| 2 | Impacts of Social and Demographic Factors on Residents' Subjective Well-being in Rural China显示文摘The objective of social development is to construct a harmonious society.In China,the key to a harmonious society is the happiness of more than 900 million farmers living in the rural areas.This study aimed to measure rural residents' subjective well-being(SWB) through the day reconstruction method,as well as to analyze SWB's influencing factors through a variety of statistical methods.The results showed that the average U index was 12.79%,indicating that respondents were unhappy 12.79% of the time.Twenty-seven percent of the population had a U index greater than 0,with the average value being 47%,indicating that these people were unhappy 47% of the time.The study also found that SWB varied according to the characteristics of the respondents.Logistic regression analysis showed that social and demographic factors,including age,education,county,household size,generation number,per capita income,migration status and social networking,which significantly affected rural residents' SWB.The size of the impact varied with the different factors. | Wang Jian Meng Qingyue Winnie Yip Sun Qiang Qu Jiangbin Jia Liying | 2010 | Chinese Journal of Population,Resources and Environment2010,8,1: | 3 |

| 5 | Basic fibroblast growth factor improves learning and memory deficits in a mouse model of vascular dementia: Associated with the role of free radicals clearance?显示文摘BACKGROUND:Basic fibroblast growth factor(bFGF) exhibits neuroprotective functions,but the possible mechanisms of bFGF on vascular dementia remain unclear.OBJECTIVE:To explore the neuroprotective effects of bFGF on a mouse model of vascular dementia,with focus on oxidative damage.DESIGN,TIME AND SETTING:A randomized,controlled,animal experiment was performed at the Medical College of Beihua University from March to December 2008.MATERIALS:bFGF was purchased from Peprotech,USA.METHODS:A total of 80 healthy,Kunming mice were randomly assigned to control,sham-surgery,model,and bFGF groups.The model and bFGF groups were used to establish vascular dementia models by repetitive cerebral ischemia-reperfusion in a conscious state.In addition,bFGF group mice were intraperitoneally injected with bFGF(100 μg/kg) following model establishment,once a day for 7 consecutive days.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES:The Morris water maze was used to determine the influence of bFGF on learning and memory abilities in vascular dementia mice.The pathomorphological changes in hippocampal CA1 neurons were observed by Nissl staining.Superoxide dismutase and malondialdehyde changes were analyzed using biochemical analysis methods.Annexin V-FITC/PI-double-labeled flow cytometry was used to detect neuronal apoptosis.RESULTS:Learning and memory functions in model mice significantly decreased,as characterized by prolonged latency and reduced time and number of platform crossings(P < 0.01,P < 0.05).Superoxide dismutase activity was significantly reduced,malondialdehyde content was significantly increased(P < 0.01),and hippocampal neuronal apoptosis was increased(P < 0.01) following vascular dementia.bFGF increased superoxide dismutase activity,decreased malondialdehyde content,and reduced hippocampal neuronal apoptosis(P < 0.01),which resulted in improved learning and memory in mice with vascular dementia.CONCLUSION:bFGF improved learning and memory deficits in mice with vascular dementia by reducing free radical injury and inhibiting hippocampal neuronal apoptosis. | Xian Qu Chunying Li Chang Su Bing Li Liying Wang | 2010 | Neural Regeneration Research2010,5,13: | 1 |
| 6 | Impact of living donor liver with steatosis and idiopathic portal inflammation on clinical outcomes in pediatric liver transplantation:Beijing experience显示文摘Background:To evaluate the impact of steatosis and/or idiopathic portal inflammation(IPI)in living donor livers on recipients’clinical outcomes.Methods:We assessed 305 qualified donor liver samples from June 2013 to December 2018.Donors and recipients’clinical characteristics,including follow-up data were retrieved.The graft and overall survival with/without steatosis or portal inflammation were compared by Kaplan-Meier analysis.Results:For living donors,the medium age of was 31.2(28,35.8)years old;liver histopathology showed macrovesicular steatosis:0-5%264/305(86.6%)and 5-30%41/305(13.4%),IPI:no 220/305(72.1%)and mild 85/305(27.9%).For recipients,the medium age was 1.0(0.6,1.5)years old;the median pediatric-end-stage-liver-disease score was 16(5.0,26.0)and medium follow-up time was 32.8(24.8,52.0)months.Biliary atresia(69.5%)was the main indication for liver transplantation(LT).Conclusions:The presence of steatosis and portal inflammation of the donor liver did not impact the clinical outcomes including transaminase or bilirubin normalization,short-/long-term complications and recipients’survival.However,recipients with high pediatric-end-stage-liver-disease score(>16)receiving donor liver with portal inflammation,but not steatosis,had trend negative effect on recipients’survival.In conclusion,donor livers with mild steatosis and portal inflammation were qualified for pediatric living donor LT.However,donor liver with mild portal inflammation would better not be allocated to recipients with high pediatric-end-stage-liver-disease score.This study provided new evidence in pediatric living donor liver allocation. | Xinyan Zhao Yafei He Jimin Liu Qian Zhang Liwei Liu Wei Qu Ying Liu Zhigui Zeng Haiming Zhang Jidong Jia Liying Sun Lin Wei Zhijun Zhu | 2022 | Hepatobiliary Surgery and Nutrition2022,11,3: | 1 |
| 7 | Quantitatively mapping local quality of super-resolution microscopy by rolling Fourier ring correlation显示文摘In fluorescence microscopy,computational algorithms have been developed to suppress noise,enhance contrast,and even enable super-resolution(SR).However,the local quality of the images may vary on multiple scales,and these differences can lead to misconceptions.Current mapping methods fail to finely estimate the local quality,challenging to associate the SR scale content.Here,we develop a rolling Fourier ring correlation(rFRC)method to evaluate the reconstruction uncertainties down to SR scale.To visually pinpoint regions with low reliability,a filtered rFRC is combined with a modified resolution-scaled error map(RSM),offering a comprehensive and concise map for further examination.We demonstrate their performances on various SR imaging modalities,and the resulting quantitative maps enable better SR images integrated from different reconstructions.Overall,we expect that our framework can become a routinely used tool for biologists in assessing their image datasets in general and inspire further advances in the rapidly developing field of computational imaging. | Weisong Zhao Xiaoshuai Huang Jianyu Yang Liying Qu Guohua Qiu Yue Zhao Xinwei Wang Deer Su Xumin Ding Heng Mao Yaming Jiu Ying Hu Jiubin Tan Shiqun Zhao Leiting Pan Liangyi Chen Haoyu Li | 2023 | Light(Science & Applications)2023,12,12: | 0 |
| 8 | Optimization of Crosswalk Width Based on Bi-Directional Pedestrian Crossing Time at Signalized Intersections显示文摘The effects of the interactions between bi-directional pedestrians on the crossing time and the crosswalk width are studied. Firstly,the crossing process of bi-directional pedestrians is analyzed.The total crosswalk time is divided into a discharge time and a crossing time. The interactions between bi-directional pedestrians are quantified with the drag force theory. Then,a model is developed to study the crossing time based on the kinetic energy theory and momentum theory. Subsequently,the related parameters of the proposed model are calibrated with observed information. The relationships among crosswalk width,signal time,pedestrian volume and level of service are simulated with the proposed model. The results are verified and compared with other models. The proposed model has an absolute value of relative error of 9. 38%,which is smaller than that of the Alhajyaseen model( 15. 26%) and Highway Capacity Manual( HCM) model( 12. 42%).
