| 2 | Monitoring micro-structural evolution during aluminum sintering and understanding the sintering mechanism of aluminum nanoparticles:A molecular dynamics study显示文摘In this work, molecular dynamics simulations have been performed to explore the structural evolution and underlying sintering mechanism of aluminum nanoparticles. The structural evolution during sintering was firstly monitored through radial distribution function and atomic migration, and the underlying sintering mechanism was further quantitatively characterized in terms of average displacement, mean squared distance(MSD), radius ratio(i.e., the ratio of the neck radius to the particle radius), shrinkage and radius of gyration, crystalline orientations, particle size, etc. Results show that the surface atoms of nanoparticles are more active than the internal atoms, favoring the mechanical rotation of nanoparticles during sintering. During the sintering process, average displacement, radius ratio and the shrinkage rate have undergone three stages with increasing the temperature:(1) a slow increase and subsequent abrupt hike after reaching the sintering temperature;(2) an almost plateau region over a wide span of temperature;(3) finally a sharp increase again after reaching the melting temperature. In contrast, MSD remains basically unchanged before melting, close to zero, followed by a sudden increase after melting temperature. Although the radius of gyration also experiences three stages, nonetheless it exhibits almost completely contrary trend. It has also been found that both sintering temperature and melting temperature demonstrate an almost linear increase with the increase of nanoparticle size ranging from4.0, 6.0, 8.0 to 10.0 nm in diameter. | 7 | A new global gridded sea surface temperature product constructed from infrared and microwave radiometer data using the optimum interpolation method显示文摘A new 0.1° gridded daily sea surface temperature(SST) data product is presented covering the years 2003–2015. It is created by fusing satellite SST data retrievals from four microwave(Wind Sat, AMSR-E, ASMR2 and HY-2 A RM)and two infrared(MODIS and AVHRR) radiometers(RMs) based on the optimum interpolation(OI) method. The effect of including HY-2 A RM SST data in the fusion product is studied, and the accuracy of the new SST product is determined by various comparisons with moored and drifting buoy measurements. An evaluation using global tropical moored buoy measurements shows that the root mean square error(RMSE) of the new gridded SST product is generally less than 0.5℃. A comparison with US National Data Buoy Center meteorological and oceanographic moored buoy observations shows that the RMSE of the new product is generally less than 0.8℃. A comparison with measurements from drifting buoys shows an RMSE of 0.52–0.69℃. | 8 | Status of transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt for portal hypertension in China:A national survey analysis显示文摘Aim:The transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt(TIPS)procedure has been performed in China for 30 years,but our understanding of the status and difficulties associated with the use of TIPS for portal hypertension is incomplete.This study aims to investigate the current situation of the use of TIPS for portal hypertension,which should aid the development of TIPS in China.Methods:This study involved a questionnaire survey,initiated by the China Portal Hypertension Alliance(CHESS)to investigate the use of TIPS for portal hypertension in China.Questionnaires were released on the Internet between August 16,2022 and September 16,2022.Detailed information was collected from 545 hospitals contracted by the CHESS in China,which performed TIPS surgery in 2021.Results:The 545 hospitals covers the majority of hospitals in China that conduct TIPS intervention.In the survey,a total of 13,527 TIPS interventions were carried out with 94.1%(498/545)of them had a system of routine follow‐up after TIPS.The majority(42.6%[232/545])believed that the main indication of TIPS was the control of acute bleeding.Overall,48.1%(262/545)carried out early or pre‐emptive TIPS,53.0%(289/545)carried out TIPS for cavernous transformation of the portal vein,and 81.0%(441/545)chose routine embolization of collateral circulation during operation.Most used coils(97.0%[475/490])and biological glue(72.0%[353/490])as embolic materials,and 78.5%(428/545)routinely performed intraoperative portal pressure gradient measurements.When selecting TIPS stents,57.1%(311/545)chose viator‐specific stents,and 57.2%(312/545)chose conventional anticoagulation after TIPS.Conventional anticoagulation after TIPS is over a time interval of 3–6 months(55.4%[173/312]).The limitation of TIPS surgery is mainly its cost(72.3%[394/545])and insufficient understanding of the procedure by doctors in other related departments(77.4%[422/545]).Most of the hospital teams accept the use of domestic instruments in TIPS surgery(92.7%[505/545]).Conclusions:This survey shows that TIPS is an essential part of the treatment of portal hypertension in China.TIPS is widely used in Chinese patients with portal hypertension,and this survey presents a more comprehensive picture of the options and difficulties encountered in the implementation of TIPS.In the future,it is necessary to promote TIPS technology and further standardize surgical indications,routine operations,and instrument application. | Haibo Shao Xinwei Han Jianbo Zhao Junhui Sun Zhuting Fang Bin Xiong Xiaoli Zhu Weixin Ren Min Yuan Shiping Yu Meng Niu Weifu Lv Xueqiang Zhang Chunqing Zhang Lei Li Xuefeng Luo Yusheng Song Yilong Ma Tong Dang Hua Xiang Yun Jin Hui Xue Guiyun Jin Xiao Li Jiarui Li Shi Zhou Changlu Yu Song He Lei Yu Hongmei Zu Jun Ma Yanming Lei Ke Xu Xiaolong Qi | 2023 | Portal Hypertension & Cirrhosis2023,2,1: | 0 |
| 9 | Spatiotemporal characteristics of sea ice transport in the Baffin Bay and its association with atmospheric variability显示文摘Sea ice export through the Baffin Bay plays a vital role in modulating the sea ice cover variability in the Labrador Sea.In this study,satellite-derived sea ice products are used to obtain the sea ice area flux(SIAF)through the three passages in the Baffin Bay(referred to as A,B,and C for the north,middle,and south passages,respectively).The spatial variability of the monthly sea ice drift in the Baffin Bay is presented.The interannual variability and trends in SIAF via the three passages are outlined.The connection to several large-scale atmospheric circulation modes is assessed.Over the period of 1988-2015,the average annual(October to the following September)SIAF amounts to 555×10^(3) km^(2),642×10^(3) km^(2),and 551×10^(3) km^(2) through Passages A,B,and C,respectively.These quantities are less than that observed through the Fram Strait(FS,707×10^(3) km^(2))of the corresponding period.The positive trends in annual SIAF,on the order of 53.1×10^(3) km^(2)/(10 a)and 43.2×10^(3) km^(2)/(10 a)(significant at the 95%confidence level),are identified at Passages A and B,respectively.The trend of the south passage(C),however,is slightly negative(-13.3×10^(3) km^(2)/(10 a),not statistically significant).The positive trends in annual SIAF through the Passages A and B are primarily attributable to the significant increases after 2000.The connection between the Baffin Bay sea ice export and the North Atlantic Oscillation is not significant over the studied period.By contrast,the association with the cross-gate sea level pressure difference is robust in the Baffin Bay(R equals 0.69 to 0.71,depending on the passages considered),but relatively weaker than that over FS(R=0.74). | Weifu Sun Haibo Bi Min Fu Xi Liang Yunhe Wang Yu Liang Jue Huang Haijun Huang Liwen Yan Qinglong Yu Shuang Liang | 2021 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2021,40,3: | 0 |
| 10 | Tailoring impedance match and enhancing microwave absorption of Fe_3O_4/Bi_(24)Fe_2O_(39)/Bi hollow porous microrods by controlling their composition显示文摘A self-assembly/precipitate conversion/decomposition process was developed for the controllable synthesis of Fe_3O_4/Bi_(24)Fe_2O_(39)/Bi hollow porous microrods(HPMRs).The results demonstrated that the crystal size,component,and performances of HPMRs could be effectively modulated via changing Fe^(2+)/Bi^(3+)molar ratio(γ).Fe_3O_4/Bi_(24)Fe_2O_(39)/Bi HPMRs exhibited ferromagnetic behavior at room temperature.As Bi and Bi_(24)Fe_2O_(39)contents increased withγ,the saturation magnetization M_sand attenuation constantly decreased,whereas coercivity H_cand impedance matching ratio increased.Compounding Fe_3O_4with small quantities of Bi and Bi_(24)Fe_2O_(39)into HPMRs can significantly enhance microwave absorption.Fe_3O_4/Bi_(24)Fe_2O_(39)/Bi HPMRs formed atγ=1:0.25 exhibited the optimum microwave absorption performance.The minimum R_Lwas-47.3 dB at8.72 GHz,corresponding to 2.4 mm sample thickness.The absorption band with the reflection loss below-20 dB was up to 14.0 GHz for the absorber with a thickness of 1.4-8.0 mm.The results demonstrate that the introduction of electromagnetic transparent materials(Bi_(24)Fe_2O_(39)or Bi)can improve the microwave absorption performances of Fe_3O_4 composites owing to enhanced impedance matching rather than attenuation constant. | Lin Liu Na He Jiacheng Sun Panbing Hu Rujia He Jinxiu Cheng Weifu Tian Guoxiu Tong | 2018 | Progress in Natural Science:Materials International2018,28,5: | 0 |
| 11 | Atomic insights into synergistic effect of pillared graphene by carbon nanotube on the mechanical properties of polymer nanocomposites显示文摘Molecular dynamics simulations have been performed to explore the underlying synergistic mechanism of pillared graphene or non-covalent connected graphene and carbon nanotubes(CNTs) on the mechanical properties of polyethylene(PE) nanocomposites. By constructing the pillared graphene model and CNTs/graphene model, the effect of the structure, arrangement and dispersion of hybrid fillers on the tensile mechanical properties of PE nanocomposites was studied. The results show that the pillared graphene/PE nanocomposites exhibit higher Young’s modulus, tensile strength and elongation at break than non-covalent connected CNTs/graphene/PE nanocomposites. The pull-out simulations show that pillared graphene by CNTs has both large interfacial load and long displacement due to the mixed modes of shear separation and normal separation.
