| 1 | A Novel Combinatorics-Based Reconfigurable Bit Permutation Network and Its Circuit Implementation显示文摘Bit permutation is an important operation in many applications. A novel reconfigurable N × N bit permutation network with a compact structure is presented. It is based on combinatorics theory by cascading two recursive N/2 × N/2 sub-networks, while each subnetwork is cascaded by two N/4 × N/4 sub-networks, and so on cascaded until reaching the elementary 4 × 4 seed networks. Its routing algorithm is also established to determine each multiplexor's status. Then the circuits of different sized permutation networks in a reconfigurable cipher co-processor were designed and implemented in 0.18μm CMOS process. The proposed circuit can achieve an arbitrary n × n permutation and support all types of bit permutations in many cryptographic algorithms. | 2 | Changes of Extreme Precipitation and its Associated Mechanisms in Northwest China显示文摘Characterized by scarce water resources and fragile ecosystems,Northwest China(NWC)has experienced a climate shift from warm-dry to warm-wet conditions since the 1980s that has garnered extensive concern in recent years.In this study,the variability in extreme precipitation(EP)during 1961-2016 in different climate zones of NWC and the possible mechanisms for this variation are investigated.The results show that the EP trends significantly increased in most of the westerly zone(WZ)and plateau zone(PZ),while the EP trends did not significantly decrease in the monsoon zone(MZ).The start dates of extreme precipitation(SDEP)and end dates of extreme precipitation(EDEP)advanced and were postponed,respectively,in the WZ and PZ,while the opposite occurred in the MZ.Summer atmospheric circulation,water vapor transport,and atmospheric instability over NWC varied greatly with the interdecadal shift in EP before and after 1986.During 1986-2016,upper-level divergence and lower-level convergence occurred in the MZ and PZ,which strengthened ascending flow.In addition,the summer water vapor and atmospheric instability increased in the WZ and PZ.These characteristics created favorable conditions for increased occurrences of EP in the WZ and PZ in summer.Conversely,the upper-level convergence and lower-level divergence in the MZ strengthened descending flow.Decreases in summer water vapor and atmospheric instability occurred in the MZ after 1986.Hence,the environmental conditions in the MZ may have prevented the occurrence and development of EP in summer during 1986-2016. | Shan LU Zeyong HU Haipeng YU Weiwei FAN Chunwei FU Di WU | 2021 | Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2021,38,10: | 4 |

| 6 | An Ultra Low Steady-State Current Power-on-Reset Circuit in 65nm CMOS Technology显示文摘A novel Power-on-reset(POR) circuit is proposed with ultra-low steady-state current consumption. A band-gap voltage comparator is used to generate a stable pull-up voltage. To eliminate the large current consumptions of the analog part, a power switch is adopted to cut the supply of band-gap voltage comparator, which gained ultra-low current consumption in steady-state after the POR rest process completed. The state of POR circuit is maintained through a state latch circuit. The whole circuit was designed and implemented in 65 nm CMOS technology with an active area of 120μm*160μm. Experimental results show that it has a steady pull-up voltage of 0.69 V and a brown-out voltage of 0.49 V under a 1.2V supply voltage rising from 0V, plus its steady-state current is only9 n A.
