| 1 | Energy dependence on modes of electric activities of neuron driven by different external mixed signals under electromagnetic induction显示文摘Energy supply and release play an important role in individual neuron and neural network. In this paper, the electrical activities and Hamilton energy of neuron are investigated when external mixed signals(i.e., the periodic stimulus current and the periodic electromagnetic field) are imposed on the neuron under the electromagnetic induction. As a result, the Hamilton energy is much dependent on the mode transition, the multiple electric activity modes and the numerical analysis of Hamilton energy are more complicated under various parameters. When the periodic high-low frequency electromagnetic radiation is imposed in neuron, it is found that the electrical activities are more complex, and the changing of energy is obvious. In addition, the response of electrical activity and Hamilton energy is much dependent on the changing of amplitude A, B when the external high-low frequency signal is imposed on the neuron, meanwhile, the energy of bursting state is lower than the one of spiking state. | 2 | Evaluation of the Tropical Variability from the Beijing Climate Center's Real-Time Operational Global Ocean Data Assimilation System显示文摘The second-generation Global Ocean Data Assimilation System of the Beijing Climate Center(BCC_GODAS2.0) has been run daily in a pre-operational mode.It spans the period 1990 to the present day.The goal of this paper is to introduce the main components and to evaluate BCC_GODAS2.0 for the user community.BCC_GODAS2.0 consists of an observational data preprocess,ocean data quality control system,a three-dimensional variational(3DVAR) data assimilation,and global ocean circulation model[Modular Ocean Model 4(MOM4)].MOM4 is driven by six-hourly fluxes from the National Centers for Environmental Prediction.Satellite altimetry data,SST,and in-situ temperature and salinity data are assimilated in real time.The monthly results from the BCC_GODAS2.0 reanalysis are compared and assessed with observations for 1990-2011.The climatology of the mixed layer depth of BCC-GODAS2.0 is generally in agreement with that of World Ocean Atlas 2001.The modeled sea level variations in the tropical Pacific are consistent with observations from satellite altimetry on interannual to decadal time scales.Performances in predicting variations in the SST using BCC_GODAS2.0 are evaluated.The standard deviation of the SST in BCC-GODAS2.0 agrees well with observations in the tropical Pacific.BCC-GODAS2.0 is able to capture the main features of E1 Nino Modoki I and Modoki Ⅱ,which have different impacts on rainfall in southern China.In addition,the relationships between the Indian Ocean and the two types of E1 Nino Modoki are also reproduced. | Wei ZHOU Mengyan CHEN Wei ZHUANG Fanghua XU Fei ZHENG Tongwen WU Xin WANG | 2016 | Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2016,33,2: | 5 |
| 3 | Advancement in separation materials for blood purification therapy显示文摘Blood purification refers to the extra corporeal therapies of removing potentially toxic substances, in which blood is circulated through an adsorption system loading separation materials. High-efficient inexpensive separation materials are critical to success. In this review, separation materials such as polymers and nanomaterials are summarized and compared. Combining the advantages of the adsorptive membranes and nanomaterials, organic–inorganic hybrid/blend membranes have been developed explosively. These hybrid/blend membranes have both the characteristics of high permeability, easy fabrication, good biocompatibility of adsorptive membranes, and characteristics of fast adsorption rate and high adsorption capacity of nanomaterials. The preparation and modification methodology of the separation materials is reviewed. For affinity separation materials, the relationship of ligand chemistry, ligand density and pores of the matrix is discussed. | 4 | Sodium citrate and biochar synergistic improvement of nanoscale zero-valent iron composite for the removal of chromium(Ⅵ)in aqueous solutions显示文摘Sodium citrate(SC)is a widely-used food and industrial additive with the properties of com-plexation and microbial degradation.In the present study,nano-zero-valent iron reaction system(SC-nZVI@BC)was successfully established by modifying nanoscale zero-valent iron(nZVI)with SC and biochar(BC),and was employed to remove Cr(Ⅵ)from aqueous solu-tions.The nZVI,SC-nZVI and SC-nZVI@BC were characterized and compared using X-ray diffraction(XRD),Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),thermogravimetric analy-ses(TGA),vibrating sample magnetometer(VSM),scanning electron microscope(SEM),X-ray diffraction(XRD)and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS).The results showed that nZVI was successfully loaded on the biochar,and both the agglomeration and surface pas-sivation problems of nanoparticles were well resolved.The dosage of SC,C∶Fe,initial pH and Cr(Ⅵ)concentration demonstrated direct effects on the removal efficiency.The maximum Cr(Ⅵ)removal rate and the removal capacity within 60 min were 99.7%and 199.46 mg/g,respectively(C∶Fe was 1∶1,SC dosage was 1.12 mol.%,temperature was 25℃,pH=7,and the original concentration of Cr(Ⅵ)was 20 mg/L).The reaction confirmed to follow the pseudo-second-order reaction kinetics,and the order of the reaction rate constant k was as follows:SC-nZVI@BC>nZVI@BC>SC-nZVI>nZVI.In addition,the mechanism of Cr(Ⅵ)removal by SC-nZVI@BC mainly involved adsorption,reduction and co-precipitation,and the reduction of Cr(Ⅵ)to Cr(Ⅲ)by nano Fe0 played a vital role.Findings from the present study demon-strated that the SC-nZVI@BC exhibited excellent removal efficiency toward Cr(Ⅵ)with an improved synergistic characteristic by SC and BC. | Hongyi Zhou Mengyao Ye Yongkang Zhao Shams Ali Baig Ning Huang Mengyan Ma | 2022 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2022,34,5: | 3 |

| 6 | The Combined Effect of Plastic Particles Size and Concentration on Rotifers’ (Brachionus plicatilis) Performance显示文摘The presence of microplastics in aquatic ecosystems is of increasing global concern.Nano-sized plastics,in particular,can penetrate the cell membrane and cause biological death.Our study evaluated the combined impacts of several polystyrene mi-crospheres’sizes and nominal concentrations on the overall performance changes of Brachionus plicatilis.Experimental animals were exposed to three microplastic sizes(0.08,0.5 and 6μm)and five nominal concentrations(0,0.5,2,8,32μg mL−1)for 20 d.Our results showed that the toxicological effect of particle size on rotifers did not significantly depend on the nominal concentration.The interaction between the nominal concentration and size occurred only for body length and lorica width.Specifically,high nominal concentrations of microplastics that were close to nanometer size significantly impaired the overall vitality of rotifers,embodied in shortage of body type,delay in the arrival of maturity,reduction in the cumulative number of neonates,and the advance of the death process.In comparison,fair-sized size(0.5 and 6μm)displayed non-significant damage except for individual groups.Most notably,the net reproductive yield was only a third of what it was in the original environment,implying that there was not much fertility left.Besides,with the development of rotifers,the adverse effects of polystyrene microsphere drive had become more and more serious. | SUI Yanming WANG Senyang MOHSEN Mohamed ZHANG Longsheng SHEN Mengyan LIU Zhiquan NGUYEN Haidang ZHANG Shengmao LI Kaixing LV Linlan DONG Xuexing | 2022 | Journal of Ocean University of China2022,21,2: | 3 |
| 7 | Improvement on the interface properties of p-GaAs/n-InP heterojunction for wafer bonded four-junction solar cells显示文摘The p-GaAs/n-InP heterojunction was fabricated by direct wafer bonding technology. The optimized atomic level contact between GaAs and InP is critical for getting good ohmic contact and removing the bubbles or voids at the interface, which is helpful to enhance the efficiency of wafer bonded multi-junction solar cells. Through the surface megasonic cleaning and the plasma treatment, we have achieved the high quality bonding interface without bubbles or voids and with interface resistivity of about 0.1 ohms/cm^2. | 8 | The novel ER stress inducer Sec C triggers apoptosis by sulfating ER cysteine residues and degrading YAP via ER stress in pancreatic cancer cells显示文摘Pancreatic adenocarcinoma(PAAD) is one of the most lethal malignancies. Although gemcitabine(GEM) is a standard treatment for PAAD, resistance limits its application and therapy. Secoemestrin C(Sec C) is a natural compound from the endophytic fungus Emericella, and its anticancer activity has not been investigated since it was isolated. Our research is the first to indicate that Sec C is a broad-spectrum anticancer agent and could exhibit potently similar anticancer activity both in GEM-resistant and GEM-sensitive PAAD cells. Interestingly, Sec C exerted a rapid growth-inhibiting effect(80% death at 6 h), which might be beneficial for patients who need rapid tumor shrinkage before surgery. Liquid chromatography/mass spectrometry and N-acetyl-L-cysteine(NAC) reverse assays show that Sec C sulfates cysteines to disrupt disulfide-bonds formation in endoplasmic reticulum(ER) proteins to cause protein misfolding, leading to ER stress and disorder of lipid biosynthesis. Microarray data and subsequent assays show that ER stress-mediated ER-associated degradation(ERAD) ubiquitinates anddownregulates YAP to enhance ER stress via destruction complex(YAP-Axin-GSK-βTr CP), which also elucidates a unique degrading style for YAP. | 9 | Research on sea surface temperature retrieval by the one-dimensional synthetic aperture microwave radiometer, 1D-SAMR显示文摘Due to the low spatial resolution of sea surface temperature(T_S)retrieval by real aperture microwave radiometers,in this study,an iterative retrieval method that minimizes the differences between brightness temperature(T_B)measured and modeled was used to retrieve sea surface temperature with a one-dimensional synthetic aperture microwave radiometer,temporarily named 1 D-SAMR.Regarding the configuration of the radiometer,an angular resolution of 0.43°was reached by theoretical calculation.Experiments on sea surface temperature retrieval were carried out with ideal parameters;the results show that the main factors affecting the retrieval accuracy of sea surface temperature are the accuracy of radiometer calibration and the precision of auxiliary geophysical parameters.In the case of no auxiliary parameter errors,the greatest error in retrieved sea surface temperature is obtained at low T_S scene(i.e.,0.7106 K for the incidence angle of 35°under the radiometer calibration accuracy of0.5 K).While errors on auxiliary parameters are assumed to follow a Gaussian distribution,the greatest error on retrieved sea surface temperature was 1.3305 K at an incidence angle of 65°in poorly known sea surface wind speed(W)(the error on W of 1.0 m/s)over high W scene,for the radiometer calibration accuracy of 0.5 K. | Weihua Ai Mengyan Feng Guanyu Chen Wen Lu | 2020 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2020,39,5: | 2 |
