1Downregulation of serum mi R-17 and mi R-106b levels in gastric cancer and benign gastric diseases显示文摘Altered micro RNA(mi RNA) associated with gastric cancer(GC) development and mi R-17 and mi R-106 b were differentially expressed in GC tissues. This study detected serum levels of mi R-17 and mi R-106 b expression in GC, benign gastric disease(BGD) and healthy controls to assess them as tumor markers for GC. Serum samples from 40 GC, 32 BGD(10 gastric ulcer, 14 gastric polyps, and 8 gastric ulcer with polyps) and 36 healthy individuals were subjected to quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction(q RT-PCR) analysis of mi R-17 and mi R-106 b expression. The data showed that the serum levels of mi R-17 and mi R-106 b were significantly reduced in healthy individuals and BGD patients compared to GC patients. There was a significant association of mi R-17 and mi R-106 b expression with age, but not with other clinicopathological features, such as gender, tumor differentiation, stage and lymphatic metastasis. Further analysis showed that, in discriminating GC patients from healthy controls, mi R-17 could yield a receiver-operating characteristic(ROC) area under the curve(AUC) of 0.879 with 80.6% sensitivity and 87.5% specificity and mi R-106 b could yield an AUC of 0.856 with 75.0% sensitivity and 92.5% specificity. The combined AUC of mi R-17 and mi R-106 b was 0.913 with 83.3% sensitivity and 87.5% specificity. 2ViWoSG:A distributed scene graph of ultra-massive distributed virtual environments显示文摘An ultra-massive distributed virtual environment generally consists of ultra-massive terrain data and a large quantity of objects and their attribute data, such as 2D/3D geometric models, audio/video, images, vectors, characteristics, etc. In this paper, we propose a novel method for constructing distributed scene graphs with high extensibility. This method can support high concurrent interaction of clients and implement various tasks such as editing, querying, accessing and motion controlling. 3Efficient CO_(2) electroreduction over N-doped hieratically porous carbon derived from petroleum pitch显示文摘Developing of economic and efficient catalysts is critical for the application of electroreduction of carbon dioxide to highly valuable chemicals.Herein,we present a facile method to synthesize N-doped hieratically porous carbon through pyrolysis of petroleum pitch followed by ammonia etching.We found mesopores are favored formation by removing of asphaltene from petroleum pitch during the carbonation process.Simultaneously,ammonia etching can not only increase the pyridinic-N content,but also upgrade the ratio of meso-to micro-pores of carbon materials.Using the N-doped hieratically porous carbon as catalyst for carbon dioxide electroreduction,the Faradaic efficiency of carbon monoxide reaches 83%at-0.9 V vs.the reversible hydrogen electrode(RHE)in 0.1 M KHCO_(3).This superior performance is attributed to the synergistic effects of highly pyridinic-N content in conjunction with the hieratically porous architecture,rendering abundant exposed and accessible active sites for electroreduction of CO_(2).Our work provides a new strategy for the large-scale preparation of high-performance,low-cost catalysts for CO_(2) electroreduction.Hui Ning Dianliang Guo Xiaoshan Wang Zhonghao Tan Wenhang Wang Zhongxue Yang Linqing Li Qingshan Zhao Jian Hao Mingbo Wu 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,5:3
4Flotation of copper oxide minerals:A review显示文摘Copper oxide minerals are important copper resources,which include malachite,azurite,chrysocolla,cuprite,etc.Flotation is the most widely used method for the enrichment of copper oxide minerals in the mineral processing industry.In this paper,the surface properties of copper oxide minerals and their effects on the mineral flotation behavior are systematically summarized.The flotation methods of copper oxide minerals and the interaction mechanism with reagents are reviewed in detail.Flotation methods include direct flotation(using chelating reagents or a fatty acid as collector),sulfidization flotation(using xanthate as collector),and activation flotation(using chelating reagents,ammonium/amine salts,metal ions,and oxidant for activation).An effective way to realize efficient flotation of copper oxide minerals is to increase active sites on the surface of copper oxide minerals to enhance the interaction of collector with the mineral surface.Besides,various perspectives for further investigation on the efficient recovery of copper oxide minerals are proposed.Qicheng Feng Wenhang Yang Shuming Wen Han Wang Wenjuan Zhao Guang Han 2022International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2022,32,6:2
5Fabrication and characterization of microfibrillated cellulose and collagen composite films显示文摘Microfibrillated cellulose(MFC)-collagen composite films were prepared with a dispersion of acid swollen collagen fibers and carboxylated MFC at different ratios in an alkaline homogenous system.The surface topographic results obtained from SEM analyses indicated that the MFC entangled uniformly with collagen in the film and formed a closely interwoven network to reinforce the film structure.However,the MFC addition decreased the smoothness and light transparency of the films due to the aggregation of MFC.Compared to the film prepared with pure collagen,the hybrid composite film showed a higher strength and Young’s modulus but lower elongation.The swelling of the composite film in water increased with the increase of the MFC ratio in the film matrix.DSC and TG analyses demonstrated that adding MFC to collagen benefited the thermal stability of the films,due to the conformational and crystal changes in the MFC/collagen structure indicated by the FT-IR and XRD results.The MFC/collagen composite film can potentially be used as an edible material in the food and packaging industry,in particular for meat products.Wenhang Wang Yabin Wang Yanan Wang Xiaowei Zhang Xiao Wang Guixian Gao 2016Journal of Bioresources and Bioproducts2016,1,4:2

13Advances in depressants for flotation separation of Cu–Fe sulfide minerals at low alkalinity:A critical review显示文摘The flotation separation of Cu–Fe sulfide minerals at low alkalinity can be achieved using selective depressants.In the flotation system of Cu–Fe sulfide minerals,depressants usually preferentially interact with the pyrite surface to render the mineral surface hydrophilic and hinder the adsorption of the collector.This review summarizes the advances in depressants for the flotation separation of Cu–Fe sulfide minerals at low alkalinity.These advances include use of inorganic depressants (oxidants and sulfur–oxygen compounds),natural polysaccharides (starch,dextrin,konjac glucomannan,and galactomannan),modified polymers (carboxymethyl cellulose,polyacrylamide,lignosulfonate,and tricarboxylate sodium starch),organic acids (polyglutamic acid,sodium humate,tannic acid,pyrogallic acid,salicylic acid,and lactic acid),sodium dimethyl dithiocarbamate,and diethylenetriamine.The potential application of specific inorganic and organic depressants in the flotation separation of Cu–Fe sulfide minerals at low alkalinity is reviewed.The advances in the use of organic depressants with respect to the flotation separation of Cu–Fe sulfide minerals are comprehensively detailed.Additionally,the depression performances and mechanisms of different types of organic depressants on mineral surfaces are summarized.Finally,several perspectives on depressants vis-à-vis flotation separation of Cu–Fe sulfide minerals at low alkalinity are proposed.Qicheng Feng Wenhang Yang Maohan Chang Shuming Wen Dianwen Liu Guang Han 2024International Journal of Minerals,Metallurgy and Materials2024,31,1:0
14Effects of a closed-loop system against SARS-CoV-2 at the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games:a descriptive and modeling study显示文摘BACKGROUND:To assess the efficacy of the epidemic prevention measures of the“closed-loop”system adopted by the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games(BOWG).METHODS:We retrospectively collected and analyzed information,including age,sex,nationality,vaccination status,date of diagnosis,and date of entry,from 280 SARS-CoV-2-positive individuals identified during the BOWG.A susceptibility-exposed-infectious-remove model was employed to evaluate the effectiveness of epidemic prevention strategies on controlling the spread of SARS-CoV-2 under different scenarios during the BOWG.RESULTS:Regarding SARS-CoV-2-positive cases,97.9%were imported,and 96.4%were asymptomatic.The median age was 37 years(range:29–47 years),and 73.9%were male,with the majority of cases being broadcasters and European attendees.Regarding vaccination status,93.5%were fully vaccinated,and six cases were considered to have been infected in the closed-loop system during the BOWG.Assuming that the BOWG adopted a semi-closed-loop management system,the cumulative number of confirmed cases would be 1,137 for quick quarantine measures(3 d later)implemented and 5,530 for delayed quarantine measures(9 d later)implemented.This modeling revealed that stringent pandemic prevention measures and closed-loop management effectively controlled the spread of SARS-CoV-2 during the BOWG.CONCLUSION:Imported cases are considered the main risk factor for SARS-CoV-2 transmission during mass gatherings,but a comprehensive closed-loop system could minimize transmission among attendees and general personnel.Rong Xiong Jieping Zhou Wenning Li Jie Liu Jing Lou Sijia Tian Huixin Lian Shengmei Niu Luxi Zhang Wenhang Li Jinjun Zhang 2023World Journal of Emergency Medicine2023,14,6:0
15Deep reinforcement learning and 3D physical environments applied to crowd evacuation in congested scenarios显示文摘To avoid crowd evacuation simulations depending on 2D environments and real data,we propose a framework for crowd evacuation modeling and simulation by applying deep reinforcement learning(DRL)and 3D physical environments(3DPEs).In 3DPEs,we construct simulation scenarios from the aspects of geometry,semantics and physics,which include the environment,the agents and their interactions,and provide training samples for DRL.In DRL,we design a double branch feature extraction combined actor and critic network as the DRL policy and value function and use a clipped surrogate objective with polynomial decay to update the policy.With a unified configuration,we conduct evacuation simulations.In scenarios with one exit,we reproduce and verify the bottleneck effect of congested crowds and explore the impact of exit width and agent characteristics(number,mass and height)on evacuation.In scenarios with two exits and a uniform(nonuniform)distribution of agents,we explore the impact of exit characteristics(width and relative position)and agent characteristics(height,initial location and distribution)on agent exit selection and evacuation.Overall,interactive 3DPEs and unified DRL enable agents to adapt to different evacuation scenarios to simulate crowd evacuation and explore the laws of crowd evacuation.Dong Zhang Wenhang Li Jianhua Gong Guoyong Zhang Jiantao Liu Lin Huang Heng Liu Haonan Ma 2023International Journal of Digital Earth2023,16,1:0

17Recent advancements and perspectives of the CO_(2)hydrogenation reaction显示文摘Owing to excessive carbon dioxide(CO_(2))emissions,which cause severe environmental issues,the conversion and utilization of CO_(2)have received increasing attention.Owing to its high efficiency and potential for industrial applications,converting CO_(2)into high value-added chemicals via thermocatalytic hydrogenation is a highly effective route among electrocatalytic,photocatalytic,and thermocatalytic CO_(2)conversion.In the past two decades,our group has developed novel CO_(2)hydrogenation technologies to produce chemicals such as aliphatic hydrocarbons,methanol(MeOH),ethanol,and aromatics(especially para-xylene,PX).In this review,we summarize the strategy for CO_(2)hydrogenation conversion and the novel rational design of catalysts,including low-temperature MeOH synthesis and capsule catalysts for tandem catalysis.We also discuss the challenges and opportunities of CO_(2)hydrogenation,such as CO_(2)capture,H2 prices,and carbon taxes.We hope to inspire new ideas for CO_(2)hydrogenation to produce high value-added chemicals through the design of catalysts and the exploration of reaction paths.Wenhang Wang Chunyang Zeng Noritatsu Tsubaki 2023Green Carbon2023,1,2:0
18Improved Cubemap model for 3D navigation in geo-virtual reality显示文摘Due to advances in rendering techniques and hardware capability,stereoscopic 3D(s3D)visualization is becoming increasingly common in daily life.However,this does not change the fact that stereo effects and visual comfort depend greatly on how the related parameters are controlled during the production of the s3D images.In geovirtual reality systems,which are important browsers for Digital Earth,the maintenance of these parameters is deeply related to the navigation process.Therefore,the navigation method in such systems requires special care.This paper presents a new flying method based on a Cubemap structure.The method defines a Vehicle model and modifies the original Cubemap structure by adding a front view camera during the navigation;it allows the users to fly through a virtual geographic environment with automatic speed control,smooth collision resolution,and dynamic adjustment of the s3D-related parameters.A user test was conducted to compare this new method with the original method based on the Cubemap structure.The results show that the new method performs better than the former one for it provides a convenient interaction experience with improved stereoscopic effect,and diminishes visual discomfort.Qishen Duan Jianhua Gong Wenhang Li Shen Shen Rong Li 2015International Journal of Digital Earth2015,8,11:0
19A stream-based Parasitic Model for implementing Mobile Digital Earth显示文摘A Parasitic Model is proposed in this study for Digital Earth running on mobile phones through a mobile network.Because of mobile phones’limited capabilities in high-performance computing,rendering,storing,and networking(CRSN),these functions are accomplished by a superior host computer in this model.Rendered virtual scenes are compressed in a time-series as a data stream and are sent to the mobile phone through a mobile network,thus allowing Digital Earth to be operated on a mobile phone.This study examines a prototype and shows that a Mobile Digital Earth based on a Parasitic Model can achieve functionality beyond the mobile phone’s actual hardware capabilities and can reduce network traffic.These results demonstrate quasi-real-time interactions,but with bandwidth increases in next-generation mobile networks such as 4G and 5G,there is potential for real-time interactions in the near future.Wenhang Li Jianhua Gong Ping Yu Qishen Duan Yuling Zou 2014International Journal of Digital Earth2014,7,1:0
