2Effect of spinal manipulation on degenerative scoliosis显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effect of spinal manipulation(SM)on degenerative scoliosis by evaluating patients’visual analog scale(VAS)scores,Cobb angles,sagittal vertical axis(SVA),and apical vertebral rotation(AVR)and to explore factors that influence treatment effect.METHODS:A total of 55 patients with degenerative scoliosis received 4 weeks of SM.After treatment,patients were divided into two groups:the remission group(VAS score<40 mm)and the non-remission group(VAS score≥40 mm).Pre-versus post-treatment VAS scores,Cobb angles,SVA,and AVR were compared in each group and in the total population.Baseline data(sex,age,symptom characteristics,duration of symptoms,VAS score,Cobb angle,SVA,and AVR)were compared between groups.Factors influencing the post-treatment VAS score were explored with multiple linear regression analysis.RESULTS:No changes were found in the Cobb angle(P=0.722)or AVR(P=0.424)after intervention in the overall population.However,the SVA(P<0.001)and VAS score(P=0.000)changed significantly after treatment.Similar changes were observed in the remission group(n=29).Multiple linear regression revealed that the only factors influencing treatment effect were symptom characteristics,SVA,and VAS score.CONCLUSION:SM relieved pain and improved sagittal imbalance in patients with degenerative scoliosis.It did not lessen the severity of coronal curvature or vertebral rotation.Factors influencing the effect of SM included symptom characteristics,VAS score,and SVA.A larger randomized trial is needed to further confirm our results.Sun Wu Gao Jinghua Zhu Liguo Wang Baojian Xiao Wei Wang Zhenzhong Yang Kexin 2020Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2020,40,6:8
3Design of Reflective Concentrator Model with Application for Concentrator Photovoltaic System显示文摘The nonuniform irradiation in the standard photovoltaic(PV) cells causes their relatively high series resistance,which results in a considerably lowered efficiency of PV cells.Currently the concentrator of uniform irradiation designed for concentrator photovoltaic is rare in China and lack sufficient theoretical research.In this paper,a systematic research on the solar reflective concentrator is conducted.A novel structure for a solar reflective concentrator is designed with the application of a flat mirror matrix to concentrate the sunlight for concentrator photovoltaic(CPV) systems.Sunlight beams are focused through the reflection of the mirror array on the solar cell to generate electricity.The concentrator is capable of producing much more uniform sunlight with a certain concentration ratio.The design scheme includes laying out the flat mirrors,optimizing the optical pathway and the parameters of each mirror.The prototype of the CPV system was installed at Nanjing,China.In the configuration of the prototype,it is composed of 24 pieces parallelogram flat mirrors,which are arranged into a total reflective array of 5 rows and 5 columns.In comparison with the parabolic trough concentrator,the experimental measurements verify such design has high efficiency.The concentrator model of a flat mirror matrix and the proposed new design method will lay a solid foundation for designing the concentrator of uniform irradiation.SU Zhongyuan ZHANG Yaoming JIA Minping SUN Liguo XU Feiyun WANG Jun 2011Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2011,24,6:8

5Exploring mission planning method for a team of carrier aircraft launching显示文摘High-level efficiency and safety are of great significance for improving the fighting capability of an aircraft carrier. One way to enhance efficiency and safety level is to organize the carrier aircraft into combat effectively. This paper studies the mission planning problem for a team of carrier aircraft launching, and a novel distributed mission planning architecture is proposed. The architecture is hierarchical and is comprised of four levels, namely, the input level, the coordination level,the path planning level and the execution level. Realistic constraints in each level of the distributed architecture, such as the vortex flow effect, the crowd effect and the motion of aircraft, are considered in the model. To solve this problem, a distributed path planning algorithm based on the asynchronous planning strategy is developed. The proposed Mission Planning Approach for Carrier Aircraft Launching(MPACAL) is validated using the setups of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier.Compared to the isolated planning architecture and the centralized planning architecture, the proposed distributed planning architecture has advantages in coordinating the launch tasks not only belonging to the same catapult but also when all different catapults are considered. 6Effective control allocation using hierarchical multi-objective optimization for multi-phase flight显示文摘For different flight phases in an overall flight mission,different control and allocation preferences should be pursued considering lift,drag or maneuverability characteristics.The multi-objective flight control allocation problem for a multi-phase flight mission is studied.For an overall flight mission,different flight phases namely climbing,cruise,maneuver and gliding phases are defined.Firstly,a multi-objective control allocation problem considering drag,lift or control energy preference is constructed.Secondly,considering different control preferences at different flight phases,the analytic hierarchical process method is used to construct a comprehensive performance index from different objectives such as lift or drag preferences.The active set based dynamic programming optimization method is used to solve the real-time optimization problem.For the validation,the Innovative Control Effector(ICE)tailless aircraft nonlinear model and the angular acceleration measurements based adaptive Incremental Backstepping(IBKS)are used to construct the validation platform.Finally,an overall flight mission is simulated to demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed multi-phase and multi-objective flight control allocation method.The results show that the comprehensive performance index for different phases,which are determined from the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP)method,can suitably satisfy the preference requirements for different flight phases.Liguo SUN Qing ZHOU Baoxu JIA Wenqian TAN Hangxu LI 2020Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2020,33,7:4
7Time-varying linear control for tiltrotor aircraft显示文摘Tiltrotor aircraft have three flight modes: helicopter mode, airplane mode, and transition mode. A tiltrotor has characteristics of highly nonlinear, time-varying flight dynamics and inertial/-control couplings in its transition mode. It can transit from the helicopter mode to the airplane mode by tilting its nacelles, and an effective controller is crucial to accomplish tilting transition missions. Longitudinal dynamic characteristics of the tiltrotor are described by a nonlinear Lagrangeform model, which takes into account inertial/control couplings and aerodynamic interferences.Reference commands for airspeed velocity and attitude in the transition mode are calculated dynamically by visiting a command library which is founded in advance by analyzing the flight envelope of the tiltrotor. A Time-Varying Linear(TVL) model is obtained using a Taylorexpansion based online linearization technique from the nonlinear model. Subsequently, based on an optimal control concept, an online optimization based control method with input constraints considered is proposed. To validate the proposed control method, three typical tilting transition missions are simulated using the nonlinear model of XV-15 tiltrotor aircraft. 9Microstructure and texture evolution of fine-grained Mg-Zn-Y-Nd alloy micro-tubes for biodegradable vascular stents processed by hot extrusion and rapid cooling显示文摘Magnesium alloys have narrow available slip result from close-packed hexagonal structure that limit their processing properties.In the recent work,the Mg-2Zn-0.46Y-0.5Nd,as materials for degradable stents,was applied to produce as-extruded micro-tube with an outer diameter of 3.0mm and a wall thickness of 0.35mm by hot extrusion with an extrusion ratio of 105:1 at 653K and rapid cooling.The fine microstructure of the dynamic recrystallization of as-extruded micro-tube could be preserved by rapid cooling such as water-cooled,resulting in more excellent mechanical properties relative to air-cooled micro-tube.The addition of rare earth elements Y and Nd results in continuous dynamic recrystallization dominated the dynamic recrystallization mechanism.During the hot extrusion process,the activation of the non-basal slip system,especially the pyramidal(c+a)slip,could significantly weaken the texture strength,and the as-extruded micro-tube exhibits weak'RE'texture components(011^(-)1)||ED and(1^(-)21^(-)1)||ED.Hence,the magnesium alloy micro-tube prepared by the rapid cooling has fine microstructure and weak texture,which is favorable for further process and governance.Kaikai Guo Mengyao Liu Jianfeng Wang Yufeng Sun Weiqing Li Shijie Zhu Liguo Wang Shaokang Guan 2020Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2020,8,3:3
10MoS_(2) on topological insulator Bi_(2)Te_(3) thin films:Activation of the basal plane for hydrogen reduction显示文摘2H-MoS_(2) is a well-studied and promising non-noble metal electrocatalyst for heterogeneous reactions,such as the hydrogen evolution reaction(HER).The performance is largely limited by the chemically inert basal plane,which is unfavorable for surface adsorption and reactions.Herein,we report a facile method to boost the HER activities of 2H-MoS_(2) by coupling with epitaxial Bi2Te3 topological insulator films.The as-obtained MoS_(2)/Bi2Te3/SrTiO3 catalyst exhibits prominent HER catalytic activities compared to that of pure MoS_(2) structures,with a 189 mV decrease in the overpotential required to reach a current density of 10 mA cm^(−2) and a low Tafel slope of 58 mV dec−1.Theoretical investigations suggest that the enhanced catalytic activity originates from the charge redistribution at the interface between the Bi2Te3topological insulator films and the MoS_(2) layer.The delocalized sp-derived topological surface states could denote electrons to the MoS_(2) layer and activate the basal plane for hydrogen adsorption.This study demonstrates the potential of manipulating topological surface states to design high-performance electrocatalysts.Guowei Lia Jue Huang Qun Yang Liguo Zhang Qingge Mu Yan Sun Stuart Parkin Kai Chang Claudia Felser 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,11:1

13Static Radical Stiffness and Contact Behavior of Nonpneumatic Mechanical Elastic Wheel显示文摘Conventional pneumatic tires exhibit disadvantages such as puncture,blowout at high speed,pressure maintenance,etc.Owing to these structural inevitable weaknesses,non?pneumatic tires have been developed and are investigated.A non?pneumatic mechanical elastic wheel(NPMEW)is introduced and investigated as a function of static radical stiffness characteristics and contact behavior.A bench test method is utilized to improve the riding comfort and the traction traffic ability of NPMEW based on tire characteristics test rig,and the static radical stiffness characteristics and the contact behavior of NPMEW are compared with that of an insert supporting run?flat tire(ISRFT).The vertical force?deformation curves and deformed shapes and contact areas of the NPMEW and ISRFT are obtained using a set of vertical loads.The contact behavior is evaluated using extracted geometrical and mechanical feature parameters of the two tires.The results indicate that the NPMEW appears to exhibit considerably high radical stiffness,and the numerical value is dependent on the mechanical characteristic of the flexible tire body and hinge units.NPMEW demonstrates more uniform contact pressure than ISRFT within a certain loading range,and it can efficiently mitigate the problem of stress concentration in ISRFT shoulder under heavy load and enhance the wear resistance and ground grip performances.ZANG Liguo ZHAO Youqun SUN Haiyan LIN Fen 2019Transactions of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics2019,36,4:1
14Corrosion fatigue of the extruded Mg-Zn-Y-Nd alloy in simulated body fluid显示文摘Magnesium alloys were considered to be used as biodegradable implants due to their biocompatibility,biodegradability and nontoxicity.However,under the simultaneous action of corrosive environment and mechanical loading in human body,magnesium alloys are easy to be affected by corrosion fatigue and stress corrosion cracking.In this work,the fatigue behavior of the extruded Mg-Zn-Y-Nd alloy used for vascular stents was studied both in air and in simulated body fluid(SBF).It was revealed that the fatigue limit of as-extruded Mg-Zn-Y-Nd alloy in air is about 65 MPa at 10^7 cycles,while there is no limit in SBF and shows a linear relationship between the fatigue life and stress amplitudes.The fatigue crack source in air was formed by the inclusions and defects.However,the stress corrosion and hydrogen embrittlement are the main reasons for the formation of the fatigue initial crack source in SBF.Mengyao Liu Jianfeng Wang Shijie Zhu Yabo Zhang Yufeng Sun Liguo Wang Shaokang Guan 2020Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2020,8,1:1
15Dual-parameter shaping regularized full waveform inversion in frequency domain显示文摘The regularization contributes to the resolution and stability in geophysical inversion. The authors apply dual-parameter shaping regularization to full waveform inversion,aiming at two points:( 1) improving the boundary resolution,and( 2) increasing convergence. Firstly,the forward modeling is done,and the inversion is processed with the optimal solution. Compared with classical Tikhonov regularization scheme,the method reflects better resolution and stronger convergence.
