| 1 | Trends in particulate matter and its chemical compositions in China from 2013–2017显示文摘Accurate determination of the atmospheric particulate matter mass concentration and chemical composition is helpful in exploring the causes and sources of atmospheric enthalpy pollution and in evaluating the rationality of environmental air quality control strategies.Based on the sampling and chemical composition data of PM2.5 in different key regions of China in the CARE-China observation network,this research analyzes the environmental air quality data released by the China National Environmental Monitoring Centre during the studied period to determine the changes in the particulate matter mass concentration in key regions and the evolution of the corresponding chemical compositions during the implementation of the Action Plan for Prevention and Control of Air Pollution from 2013-2017.The results show the following.(1)The particulate matter mass concentration in China showed a significant downward trend;however,the PM2.5 annual mass concentration in 64%of cities exceeds the New Chinese Ambient Air Quality Standard(CAAQS)GradeⅡ(GB3095-2012).The region to the east of the Taihang Mountains,the Fenhe and Weihe River Plain and the Urumqi-Changji regions in Xinjiang,all have PM2.5 concentration loading that is still high,and heavy haze pollution occurred frequently in the autumn and winter.(2)During the heavy pollution in the autumn and winter,the concentrations of sulfate and organic components decreased significantly.The mean SO42-concentration in PM2.5 decreased by 76%,12%,81%and 38%in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei(BTH),the Pearl River Delta(PRD),the Sichuan-Chongqing region(SC)and the Fenhe and Weihe River Plain,respectively.The mean organic matter(OM)concentration decreased by 70%,44%,48%and 31%,respectively,and the mean concentration of NH4+decreased by 68%,1.6%,38%and 25%,respectively.The mean elemental carbon(EC)concentration decreased by 84%and 20%in BTH and SC,respectively,and it increased by 61%and 11%in the PRD and Fenhe and Weihe River Plain,respectively.The mean concentration of mineral and unresolved chemical components(MI)dropped by 70%,24%and 13%in BTH,the PRD and the Fenhe and Weihe River Plain,respectively.The change in the PM2.5 chemical composition is consistent with the decrease of the PM2.5mass concentration.(3)In 2015,the mean OM concentration contributions to fine particles and coarse particles were 13-46%and 46-57%,respectively,and the mean MI concentration contributions to fine particles and coarse and particles were 31-60%and 39-73%,respectively;these values are lower than the 2013 values from the key regions,which is the most important factor behind the decrease of the particulate matter mass concentration.From 2013 to 2015,among the chemical components of different particle size fractions,the peak value of the coarse particle size fraction decreased significantly,and the fine particle size fractions of SO42-,NO3-,and NH4+decreased with the decrease of the particulate matter mass concentration in different particle size fractions.The fine-particle size peaks of SO42-,NO3-and NH4+shifted from 0.65-1.1μm to the finer size range of0.43-0.65μm during the same time frame. | Yuesi WANG Wenjie LI Wenkang GAO Zirui LIU Shili TIAN Rongrong SHEN Dongsheng JI Shuai WANG Lili WANG Guiqian TANG Tao SONG Mengtian CHENG Gehui WANG Zhengyu GONG Jiming HAO Yuanhang ZHANG | 2019 | Science China Earth Sciences2019,62,12: | 23 |

| 3 | Multifunctional dextran micelles as drug delivery carriers and magnetic resonance imaging probes显示文摘Multifunctional nanoparticles combining diagnostic and therapeutic agents into a single platform make cancer theranostics possible and have attracted wide interests in the field. In this study, a multifunctional nanocomposite based on dextran and superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles(SPIO) was prepared for drug delivery and magnetic resonance imaging(MRI). Amphiphilic dextran was synthesized by grafting stearyl acid onto the carbohydrate backbone, and micelle was formed by the resulted amphiphilic dextran with low critical micelle concentration at 1.8 mg L-1. Doxorubicin(DOX) and a cluster of the manganese-doped iron oxide nanoparticles(Mn-SPIO)nanocrystals were then coencapsulated successfully inside the core of dextran micelles, resulting in nanocomposites with diameter at about 100 nm. Cell culture experiments demonstrated the potential of these Mn-SPIO/DOX nanocomposites as an effective multifunctional nanoplatform for the delivery of anticancer drug DOX with a loading content(DLC) of 16 %. Confocal laser scanning microscopyreveals that the Mn-SPIO/DOX had excellent internalization ability against MCF-7/Adr cells after 2-h labeling compared with free DOXáHCl. Under a 3.0-T MRI scanner, Mn-SPIO/DOX nanocomposite-labeled cells in gelatin phantom show much darker images than the control. Their transverse relaxation(T2) rate is also significantly higher than that of the control cells(33.9 versus 2.3 s-1). | 5 | Current status,trends,and predictions in the burden of gallbladder and biliary tract cancer in China from 1990 to 2019显示文摘Background:Gallbladder and biliary tract cancer(GBTC)has greatly damaged the health of patients and is accompanied by a dismal prognosis.The worldwide distribution of GBTC shows extensive variance and the updated data in China is lacking.This study was to determine the current status,trends,and predictions in the burden of GBTC over the past 30 years in China.Methods:This was a descriptive,epidemiological,secondary analysis of the Global Burden of Disease,Injuries,and Risk Factor Study 2019 data.Data including incidence,prevalence,mortality,and disability-adjusted life years(DALYs)of GBTC in China by year,age,and sex were assessed.Joinpoint regression analysis was conducted to evaluate trends of disease burden due to GBTC from 1990 to 2019.Nordpred age-period-cohort analysis was applied for the projection of mortality and incidence due to GBTC from 2019 to 2044.Results:Nationally,there were 38,634(95%uncertainty interval[UI]:27,350-46,512)new cases and 47,278(95%UI:32,889-57,229)patients due to GBTC,causing 34,462(95%UI:25,220-41,231)deaths,and 763,584(95%UI:566,755-920,493)DALYs in 2019.Both cases and rates of burden owing to GBTC were heavier among males and at old age.From 1990 to 2019,the age-standardized rates of incidence,prevalence,mortality,and DALYs of GBTC generally increased from 1990 to 2019,with average annual percentage change at 0.8%(95%confidential interval[CI]:0.6-1.0%),1.3%(95%CI:1.1-1.5%),0.4%(95%CI:0.2-0.6%),and 0.2%(95%CI:0.1-0.4%),respectively.Even though the age-standardized incidence rate and agestandardized mortality rate in both sexes were predicted to decline gradually from 2019 to 2044,the number of new cases and deaths were expected to grow steadily.Conclusions:GBTC is becoming a major health burden in China,particularly among males and older individuals.Given the aging population and increasing burden,effective strategies and measurements are urged to prevent or reduce the number of new cases and deaths of GBTC. | Shimin Chen Ke Han Yang Song Shaohua Liu Xuehang Li Shengshu Wang Haowei Li Rongrong Li Jianhua Wang Yao He Miao Liu | 2022 | Chinese Medical Journal2022,,14: | 2 |

| 9 | The aptamers generated from HepG2 cells显示文摘Liver cancer, as the second cause of cancer death all around the world, resulted in a series of chronic liver diseases. More than 80%of the patients cannot receive effective treatment because of their advanced disease or poor liver function. It is time to improve early clinical diagnosis and find optimal therapeutic treatments. As the tumor cells behave differently from the cell-surface molecules, it is necessary to find a highly specific probe. The aptamers, known as 'chemical antibodies', can bind to their target molecules with high affinity and high specificity. The apatmers were obtained by Cell-SELEX, which was aimed at finding the aptamers against whole living cells. In the article, after 19 selections, the ssDNA pool was cloned and sequenced. After that, six aptamers were obtained, named apt_A to apt_F. By incubating the aptamers with different cells, except apt_E, the other aptamers showed high specificity. As for apt_E, which showed high affinity to several cancer cells, was a potential probe for the common protein presented by several different cancer cells. The equilibrium dissociation constants(Kd) were evaluated by measuring the flow cytometry signal that characterized the binding ability of aptamers to the target cells at a series of concentrations ranging from 46.3(4.5) nM to 199.4(44.2) nM, which exposed the high binding affinities of these aptamers. | 10 | Xylo-Oligosaccharide Preparation through Enzyme Hydrolysis of Hemicelluloses Isolated from Press Lye显示文摘The emerging food additive, xylo-oligosaccharide(XOSs), was prepared through enzymatic hydrolysis of hemicelluloses isolated from press lye. Two of the three experimental enzyme preparations presented favourable effects, while the other one consisting of the nominal enzyme preparations with high enzyme activity was found to have poor catalytic effects. The conversion of xylan exceeded 40% and the selectivity for XOSs reached 90% when the temperature, hemicellulose concentration, dosage of enzymes, and hydrolysis time were 40?C, 100 g/L, 1 ku/g, and 4 h, respectively.
