1A novel HfNbTaTiV high-entropy alloy of superior mechanical properties designed on the principle of maximum lattice distortion显示文摘This paper reports a synergistic design of high-performance BCC high-entropy alloy based on the combined consideration of the principles of intrinsic ductility of elements,maximum atomic size difference for solid solution strengthening and the valence electron concentration criterion for ductility.The single-phase BCC HfNbTaTiV alloy thus designed exhibited a high compressive yield strength of 1350 MPa and a high compressive ductility of>45%at the room temperature.This represents a 50%increase in yield strength relative to a HfNbTaTiZr alloy.This is attributed to the maximized solid solution strengthening effect caused by lattice distortion,which is estimated to be 1094 MPa.The alloy was also able to retain 53%of its yield strength and 77%of its ductility at 700℃.These properties are superior to those of most refractory BCC high-entropy alloys reported in the literature.Zibing An Shengcheng Mao Yinong Liu Li Wang Hao Zhou Bin Gan Ze Zhang Xiaodong Han 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,20:9
2Effect of electroacupuncture on chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy in patients with malignant tumor:a single-blinded,randomized controlled trial显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the effect of electroacupuncture on chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy(CIPN), quality of life and immune status of patients with malignant tumors.METHODS:From Jan, 2013 to May, 2014, 37 patients with malignant tumors were included in this prospective single-blinded study, and randomized to receive either electroacupuncture or acupuncture treatment on basis of chemotherapy.The chemotherapy was continued for 2 courses as previous before the treatments, with 21 days as a course of treatment.Patients received acupuncture and electroacupuncture once per day starting at the day before chemotherapy for consecutive 7 days followed by 14 days off, with 21 days as a course of treatment, and continued for two courses of treatment.Then CIPN, traditional Chinese clinical symptoms,quality of life and immune status were all evaluated for each patient prior treatment and after two courses of treatment.RESULTS:The gender, age, cancer species as well as incidence(83.3% vs 84.2%) and grades of CIPN before treatments were all similar in patients receiving acupuncture or electroacupuncture(all P >0.05).After treatments, most patients with peripheral neuropathy were cured by two courses of electroacupuncture(84.2% vs 21.1%), whereas the other group of patients had similar incidences of peripheral neuropathy compared with prior-acupuncture(83.3% vs 72.2%).Besides, patients receiving electroacupuncture had lower incidence of peripheral neuropathy than those receiving acupuncture treatment(χ~2= 9.745, P = 0.002).The grades of peripheral neuropathy were significantly different in the two groups post-treatment(χ~2= 13.983, P =0.007).The total effective rates for traditional Chinese clinical symptoms were 16.7% and 84.2% in acupuncture and electroacupuncture groups, respectively(Z =-4.239, P < 0.001).The electroacupuncture treatment provided a more satisfactory life for patients compared with acupuncture(Z =-4.76, P < 0.001).Both electroacupuncture and acupuncture had no effects on immune function.CONCLUSION:Electroacupuncture could alleviate CIPN, and improve traditional Chinese clinical symptoms and quality of life, but did not affect immune function.Zhang Shiqiang Wu Tingting Zhang Haisheng Yang Yun Jiang Haiyan Cao Shengcheng Xie Fang Xia Xiaoting Lü Junqiang Zhong Yi 2017Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2017,37,2:7
3Synthesis of layered double hydroxides/graphene oxide nanocomposite as a novel high-temperature CO_2 adsorbent显示文摘In this contribution, a novel high-temperature CO2 adsorbent consisting of Mg-Al layered double hydroxide(LDH) and graphene oxide(GO)nanosheets was prepared and evaluated. The nanocomposite-type adsorbent was synthesized based on the electrostatically driven self-assembly between positively charged Mg-Al LDH single sheet and negatively charged GO monolayer. The characteristics of this novel adsorbent were investigated using XRD, FE-SEM, HRTEM, FT-IR, BET and TGA. The results showed that both the CO2 adsorption capacity and the multicycle stability of LDH were increased with the addition of GO owing to the enhanced particle dispersion and stabilization. In particular, the absolute CO2 capture capacity of LDH was increased by more than twice by adding 6.54 wt% GO as support. GO appeared to be especially effective for supporting LDH sheets. Moreover, the CO2 capture capacity of the adsorbent could be further increased by doping with 15 wt%K2CO3. 4Live cell imaging and proteomic profiling of endogenous NEAT1 lncRNA by CRISPR/ Cas9-mediated knock-in显示文摘In mammalian cells,long noncoding RNAs(lncRNAs)form complexes with proteins to execute various biological functions such as gene transcription,RNA processing and other signaling activities.However,methods to track endogenous lncRNA dynamics in live cells and screen for lncRNA interacting proteins are limited.Here,we report the development of CERTIS(CRISPR-mediated Endogenous lncRNA Tracking and Immunoprecipitation System)to visualize and isolate endogenous lncRNA,by precisely inserting a 24-repeat MS2 tag into the distal end of lncRNA locus through the CRISPR7Cas9 technology.In this study,we show that CERTIS effectively labeled the paraspeckle lncRNA NEAT1 without disturbing its physiological properties and could monitor the endogenous expression variation of NEAT1.In addition,CERTIS displayed superior performance on both short-and long-term tracking of NEAT1 dynamics in live cells.We found that NEAT1 and paraspeckles were sensitive to topoisomerase I specific inhibitors.Moreover,RNA Immunoprecipitation(RIP)of the MS2-tagged NEAT1 lncRNA successfully revealed several new protein components of paraspeckle.Our results support CERTIS as a tool suitable to track both spatial and temporal lncRNA regulation in live cells as well as study the lncRNA-protein interactomes.Bohong Chen Shengcheng Deng Tianyu Ge Miaoman Ye Jianping Yu Song Lin Wenbin Ma Zhou Songyang 2020Protein & Cell2020,11,9:4
5Hierarchical grain size and nanotwin gradient microstructure for improved mechanical properties of a non-equiatomic CoCrFeMnNi high-entropy alloy显示文摘This study explored a multi-mechanism approach to improving the mechanical properties of a Co CrFe Mn Ni high-entropy alloy through non-equiatomic alloy design and processing.The alloy design ensures a single-phase face-centered cubic structure while lowering the stacking fault energy to encourage the formation of deformation twins and stacking faults by altering the equiatomic composition of the alloy.The processing strategy applied helped create a hierarchical grain size gradient microstructure with a high nanotwins population.This was achieved by means of rotationally accelerated shot peening(RASP).The non-equiatomic Co Cr Fe Mn Ni high-entropy alloy achieved a yield strength of 750 MPa,a tensile strength of 1050 MPa,and tensile uniform elongation of 27.5%.The toughness of the alloy was 2.53×10^(10)k J/m^(3),which is about 2 times that of the same alloy without the RASP treatment.The strength increase is attributed to the effects of grain boundary strengthening,dislocation strengthening,twin strengthening,and hetero-deformation strengthening associated with the heterogeneous microstructure of the alloy.The concurrent occurrence of the multiple deformation mechanisms,i.e.,dislocation deformation,twining deformation and microband deformation,contributes to achieving a suitable strain hardening of the alloy that helps to prevent early necking and to assure steady plastic deformation for high toughness.Zibing An Shengcheng Mao Yinong Liu Hao Zhou Yadi Zhai Zhiyong Tian Cuixiu Liu Ze Zhang Xiaodong Han 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,33:3
6A large intrascrotal calculus显示文摘A large stone with 8.7 cm × 7.2 cm × 6.5 cm in size and 420 gin weight dropped down spontaneously from a 93-year-old man's scrotum, who had suffered from left intrascrotal mass and pain for more than 20 years. The component of the stone was magnesium ammonium phosphate. To the best of our knowledge, it is the largest intrascrotal calculus reported in the world. 9Actin and myosin during pollen germination显示文摘Actin and myosin from pollen tubes of Lilium davidii were studied by using immunoblotting, Dot_Blot and myosin Ca 2+_ATPase analysis. On immunoblotting of the total soluble pollen tube proteins, anti_α_actin antibody labelled a polypeptide approximately 43 ku, which is considered to be the actin of lily. The mRNA encoding actin in ungerminated pollen and germinated pollen were both undetectable in our experiments. A myosin exhibited Ca 2+_ATPase activity, with a native molecular weight of 460 ku has been identified by using immunoblotting. A polypeptide of about 205 ku and a polypeptide of about 20 ku were the heavy chain and a set of light chain of the myosin, which can crossreact with anti_skeletal muscle myosin heavy chain monoclonal antibody and anti_skeletal muscle myosin light chain (20 ku) monoclonal antibody, respectively. 103D Modeling of sediment movement by ships-generated wakes in confined shipping channel显示文摘Ship-generated waves and return currents are capable of re-suspending significant quantities of bottom and bank sediments.However,most of the previous studies done on the subject do not show how and where sediment is re-suspended by the wakes and the directions of net transport.In this paper,a 3D numerical model based on hydro-sedimentary coupling is presented to search the relationship between the sediment movement,and the pattern of ship-generated waves around and far away from the vessel and the return currents around the ships.The hydrodynamic model is based on 3D Navier-Stokes equations including the standard k-ε model for turbulence processes,and the sediment transport model is based on a 3D equation for the re-suspended sediment transport.The computation results show that the areas of sediment concentration and transport(whether by resuspension or by the bedload) depend mainly on the position,the speed of the ship in the waterways,the kinematics of ship-generated waves and on the return flows.Thus,a map of sediment distribution and the modes of sediment transport generated by the passage of the ship are presented.Shengcheng JI Abdellatif OUAHSINE Hassan SMAOUI Philippe SERGENT 2014International Journal of Sediment Research2014,29,1:1

13Whole-genome Duplication Reshaped Adaptive Evolution in A Relict Plant Species,Cyclocarya paliurus显示文摘Cyclocarya paliurus is a relict plant species that survived the last glacial period and shows a population expansion recently.Its leaves have been traditionally used to treat obesity and diabetes with the well-known active ingredient cyclocaric acid B.Here,we presented three C.paliurus genomes from two diploids with different flower morphs and one haplotype-resolved tetraploid assembly.Comparative genomic analysis revealed two rounds of recent whole-genome duplication events and identified 691 genes with dosage effects that likely contribute to adaptive evolution through enhanced photosynthesis and increased accumulation of triterpenoids.Resequencing analysis of 45 C.paliurus individuals uncovered two bottlenecks,consistent with the known events of environmental changes,and many selectively swept genes involved in critical biological functions,including plant defense and secondary metabolite biosynthesis.We also proposed the biosynthesis pathway of cyclocaric acid B based on multi-omics data and identified key genes,in particular gibberellinrelated genes,associated with the heterodichogamy in C.paliurus species.Our study sheds light on evolutionary history of C.paliurus and provides genomic resources to study the medicinal herbs.Yinquan Qu Xulan Shang Ziyan Zeng Yanhao Yu Guoliang Bian Wenling Wang Li Liu Li Tian Shengcheng Zhang Qian Wang Dejin Xie Xuequn Chen Zhenyang Liao Yibin Wang Jian Qin Wanxia Yang Caowen Sun Xiangxiang Fu Xingtan Zhang Shengzuo Fang 2023Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2023,21,3:1
