3Directional hydraulic fracturing to control hard-roof rockburst in coal mines显示文摘Hard roof is the main factor that induces rock-burst.In view of the present obvious weakness of control measures for hard roof rockburst in domestic collieries,the mechanism and field application of directional hydraulic fracturing technology for rock-burst prevention have been investigated in this paper using theoretical analysis and numerical simulation.The results show that the weighting span of the main roof and the released kinetic energy as well as the total elastic energy decreased greatly after the directional fracturing of hard roof with the mining progression,thereby reducing the rockburst hazard degree to coal body.The directional hydraulic fracturing technology was carried out in 6305 working face of Jisan Coal Mine to prevent rockburst.Field practices have proved that this technology is much simpler and safer to operate with better prevention effect compared with blasting.By optimizing the operation procedures and developing a new technology of automated high-pressure delivery pipe,the maximum fracturing radius now reaches more than 9 m and the borehole depth exceeds 20 m.Additionally,drilling cutting method was applied to monitor the stress of the coal mass before and after the fracturing,and the drill cuttings dropped significantly which indicates that the burst prevention effect of directional hydraulic fracturing technology is very remarkable.The research results of this paper have laid a theoretical and practical foundation for the widespread application of the directional hydraulic fracturing technology in China.Fan Jun Dou Linming He Hu Du Taotao Zhang Shibin Gui Bing Sun Xinglin 2012International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2012,22,2:28
4Genome-wide Analysis of Plant-specific Dof Transcription Factor Family in Tomato显示文摘The Dof (DNA binding with One Finger) family encoding single zinc finger proteins has been known as a family of plant-specific transcription factors. These transcription factors are involved in a variety of functions of importance for different biological processes in plants. In the current study, we identified 34 Dof family genes in tomato (Solanum lycopersicum L.), distributed on 11 chromosomes. A complete overview of SlDof genes in tomato is presented, including the gene structures, chromosome locations, phylogeny, protein motifs and evolution pattern. Phylogenetic analysis of 34 SlDof proteins resulted in four classes constituting six clusters. In addition, a comparative analysis between these genes in tomato, Arabidopsis (Arabidopsis thaliana L.) and rice (Oryza sativa L.) was also performed. The tomato Dof family expansion has been dated to recent duplication events, and segmental duplication is predominant for the SlDof genes. Furthermore, the SlDof genes displayed differential expression either in their transcript abundance or in their expression patterns under normal growth conditions. This is the first step towards genome-wide analyses of the Dof genes in tomato. 5A comparative study of the specific surface area and pore structure of different shales and their kerogens显示文摘The pore structures and controlling factors of several different Paleozoic shales from Southern China and their kerogens were studied using nitrogen adsorption and scanning electron microscopy methods. The results indicate that: 1) The specific surface area is 2.22–3.52 m2/g and has no correlation with the TOC content of the Permian Dalong Formation shales, nanopores are extremely undeveloped in the Dalong Formation kerogens, which have specific surface areas of 20.35–27.49 m2/g; 2) the specific surface area of the Silurian Longmaxi Formation shales is in the range of 17.83–29.49 m2/g and is positively correlated with TOC content, the kerogens from the Longmaxi Formation have well-developed nanopores, with round or elliptical shapes, and the specific surface areas of these kerogens are as high as 279.84–300.3 m2/g; 3) for the Niutitang Formation shales, the specific surface area is 20.12–29.49 m2/grock and increases significantly with increasing TOC and smectite content. The Niutitang Formation kerogens develop a certain amount of nanopores with a specific surface area of 161.2 m2/g. Oil shale was also examined for comparison, and was found to have a specific surface area of 19.99 m2/g. Nanopores are rare in the Youganwo Formation kerogen, which has a specific surface area of only 5.54 m2/g, suggesting that the specific surface area of oil shale is due mainly to the presence of smectite and other clay minerals. The specific surface area and the number of pores present in shales are closely related to TOC, kerogen type and maturity, smectite content, and other factors. Low-maturity kerogen has very few nanopores and therefore has a very low specific surface area, whereas nanopores are abundant in mature to over- mature kerogen, leading to high specific surface areas. The Longmaxi Formation kerogen has more developed nanopores and a higher specific surface area than the Niutitang Formation kerogen, which may be due to differences in the kerogen type and maceral components. A high content of smectite may also contribute to shale surface area. The pore volume and specific surface area of low-maturity kerogens are mainly attributable to pores with diameters above 10 nm. By contrast, the pore volume of mature kerogens consists predominantly of pores with diameters above 10 nm with some contribution from about 4 nm diameter pores, while the specific surface area is due mainly to pores with diameters of less than 4 nm. 6Ideal proportional navigation for exoatmospheric interception显示文摘Ideal proportional navigation (IPN) is a natural choice for exoatmospheric interception for its mighty capture capability and ease of implementation. The closed-form solution of two- dimensional ideal proportional navigation was conducted in previous public literature, whereas the practical interception happens in the three-dimensional space. A novel set of relative dynamic equations is adopted in this paper, which is with the advantage of decoupling relative motion in the instantaneous rotation plane of the line of sight from the rotation of this plane. The dimension-reduced IPN is constructed in this instantaneous plane, which functions as a three-dimensional guidance law. The trajectory features of dimension-reduced IPN are explored, and the capture regions of dimension-reduced IPN with limited acceleration against nonmaneuvering and maneuvering targets are analyzed by using phase plane method. It is proved that the capture capability of IPN is much stronger than true proportional navigation (TPN), no matter the target maneuvers or not. 7Ectopic osteogenesis and angiogenesis regulated by porous architecture of hydroxyapatite scaffolds with similar interconnecting structure in vivo显示文摘The macro-pore sizes of porous scaffold play a key role for regulating ectopic osteogenesis and angiogenesis but many researches ignored the influence of interconnection between macro-pores with different sizes.In order to accurately reveal the relationship between ectopic osteogenesis and macro-pore sizes in dorsal muscle and abdominal cavities of dogs,hydroxyapatite(HA)scaffolds with three different macro-pore sizes of 500–650,750–900 and 1100–1250 mm were prepared via sugar spheres-leaching process,which also had similar interconnecting structure determined by keeping the d/s ratio of interconnecting window diameter to macro-pore size constant.The permeability test showed that the seepage flow of fluid through the porous scaffolds increased with the increase of macro-pore sizes.The cell growth in three scaffolds was not affected by the macro-pore sizes.The in vivo ectopic implantation results indicated that the macro-pore sizes of HA scaffolds with the similar interconnecting structure have impact not only the speed of osteogenesis and angiogenesis but also the space distribution of newly formed bone.The scaffold with macro-pore sizes of 750–900 mm exhibited much faster angiogenesis and osteogenesis,and much more uniformly distribution of new bone than those with othermacro-pore sizes.This work illustrates the importance of a suitable macro-pore sizes in HA scaffolds with the similar interconnecting structure which provides the environment for ectopic osteogenesis and angiogenesis.Jinyu Li Wei Zhi Taotao Xu Feng Shi Ke Duan JianxinWang Yandong Mu Jie Weng 2016Regenerative Biomaterials2016,3,5:16
8Measurement and Correlation of Pressure Drop for Gas-Liquid Two-phase Flow in Rectangular Microchannels显示文摘The pressure drop of gas-liquid two-phase flow in microchannel is of fundamental importance in heat and mass transfer processes. In this work,the pressure drop of gas-liquid two-phase flow in horizontal rectangular cross-section microchannels was measured by a pressure differential transducer system. Water,ethanol and n-propanol were used as liquid phase to study the effects of capillary number on pressure drop;air was used as the gas phase. Four microchannels with various dimensions of 100 μm× 200 μm,100 μm× 400 μm,100 μm× 800 μm and 100 μm× 2000 μm(depth × width) were used for determining the influence of configuration on the pressure drop. Experimental results showed that in micro-scale,the capillary number also affected the pressure drop remarkably,and in spite of only one-fold difference in aspect ratio,the variation of pressure drop reached up to near three times under the same experimental conditions. 9ZmMs30 Encoding a Novel GDSL Lipase Is Essential for Male Fertility and Valuable for Hybrid Breeding in Maize显示文摘Genic male sterility (GMS) is very useful for hybrid vigor utilization and hybrid seed production. Although a large number of GMS genes have been identified in plants, little is known about the roles of GDSL lipase members in anther and pollen development. Here, we report a maize GMS gene, ZmMs30, which encodes a novel type of GDSL lipase with diverged catalytic residues. Enzyme kinetics and activity assays show that ZmMs30 has lipase activity and prefers to substrates with a short carbon chain. ZmMs30 is specifically expressed in maize anthers during stages 7-9. Loss of ZmMs30 function resulted in defective anther cuticle, irregular foot layer of pollen exine, and complete male sterility. Cytological and lipidomics analyses demonstrate that ZmMs30 is crucial for the aliphatic metabolic pathway required for pollen exine formation and anther cuticle development. Furthermore, we found that male sterility caused by loss of ZmMs30 function was stable in various inbred lines with different genetic background, and that it didn't show any negative effect on maize heterosis and production, suggesting that ZmMs30 is valuable for crossbreeding and hybrid seed production. We then developed a new multi-control sterility system using ZmMs30 and its mutant line, and demonstrated it is feasible for generating desirable GMS lines and valu. able for hybrid maize seed production. 11Failure mechanism and control technology of water-immersed roadway in high-stress and soft rock in a deep mine显示文摘Aiming at soft rock ground support issues under conditions of high stress and long-term water immersion, the ground failure mechanism is revealed by taking the deep-water sumps of Jiulong Mine as the engineering background and employing field investigation, tests of rock structure, mechanical properties and mineral composition. The main factors leading to the surrounding rock failure include the high and complex stress state of the water sumps, high-clay content and water-weakened rock, and the unreasonable support design. In this paper, the broken and fractured rock mass near roadway opening is considered as ground small-structure, and deep stable rock mass as ground large-structure. A support technology focusing on cutting off the water, strengthening the small structure of the rock and transferring the large structure of the rock is proposed. The proposed support technology of interconnecting the large and small structures, based on high-strength bolts, high-stiffness shotcrete layer plugging water,strengthening the small structure with deep-hole grouting and shallow-hole grouting, highpretensioned cables tensioned twice to make the large and small structures bearing the pressure evenly,channel-steel and high-pretensioned cables are used to control floor heave. 13Impacts of nitrogen and zeolite managements on yield and physicochemical properties of rice grain显示文摘Zeolite(Z)can hold soil water and nutrient to obtain a higher yield on introduction into moist soil.However,the effects of Z and nitrogen(N)managements on rice grain quality is unclear.Therefore,the effects of different amounts of Z(Z0:0 t/hm^(2);Z0.9 and Z0.22:10 t/hm^(2)in different particle sizes of 0.45-0.9 mm and 0.17-0.22 mm in diameter)and N(N0,N52.5,N105,N157.5:0 kg/hm^(2),52.5 kg/hm^(2),105 kg/hm^(2),157.5 kg/hm^(2)),and Z(Z0,Z10:0 t/hm^(2),10 t/hm^(2))and application frequencies of N on rice yield and grain quality were investigated in 2014 and 2015 in Northeast coastal region of China where Z10 was extended to use in large areas.Results showed that both N and Z applications significantly increased the yields of rough rice(RRY),brown rice,milled rice and head rice.However,there was no significant difference between Z0.9 and Z0.22.The chalkiness area,length-width ratio and head rice rate were not influenced by Z and N applications.However,Z application significantly decreased the chalk rate and slightly increased amylose content(AC)but mattered little to taste value(TV)of rice and rice cooking quality.N could significantly increase rice protein content(PC)but lessen the TV and breakdown value;the order of influence degree on rice yield increasing was as follows:CRF2(third-split fertilization with Z10),CRF1(basal fertilization one time with Z10),U2(urea:third-split fertilization without Z)and U1(basal fertilization one time without Z).Both CRF1 and CRF2 greatly enhanced the RRY.However,CRF1 was recommended for clear decrease in labor and fuel for growers.Compared with treatments of U1 and CRF1,CRF2 and U2 significantly decreased the AC.PC exhibited significant negative relation to TV and greatly determined the rice eating quality and cooking quality.Wu Qi Xia Guimin Chen Taotao Chi Daocai Jin Ye Sun Dehuan 2016International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2016,9,5:10
14Normal Structure and Function of Endothecium Chloroplasts Maintained by ZmMs33-Mediated Lipid Biosynthesis in Tapetal Cells Are Critical for Anther Development in Maize显示文摘Genic male sterility(GMS)is critical for heterosis utilization and hybrid seed production.Although GMS mutants and genes have been studied extensively in plants,it has remained unclear whether chloroplast-associated photosynthetic and metabolic activities are involved in the regulation of anther development.In this study,we characterized the function of ZmMs33/ZmGPAT6,which encodes a member of the glycerol-3-phosphate acyltransferase(GPAT)family that catalyzes the first step of the glycerolipid synthetic pathway.We found that normal structure and function of endothecium(En)chloroplasts maintained by ZmMs33-mediated lipid biosynthesis in tapetal cells are crucial for maize anther development.ZmMs33 is expressed mainly in the tapetum at early anther developmental stages and critical for cell proliferation and expansion at late stages.Chloroplasts in En cells of wild-type anthers function as starch storage sites before stage 10 but as photosynthetic factories since stage 10 to enable starch metabolism and carbohydrate supply.Loss of ZmMs33 function inhibits the biosynthesis of glycolipids and phospholipids,which are major components of En chloroplast membranes,and disrupts the development and function of En chloroplasts,resulting in the formation of abnormal En chloroplasts containing numerous starch granules.Further analyses reveal that starch synthesis during the day and starch degradation at night are greatly suppressed in the mutant anthers,leading to carbon starvation and low energy status,as evidenced by low trehalose-6-phosphate content and a reduced ATP/AMP ratio.The energy sensor and inducer of autophagy,SnRK1,was activated to induce early and excessive autophagy,premature PCD,and metabolic reprogramming in tapetal cells,finally arresting the elongation and development of mutant anthers.Taken together,our results not only show that ZmMs33 is required for normal structure and function of En chloroplasts but also reveal that starch metabolism and photosynthetic activities of En chloroplasts at different developmental stages are essential for normal anther development.These findings provide novel insights for understanding how lipid biosynthesis in the tapetum,the structure and function of En chloroplasts,and energy and substance metabolism are coordinated to maintain maize anther development.Taotao Zhu Ziwen Li Xueli An Yan Long Xiaofeng Xue Ke Xie Biao Ma Danfeng Zhang Yijian Guan Canfang Niu Zhenying Dong Quancan Hou Lina Zhao Suowei Wu Jinping Li Weiwei Jin Xiangyuan Wan 2020Molecular Plant2020,13,11:9

17Text Semantics Based Automatic Summarization for Chinese Videos显示文摘This paper is concerned with the task of automatically summarizing videos, which is important for many video-related applications. Examples include video retrieval, accessing and categorization, et al. Our approach summarizes video semantically from the texts embedded in videos. To improve the accuracy, ant colony algorithm,maximum matching method, Singular value decomposition(SVD) are employed for locating text region, segmenting words and clustering sentences, respectively. Based on these methods, a prototype is developed. 18Neurological manifestations of patients with COVID-19:potential routes of SARS-CoV-2 neuroinvasion from the periphery to the brain显示文摘Coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19),caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2),has caused a global pandemic in only 3 months.In addition to major respiratory distress,characteristic neurological manifestations are also described,indicating that SARS-CoV-2 may be an underestimated opportunistic pathogen of the brain.Based on previous studies of neuroinvasive human respiratory coronaviruses,it is proposed that after physical contact with the nasal mucosa,laryngopharynx,trachea,lower respiratory tract,alveoli epithelium,or gastrointestinal mucosa,SARS-CoV-2 can induce intrinsic and innate immune responses in the host involving increased cytokine release,tissue damage,and high neurosusceptibility to COVID-19,especially in the hypoxic conditions caused by lung injury.In some immunecompromised individuals,the virus may invade the brain through multiple routes,such as the vasculature and peripheral nerves.Therefore,in addition to drug treatments,such as pharmaceuticals and traditional Chinese medicine,non-pharmaceutical precautions,including facemasks and hand hygiene,are critically important.Zhengqian Li Taotao Liu Ning Yang Dengyang Han Xinning Mi Yue Li Kaixi Liu Alain Vuylsteke Hongbing Xiang Xiangyang Guo 2020Frontiers of Medicine2020,14,5:5
19SHY2 as a node in the regulation of root meristem development by auxin, brassinosteroids, and cytokinin显示文摘In multicellular organisms,the balance be-tween cell division and differentiation determines organ size,and represents a central unknown in devel-opmental biology.In Arabidopsis roots,this balance is mediated between cytokinin and auxin through a reg-ulatory circuit converging on the IAA3/SHORT HYPO-COTYL 2(SHY2)gene.Here,we show that crosstalk between brassinosteroids(BRs)and auxin occurs in the vascular transition zone to promote root meristem de-velopment.We found that BR increases root meristem size by up-regulating expression of the PINFORMED 7(PIN7)gene and down-regulating expression of the SHY2 gene.In addition,BES1 could directly bind to the pro-moter regions of both PIN7 and SHY2,indicating that PIN7 and SHY2 mediate the BR-induced growth of the root meristem by serving as direct targets of BES1.Moreover,the PIN7 overexpression and loss-of-function SHY2 mutant were sensitive to the effects of BR and could partially suppress the short-root phenotypes associated with deficient BR signaling.Interestingly,BRs could inhibit the accumulation of SHY2 protein in response to cytokinin.Taken together,these findings suggest that a complex equilibrium model exists in which regulatory interactions among BRs,auxin,and cytokinin regulate optimal root growth.Taotao Li Xinke Kang Wei Lei Xiuhong Yao Lijuan Zou Dawei Zhang Honghui Lin 2020Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2020,62,10:5
20In situ observation of C_(60)(C(COOH)_(2))_(2) interacting with living cells using fluorescence microscopy显示文摘The interactions between nanoparticles and living cells were investigated by an imaging technique of fluorescence microscopy. For this pur- pose, the C60 derivative C60(C(COOH)2)2, a thera- peutic agent for degeneration diseases of central nervous system, was synthesized, purified and characterized. Its interaction with the living cell and penetration of the cellular membrane were in situ studied using the real time imaging technique, and its potential cytotoxicity was also examined by flow cy- tometry. The results indicate that C60(C(COOH)2)2 can easily enter cells, and is mainly located in cytoplasm by fluorescein labeling. Furthermore, C60(C(COOH)2)2 can carry the molecule that cannot cross cellular membranes into cells, because fluo- rescein compound itself cannot enter the cell or ad- here to membrane.
