1Effects of Rare Earth elements on microstructure evolution and mechanical properties of 718H pre-hardened mold steel显示文摘718 H Pre-ha rdened mold steels with diffe rent Rare Earth(RE) contents were prepared to investigate the influence of RE on microstructure evolution and mechanical properties through a series of experiments and theoretical analysis.The results indicated that the toal oxygen(T.O) content decreased from 15 ppm to 6 ppm with 0.022 wt% RE addition,which is attributed to the active chemical properties of RE elements.For test steels,RE additions of 0.012 wt% and 0.022 wt% were significantly effective for refining inclusions by eliminating 11.5% large-sized inclusions with diameter exceeding 10 μm compared with that of ORE steel.RE addition contributed to modify irregular MnS and Al2 O3 inclusions into ellipsoidal RE-inclusions(RE2 O,RES,RE2 O2 S and REAlO3).The purification of molten steel and the modification of inclusions by RE treatment have significant effects on improvement of the fatigue crack growth tests(FCG) inhibition ability and impact energy as well as the isotropy.However,excessive addition of RE elements(0.07 wt%)seriously reduced the impact energy,ultimate tensile strength and FCG inhibition ability due to rapidly increase of the volume fraction of large-sized inclusions.In addition to the inclusions formed by RE treatment,trace solid solution RE atoms improve the stability of undercooled austenite,resulting in the transformation region of bainite and perlite of 0.07 RE steel shifting to the bottom right and prolonging the incubation period compared with that of ORE steel.Hanghang Liu Paixian Fu Hongwei Liu Yanfei Cao Chen Sun Ningyu Du Dianzhong Li 2020Journal of Materials Science & Technology2020,47,15:11
2Commissioning progress of the FAST显示文摘The Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical radio Telescope(FAST) was completed with its main structure installed on September 25, 2016, after which it entered the commissioning phase. This paper aims to introduce the commissioning progress of the FAST over the past two years. To improve its operational reliability and ensure effective observation time, FAST has been equipped with a real-time information system for the active reflector system and hierarchical commissioning scheme for the feed support system, which ultimately achieves safe operation of the two systems. For meeting the high-performance indices, a highprecision measurement system was set up based on the effective control methods that were implemented for the active reflector system and feed support system. Since the commissioning of the FAST, a low-frequency ultra-wideband receiver and 19-beam1.05-1.45 GHz receiver have been mainly used. Telescope efficiency, pointing accuracy, and system noise temperature were completely tested and ultimately achieved the acceptance indices of the telescope. The FAST has been in the process of national acceptance preparations and has begun to search for pulsars. 3Characterization of spontaneous otoacoustic emissions in 2–4 day old neonates with respect to gender and ear显示文摘BACKGROUND: Spontaneous otoacoustic emissions (SOAEs) are regarded as a valuable audio- metric parameter that objectively reflects the function of outer hair cells (OHCs). Many studies have reported that the incidence of SOAEs in adults is less than 50%. Therefore, measurement of SOAEs may be of little value to clinical examinations. However, the incidence of SOAEs in infants and neonates is higher than in adults. OBJECTIVE: To analyze the basic characteristics of SOAEs in 2–4 day old neonates, and to dem- onstrate the difference in OHC function between sexes and ears. DESIGN, TIME AND SETTING: Neurophysiological contrast study, performed in the Department of Neonates, Beijing Chaoyang Hospital, Capital Medical University, between December 2007 and August 2008. PARTICIPANTS: A total of 112 newborns (224 ears) consisting of 59 females and 53 males were included in this study. METHODS: The probe was adapted and embedded in the neonate external auditory canal with a foam rubber earplug after checking and clearing up the outer ear canal. The presence of SOAEs was determined when the signal amplitude had a clear peak exceeding –30 dB, or was 3 dB above the noise floor. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: The incidence of SOAEs, the number of SOAE signal peaks, and the maximal tension of SOAEs. RESULTS: The incidence in females (79.7%) was higher than males (76.4%) (P > 0.05), and the incidence in right ears (86.6%) was higher than in left ears (69.6%) (P < 0.05). There were no sig- nificant difference in the number of SOAE peaks between females and males (4.49 vs. 4.28), or between right ears and left ears (4.62 vs. 4.12) (P > 0.05). The mean maximum SOAE level per ear in females (–3.29 ± 9.28) dB sound pressure level (SPL) was slightly higher than that in males (–3.91 ± 9.14) dB SPL (P > 0.05). Also, the mean maximum SOAE level in right ears (–2.03 ± 9.11) dB SPL was higher than in left ears (–5.50 ± 9.65) dB SPL (P < 0.05). The maximum SOAE level showed a positive correlation with maximum SOAE number in emitting ears (r = 0.55, P < 0.01). CONCLUSION: The incidence of SOAEs in neonates is high (78.1%) within 4 days of birth. The in-cidence of SOAEs and the maximum SOAE level exhibited a significant difference between right and left ears, but the difference between sexes was insignificant. 4Effects of Double Harvesting on Heavy Metal Uptake by Six Forage Species and the Potential for Phytoextraction in Field显示文摘The pollution of soils by heavy metals has dramatically increased in recent decades. Phytoextraction is a technology that extracts elements from polluted soils using hyperaccumulator plants. The selection of appropriate plant materials is an important factor for successful phytoextraction in field. A field study was conducted to compare the efficiency of six high-biomass forage species in their phytoextraction of heavy metals(Cd, Pb, and Zn) from contaminated soil under two harvesting strategies(double harvesting or single harvesting). Among the tested plants, amaranth accumulated the greatest amounts of Cd and Zn, whereas Rumex K^(-1) had the highest amount of Pb in the shoot under both double and single harvesting. Furthermore, double harvesting significantly increased the shoot biomass of amaranth, sweet sorghum and sudangrass and resulted in higher heavy metal contents in the shoot. Under double harvesting, the total amounts of extracted Cd, Pb and Zn(i.e., in the first plus second crops) for amaranth were 945, 2 650 and 12 400 g ha^(-1), respectively, the highest recorded among the six plant species. The present results indicate that amaranth has great potential for the phytoextraction of Cd from contaminated soils. 5Zirconium-containing UiO-66 as an efficient and reusable catalyst for transesterification of triglyceride with methanol显示文摘Zirconium-based MOFs of the UiO family have attracted considerable attention due to their high thermal,chemical and mechanical stability. With the aim of further exploring the applications of zirconium-based UiO-66 in acid-catalyzed reactions and elucidating the effects of the defects in UiO-66 materials on their catalytic performances, in this work, a series of zirconium-containing UiO-66 samples were synthesized by varying the synthesis temperatures and BDC/Zr(terephthalic acid/ZrCl_4) ratios in the synthesis system.The synthesized UiO-66 samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD), N_2 adsorption-desorption,scanning electron microscopy(SEM), thermogravimetrical analysis(TGA), temperature-programmed desorption of NH_3(NH_3-TPD). Their catalytic performances were investigated in transesterification of tributyrin and soybean oil with methanol. The results showed that UiO-66 samples with different amounts of defects could be successfully prepared by varying the synthesis temperatures and/or the BDC/Zr ratios used in the synthesis system. The catalytic activities of the UiO-66 materials greatly depended on their linker defects and enhanced with the increase of the defect amount. The UiO-66 was an efficient catalyst for transesterification of tributyrin and soybean oil with methanol under mild reaction conditions and its catalytic activity was comparable to other solid acid catalysts reported in the literatures. 6Effect of vanadium micro-alloying on the microstructure evolution and mechanical properties of 718H pre-hardened mold steel显示文摘The effects of different contents of vanadium(V)(0.1,0.2,and 0.3 wt%)on the microstructure evolution and mechanical properties of 718H steel were investigated.The precipitate was characterized by means of atom probe tomography(APT)and bright-field transmission electron microscopy(TEM).The increase in V content has great benefits for strength,but has an adverse effect on impact toughness.The strength increase can be attributed to the influence of V addition on dislocation density,misorientation gradient,and fine scale MC precipitates.Precipitation strengthening mainly contributes to the V-added steel by analyzing various strengthening mechanisms.However,fine scale MC precipitates can pin dislocation leading to a decrease in its mobility.A large number of immovable dislocations will increase the dislocation accumulation,internal stress and brittle cracking,resulting in a gradual decrease in impact toughness with the V addition.In addition,compared with V-free steel,the dissolved V content in austenite decreases the grain boundary energy and inhibits the diffusion of the C atoms,ultimately reducing the transformation range of pearlite(P).Hanghang Liu Paixian Fu Hongwei Liu Chen Sun Ningyu Du Dianzhonga Li 2019Journal of Materials Science & Technology2019,35,11:5
7Local inhibition of GABA affects precedence effect in the inferior colliculus显示文摘The precedence effect is a prerequisite for faithful sound localization in a complex auditory environment,and is a physiological phenomenon in which the auditory system selectively suppresses the directional information from echoes.Here we investigated how neurons in the inferior colliculus respond to the paired sounds that produce precedence-effect illusions,and whether their firing behavior can be modulated through inhibition with gamma-aminobutyric acid(GABA).We recorded extracellularly from 36 neurons in rat inferior colliculus under three conditions: no injection,injection with saline,and injection with gamma-aminobutyric acid.The paired sounds that produced precedence effects were two identical 4-ms noise bursts,which were delivered contralaterally or ipsilaterally to the recording site.The normalized neural responses were measured as a function of different inter-stimulus delays and half-maximal interstimulus delays were acquired.Neuronal responses to the lagging sounds were weak when the inter-stimulus delay was short,but increased gradually as the delay was lengthened.Saline injection produced no changes in neural responses,but after local gamma-aminobutyric acid application,responses to the lagging stimulus were suppressed.Application of gamma-aminobutyric acid affected the normalized response to lagging sounds,independently of whether they or the paired sounds were contralateral or ipsilateral to the recording site.These observations suggest that local inhibition by gamma-aminobutyric acid in the rat inferior colliculus shapes the neural responses to lagging sounds,and modulates the precedence effect.Yanjun Wang Ningyu Wang Dan Wang Jun Jia Jinfeng Liu Yan Xie Xiaohui Wen Xiaoting Li 2014Neural Regeneration Research2014,9,4:4

9Identification of anti-Gram-negative bacteria agents targeting the interaction between ribosomal proteins L12 and L10显示文摘Gram-negative bacteria have become the main pathogens and cause serious clinical problems with increased morbidity and mortality. However, the slow discovery of new antimicrobial agents is unable to meet the need for the treatment of bacterial infections caused by drug-resistant strains. The interaction of L12 and L10 is essential for ribosomal function and protein synthesis. In this study, a yeast two-hybrid system was established to successfully detect the interaction between L12 and L10 proteins from gram-negative bacteria Escherichia coli, which allows us to screen compounds that specifically disrupt this interaction. With this system, we identified two compounds IMB-84 and IMB-87 that block L12-L10 interaction and show bactericidal activity against E. coli. We used glutathione-S-transferase(GST) pull-down and surface plasmon resonance(SPR) assays to demonstrate that these compounds disrupt L12-L10 interaction in vitro and the target of compounds was further confirmed by the overexpression of target proteins. Moreover, protein synthesis and elongation factor G-dependent GTPase activities are inhibited by two compounds. 13Composite electron transport layer for efficient N-I-P type monolithic perovskite/silicon tandem solar cells with high open-circuit voltage显示文摘Perovskite/silicon tandem solar cells(PSTSCs) have exhibited huge technological potential for breaking the Shockley-Queisser limit of single-junction solar cells. The efficiency of P-I-N type PSTSCs has surpassed the single-junction limit, while the performance of N-I-P type PSTSCs is far below the theoretical value. Here, we developed a composite electron transport layer for N-I-P type monolithic PSTSCs with enhanced open-circuit voltage(VOC) and power conversion efficiency(PCE). Lithium chloride(Li Cl) was added into the tin oxide(SnO_(2)) precursor solution, which simultaneously passivated the defects and increased the electron injection driving force at the electron transfer layer(ETL)/perovskite interface.Eventually, we achieved monolithic PSTSCs with an efficiency of 25.42% and V_(OC) of 1.92 V, which is the highest PCE and VOCin N-I-P type perovskite/Si tandem devices. 15Tin dioxide buffer layer-assisted efficiency and stability of wide-bandgap inverted perovskite solar cells显示文摘Inverted perovskite solar cells(IPSCs) have attracted tremendous research interest in recent years due to their applications in perovskite/silicon tandem solar cells. However, further performance improvements and long-term stability issues are the main obstacles that deeply hinder the development of devices. Herein, we demonstrate a facile atomic layer deposition(ALD) processed tin dioxide(SnO2) as an additional buffer layer for efficient and stable wide-bandgap IPSCs. The additional buffer layer increases the shunt resistance and reduces the reverse current saturation density, resulting in the enhancement of efficiency from 19.23% to 21.13%. The target device with a bandgap of 1.63 eV obtains open-circuit voltage of 1.19 V, short circuit current density of 21.86 mA/cm^(2), and fill factor of 81.07%. More importantly, the compact and stable SnO_(2) film invests the IPSCs with superhydrophobicity, thus significantly enhancing the moisture resistance. Eventually, the target device can maintain 90% of its initial efficiency after 600 h storage in ambient conditions with relative humidity of 20%–40% without encapsulation. 17Suppressed recombination for monolithic inorganic perovskite/silicon tandem solar cells with an approximate efficiency of 23%显示文摘Potentially temperature-resistant inorganic perovskite/silicon tandem solar cells(TSCs)are promising devices for boosting efficiency past the single-junction silicon limit.However,undesirable non-radiative recombination generally leads to a significant voltage deficit.Here,we introduce an effective strategy using nickel iodide,an inorganic halide salt,to passivate iodine vacancies and suppress non-radiative recombination.NiI_(2)-treated CsPbI_(3-x)Br_(x) inor-ganic perovskite solar cells with a 1.80 eV bandgap exhibited an efficiency of 19.53%and a voltage of 1.36 V,corresponding to a voltage deficit of 0.44 V.Importantly,the treated device demonstrated excellent operational stability,maintaining 95.7%of its initial efficiency after maximum power point tracking for 300 h under continuous illumination in a N_(2) atmosphere.By combining this inorganic perovskite top cell with a narrower bandgap silicon bottom cell,we for the first time achieved monolithic inorganic perovskite/silicon TSCs,which exhibited an effi-ciency of 22.95%with an open-circuit voltage of 2.04 V.This work provides a promising strategy for using inorganic passivation materials to achieve efficient and stable solar cells.Sanlong Wang Pengyang Wang Bingbing Chen Renjie Li Ningyu Ren Yucheng Li Biao Shi Qian Huang Ying Zhao Michael Grätzel Xiaodan Zhang 2022eScience2022,2,3:1

19A Data Driven Security Correction Method for Power Systems with UPFC显示文摘The access of unified power flow controllers(UPFC)has changed the structure and operation mode of power grids all across the world,and it has brought severe challenges to the traditional real-time calculation of security correction based on traditionalmodels.Considering the limitation of computational efficiency regarding complex,physical models,a data-driven power system security correction method with UPFC is,in this paper,proposed.Based on the complex mapping relationship between the operation state data and the security correction strategy,a two-stage deep neural network(DNN)learning framework is proposed,which divides the offline training task of security correction into two stages:in the first stage,the stacked auto-encoder(SAE)classification model is established,and the node correction state(0/1)output based on the fault information;in the second stage,the DNN learningmodel is established,and the correction amount of each action node is obtained based on the action nodes output in the previous stage.In this paper,the UPFC demonstration project of NanjingWest Ring Network is taken as a case study to validate the proposed method.The results show that the proposed method can fully meet the real-time security correction time requirements of power grids,and avoid the inherent defects of the traditional model method without an iterative solution and can also provide reasonable security correction strategies for N-1 and N-2 faults.Qun Li Ningyu Zhang Jianhua Zhou Xinyao Zhu Peng Li 2023Energy Engineering2023,120,6:1
