| 2 | Deformation mechanism and stability control of roadway along a fault subjected to mining显示文摘It is difficult to maintain the roadway around a fault because of the fractured surroundings,complex stress environment,and large and intense deformation in the mining process.Based on a tailgate of panel S2205 in Tunliu colliery,in Shanxi province,China,we investigated the evolution of stress and displacement of rocks surrounding the roadway during the drivage and mining period using theoretical analysis,numerical simulation and field trial methods.We analyzed the deformation and failure mechanisms of the tailgate near a fault.The deformation of surrounding rock caused by unloading in the drivage period is large and asymmetric,the roadway convergence increases with activation of the fault and secondary fracture develops in the mining period.Therefore,we proposed a specific control technique of the roadway along a fault as follows:(1) High-strength yielding bolt not only supports the shallow rock to loadbearing structures,but also releases primary deformation energy by use of a pressure release device in order to achieve high resistance to the pressure retained;(2) Grouting of near-fault ribside after initial stabilization of the rock deformation is used to reinforce the broken rock,and to improve the integral load-bearing capacity of the roadway.The research results were successfully applied to a field trial. | Yan Shuai Bai Jianbiao Li Wenfeng Chen Jigang Li Lei | 2012 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2012,22,4: | 11 |

| 4 | Polarization of plane wave propagating inside elastic hexagonal system solids显示文摘Based on the reported physical parameters for hexagonal system solids,we have calculated the effects of anisotropy on polarization of plane P-wave propagation.Herein we report the results of calculations and the newly observed physical phenomena.It is found that,for a given propagation,if the polarization is parallel to the wave vector,so also to the Poynting vector.In such a case,the phase velocity is identical to the energy velocity;the quasi P-wave degenerates to a pure P-wave along the propagation.It is also noted that if the polarization is parallel to the Poynting vector but not to the wave vector,the propagating wave cannot be a pure P-wave.Furthermore,the polarization in a quasi P-wave may deviate from the wave vector for more than 45°,but the deviation from the Poynting vector is always less than 45°.The energy velocity of a quasi SV-wave can be larger than that of the quasi P-wave in some propagation directions,even though the phase velocity of a quasi SV-wave may never be larger than either the phase velocity or energy velocity of the quasi P-wave.Finally,in case of parameters ε=0 and δ*≠0,the polarization of a quasi P-wave has an observed symmetry at a 45°phase angle.The anisotropy of a hexagonal system solid determines if a pure P-wave can be created and what the propagation direction is for a plane wave propagating inside such a hexagonal system solid. | FA Lin ZHAO MeiShan LIU YongChang WANG Lei WANG YanQiang SUN JiGang | 2014 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2014,57,2: | 2 |

| 16 | Human adipose, placenta, and umbilical cord-derived mesenchymal stem cells ameliorate imiquimod-induced psoriatic mice via reducing T cells infiltration显示文摘Psoriasis is an autoimmune-related chronic inflammatory disease with an approximate prevalence of 2–3%around the world,involving increased keratinocyte proliferation.Indeed,Th17 cells and IL-17 play critical roles in the pathogenesis of psoriasis.The monoclonal antibodies against cytokines have been shown to have effectively immunosuppressive effects on human psoriasis.However,there are still some patients that have no response to these treatments.Some patients have even serious side-effects which may affect their life.Mesenchymal stem cells have the ability of immunosuppressive and anti-inflammatory effects,which may be an alternative therapy with more safety and efficacy for human psoriasis.Moreover,the underlying mechanisms by which the MSCs prevent or ameliorate psoriasis are still poorly understood.Here,we first isolated and characterized human adipose,placenta,and umbilical cord-derived mesenchymal stem cells(haMSCs,hpMSCs,and huMSCs).After that,the animal model of imiquimod(IMQ)-induced psoriasis in C57BL/6 mice was confirmed.We investigated the impact of haMSCs,hpMSCs,and huMSCs on this model by H&E staining,immunohistochemistry staining,and quantitative real-time PCR.Data analysis showed that mice subcutaneously injected with these MSCs had a significantly decreased epidermal thickness,which was caused by obviously reduced hyper-proliferation of keratinocytes.Furthermore,our findings revealed that the infiltration of T cells to psoriatic lesions in IMQ-induced psoriasis mice was markedly downregulated by intradermal administration of haMSCs,hpMSCs,and huMSCs,respectively.Consequently,the production of IL-17 from Th17 cells was reduced,which inhibits the proliferation of keratinocytes in lesioned skin of IMQ-induced psoriasis mice.These data suggest that haMSCs,hpMSCs,and huMSCs can inhibit the effects of proinflammatory Th17 cells on the development of psoriasis,which may be potential therapeutic candidates for skin inflammatory disease or other autoimmune diseases. | JIGANG LEI ZHENYAO XU SUKE LI MENG LI ZHIKAI WANG PING LI JING WANG YINGLU CHEN X IAOLE SONG CHENGJIE REN MEIPING SHEN CHENGXIANG DAI | 2021 | BIOCELL2021,45,3: | 0 |

| 18 | Epidemiological study of a von Hippel-Lindau family in northwest China显示文摘von Hippel-Lindau(VHL)disease is a rare,inherited neoplastic disease characterized by hemangioblastomas(HBL)of the central nervous system(CNS),retinal angiomas,renal cell carcinomas(RCC),pancreatic endocrine tumors(PETs),pheochromocytomas,paragangliomas,and visceral cysts.We encountered a large VHL family in northwest China and conducted a systematic screening of the family members based on their epidemiological and clinical characteristics.A self-designed questionnaire was used to collect the general sociodemographic and health information of the family members.For the preliminary family screening,physical examination and abdomen B ultrasonography were performed.The suspected patients were subjected to cranial computerized tomography and fundus examination.The clinical data of the patients with confirmed VHL disease were collected from hospital records.A total of 63 lineal descendants in six generations were observed in the family(generations O,A,B,C,D,E),including 9 dead suspected cases(6 males,3 females)and 10 living cases(2 males,8 females).Among the 10 living cases,4,2,1,3,4,8,and 2 manifested HBLs of the CNS,PETs,RCC,pancreatic cysts,renal cysts,pheochromocytomas(4 hemi and 4 bilateral),and paragangliomas,respectively.Data showed that the morbidity of VHL disease in generation C was lower than that in generation B,but the age of onset was younger.This study is the first to report VHL disease in northwest China and VHL-associated PET cases in Chinese.Therefore,follow-up checkups of the family should be focused on younger generations.Proper family screening protocols should be followed for the treatment of patients with VHL disease. | Jingyao Zhang Dapeng Wu Hong Ai Jigang Bai Shunbin Dong Qinling Yang Kai Qu Lei Zhou Xinsen Xu Chang Liu | 2013 | Frontiers of Medicine2013,7,3: | 0 |
