and marker assisted breeding for super-rice.Liangyong Ma Jinsong Bao Longbiao Guo Dali Zeng Ximing Li Zhijuan Ji Yingwu Xia Changdeng Yang Qian Qian 2009Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2009,51,9:7
2Evaluation of efficacy and safety of gandouling plus sodium dimercaptosulphonate in treatment of patients with neurological Wilson's disease from China显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the efficacy and safety of gandouling plus sodium dimercaptosulphonate(DMPS) on neurological Wilson's disease(WD) in patients.METHODS: We retrospectively evaluated the clinical records of 125 WD patients with neurological syndromes who were treated with gandouling plus sodium DMPS or DMPS used alone. All patients had a history of neurological deterioration during their diseases courses. The clinical efficacies, adverse reactions, and results of the various hematological and biochemical investigations were recorded for statistical analysis.RESULTS: 92.30%(60 patients) of the WD patients treated with the combined therapy experienced an improved or stable neurological condition paral-leled by a significantly improved GAS score. Meanwhile, the WBC and PLT counts stabilized, liver function and renal function were improved or remained stable. The combined therapy also obviously promoted the 24-h urinary copper excretion. 5Mapping QTLs for heading synchrony in a doubled haploid population of rice in two environments显示文摘Simultaneous heading of plants within the same rice variety, also refer to heading synchrony, is an important factor that affects simultaneous ripening of the variety. Understanding of the genetic basis of heading synchrony may contribute to molecular breeding of rice with simultaneous heading and ripening. In the present study, a doubled haploid (DH) population, derived from a cross between Chunjiang 06 and TN1 was used to analyze quantitative trait locus (QTL) for heading synchrony related traits, i.e., early heading date (EHD), late heading date (LHD), heading asynchrony (HAS), and tiller number (PN). A total of 19 QTLs for four traits distributed on nine chromosomes were detected in two environments. One QTL, qHAS-8 for HAS, explained 27.7% of the phenotypic variation, co-located with the QTLs for EHD and LHD, but it was only significant under long-day conditions in Hangzhou, China. The other three QTLs, qHAS-6, qHAS-9, and qHAS-10, were identified under short-day conditions in Hainan, China, each of which explained about 11% of the phenotypic variation. Two of them, qHAS-6 and qHAS-9, were co-located with the QTLs for EHD and LHD. Two QTLs, qPN-4 and qPN-5 for PN, were detected in Hangzhou, and qPN-5 was also detected in Hainan. However, none of them was co-located with QTLs for EHD, LHD, and HAS, suggesting that PN and HAS were controlled by different genetic factors. 6Mapping of Wbph6(t)-a new gene resistant to white-backed planthopper显示文摘Whitebacked planthopper (WBPH, Sogatella furcifera Horvath) is one of the most destructive insects for rice. The utilization of WBPH resistance genes is always an efficient solution to this problem. Besides five WBPH resistance genes registered, Wbph1, Wbph2, Wbph3, wbph4, and Wbph5, classical segregation analysis and allelism test showed that several rice landraces from Yunan Province, China, carried a new dominant resistance gene Wbph6(t). 7Clinical efficacy and safety of Gandouling plus low-dose D-penicillamine for treatment of Wilson's disease with neurological symptoms显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effect and safety of Gandouling plus low-dose D-penicillamine for treating patients with Wilson's disease(WD) who have neurological symptoms.METHODS: WD patients with neurological symptoms were divided into two groups: a treatment group(n = 53) and a control group(n = 50). The treatment group received anti-copper therapy with a combination of Gandouling and low-dose D-penicillamine(10 mg/kg), whereas the control group was with conventional dose D-penicillamine(20 mg/kg) monotherapy. The clinical efficacies, adverse reactions, and results of the various hematological and biochemical investigations were recorded and analyzed statistically.RESULTS: Overall, 98.11% of the WD patients treated with the combined therapy experienced alleviation of their neurological condition(paralleled by asignificantly improved Global Assessment Scale score or remained stable). Their white blood cell and platelet counts stabilized, and their liver function was improved or remained stable. The combined therapy also obviously promoted improved24-h urinary copper excretion. Only 15.09% of the WD patients with the combined therapy experienced adverse reactions, including neurological deterioration in one case(1.89%) and hepatic worsening in one case(1.89%), which was less frequent than that in the control group given conventional-dose D-penicillamine monotherapy.CONCLUSION: Treating WD patients with neurological symptoms using Gandouling plus low-dose D-penicillamine is effective and safe.Zhang Jing Li Liangyong Chen Huaizhen Yang Wenming 2018Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2018,38,1:1

10Oriented Generation of Novel Thermo-Sensitive Genic Male Sterile Lines with Improved Grain Shape and Outcrossing Rate in Early-Season Rice显示文摘Two-line hybrid rice with excellent quality is preferred in the Chinese market.However,there is a trade-off between reducing costs for hybrid seed production and lowering the outcrossing rate of the sterile line,which is largely determined by the stigma exsertion rate(SER).In this study,we constructed mutants of male sterility lines with improved grain length(GL)and SER in three elite early-season indica rice varieties through targeted manipulation of the TMS5 and GS3 genes using CRISPR/Cas9-mediated multiplex systems.We obtained a series of marker-free gs3 single mutants and gs3tms5 double mutants with significantly higher SER,longer grains,and increased 1000-grain weight compared with the wild type(WT).Importantly,the typically thermo-sensitive genic male sterile(TGMS)trait with a higher SER was observed in gs3tms5 mutants,and their F1 hybrids exhibited remarkable improvements in grain shape and yield-related traits.Our findings provided an efficient method to generate new valuable TGMS germplasm with improved SER through the mutagenesis of GS3 and TMS5 synergistically,and demonstrated that GS3 had pleiotropic effects on grain size,SER,and grain quality in early-season indica rice.ZHANG Huali CHEN Junyu LI Ruiqing WANG Huimei DAI Dongqing LIANG Minmin WU Mingyue MA Liangyong 2024Rice science2024,31,2:0

12Analysis of Performance Stability and Clinical Efficacy of OBERS - 3000 Hemodialysis Machine显示文摘Objective To explore the method of safety and efficacy validation of hemodialysis machine,and observe the clinical efficacy of OBERS-3000 multifunctional hemodialysis machine.Methods Randomized,open,two-phase crossover and positive control design,a total of 72 patients from two hospitals were included.OBERS-3000 multifunctional hemodialysis machine was the test machine,and the Fresenius 4008 series hemodialysis machine was as the control machine,indicators of blood routine test,serum electrolytes,liver and kidney function test,blood gas analysis,CRP were compared,body weight before and after hemodialysis,ultrafiltration volume were recorded,urea clearance index,urea reduction ratio were calculated.The XL90 conductivity meter was connected in series in the test machine,to monitor the temperature,conductance,venous pressure and arterial pressure during the dialysis in real time,and the measured value were compared with the machine monitoring value.Results Both of the test machine and the control machine could effectively eliminate creatinine,urea nitrogen and other uremic toxins,could continuously supply qualified dialysate,and precisely control the ultrafiltration volume.There were no significant differences in temperature,conductance,venous pressure and arterial pressure monitoring with the real time measured value by XL90 conductivity meter.Conclusions OBERS-3000 multifunctional hemodialysis machine can effectively eliminate uremic toxins,maintain electrolyte and acid-base balance,and can accurately display the monitoring parameters.Lianghong Yin Bo Hu Lihua Luo Lifeng Yang Guanmin Wu Liangyong Hu Fanna Liu Yu Chen Peitian Yang Long Xiao Huiyuan Zheng Tong Liu Hongwei Hu Chen Yun Ying Huang Xia Yu Folan Li Aiyun Cha Xiangnan Dong Huanhuan Liu Mingming Ma Yongpin Lu Taksui Wong Baozhang Guan Yingming Gu Zuhui Chen 2017临床医学工程2017,24,S1:0
