1The Assessment of Global Surface Temperature Change from 1850s:The C-LSAT2.0 Ensemble and the CMST-Interim Datasets显示文摘Based on C-LSAT2.0,using high-and low-frequency components reconstruction methods,combined with observation constraint masking,a reconstructed C-LSAT2.0 with 756 ensemble members from the 1850s to 2018 has been developed.These ensemble versions have been merged with the ERSSTv5 ensemble dataset,and an upgraded version of the CMSTInterim dataset with 5°×5°resolution has been developed.The CMST-Interim dataset has significantly improved the coverage rate of global surface temperature data.After reconstruction,the data coverage before 1950 increased from 78%−81%of the original CMST to 81%−89%.The total coverage after 1955 reached about 93%,including more than 98%in the Northern Hemisphere and 81%−89%in the Southern Hemisphere.Through the reconstruction ensemble experiments with different parameters,a good basis is provided for more systematic uncertainty assessment of C-LSAT2.0 and CMSTInterim.In comparison with the original CMST,the global mean surface temperatures are estimated to be cooler in the second half of 19th century and warmer during the 21st century,which shows that the global warming trend is further amplified.The global warming trends are updated from 0.085±0.004℃(10 yr)^(–1)and 0.128±0.006℃(10 yr)^(–1)to 0.089±0.004℃(10 yr)^(–1)and 0.137±0.007℃(10 yr)^(–1),respectively,since the start and the second half of 20th century.Wenbin SUN Qingxiang LI Boyin HUANG Jiayi CHENG Zhaoyang SONG Haiyan LI Wenjie DONG Panmao ZHAI Phil JONES 2021Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2021,38,5:8
2Reconstituted high-density lipoproteins: novel biomimetic nanocarriers for drug delivery显示文摘High-density lipoproteins(HDL) are naturally-occurring nanoparticles that are biocompatible,non-immunogenic and completely biodegradable. These endogenous particles can circulate for an extended period of time and transport lipids, proteins and micro RNA from donor cells to recipient cells.Based on their intrinsic targeting properties, HDL are regarded as promising drug delivery systems. In order to produce on a large scale and to avoid blood borne pollution, reconstituted high-density lipoproteins(rHDL) possessing the biological properties of HDL have been developed. This review summarizes the biological properties and biomedical applications of rHDL as drug delivery platforms. 3Geochronology and geochemistry of Permo-Triassic sandstones in eastern Jilin Province(NE China): Implications for final closure of the Paleo-Asian Ocean显示文摘In the eastern part of the Central Asian Orogenic Belt(CAOB) in northeastern(NE) China, scattered outcrops of molasse deposits mark the ending of an orogeny and are crucial for understanding the evolution of the Paleo-Asian Ocean(PAO). However, the timing of tectonic events and the relationships among these strata remain controversial. To better constrain these geologic events, a comprehensive study of the detrital zircon U-Pb geochronology and geochemistry of the sandstones of the Kaishantun(KST) Formation and Kedao(KD) Group in eastern Jilin Province, NE China, was conducted. The KST Formation is traditionally considered a molasse deposit. The sandstones display low CIA, PIA and high ICV values and low Th/U and Rb/Sr ratios, which suggest that the rocks were derived from an immature intermediate-felsic igneous source and experienced a simple sedimentary recycling history with relatively weak chemical weathering. LA-ICP-MS U-Pb dating of detrital zircons from two samples of the KST Formation yields ages of 748-252 Ma, suggesting that the KST Formation was deposited between 254.5 Ma and 252 Ma in Late Permian. The zircons were mainly derived from the continental northern part of the North China Craton(NCC). In contrast, the U-Pb dating of detrital zircons from five samples of the KD Group yields ages of 2611-230 Ma, suggesting that the KD samples were deposited in the Early to Middle Triassic(ca. 248-233 Ma). The detrital zircon ages for the KD samples can be divided into groups with peaks at 2.5 Ga, 1.8 Ga, 800-1000 Ma, 500 Ma and 440-360 Ma, which suggest that the samples were derived from bidirectional provenances in the Jiamusi-Khanka Block and the NCC. These new data,combined with previously published results, suggest that at least three orogenic events occurred in central-eastern Jilin Province during the Early Permian(270-262 Ma), Early Triassic(254-248 Ma) and Middle-Late Triassic(242-227 Ma). The final closure of the PAO occurred during 242-227 Ma in the Middle-Late Triassic along the Changchun-Yanji suture zone. 4Modified Blumgart anastomosis without pancreatic duct-to-jejunum mucosa anastomosis for pancreatoduodenectomy:a feasible and safe novel technique显示文摘Objective:This study proposed a modified Blumgart anastomosis(m-BA)that uses a firm ligation of the main pancreatic duct with a supporting tube to replace the pancreatic duct-to-jejunum mucosa anastomosis,with the aim of simplifying the complicated steps of the conventional BA(c-BA).Thus,we observe if a difference in the risk of postoperative pancreatic fistula(POPF)exists between the two methods.Methods:The m-BA anastomosis method has been used since 2010.From October 2011 to October 2015,147 patients who underwent pancreatoduodenectomy(PD)using BA in Tianjin Medical University Cancer Institute and Hospital were enrolled in this study.According to the type of pancreatojejunostomy(PJ),50 patients underwent m-BA and 97 received c-BA.The two patient cohorts were compared prospectively to some extent but not randomized,and the evaluated variables were operation time,the incidence rate of POPF,and other perioperative complications.Results:The operation time showed no significant difference(P>0.05)between the two groups,but the time of duct-to-mucosa anastomosis in the m-BA group was much shorter than that in the c-BA group(P<0.001).The incidence rate of clinically relevant POPF was 12.0%(6/50)in the modified group and 10.3%(10/97)in the conventional group(P>0.05),which means that the modified anastomosis method did not cause additional pancreatic leakage.The mean length of postoperative hospital stay of the m-BA group was 23 days,and that of the c-BA group was 22 days(P>0.05).Conclusions:Compared with the conventional BA,we suggest that the modified BA is a feasible,safe,and effective operation method for P J of PD with no sacrifice of surgical quality.In the multivariate analysis,we also found that body massXiaoqing Wang Yang Bai Mangmang Cui Qingxiang Zhang Wei Zhang Feng Fang Tianqiang Song 2018Cancer Biology & Medicine2018,15,1:6

6Monodisperse amino-modified nanosized zero-valent iron for selective and recyclable removal of TNT: Synthesis, characterization, and removal mechanism显示文摘Nitroaromatic explosives are major pollutants produced during wars that cause serious environmental and health problems. The removal of a typical nitroaromatic explosive, 2,4,6-trinitrotoluene(TNT), from aqueous solution, was conducted using a new recyclable magnetic nano-adsorbent(Fe@SiO_(2) –NH_(2)). This adsorbent was prepared by grafting amino groups onto Fe@SiO_(2) particles with a well-defined core-shell structure and demonstrated monodispersity in solution. The removal performance of the nano-adsorbent towards TNT was found to be 2.57 and 4.92 times higher than that towards two analogous explosives, 2,4-dinitrotoluene(2,4-DNT) and 2-nitrotoluene(2-NT), respectively, under neutral conditions. The difference in the removal performance among the three compounds was further compared in terms of the effects of different conditions(pH value, ionic strength, humic acid concentration, adsorbent modification degree and dosage, etc.) and the electrostatic potential distributions of the three compounds. The most significant elevation is owing to modification of amino on Fe@SiO_(2) which made a 20.7% increase in adsorption efficiency of TNT. The experimental data were well fit by the pseudo-second-order kinetic model and the Freundlich adsorption isotherm model, indicating multilayer adsorption on a heterogeneous surface. The experimental results and theoretical considerations show that the interactions between Fe@SiO_(2) –NH_(2) NPs and TNT correspond to dipole-dipole and hydrophobic interactions. These interactions should be considered in the design of an adsorbent. 7Synthesis of core-shell structured Au@Bi2S3 nanorod and its application as DNA immobilization matrix for electrochemical biosensor construction显示文摘The core-shell structured Au@Bi2S3 nanorods have been prepared through direct in-situ growth of Bi2S3 at the surface of pre-synthesized gold nanorods.The product was characterized by X-ray diffraction,transmission electron microscopy and energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy.Then the obtained Au@Bi2S3 nanorods were coated onto glassy carbon electrode to act as a scaffold for fabrication of electrochemical DNA biosensor on the basis of the coordination of-NH2 modified on 5’-end of probe DNA and Au@Bi2S3.Electrochemical characterization assays demonstrate that the Au@Bi2S3 nanorods behave as an excellent electronic transport channel to promote the electron transfer kinetics and increase the effective surface area by their nanosize effect.The hybridization experiments reveal that the Au@Bi2S3 matrix-based DNA biosensor is capable of recognizing complementary DNA over a wide concentration ranging from 10 fmol/L to 1 nmol/L.The limit of detection was estimated to be 2 fmol/L(S/N=3).The biosensor also presents remarkable selectivity to distinguish fully complementa ry sequences from basemismatched and non-complementary ones,showing great promising in practical application.Feng Gao Juan Song Bin Zhang Hidekazu Tanaka Fei Gao Weiwei Qiu Qingxiang Wang 2020Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,1:2
8Nanopolyphenol rejuvenates microglial surveillance of multiple misfolded proteins through metabolic reprogramming显示文摘Microglial surveillance plays an essential role in clearing misfolded proteins such as amyloid-beta,tau,andα-synuclein aggregates in neurodegenerative diseases.However,due to the complex structure and ambiguous pathogenic species of the misfolded proteins,a universal approach to remove the misfolded proteins remains unavailable.Here,we found that a polyphenol,α-mangostin,reprogrammed metabolism in the disease-associated microglia through shifting glycolysis to oxidative phosphorylation,which holistically rejuvenated microglial surveillance capacity to enhance microglial phagocytosis and autophagy-mediated degradation of multiple misfolded proteins.Nanoformulation ofα-mangostin efficiently deliveredα-mangostin to microglia,relieved the reactive status and rejuvenated the misfolded-proteins clearance capacity of microglia,which thus impressively relieved the neuropathological changes in both Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease model mice.These findings provide direct evidences for the concept of rejuvenating microglial surveillance of multiple misfolded proteins through metabolic reprogramming,and demonstrate nanoformulatedα-mangostin as a potential and universal therapy against neurodegenerative diseases.Dayuan Wang Xiao Gu Xinyi Ma Jun Chen Qizhi Zhang Zhihua Yu Juan Li Meng Hu Xiaofang Tan Yuyun Tang Jianrong Xu Minjun Xu Qingxiang Song Huahua Song Gan Jiang Zaiming Tang Xiaoling Gao Hongzhuan Chen 2023Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2023,13,2:1

13Bioorthogonal microglia-inspired mesenchymal stem cell bioengineering system creates livable niches for enhancing ischemic stroke recovery via the hormesis显示文摘Mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)experience substantial viability issues in the stroke infarct region,limiting their therapeutic efficacy and clinical translation.High levels of deadly reactive oxygen radicals(ROS)and proinflammatory cytokines(PC)in the infarct milieu kill transplanted MSCs,whereas low levels of beneficial ROS and PC stimulate and improve engrafted MSCs’viability.Based on the intrinsic hormesis effects in cellular biology,we built a microglia-inspired MSC bioengineering system to transform detrimental high-level ROS and PC into vitality enhancers for strengthening MSC therapy.This system is achieved by bioorthogonally arming metabolic glycoengineered MSCs with microglial membrane-coated nanoparticles and an antioxidative extracellular protective layer.In this system,extracellular ROSscavenging and PC-absorbing layers effectively buffer the deleterious effects and establish a microlivable niche at the level of a single MSC for transplantation.Meanwhile,the infarct’s inanimate milieu is transformed at the tissue level into a new living niche to facilitate healing.The engineered MSCs achieved viability five times higher than natural MSCs at seven days after transplantation and exhibited a superior therapeutic effect for stroke recovery up to 28 days.This vitality-augmented system demonstrates the potential to accelerate the clinical translation of MSC treatment and boost stroke recovery.Jianpei Xu Yinzhe Sun Yang You Yuwen Zhang Dan Huang Songlei Zhou Yipu Liu Shiqiang Tong Fenfen Ma Qingxiang Song Chengxiang Dai Suke Li Jigang Lei Zhihua Wang Xiaoling Gao Jun Chen 2024Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2024,14,3:0
14Clinical safety and efficacy of allogenic human adipose mesenchymal stromal cells-derived exosomes in patients with mild to moderate Alzheimer’s disease:a phaseⅠ/Ⅱclinical trial显示文摘Background There have been no effective treatments for slowing or reversing Alzheimer’s disease(AD)until now.Growing preclinical evidence,including this study,suggests that mesenchymal stem cells-secreted exosomes(MSCs-Exos)have the potential to cure AD.Aims The first three-arm,drug-intervention,phase I/II clinical trial was conducted to explore the safety and efficacy of allogenic human adipose MSCs-Exos(ahaMSCs-Exos)in patients with mild to moderate AD.Methods The eligible subjects were assigned to one of three dosage groups,intranasally administrated with ahaMSCs-Exos two times per week for 12 weeks,and underwent follow-up visits at weeks 16,24,36 and 48.Results No adverse events were reported.In the medium-dose arm,Alzheimer’s Disease Assessment Scale–Cognitive section(ADAS-cog)scores decreased by 2.33(1.19)and the basic version of Montreal Cognitive Assessment scores increased by 2.38(0.58)at week 12 compared with baseline levels,indicating improved cognitive function.Moreover,the ADAS-cog scores in the medium-dose arm decreased continuously by 3.98 points until week 36.There were no significant differences in altered amyloid or tau deposition among the three arms,but hippocampal volume shrank less in the medium-dose arm to some extent.Conclusions Intranasal administration of ahaMSCs-Exos was safe and well tolerated,and a dose of at least 4×10^(8)particles could be selected for further clinical trials.Xinyi Xie Qingxiang Song Chengxiang Dai Shishuang Cui Ran Tang Suke Li Jing Chang Ping Li Jintao Wang Jianping Li Chao Gao Hongzhuan Chen Shengdi Chen Rujing Ren Xiaoling Gao Gang Wang 2023General Psychiatry2023,36,5:0
15RB-DEM Modeling and Simulation of Non-Persisting Rough Open Joints Based on the IFS-Enhanced Method显示文摘When the geological environment of rock masses is disturbed,numerous non-persisting open joints can appear within it.It is crucial to investigate the effect of open joints on the mechanical properties of rock mass.However,it has been challenging to generate realistic open joints in traditional experimental tests and numerical simulations.This paper presents a novel solution to solve the problem.By utilizing the stochastic distribution of joints and an enhanced-fractal interpolation system(IFS)method,rough curves with any orientation can be generated.The Douglas-Peucker algorithm is then applied to simplify these curves by removing unnecessary points while preserving their fundamental shape.Subsequently,open joints are created by connecting points that move to both sides of rough curves based on the aperture distribution.Mesh modeling is performed to construct the final mesh model.Finally,the RB-DEM method is applied to transform the mesh model into a discrete element model containing geometric information about these open joints.Furthermore,this study explores the impacts of rough open joint orientation,aperture,and number on rock fracture mechanics.This method provides a realistic and effective approach for modeling and simulating these non-persisting open joints.Hangtian Song Xudong Chen Chun Zhu Qian Yin Wei Wang Qingxiang Meng 2024Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2024,139,4:0
