1Multi-energy Storage System Model Based on Electricity Heat and Hydrogen Coordinated Optimization for Power Grid Flexibility显示文摘Based on decreasing the flexibility of the power grid through the integration of large-scale renewable energy,a multi-energy storage system architectural model and its coor-dination operational strategy with the same flexibility as in the pumped storage power station and battery energy storage system(BESS)are studied.According to the new energy fluctuation characteristics and the different peak valley parameters in the power grid,this paper proposes a electricity heat hydrogen multi-energy storage system(EHH-MESS)and its coordination and optimization operational model to reduce the curtailment of wind power and photovoltaic(PV)to the power grid and improve the flexibility of the power grid.Finally,this paper studied the simulation model of an energy storage optimization control strategy after the multi-energy storage system is connected to the distribution networks,and analyzed three operational modes of the multi-energy storage system.The simulation results show that the EHH-MESS proposed in this paper has a better power grid regulation flexibility and economy,and can be used to replace the battery energy storage system based on MATLAB.Yun Teng Zedi Wang Yan Li Qian Ma Qian Hui Shubin Li 2019CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2019,5,2:38
2Cardamonin from a medicinal herb protects against LPS-induced septic shock by suppressing NLRP3 inflammasome显示文摘Aberrant activation of NLRP3 inflammasome has been implicated in the pathogenesis of diverse inflammation-related diseases, and pharmacological molecules targeting NLRP3 inflammasome are of considerable value to identifying potential therapeutic interventions. Cardamonin(CDN), the major active ingredient of the traditional Chinese medicinal herb Alpinia katsumadai, has exerted an excellent anti-inflammatory activity, but the mechanism underlying this role is not fully understood. Here, we show that CDN blocks canonical and noncanonical NLRP3 inflammasome activation triggered by multiple stimuli. Moreover, the suppression of CDN on inflammasome activation is specific to NLRP3, not to NLRC4 or AIM2 inflammasome. Besides, the inhibitory effect is not dependent on the expression of NF-κB-mediated inflammasome precursor proteins. We also demonstrate that CDN suppresses the NLRP3 inflammasome through blocking ASC oligomerization and speckle formation in a dose-dependent manner.Importantly, CDN improves the survival of mice suffering from lethal septic shock and attenuates IL-1βproduction induced by LPS in vivo, which is shown to be NLRP3 dependent. 3Pyrosequencing Reveals Significant Changes in Microbial Communities Along the Ecological Succession of Biological Soil Crustsin the Tengger Desert of China显示文摘Biological soil crusts(BSCs)have important ecological functions in arid and semiarid lands,but they remain poorly understood in terms of the changes in microbial communities during BSC succession under in situ field conditions.Here,454 pyrosequencing was used to assess the microbial community composition of four BSC types in the Tengger Desert of China:alga,lichen(cyanolichen and green alga-lichen),and moss crusts,representing early,middle,and final successional stages of BSCs,respectively.The results showed the highest diversity of microbial communities inhabiting lichen crusts,whereas the lowest diversity was observed in moss crusts.Five phyla,Proteobacteria,Actinobacteria,Cyanobacteria,Bacteroidetes,and Acidobacteria,accounted for about 72% to 87%of total prokaryotic sequences in different BSCs.The most abundant eukaryotic microorganism was Ascomycota,accounting for 47%to 93%of the total eukaryotic sequences.Along the succession of BSCs,the abundance of photoautotrophic Cyanobacteria,Chlorophyta,and Bacillariophyta declined,and that of heterotrophic microorganisms such as bacteria and fungi increased.Statistical analysis showed clear divergency of microbial taxa at the class level among the different successional stages of BSCs.The clustering results at class level showed that the moss crusts were the farthest from the rest in prokaryotic composition;the alga crusts were the most different in terms of eukaryotic microorganisms and the two kinds of lichen crusts were relatively closer in both compositions.Ordination analysis showed that the main variations of community structure among BSCs could be explained best by the abundance of Cyanobacteria and Ascomycota and by physiochemical properties of BSCs,including mechanical composition,moisture,and electrical conductivity.In conclusion,our results indicate that Cyanobacteria and Ascomycota likely play an important role in the evolution of BSC structure and functions and highlight the importance of environmental factors in shaping microbial community structures of BSCs in the Tengger Desert of China.ZHANG Qingyi WANG Qiong OUYANG Hailong LAN Shubin HU Chunxiang 2018Pedosphere2018,28,2:9
4Bavachin enhances NLRP3 inflammasome activation induced by ATP or nigericin and causes idiosyncratic hepatotoxicity显示文摘Psoraleae Fructus(PF)is a well-known traditional herbal medicine in China,and it is widely used for osteoporosis,vitiligo,and other diseases in clinical settings.However,liver injury caused by PF and its preparations has been frequently reported in recent years.Our previous studies have demonstrated that PF could cause idiosyncratic drug-induced liver injury(IDILI),but the mechanism underlying its hepatotoxicity remains unclear.This paper reports that bavachin isolated from PF enhances the specific stimuli-induced activation of the NLRP3 inflammasome and leads to hepatotoxicity.Bavachin boosts the secretion of IL-ip and caspase-1 caused by ATP or nigericin but not those induced by poly(I:C),monosodium urate crystal,or intracellular lipopolysaccharide.Bavachin does not affect AIM2 or NLRC4 inflammasome activation.Mechanistically,bavachin specifically increases the production of nigericin-induced mitochondrial reactive oxygen species among the most important upstream events in the activation of the NLRP3 inflammasome.Bavachin increases the levels of aspartate transaminase and alanine aminotransferase in serum and hepatocyte injury accompanied by the secretion of IL-ip via a mouse model of lipopolysaccharide-mediated susceptibility to IDILI.These results suggest that bavachin specifically enhances the ATP-or nigericin-induced activation of the NLRP3 inflammasome.Bavachin also potentially contributes to PF-induced idiosyncratic hepatotoxicity.Moreover,bavachin and PF should be evaded among patients with diseases linked to the ATP-or nigericin-mediated activation of the NLRP3 inflammasome,which may be a dangerous factor for liver injury.Nan Qin Guang Xu Yan Wang Xiaoyan Zhan Yuan Gao Zhilei Wang Shubin Fu Wei Shi Xiaorong Hou Chunyu Wang Ruisheng Li Yan Liu Jiabo Wang Haiping Zhao Xiaohe Xiao Zhaofang Bai 2021Frontiers of Medicine2021,15,4:9
5Inheritance of Perpetual Blooming in Rosa chinensis ‘Old Blush'显示文摘Perpetual blooming is one of the most important biological and economical traits in modern rose, while the genetic basis underlining the control of this trait is poorly investigated. With an aim in dissecting the genetic determinism of perpetual blooming, we developed six rose populations(OB, W, F1, F2, BC1 OB and BC1W) derived from a WOB population [interspecific diploid hybridization between Rosa chinensis ‘Old Blush'(OB) and R. wichuriana ‘Basye's Thornless'(W)]. Perpetual blooming is absent both in a F1 population with 296 individuals and a BC1 W population(W as the backcross parent) with 150 individuals. However, the perpetual blooming trait showed a typical 3︰1 segregation in a backcross population BC1 OB with OB as the backcross parent. In this population with 300 individuals, 83 plants had the perpetual blooming phenotype while the other 217 featured non-perpetual blooming, indicating that the perpetual blooming trait is very likely controlled by two recessive genes in R. chinensis(rpb1 and rpb2). 6Large aperture N31 neodymium phosphate laser glass for use in a high power laser facility显示文摘Large aperture Nd:phosphate laser glass is a key optical element for an inertial confinement fusion(ICF) facility. N31,one type of neodymium doped phosphate glasses, was developed for high peak power laser facility applications in China. The composition and main properties of N31 glass are given, together with those of LHG-8, LG-770, and KGSS-0180 Nd:phosphate laser glasses, from Hoya and Schott, and from Russia. The technologies of pot melting, continuous melting, and edge cladding of large size N31 phosphate laser glass are briefly described. The small signal gain profiles of N31 glass slabs from both pot melting and continuous melting at various values of the pumping energy of the xenon lamp are presented. 7Understanding the adsorption mechanism of Ni(II) on graphene oxides by batch experiments and density functional theory studies显示文摘The graphene oxides(GOs) have attracted multidisciplinary study because of their special physicochemical properties. The high surface area and large amounts of oxygen-containing functional groups make GOs suitable materials for the efficient elimination of heavy metal ions from aqueous solutions. Herein the sorption of Ni(II) on GOs was studied using batch experiments, and the results showed that the sorption of Ni(II) is strongly dependent on p H and ionic strength at pH<8, and independent of ionic strength at pH>8. The sorption of Ni(II) is mainly dominated by outer-sphere surface complexation and ion exchange at low p H, and by inner-sphere surface complexation at high p H. The interaction of Ni(II) with GOs was also investigated by theoretical density functional theory(DFT) calculations, and the results show that the sorption of Ni(II) on GOs is mainly attributed to the –COH and –COC groups and the DFT calculations show that Ni(II) forms stable GO_Ni_triplet structure with the binding energy of -39.44 kcal/mol, which is in good agreement with the batch sorption experimental results. 9Crustal structures of the Weihe graben and its surroundings from receiver functions显示文摘We use 15 seismic stations,crossing the Qinling orogen(QO),Weihe graben(WG)and Ordos block(OB),to study the crustal structures by receiver functions(RFs)methods.The results show quite a difference in crustal structures and materials of three tectonic units(orogenic belt,extentional basin and stable craton).The average crustal thickness in the northern QO is 37.8 km,and Poisson ratio is 0.247,which indicates the increase of felsic materials in QO.In the southern OB,the average crustal thickness is 39.2 km and Poisson ratio is 0.265.Comparatively high value of Poisson ratio is related with old crystallized base in the lower crust and shallow sediments.The artificial RFs reveal that low-velocity and thick sediments have a significant effect on phases of the Mohorovi i discontinuity(Moho).As a result,the Moho phases in WG are tangled.S-wave velocity(VS)inversion shows that there are shallow sediment layers with 4–8 km’s thickness and high velocity zones in the middle-lower crust in WG.Complex Moho structure and high velocity zone may have been induced by the activities of the Weihe faults series.XU ShuBin MI Ning XU MingJie WANG LiangShu LI Hua YU DaYong 2014Science China Earth Sciences2014,57,2:5
10MOF-derived ZnCo_2O_4/C wrapped on carbon fiber as anode materials for structural lithium-ion batteries显示文摘To meet the requirements for the mechanical and electrochemical performance for carbon fiber-based (CF-based) composites in the structural lithium ion batteries (SLIBs) application, better CF-Based composites are urgently needed. Herein, we report a novel composite metal organic framework (MOF)-derived ZnCo_2 O_4/C@carbon fiber via a facile method and subsequent annealing treatment. In this anode,the nano ZnCo_2 O_4/C coatings wrapped on the surface of CF provide more active sites for electrode reactions and the thin carbon layers give the additional protection. For this material, after 100 cycles, it exhibits excellent cycling stability including high reversible capacity of 463 mAh/g at 50 mA/g, which increases 201% than that of the CF. 11Generation of tooth-like structures from integration-free human urine induced pluripotent stem cells显示文摘Background:Tooth is vital not only for a good smile,but also good health.Yet,we lose tooth regularly due to accidents or diseases.An ideal solution to this problem is to regenerate tooth with patients’own cells.Here we describe the generation of tooth-like structures from integration-free human urine induced pluripotent stem cells(ifhU-iPSCs).Results:We first differentiated ifhU-iPSCs to epithelial sheets,which were then recombined with E14.5 mouse dental mesenchymes.Tooth-like structures were recovered from these recombinants in 3 weeks with success rate up to 30%for 8 different iPSC lines,comparable to H1 hESC.We further detected that ifhU-iPSC derived epithelial sheets differentiated into enamel-secreting ameloblasts in the tooth-like structures,possessing physical properties such as elastic modulus and hardness found in the regular human tooth.Conclusion:Our results demonstrate that ifhU-iPSCs can be used to regenerate patient specific dental tissues or even tooth for further drug screening or regenerative therapies.Jinglei Cai Yanmei Zhang Pengfei Liu Shubin Chen Xuan Wu Yuhua Sun Ang Li Ke Huang Rongping Luo Lihui Wang Ying Liu Ting Zhou Shicheng Wei Guangjin Pan Duanqing Pei 2013Cell Regeneration2013,2,1:4
12Characterizing optical dipole trap via fluorescence of trapped cesium atoms显示文摘Optical dipole trap (ODT) is becoming an important tool of manipulating neu- tral atoms. In this paper ODT is realized with a far-off resonant laser beam strongly fo- cused in the magneto-optical trap (MOT) of cesium atoms. The light shift is measured by simply monitoring the fluorescence of the atoms in the magneto-optical trap and the opti- cal dipole trap simultaneously. 13A Silicon Monoxide Lithium-Ion Battery Anode with Ultrahigh Areal Capacity显示文摘Silicon monoxide(SiO)is an attractive anode material for next-generation lithium-ion batteries for its ultra-high theoretical capacity of 2680 mAh g−1.The studies to date have been limited to electrodes with a rela-tively low mass loading(<3.5 mg cm^(−2)),which has seriously restricted the areal capacity and its potential in practical devices.Maximizing areal capacity with such high-capacity materials is critical for capitalizing their potential in practi-cal technologies.Herein,we report a monolithic three-dimensional(3D)large-sheet holey gra-phene framework/SiO(LHGF/SiO)composite for high-mass-loading electrode.By specifically using large-sheet holey graphene building blocks,we construct LHGF with super-elasticity and exceptional mechanical robustness,which is essential for accommodating the large volume change of SiO and ensuring the structure integrity even at ultrahigh mass loading.Additionally,the 3D porous graphene network structure in LHGF ensures excellent electron and ion transport.By systematically tailoring microstructure design,we show the LHGF/SiO anode with a mass loading of 44 mg cm^(−2)delivers a high areal capacity of 35.4 mAh cm^(−2)at a current of 8.8 mA cm^(−2)and retains a capacity of 10.6 mAh cm^(−2)at 17.6 mA cm^(−2),greatly exceeding those of the state-of-the-art commercial or research devices.Furthermore,we show an LHGF/SiO anode with an ultra-high mass loading of 94 mg cm^(−2)delivers an unprecedented areal capacity up to 140.8 mAh cm^(−2).The achievement of such high areal capacities marks a critical step toward realizing the full potential of high-capacity alloy-type electrode materials in practical lithium-ion batteries.Jiang Zhong Tao Wang Lei Wang Lele Peng Shubin Fu Meng Zhang Jinhui Cao Xiang Xu Junfei Liang Huilong Fei Xidong Duan Bingan Lu Yiliu Wang Jian Zhu Xiangfeng Duan 2022Nano-Micro Letters2022,14,3:4

15Neural progenitor cells from human induced pluripotent stem cells generated less autogenous immune response显示文摘The breakthrough development of induced pluripotent stem cells(iPSCs)raises the prospect of patient-specific treatment for many diseases through the replacement of affected cells.However,whether iPSC-derived functional cell lineages generate a deleterious immune response upon auto-transplantation remains unclear.In this study,we differentiated five human iPSC lines from skin fibroblasts and urine cells into neural progenitor cells(NPCs)and analyzed their immunogenicity.Through co-culture with autogenous peripheral blood mononuclear cells(PBMCs),we showed that both somatic cells and iPSC-derived NPCs do not stimulate significant autogenous PBMC proliferation.However,a significant immune reaction was detected when these cells were co-cultured with allogenous PBMCs.Furthermore,no significant expression of perforin or granzyme B was detected following stimulation of autogenous immune effector cells(CD3+CD8 T cells,CD3+CD8+T cells or CD3 CD56+NK cells)by NPCs in both PBMC and T cell co-culture systems.These results suggest that human iPSC-derived NPCs may not initiate an immune response in autogenous transplants,and thus set a base for further preclinical evaluation of human iPSCs.HUANG Ke LIU PengFei LI Xiang CHEN ShuBin WANG LiHui QIN Li SU ZhengHui HUANG WenHao LIU JuLi JIA Bei LIU Jie CAI JingLei PEI DuanQing PAN GuangJin 2014Science China(Life Sciences)2014,57,2:3
16Preparation and properties of ^(117m)Sn(Ⅳ)-TTHMP in in-vitro and in small animals显示文摘In this work,TTHMP was synthesized and labelled with ^(117m)Sn.The preparation conditions,stability and lipophilicity of ^(117m)Sn(Ⅳ)-TTHMP were investigated.Biodistribution of the complex in rabbits and mice was studied. 18Numerical simulation of profile control by clay particles after polymer flooding显示文摘A three-dimensional,two-phase,five-component mathematical model has been developed to describe flow characteristics of clay particles and flocs in the profile control process,in which the clay particle suspension is injected into the formation to react with residual polymer.This model considers the reaction of clay particles with residual polymer,apparent viscosity of the mixture,retention of clay particles and flocs,as well as the decline in porosity and permeability caused by the retention of clay particles and flocs.A finite difference method is used to discretize the equation for each component in the model.The Runge-Kutta method is used to solve the polymer flow equation,and operator splitting algorithms are used to split the flow equation for clay particles into a hyperbolic equation for convection and a parabolic equation for diffusion,which effectively ensures excellent precision,high speed and good stability.The numerical simulation had been applied successfully in the 4-P1920 unit of the Lamadian Oilfield to forecast the blocking capacity of clay particle suspension and to optimize the injection parameters.Feng Qihong Shi Shubin Wang Sen Zheng Lu 2010Petroleum Science2010,7,4:2
19Dislocation glide and mechanical twinning in a ductile VNbTi medium entropy alloy显示文摘An equiatomic VNbTi medium-entropy alloy with outstanding tensile properties and unique deformation behavior is reported.The screw dislocation glide,deformation twinning,and dislocation accumulation induced kink bands are identified as three deformation mechanisms that contribute to a large elongation above 20%.The{112}<111>twins are activated at the beginning of the yield stage accompanied by sudden stress-drop and pronounced acoustic emission.Dislocations dominate subsequent tensile deformation,and the prevalent multiplanar dislocation slip promotes the formation of complex dislocation configurations(e.g.,debris,dipoles,and loops)and dense dislocation networks.The twin bands and kink bands can further impede the dislocation motion meanwhile effectively alleviate stress concentration.The synergistic activation of these deformation mechanisms provides new opportunities to design ductile refractory medium-and high-entropy alloys.Mingxu Wu Shubin Wang Fei Xiao Guoliang Zhu Chao Yang Da Shu Baode Sun 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,15:2
