1Characterization and Apparent Kinetics of Polymerization of 1-Decene Catalyzed by Boron Trifluoride/Alcohol System显示文摘Poly-α-olefin(PAO) synthetic oil is the base oil of high-quality lubricants, and has a huge market potential.We illustrate PAO synthesis by catalytic polymerization of 1-decene with a boron trifluoride(BF_3)/alcohol system. Gas chromatography–mass spectrometry, proton nuclear magnetic resonance and ^(13) C nuclear magnetic resonance analysis confirmed dimer, trimer and tetramer structures of PAO. Each component contained branched chains with a 1,2 insertion of a head-to-tail link; a 2,1 insertion of a tail-to-tail link and a methyl-containing linked structure. At a low conversion rate, the reaction rate was related directly with the reaction temperature and the catalyst/1-decene concentration. 4A Bionic Study on the Anti-erosion Mechanism of Laudakia stoliczkana:Experimental and Numerical Aspects显示文摘The scales of body surface of Laudakia stoliczkana have the morphology of convex hulls,which are arranged in groove structure in macroscopic scale.Its body surface skin is mainly composed of the'soft'layer of keratin and the'hard'layer of the cuticle covering on the'soft'layer.The coupling effect of the scale morphology and skin's structure gives Laudakia stoliczkana the excellent ability to resist the sand erosion in desert environment.Inspired by the convex surface morphology and the composite structure of the'soft'and'hard'layers of the skin of Laudakia stoliczkana^the coupling bionic samples are febricated and the erosion resistance performance is tested.The test results show that the coupling bionic samples have good erosion resistance perfbimance and the samples with spherical convex hull exhibit the best erosion resistance performance.Moreover,based on the theory of stress wave propagation in solid the numerical simula tions of particles impacting to the coupling bionic samples and bionic layered structure are done respectively and the anti-erosion me chanism of the bionic layered structure is analyzed.The simulation results are consistent with the experimental results,which show that the coupling bionic samples can effectively reduce the amplitude of the incident stress wave,and thus can prevent the failure of samples.Ping Liang Youhong Sun Sihan Liu Tianwei Liang Yuhang Zhang Youwei Wang Luquan Ren 2019Journal of Bionic Engineering2019,16,5:2

6CAPE promotes the expansion of human umbilical cord blood-derived hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells in vitro显示文摘Due to the low number of collectable stem cells from single umbilical cord blood(UCB)unit,their initial uses were limited to pediatric therapies.Clinical applications of UCB hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells(HSPCs)would become feasible if there were a culture method that can effectively expand HSPCs while maintaining their self-renewal capacity.In recent years,numerous attempts have been made to expand human UCB HSPCs in vitro.In this study,we report that caffeic acid phenethyl ester(CAPE),a small molecule from honeybee extract,can promote in vitro expansion of HSPCs.Treatment with CAPE increased the percentage of HSPCs in cultured mononuclear cells.Importantly,culture of CD34+HSPCs with CAPE resulted in a significant increase in total colony-forming units and high proliferative potential colony-forming units.Burst-forming unit-erythroid was the mostly affected colony type,which increased more than 3.7-fold in 1μg mL 1CAPE treatment group when compared to the controls.CAPE appears to induce HSPC expansion by upregulating the expression of SCF and HIF1-α.Our data suggest that CAPE may become a potent medium supplement for in vitro HSPC expansion.LIU YiMing ZHANG BoWen ZHANG Jing WANG SiHan YAO HaiLei HE LiJuan CHEN Lin YUE Wen LI YanHua PEI XueTao 2014Science China(Life Sciences)2014,57,2:2
7Thermal Behavior Analysis of Stacked-type Supercapacitors with Different Cell Structures显示文摘As a new energy storage element,supercapacitors have characteristics such as high power density,fast charge and discharge rates,green environmental protection,and long cycle life.Temperature is an important parameter of supercapacitors which significantly influences the stability of the supercapacitors.In this study,the finite element method is used to realize a coupling between a one-dimensional electrochemical model and a three-dimensional thermal model.Then,based on this model,the concept of limited cycle numbers is defined,and different unit quantities,unit size,and the effect of temperature under different temperature environments such as low temperature,room temperature,and high temperature on stacked-type supercapacitors is studied.Finally,stacked-type supercapacitors are compared with rolled-type supercapacitors considering the same cell size,density,and volume approximations.The simulation results show that the higher the number of packaging units,the lower is the limit cycle number.This phenomenon is more pronounced under high current than under low current conditions.Increasing the package size of the porous electrode or separator decreases the limiting cycles.Under the same unit volume scenario,improving the separator size proportion can accurately control the temperature rise at small current values.Under the same material,volume,and density approximations,the temperature rises slowly for stacked-type supercapacitors as compared to rolled-type supercapacitors.This phenomenon is more pronounced with an increase in current.Yansong Li Sihan Wang Meina Zheng Jun Liu 2018CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2018,4,1:2
8A shedding soluble form of interleukin-17 receptor D exacerbates collagen-induced arthritis through facilitating TNF-α-dependent receptor clustering显示文摘Rheumatoid arthritis(RA)is exacerbated by TNF-alpha signaling.However,it remains unclear whether TNF-α-activated TNFR1 and TNFR2 are regulated by extracellular factors.Here,we showed that soluble glycosylated interleukin-17 receptor D(sIL-17RD),which was produced by proteolytic cleavage,enhanced TNF-α-induced RA.We revealed that IL-17RD shedding was induced by the proteolytic enzyme TACE and enhanced by TNF-αexpression in macrophages.Intriguingly,sIL-17RD was elevated in the sera of arthritic mice and rats.Recombinant sIL-17RD significantly enhanced the TNF-α-induced proinflammatory response by promoting TNF-α-TNFR-sIL-17RD complex formation and receptor clustering,leading to the accelerated development of collagen-induced arthritis.Our observations revealed that ectodomain shedding of IL-17RD occurred in RA to boost the TNF-α-induced inflammatory response.Targeting sIL-17RD may provide a new strategy for the therapy of RA.Sihan Liu Yanxia Fu Kunrong Mei Yinan Jiang Xiaojun Sun Yinyin Wang Fangli Ren Congshan Jiang Liesu Meng Shemin Lu Zhihai Qin Chen Dong Xinquan Wang Zhijie Chang Shigao Yang 2021Cellular & Molecular Immunology2021,18,8:1

10Preparation of antifouling ultrafiltration membranes from copolymers of polysulfone and zwitterionic poly(arylene ether sulfone)s显示文摘The past few decades have witnessed rapid gains in our demands of antifouling membranes such as water purification membranes and hemodialysis membranes.A variety of methodologies have been proposed for improving the antifouling performance and the hemocompatibility of the membranes.In this study,a series of copolymers(PSF-PESSB)containing polysulfone(PSF)and poly(arylene ether sulfone)bearing pendant zwitterionic sulfobetaine groups(PESSB)were prepared via one-pot polycondensation.Subsequently,the ultrafiltration(UF)membranes were prepared from different zwitterion-containing copolymers.The prepared membranes showed high thermal stability and mechanical properties.Besides,it also displayed attractive antifouling performance and blood compatibility.Compared with the original PSF membrane,the amount of protein absorption on the modified membrane was reduced;the flux recovery ratio and the resistance to blood cells were significantly improved.The results of this work suggest that PSF-PESSB membranes are expected to be applied in blood purification.The introduction of zwitterion-containing polymers to membranes paves ways for developing advanced hemodialysis technologies for crucial process.Sihan Huang Yaohan Chen Xue Wang Jing Guo Yonggang Li Lei Dai Shenghai Li Suobo Zhang 2022Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2022,35,9:1

13Honeycomb-Like Hydrogel Microspheres for 3D Bulk Construction of Tumor Models显示文摘A two-dimensional(2D)cell culture-based model is widely applied to study tumorigenic mechanisms and drug screening.However,it cannot authentically simulate the threedimensional(3D)microenvironment of solid tumors and provide reliable and predictable data in response to in vivo,thus leading to the research ilusionis and failure of drug screening.In this study,honeycomb-like gelatin methacryloyl(GelMA)hydrogel microspheres are developed by synchronous photocrosslinking microluidic technique to construct a 3D model of osteosarcoma.The in vitro study shows that ostcosarcoma cells(K7M2)culured in 3D GelMA microspheres have stronger tumorous stemness。proliferation and migration abilitics,more osteoclastogenetic ability,and reistance to chemotherapeutic drugs(DOX)than that of cells in 2D cultures.More imporantly,the 3D-cultured K7M2 cells show more tumorigenicity in immunologically sound mice,characterized by shorter tumorigenesis time,larger tumor volumc,severe bone destruction,and higher mortality.In conclusion,honeycomb like porous microsphere scaffolds are constructed with uniform structure by micofluidic technology to massively produce tumor cells with original phenotypes.Those microspheres could recapitulate the physiology microenvironment of tumors.maintain ell-cell and cell-extracellular matrix interactions,and thus provide an efective and convenient strategy for tumor pathogenesis and drug screening research.Jiachen He Chichi Chen Liang Chen Ruoyu Cheng Jie Sun Xingzhi Liu Lin Wang Can Zhu Sihan Hu Yuan Xue Jian Lu Huiling Yang Wenguo Cui Qin Shi 2022Research2022,,2:1

18Transformer fault diagnosis based on relational teacher-student network显示文摘The analysis of dissolved gas in oil can provide an important basis for transformer fault diagnosis.In order to improve the accuracy of transformer fault diagnosis,a method based on the relational teacher-student network(R-TSN)is proposed by analyzing the relationship between the dissolved gas in the oil and the fault type.R-TSN replaces the original hard labels with soft labels,and uses it to measure the similarity between different samples in the space,to a certain extent,it can obtain the hidden feature information in the samples,and clarify the classification boundary.Through the identification experiment,the effect of R-TSN diagnosis model is analyzed,and the influence of the compound fault of discharge and thermal on the diagnosis model is studied.This paper compares R-TSN with support vector machines(SVMs),decision trees and multilayer perceptron models in transformer fault diagnosis.Experimental results show that R-TSN has better performance than the above methods.After adding compound faults in the sample set,the accuracy rate can still reach 86.0%.Yin Sihan Li Yalei Liu Xiaoping Cui Xu Wang Huapeng 2023The Journal of China Universities of Posts and Telecommunications2023,30,3:0
19A novel biodegradable high nitrogen iron alloy with simultaneous enhancement of corrosion rate and local corrosion resistance显示文摘To improve the corrosion rate and suppress the local corrosion,a novel biodegradable high nitrogen(N)FeMnN alloy was developed,and the effects of N content on the corrosion behaviors were systematically investigated.It was found that,as the N content increased,the corrosion rate was significantly enhanced in both Hank’s solution and simulated gastric fluid.Meanwhile,as the N content increased,the size and depth of pits decreased obviously,and the number of pits increased,which presented a more uniform corrosion morphology.X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)results indicated that N existed in the form of NH_(4)^(+) in the corrosion products and[FeN]clusters in the matrix.The[FeN]clusters would simultane-ously improve the corrosion rate and suppress the local corrosion,which provides a new perspective for the development of biodegradable Fe alloy.Sihan Lu Qingchuan Wang Yi Zhang Huabing Li Hao Feng Lili Tan Ke Yang 2023Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,21:0
20Control of lupus activity during pregnancy via the engagement of IgG sialylation:novel crosstalk between IgG sialylation and pDC functions显示文摘Immunoglobulin(IgG)glycosylation affects the effector functions of IgG in a myriad of biological processes and has been closely associated with numerous autoimmune diseases,including systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE),thus underlining the pathogenic role of glycosylation aberration in autoimmunity.This study aims to explore the relationship between IgG sialylation patterns and lupus pregnancy.Relative to that in serum samples from the control cohort,IgG sialylation level was aberrantly downregulated in serum samples from the SLE cohort at four stages(from preconception to the third trimester of pregnancy)and was significantly associated with lupus activity and fetal loss during lupus pregnancy.The type I interferon signature of pregnant patients with SLE was negatively correlated with the level of IgG sialylation.The lack of sialylation dampened the ability of IgG to suppress the functions of plasmacytoid dendritic cells(pDCs).RNA-seq analysis further revealed that the expression of genes associated with the spleen tyrosine kinase(SYK)signaling pathway significantly differed between IgG-and deSia-IgG-treated pDCs.This finding was confirmed by the attenuation of the ability to phosphorylate SYK and BLNK in deSia-IgG.Finally,the coculture of pDCs isolated from pregnant patients with SLE with IgG/deSia-IgG demonstrated the sialylation-dependent anti-inflammatory function of IgG.Our findings suggested that IgG influences lupus activity through regulating pDCs function via the modulation of the SYK pathway in a sialic acid-dependent manner.You Wang Sihan Lin Jiayue Wu Meng Jiang Jianhua Lin Yu Zhang Huihua Ding Haibo Zhou Nan Shen Wen Di 2023Frontiers of Medicine2023,17,3:0
