1Analysis of stable components for extended-range (10-30 days) weather forecast:A case study of continuous overcast-rainy process in early 2009 over the mid-lower reaches of the Yangtze River显示文摘A continuous overcast-rainy weather(CORW) process occurred over the mid-lower reaches of the Yangtze River(MLRYR) in China from February 14 to March 9 in 2009,with a large stretch and long duration that was rarely seen in historical records.Using the empirical orthogonal function(EOF),we analyzed the geopotential height anomaly field of the NCEP-DOE Reanalysis II in the same period,and defined the stable components of extended-range(10-30 days) weather forecast(ERWF).Furthermore,we defined anomalous and climatic stable components based on the variation characteristics of the variance contribution ratio of EOF components.The climatic stable components were able to explain the impact of climatically averaged information on the ERWF,and the anomalous stable components revealed the abnormal characteristics of the continuous overcast-rainy days.Our results show that the stable components,especially the anomalous stable components,can maintain the stability for a longer time(more than 10 days) and manifest as monthly scale low-frequency variation and ultra-long-wave activities.They also behave as ultra-long waves of planetary scale with a stable and vertically coherent structure,reflect the variation of general circulation in mid-high latitudes,display the cycle of the zonal circulation and the movement and adjustment of the ultra-long waves,and are closely linked to the surface CORW process.FENG GuoLin SUN ShuPeng ZHAO JunHu ZHENG ZhiHai 2013Science China Earth Sciences2013,56,9:8
2Cathepsin B-responsive nanodrug delivery systems for precise diagnosis and targeted therapy of malignant tumors显示文摘The tumor microenvironment(TME)significantly influences cancer evolution and therapeutic efficacy.Targeting biofunctional molecules to the TME has long been appreciated as a means of raising local drug concentrations and reducing systemic toxicities.The booming nanotechnology field has realized the importance of cathepsin B to derive a variety of intelligent enzyme-responsive nanosized drug delivery systems(nanoDDS)to improve treatment responses and clinical outcomes.In this tutorial review,after introducing the molecular structure and physiological/pathological functions of cathepsin B,the outstanding achievements of cathepsin B-responsive nanoplatforms in the precise diagnosis,targeted therapy,and synergistic theranostics of malignant tumors are systematically described.Finally,the challenges of enzyme-substrate incompatibility,low diagnostic sensitivity,mass production and biocompatibility of multifunctional nanoDDS are considered in order to successfully promote them to clinical applications.Yanan Li Ting Mei Shupeng Han Tao Han Yongbing Sun Hui Zhang Feifei An 2020Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,12:5
3Experimental study on inner slope failure mechanism of seawall by coupling effect of storm surge and wave显示文摘In the context of global climate change,the impact of group-occurring ocean dynamic disasters on China's offshore areas is becoming more and more intense.The study of the effect of existing ocean dynamic disasters on offshore hazard-bearing bodies mostly focuses on the effect of single disaster-causing factors,and it is still insufficient to study storm surge and dynamic wave coupling&reinforcement effects as well as the process of the dynamic response of such hazard-bearing bodies as seawalls.This study firstly realized the synchronous process of water level and wave through continuous tide generation and wave generation by the wave maker and tide generating device,so as to realize the dynamic coupling simulation of storm surge and wave in the laboratory.Then the physical model test of the typical seawall section was carried out under the dynamic coupling of storm surge and wave as well as at a conventional fixed water level respectively.In the process of test wave overtopping discharge and the damage process of the levee crown and backwall of seawalls were observed and compared,and their damage mechanism was also studied.PAN Junning WANG Shupeng SUN Tianting CHEN Maowen WANG Dengting 2019Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2019,37,6:2
4Research progress on distribution,sources,identification,toxicity,and biodegradation of microplastics in the ocean,freshwater,and soil environment显示文摘Microplastics(MPs)are distributed in the oceans,freshwater,and soil environment and have become major pollutants.MPs are generally referred to as plastic particles less than 5 mm in diameter.They consist of primary microplastics synthesized in microscopic size manufactured production and secondary microplastics generated by physical and environmental degradation.Plastic particles are long-lived pollutants that are highly resistant to environmental degradation.In this review,the distribution and possible sources of MPs in aquatic and terrestrial environments are described.Moreover,the adverse effects of MPs on natural creatures due to ingestion have been discussed.We also have summarized identification methods based on MPs particle size and chemical bond.To control the pollution of MPs,the biodegradation of MPs under the action of different microbes has also been reviewed in this work.This review will contribute to a better understanding of MPs pollution in the environment,as well as their identification,toxicity,and biodegradation in the ocean,freshwater,and soil,and the assessment and control of microplastics exposure.Qinghui Sun Juan Li Chen Wang Anqi Chen Yanli You Shupeng Yang Huihui Liu Guibin Jiang Yongning Wu Yanshen Li 2022Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2022,16,1:2

8恢复梯度上华中亚热带森林生物多样性、林分因子及功能特性对生物量、生产力的影响显示文摘草地群落上进行的控制实验大都发现生物多样性对生态系统功能有显著促进作用。然而,在天然林中,多样性与林分因子、群落功能特性的相对作用大小仍存在争议。本文在森林恢复梯度上,研究这3类因素对生物量和生产力的相对影响。我们在湖北神农架设置了处于不同恢复阶段的24块(600 m2)亚热带森林样地,计算了林分生物量和生产力。选择5个关键的植物功能性状,并计算了群落的功能多样性(功能丰富度、功能均匀度和功能离散度)和性状的加权平均值(CWM)。使用一般线性模型(GLMs)、变异分离等方法探究林分因子(密度、林龄、群落最大树高等)、功能特性、物种和功能多样性对生物量和生产力的相对重要性。研究结果表明,随着森林恢复,林分生物量和生产力显著增加,群落物种丰富度显著增加,而功能离散度显著降低。变异分离结果表明,多样性对生物量和生产力的单独效应不显著,但可能通过与林分因子和功能特性的协同效应来影响生物量和生产力。总体而言,我们发现林分因子对亚热带森林生物量和生产力的影响最大,功能特性显著影响生产力,但不影响生物量。这些结果说明,在森林经营中,调整林分结构和群落物种特性是提高森林碳储量和固碳潜力的有效途径。Wenhao Miao Shupeng Ma Zhiwen Guo Haozhe Sun Xuemei Wang Yueming Lyu Xiangping Wang 2022Journal of Plant Ecology2022,15,2:0
