| 4 | LncRNA-MALAT1 mediates cisplatin resistance via miR-101-3p/VEGF-C pathway in bladder cancer显示文摘The mitotically associated lncRNA(MANCR)participates in breast cancer cell proliferation,while its involvement in other cancers is still unknown.In this study,we therefore studied the role of MANCR in mantle cell lymphoma(MCL).We found that serum MANCR and Runt-related transcription factor 2(RUNX2)were upregulated in MCL patients when compared with those in healthy controls.A positive correlation between serum MANCR and RUNX2 was found in MCL patients but not in controls.Upregulation of serum MANCR distinguished MCL patients from controls.MANCR overexpression promoted RUNX2 expression in MCL cells,while RUNX2 overexpression failed to significantly change the expression levels of MANCR.MANCR overexpression promoted the proliferation of MCL cells,while MANCR silencing inhibited the proliferation of MCL cells.In addition,RUNX2 overexpression attenuated the inhibitory effects of MANCR silencing on cell proliferation.However,MANCR overexpression and silencing had no significant effects on cell migration and invasion.Further bioinformatics analysis showed that MANCR may sponge miR-218 to upregulate RUNX2.Therefore,we conclude that downregulation of MANCR may inhibit cancer cell proliferation in MCL possibly by interacting with RUNX2. | Peihua Liu Xiaozhou Li Yu Cui Jinbo Chen Chao Li Qiaqia Li Huihuang Li Xiangyang Zhang Xiongbing Zu | 2019 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2019,51,11: | 6 |

| 7 | Generating high spatiotemporal resolution LAI based on MODIS/GF-1 data and combined Kriging-Cressman interpolation显示文摘Generation of high spatial and temporal resolution LAI(leaf area index)products is challenging because higher spatial resolution remotely sensed data usually have coarse temporal resolutions and vice versa.In this study,a novel method that combining Kriging interpolation and Cressman interpolation was proposed to generate high spatial and temporal resolution LAI products by fusing Moderate Resolution Imaging SpectroRadiometer(MODIS)characterized by coarse spatial resolution and high temporal resolution and Gaofen-1(GF-1)with fine spatial resolution and coarse temporal resolution.This method was applied to the Huangpu district of Guangzhou,Guangdong,China.The results showed that compared to field observation,the predicted values of LAI had an acceptable accuracy of 73.12%.Using Moran’s I index and Kolmogorov-Smirnov tests,it was found that the MODIS data were spatially auto-correlated and characterized by normal distributions.Scaling down the 1 km×1 km spatial resolution MODIS products to a spatial resolution of 30 m×30 m using point-Kriging resulted in a precision of 79.38%compared to the results at the same spatial resolution derived from an 8 m×8 m spatial resolution GF-1 image by scaling up using block-Kriging.Moreover,the regression models that accounts for the relationship between NDVI(Normalized Difference Vegetation Index)and LAI based on MODIS data obtained the determination coefficients ranging from 0.833 to 0.870.Finally,the data fusion and interpolation of MODIS and GF-1 data using Cressman method generated high spatial and temporal resolution LAI maps,which showed reasonably spatial and temporal variability.The results imply that the proposed method is a powerful tool to create high spatial and temporal resolution LAI products. | Liu Zhenhua Huang Rugen Hu Yueming Fan Shudi Feng Peihua | 2016 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2016,9,5: | 3 |

| 11 | Increases in Anthropogenic Heat Release from Energy Consumption Lead to More Frequent Extreme Heat Events in Urban Cities显示文摘With economic development and rapid urbanization,increases in Gross Domestic Product and population in fastgrowing cities since the turn of the 21st Century have led to increases in energy consumption.Anthropogenic heat flux released to the near-surface atmosphere has led to changes in urban thermal environments and severe extreme temperature events.To investigate the effects of energy consumption on urban extreme temperature events,including extreme heat and cold events,a dynamic representation scheme of anthropogenic heat release(AHR)was implemented in the Advanced Research version of the Weather Research and Forecasting(WRF)model,and AHR data were developed based on energy consumption and population density in a case study of Beijing,China.Two simulations during 1999−2017 were then conducted using the developed WRF model with 3-km resolution with and without the AHR scheme.It was shown that the mean temperature increased with the increase in AHR,and more frequent extreme heat events were produced,with an annual increase of 0.02−0.19 days,as well as less frequent extreme cold events,with an annual decrease of 0.26−0.56 days,based on seven extreme temperature indices in the city center.AHR increased the sensible heat flux and led to surface energy budget changes,strengthening the dynamic processes in the atmospheric boundary layer that reduce AHR heating efficiency more in summer than in winter.In addition,it was concluded that suitable energy management might help to mitigate the impact of extreme temperature events in different seasons. | Bin LIU Zhenghui XIE Peihua QIN Shuang LIU Ruichao LI Longhuan WANG Yan WANG Binghao JIA Si CHEN Jinbo XIE Chunxiang SHI | 2021 | Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2021,38,3: | 2 |
| 12 | Future Precipitation Extremes in China under Climate Change and Their Physical Quantification Based on a Regional Climate Model and CMIP5 Model Simulations显示文摘The atmospheric water holding capacity will increase with temperature according to Clausius-Clapeyron scaling and affects precipitation.The rates of change in future precipitation extremes are quantified with changes in surface air temperature.Precipitation extremes in China are determined for the 21st century in six simulations using a regional climate model,RegCM4,and 17 global climate models that participated in CMIP5.First,we assess the performance of the CMIP5 models and RCM runs in their simulation of extreme precipitation for the current period(RF:1982-2001).The CMIP5 models and RCM results can capture the spatial variations of precipitation extremes,as well as those based on observations:OBS and XPP.Precipitation extremes over four subregions in China are predicted to increase in the mid-future(MF:2039-58)and far-future(FF:2079-98)relative to those for the RF period based on both the CMIP5 ensemble mean and RCM ensemble mean.The secular trends in the extremes of the CMIP5 models are predicted to increase from 2008 to 2058,and the RCM results show higher interannual variability relative to that of the CMIP5 models.Then,we quantify the increasing rates of change in precipitation extremes in the MF and FF periods in the subregions of China with the changes in surface air temperature.Finally,based on the water vapor equation,changes in precipitation extremes in China for the MF and FF periods are found to correlate positively with changes in the atmospheric vertical wind multiplied by changes in surface specific humidity(significant at the p<0.1 level). | Peihua QIN Zhenghui XIE Jing ZOU Shuang LIU Si CHEN | 2021 | Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2021,38,3: | 2 |

| 15 | Preparation of a halogen-free P/N/Si flame retardant monomer with reactive siloxy groups and its application in cotton fabrics显示文摘A novel halogen-free phosphorus–nitrogen–silicon flame retardant monomer with reactive siloxy groups,N-(diphenylphosphino)-1,1-diphenyl-N-(3-(triethoxysilyl)propyl) phosphinamine(DPTA) has been synthesized and was applied to the fire-resistant finishing of cotton fabrics. The molecular structure of DPTA has been well characterized by elemental analysis, FTIR,1H NMR, and ^(31)P NMR spectroscopies. The chemically-grafted cotton fabrics, which were treated with 25 wt% DPTA, were obtained and confirmed by attenuated total reflectance Fourier infrared spectroscopy(ATR-FTIR). The flame retardancy and thermal property of the treated samples were investigated by limited oxygen index(LOI), vertical flammability test(VFT), thermogravimetric analysis(TGA) and microscale combustion calorimeter(MCC). It is noted that in vertical flammability test, the treated samples extinguished immediately upon removing the ignition source, whereas the untreated one was completely burned out. Furthermore, TGA and MCC tests revealed that the treated samples produced a high char formation and a low heated release during combustion. The surface morphology of the untreated and treated samples and the char residues after LOI tests were observed by scanning electron microscopy(SEM).
