| 1 | Ectopic osteogenesis and angiogenesis regulated by porous architecture of hydroxyapatite scaffolds with similar interconnecting structure in vivo显示文摘The macro-pore sizes of porous scaffold play a key role for regulating ectopic osteogenesis and angiogenesis but many researches ignored the influence of interconnection between macro-pores with different sizes.In order to accurately reveal the relationship between ectopic osteogenesis and macro-pore sizes in dorsal muscle and abdominal cavities of dogs,hydroxyapatite(HA)scaffolds with three different macro-pore sizes of 500–650,750–900 and 1100–1250 mm were prepared via sugar spheres-leaching process,which also had similar interconnecting structure determined by keeping the d/s ratio of interconnecting window diameter to macro-pore size constant.The permeability test showed that the seepage flow of fluid through the porous scaffolds increased with the increase of macro-pore sizes.The cell growth in three scaffolds was not affected by the macro-pore sizes.The in vivo ectopic implantation results indicated that the macro-pore sizes of HA scaffolds with the similar interconnecting structure have impact not only the speed of osteogenesis and angiogenesis but also the space distribution of newly formed bone.The scaffold with macro-pore sizes of 750–900 mm exhibited much faster angiogenesis and osteogenesis,and much more uniformly distribution of new bone than those with othermacro-pore sizes.This work illustrates the importance of a suitable macro-pore sizes in HA scaffolds with the similar interconnecting structure which provides the environment for ectopic osteogenesis and angiogenesis. | Jinyu Li Wei Zhi Taotao Xu Feng Shi Ke Duan JianxinWang Yandong Mu Jie Weng | 2016 | Regenerative Biomaterials2016,3,5: | 16 |
| 2 | Multi-sensor information fusion based control for VAV systems using thermal comfort constraints显示文摘The conventional control methods of variable air volume (VAV) air conditioning systems usually assume that the indoor air is well mixed, and consider each building zone as one node with homogeneous temperature distribution. The average temperature is subsequently used as the controlled parameter in the VAV cascade control process, which might cause uneven temperature distribution and unsatisfactory thermal comfort. This paper presents a coupled simulation of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and building energy simulation (BES) for the VAV system in an office building located in Shanghai for the purpose of simulating the building, the VAV control system, and indoor thermal environment simultaneously. An external interface is developed to integrate the CFD and BES models based on quasi-dynamic coupling approach. Based upon the developed co-simulation platform, the novel VAV control method is further proposed by fusing information from multiple sensors. By adding two temperature sensors to constrain the thermal comfort of the occupied zone, the supply air temperature setpoint of the VAV terminal unit can be reset in real time. The novel control method is embedded into the co-simulation platform and compared with the conventional VAV control approach. The results illustrate that the temperature distribution under the proposed method is more uniform. At most times of the typical test day, the air diffusion performance indexes (ADPIs) for the proposed method are above 80%, while the ADPIs for the conventional control method are between 60% and 80%. | 3 | Regional Metabolic Patterns of Abnormal Postoperative Behavioral Performance in Aged Mice Assessed by XH-NMR Dynamic Mapping Method显示文摘Abnormal postoperative neurobehavioral performance(APNP)is a common phenomenon in the early postoperative period.The disturbed homeostatic status of metabolites in the brain after anesthesia and surgery might make a significant contribution to APNP.The dynamic changes of metabolites in different brain regions after anesthesia and surgery,as well as their potential association with APNP are still not well understood.Here,we used a battery of behavioral tests to assess the effects of laparotomy under isoflurane anesthesia in aged mice,and investigated the metabolites in 12 different sub-regions of the brain at different time points using proton nuclear magnetic resonance('H-NMR)spectroscopy.The abnormal neurobehavioral performance occurred at 6 h and/or 9 h,and recovered at 24 h after anesthesia/surgery.Compared with the control group,the altered metabolite of the model group at 6 h was aspartate(Asp),and the difference was mainly displayed in the cortex;while significant changes at 9 h occurred predominantly in the cortex and hippocampus,and the corresponding metabolites were Asp and glutamate(Glu).All changes returned to baseline at 24 h.The altered metabolic changes could have occurred as a result of the acute APNP,and the metabolites Asp and Glu in the cortex and hippocampus could provide preliminary evidence for understanding the APNP process. | Taotao Liu Zhengqian Li Jindan He Ning Yang Dengyang Han Yue Li Xuebi Tian Huili Liu Anne Manyande Hongbing Xiang Fuqiang Xu Jie Wang Xiangyang Guo | 2020 | Neuroscience Bulletin2020,36,1: | 2 |
| 4 | Lab-in-cell based on spontaneous amino-yne click polymerization显示文摘Unnatural reaction in the living cells is a powerful tool for biological research. However, the polymerization inside cells is rarely reported. In this work, a lab-in-cell is illustrated based on our developed spontaneous amino-yne click polymerization. Carbonyl group activated terminal diyne can spontaneously polymerize with tetraphenylethene(TPE)-containing primary diamine inside cells, and polymer with weight-average molecular weight of 7,300 was yielded. By utilizing this in vivo amino-yne click polymerization and taking advantage of the aggregation-induced emission feature of TPE, a 'turn-on' cell imaging was realized,and in-situ killing of cells was also acquired by destroying the structures of actin and tubulin, which cannot be realized by preprepared polymer. | 9 | Controlled Synthesis of NaV_6O_(15) Nanorods with High Reversible Capacity and Excellent Cycling Stability显示文摘In this work, we demonstrate an effective method to improve capacitive performance of NaV_6O_(15) intrinsically by annealing. NaV_6O_(15) nanorods(NRs) prepared by a simple annealing treatment exhibit significantly improved electrochemical performance compared with the untreated NaV_6O_(15) electrode, and yield a high specific capacitance(402.8 F/g at 300 mA/g). Furthermore, the annealing treated nanorods show excellent rate capability and cycling stability(ca. 80% capacitance retention after 1000 cycles at a scan rate of100 mV/s). Our results have confirmed that the annealing treatment has great influence on the capacitive performance of NaV_6O_(15), which may be attributed to the intrinsic three dimensional(3D) tunneled structures of NaV_6O_(15), and NR morphology. | 11 | Scientific objectives of the Hot Universe Baryon Surveyor(HUBS) mission显示文摘The Hot Universe Baryon Surveyor(HUBS) is a proposed space-based X-ray telescope for detecting X-ray emissions from the hot gas content in our universe. With its unprecedented spatially-resolved high-resolution spectroscopy and large field of view,the HUBS mission will be uniquely qualified to measure the physical and chemical properties of the hot gas in the interstellar medium, the circumgalactic medium, the intergalactic medium, and the intracluster medium. These measurements will be valuable for two key scientific goals of HUBS, namely to unravel the AGN and stellar feedback physics that governs the formation and evolution of galaxies, and to probe the baryon budget and multi-phase states from galactic to cosmological scales. In addition to these two goals, the HUBS mission will also help us solve some problems in the fields of galaxy clusters, AGNs, difuse X-ray backgrounds, supernova remnants, and compact objects. | 13 | Seed-Assisted Synthesis and Catalytic Performance of Nano-sized ZSM-5 Aggregates in a One-Step Crystallization Process显示文摘Hierarchical nano-sized ZSM-5 aggregates were successfully synthesized via a seed-assisted method in the presence of cetyltrimethylammonium bromide(CTAB)through a facile one-step crystallization process.Commercial ZSM-5 zeolites with a SiO2/Al2O3 ratio comparable to that of ZSM-5 products were treated with alkali and used as the seed particles.The influences of crystallization conditions were investigated,and the possible synthesis mechanism was proposed.ZSM-5 zeolites with diff erent amounts of CTAB added were characterized using many techniques and evaluated in toluene alkylation with methanol.The results showed that a trace amount of CTAB signifi cantly promoted the crystallization of ZSM-5 zeolite,with the morphology changing from hexagonal-shape crystals to uniform spherical aggregates.CTAB may act as the structure-directing agent and assemble the primary crystallites to generate hierarchical ZSM-5 aggregates.The ZSM-5 zeolite with the smallest primary particles of 50-80 nm exhibited large specific surface area,abundant mesopores,and the greatest microporosity.The hierarchical nano-sized ZSM-5 aggregate showed higher toluene conversion and a longer lifetime without compromising the selectivity to xylene and p-xylene in toluene alkylation with methanol. | Ziyang Wang Yaquan Wang Chao Sun Aijuan Zhao Cui Wang Xu Zhang Jingjing Zhao Taotao Zhao Wenrong Liu Jiaxin Lu Shuhui Wu | 2020 | Transactions of Tianjin University2020,26,4: | 1 |

| 16 | Clinical Study on the Combination of Dingjing Pills and Risperidone in the Treatment of Patients with Schizophrenia Accompanied by Risky Behaviors显示文摘[Objectives]To observe the clinical efficacy of Dingjing Pills on patients with schizophrenia accompanied by risky behaviors.[Methods]Two hundred patients diagnosed with schizophrenia and risky behaviors were divided into two groups based on the random and double-blinded principle:the treatment group(100 cases)treated with Dingjing Pills combined with risperidone,and the control group(100 cases)treated with risperidone alone.The observation course was 6 weeks.The clinical efficacy was compared using brief psychiatric rating scale(BPRS),modified overt aggression scale(revised edition)(MAOS),treatment emergent symptom scale(TESS),and blood routine,liver function,kidney function,and electrocardiogram examinations were conducted.[Results]After treatment,Dingjing Pills significantly reduced the scores of brief psychiatric rating scale,modified overt aggression scale and treatment emergent symptom scale in patients with schizophrenia and dangerous behaviors,and had no significant toxic or side effects.The total effective rate in the treatment group was 88.8%,while the total effective rate in the control group was 77.1%.There was a significant difference in therapeutic efficacy between the two groups(P<0.05).[Conclusions]Dingjing Pills has an intervention and therapeutic effect on high-risk behaviors of schizophrenia,with minimal side effects and easy acceptance by patients. | Taotao XU Bin SHI | 2023 | Medicinal Plant2023,14,5: | 0 |

| 19 | Atmospheric oxidation capacity and O_(3) formation in a coastal city of southeast China:Results from simulation based on four-season observation显示文摘The pollution of atmospheric ozone in China shows an obvious upward trend in the past decade.However,the studies on the atmospheric oxidation capacity and O_(3)formation in four seasons in the southeastern coastal region of China with the rapid urbanization remain limited.Here,a four-season field observation was carried out in a coastal city of southeast China,using an observation-based model combining with the Master Chemical Mechanism,to explore the atmospheric oxidation capacity(AOC),radical chemistry,O_(3)formation pathways and sensitivity.The results showed that the average net O_(3)production rate(14.55 ppbv/hr)in summer was the strongest,but the average O_(3)concentrations in autumn was higher.The AOC and ROx levels presented an obvious seasonal pattern with the maximum value in summer,while the OH reactivity in winter was the highest with an average value of 22.75 sec^(-1).The OH reactivity was dominated by oxygenated VOCs(OVOCs)(30.6%-42.8%),CO(23.2%-26.8%),NO_(2)(13.6%-22.0%),and alkenes(8.4%-12.5%)in different seasons.HONO photolysis dominated OH primary source on daytime in winter,while in other seasons,HONO photolysis in the morning and ozone photolysis in the afternoon contributed mostly.Sensitivity analysis indicated that O_(3)production was controlled by VOCs in spring,autumn and winter,but a VOC-limited and NOx-limited regime in summer,and alkene and aromatic species were the major controlling factors to O_(3)formation.Overall,the study characterized the atmospheric oxidation capacity and elucidated the controlling factors for O_(3)production in the coastal area with the rapid urbanization in China. | Gaojie Chen Taotao Liu Jinsheng Chen Lingling Xu Baoye Hu Chen Yang Xiaolong Fan Mengren Li Youwei Hong Xiaoting Ji Jinfang Chen Fuwang Zhang | 2024 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2024,,2: | 0 |
| 20 | A buried submarine canyon in the northwest South China Sea:architecture,development processes and implications for hydrocarbon exploration显示文摘High-resolution multichannel seismic data enables the discovery of a previous,undocumented submarine canyon(Huaguang Canyon)in the Qiongdongnan Basin,northwest South China Sea.The Huaguang Canyon with a NW orientation is 140 km in length,and 2.5 km to 5 km in width in its upper reach and 4.6 km to 9.5 km in width in its lower reach.The head of the Huaguang Canyon is close to the Xisha carbonate platform and its tail is adjacent to the central canyon.This buried submarine canyon is formed by gravity flows from the Xisha carbonate platform when the sea level dropped in the early stage of the late Miocene(~10.5 Ma).The internal architecture of the Huaguang Canyon is mainly characterized by high amplitude reflections,indicating that this ancient submarine canyon was filled with coarse-grained sediments.The sediment was principally scourced from the Xisha carbonate platform.In contrast to other buried large-scale submarine canyons(central canyon and Zhongjian Canyon)in the Qiongdongnan Basin,the Huaguang Canyon displays later formation time,smaller width and length,and single sediment supply.The coarse-grained deposits within Huaguang Canyon provide a good environment for reserving oil and gas,and the muddy fillings in Huaguang Canyon have been identified as regional caps.Therefore,Huaguang Canyon is potential area for future hydrocarbon exploration in the northwest South China Sea.Our results may contribute to a better understanding of the evolution of submarine canyons formed in carbonate environment. | Bin Wang Fuliang Lyu Shuang Li Jian Li Zhili Yang Li Li Xuefeng Wang Yintao Lu Taotao Yang Jingwu Wu Guozhong Sun Hongxia Ma Xiaoyong Xu | 2021 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2021,40,3: | 0 |
