1Cobalt single atom site catalysts with ultrahigh metal loading for enhanced aerobic oxidation of ethylbenzene显示文摘The oxidation of hydrocarbons to produce high value-added compounds(ketones or alcohols)using oxygen in air as the only oxidant is an efficient synthetic strategy from both environmental and economic views.Herein,we successfully synthesized cobalt single atom site catalysts(Co SACs)with high metal loading of 23.58 wt.%supported on carbon nitride(CN),which showed excellent catalytic properties for oxidation of ethylbenzene in air.Moreover,Co SACs show a much higher turn-over frequency(19.6 h^(−1))than other reported non-noble catalysts under the same condition.Comparatively,the as-obtained nanosized or homogenous Co catalysts are inert to this reaction.Co SACs also exhibit high selectivity(97%)and stability(unchanged after five runs)in this reaction.DFT calculations reveal that Co SACs show a low energy barrier in the first elementary step and a high resistance to water,which result in the robust catalytic performance for this reaction.Yu Xiong Wenming Sun Yunhu Han Pingyu Xin Xusheng Zheng Wensheng Yan Juncai Dong Jian Zhang Dingsheng Wang Yadong Li 2021Nano Research2021,14,7:20
2The Qitai radio telescope显示文摘This study presents a general outline of the Qitai radio telescope(QTT)project.Qitai,the site of the telescope,is a county of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of China,located in the east Tianshan Mountains at an elevation of about 1800 m.The QTT is a fully steerable,Gregorian-type telescope with a standard parabolic main reflector of 110 m diameter.The QTT has adopted an umbrella support,homology-symmetric lightweight design.The main reflector is active so that the deformation caused by gravity can be corrected.The structural design aims to ultimately allow high-sensitivity observations from 150 MHz up to115 GHz.To satisfy the requirements for early scientific goals,the QTTwill be equipped with ultra-wideband receivers and large field-of-view multi-beam receivers.A multi-function signal-processing system based on RFSo C and GPU processor chips will be developed.These will enable the QTT to operate in pulsar,spectral line,continuum and Very Long Baseline Interferometer(VLBI)observing modes.Electromagnetic compatibility(EMC)and radio frequency interference(RFI)control techniques are adopted throughout the system design.The QTT will form a world-class observational platform for the detection of lowfrequency(nano Hertz)gravitational waves through pulsar timing array(PTA)techniques,pulsar surveys,the discovery of binary black-hole systems,and exploring dark matter and the origin of life in the universe.The QTT will also play an important role in improving the Chinese and international VLBI networks,allowing high-sensitivity and high-resolution observations of the nuclei of distant galaxies and gravitational lensing systems.Deep astrometric observations will also contribute to improving the accuracy of the celestial reference frame.Potentially,the QTT will be able to support future space activities such as planetary exploration in the solar system and to contribute to the search for extraterrestrial intelligence.Na Wang Qian Xu Jun Ma Zhiyong Liu Qi Liu Hailong Zhang Xin Pei Maozheng Chen Richard N.Manchester Kejia Lee Xingwu Zheng Hans J.Kärcher Wulin Zhao Hongwei Li Dongwei Li Martin Süss Matthias Reichert Zhongyi Zhu Congsi Wang Mingshuai Li Rui Li Ning Li Guljaina Kazezkhan Wenming Yan Gang Wu Lang Cui Ming Zhang Haitao Li 2023Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2023,66,8:14
3Genome Warehouse: A Public Repository Housing Genome-scale Data显示文摘The Genome Warehouse(GWH)is a public repository housing genome assembly data for a wide range of species and delivering a series of web services for genome data submission,storage,release,and sharing.As one of the core resources in the National Genomics Data Center(NGDC),part of the China National Center for Bioinformation(CNCB;https://ngdc.cncb.ac.cn),GWH accepts both full and partial(chloroplast,mitochondrion,and plasmid)genome sequences with different assembly levels,as well as an update of existing genome assemblies.For each assembly,GWH collects detailed genome-related metadata of biological project,biological sample,and genome assembly,in addition to genome sequence and annotation.To archive high-quality genome sequences and annotations,GWH is equipped with a uniform and standardized procedure for quality control.Besides basic browse and search functionalities,all released genome sequences and annotations can be visualized with JBrowse.By May 21,2021,GWH has received 19,124 direct submissions covering a diversity of 1108 species and has released 8772 of them.Collectively,GWH serves as an important resource for genomescale data management and provides free and publicly accessible data to support research activities throughout the world.GWH is publicly accessible at https://ngdc.cncb.ac.cn/gwh.Meili Chen Yingke Ma Song Wu Xinchang Zheng Hongen Kang Jian Sang Xingjian Xu Lili Hao Zhaohua Li Zheng Gong Jingfa Xiao Zhang Zhang Wenming Zhao Yiming Bao 2021Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2021,19,4:12
4A Fiber Tractography Study of Social-Emotional Related Fiber Tracts in Children and Adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder显示文摘The symptoms of autism spectrum disorder(ASD) have been hypothesized to be caused by changes in brain connectivity. From the clinical perspective, the‘‘disconnectivity'' hypothesis has been used to explain characteristic impairments in ‘‘socio-emotional'' function.Therefore, in this study we compared the facial emotional recognition(FER) feature and the integrity of socialemotional-related white-matter tracts between children and adolescents with high-functioning ASD(HFA) and their typically developing(TD) counterparts. The correlation between the two factors was explored to find out if impairment of the white-matter tracts is the neural basis of social-emotional disorders. Compared with the TD group,FER was significantly impaired and the fractional anisotropy value of the right cingulate fasciculus was increased in the HFA group(P \ 0.01). 5The Tibetan Plateau Surface–Atmosphere Coupling System and Its Weather and Climate Effects: The Third Tibetan Plateau Atmospheric Science Experiment显示文摘The Tibetan Plateau(TP) is a key area affecting forecasts of weather and climate in China and occurrences of extreme weather and climate events over the world. The China Meteorological Administration, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and the Chinese Academy of Sciences jointly initiated the Third Tibetan Plateau Atmospheric Science Experiment(TIPEX-Ⅲ) in 2013, with an 8–10-yr implementation plan. Since its preliminary field measurements conducted in 2013, routine automatic sounding systems have been deployed at Shiquanhe, Gaize, and Shenzha stations in western TP, where no routine sounding observations were available previously. The observational networks for soil temperature and soil moisture in the central and western TP have also been established. Meanwhile, the plateau-scale and regional-scale boundary layer observations, cloud–precipitation microphysical observations with multiple radars and aircraft campaigns, and tropospheric–stratospheric air composition observations at multiple sites, were performed. The results so far show that the turbulent heat exchange coefficient and sensible heat flux are remarkably lower than the earlier estimations at grassland, meadow, and bare soil surfaces of the central and western TP. Climatologically, cumulus clouds over the main body of the TP might develop locally instead of originating from the cumulus clouds that propagate northward from South Asia. The TIPEX-Ⅲ observations up to now also reveal diurnal variations, macro-and microphysical characteristics, and water-phase transition mechanisms, of cumulus clouds at Naqu station. Moreover, TIPEX-Ⅲ related studies have proposed a maintenance mechanism responsible for the Asian 'atmospheric water tower' and demonstrated the effects of the TP heating anomalies on African, Asian, and North American climates. Additionally, numerical modeling studies show that the Γ distribution of raindrop size is more suitable for depicting the TP raindrop characteristics compared to the M–P distribution, the overestimation of sensible heat flux can be reduced via modifying the heat transfer parameterization over the TP, and considering climatic signals in some key areas of the TP can improve the skill for rainfall forecast in the central and eastern parts of China. 7Analysis of single frequency modulation for passive hydrogen maser显示文摘Based on the theory of the passive hydrogen maser,along with the technology of frequency modulation and modulation transfer spectroscopy, the theoretical expression of the single frequency modulation for the passive hydrogen maser and the function of the cavity and H line error signals separation are derived, which are basically coincident with the experiment. The absorption and dispersion spectrum curves with different resonance widths show that the cavity and hydrogen transition serve as discriminators, and the two error signals can be separated.Through the calculations of the two error signals in the passive hydrogen maser, it analyzes the traditional method of the two error signals separation, and then describes a new improved method for the passive hydrogen servo loops consisting in the use of a single modulation frequency and frequency discrimination. 8Ln2Zr2O7 compounds(Ln=La,Pr, Sm, Y) with varied rare earth A sites for low temperature oxidative coupling of methane显示文摘With the objective to develop catalysts having application potential for oxidative coupling of methane (OCM) at relatively lower temperature. A series of Ln2Zr2O7 compounds with varied rare earth A sites have been prepared by a co-precipitation method. XRD and Raman have proved that pure Ln2Zr2O7 compounds have been successfully prepared for all the catalysts. By decreasing the rA/rB ratio, their crystalline structure transform from an ordered pyrochlore (La2Zr2O7) to a less ordered pyrochlore (Pr2Zr2O7 and Sm2Zr2O7) and eventually to a defective cubic fluorite phase (Y2Zr2O7). H2-TPR, O2-TPD and XPS have testified that the amount of surface active O2-species follows the order of La2Zr2O7>Pr2Zr2O7>Sm2Zr2O7 > Y2Zr2O7, which is well consistent with the reaction performance, indicating that the abundance of surface O2- sites is a critical factor influencing the reaction performance. CO2-TPD has demonstrated that a better catalyst generally possesses a larger amount of surface moderate alkaline sites, which is another factor to affect the reaction performance. It is concluded that the concerted interaction between the two types of surface active sites controls the reaction performance of the Ln2Zr2O7 catalysts. 9Intelligibility enhancement for noisy whispered speech using asymmetric cost function显示文摘We proposed two whispered speech enhancement methods based on asymmetric cost functions in this paper to deal with the amplification and attenuation distortions of whispered speech distinctively.The modified Itakura-Saito(MIS)distance function provides more penalties to speech amplification distortion,whereas the Kullback-Leibler(KL)divergence function gives more penalties to speech attenuation distortion.The experimental results show that the MIS function based method achieves significant improvement of intelligibility in contrast to the conventional speech enhancement algorithms when the signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)falls below-6 dB,whereas the KL function based one achieves the similar result as the minimum mean square error(MMSE)speech enhancement method.The results show that the effects of the amplification and attenuation distortions on the intelligibility of the enhanced whisper are different,where larger attenuation distortion may result in better intelligibility of speech with low SNR.However,the attenuation distortion has small effects on intelligibility of speech with high SNR.ZHOU Jian ZHENG Wenming WANG Qingyun ZHAO Li 2014Chinese Journal of Acoustics2014,33,3:2
10High performance inkjet-printed QLEDs with 18.3% EQE: improving interfacial contact by novel halogen-free binary solvent system显示文摘Poly[(9,9-dioctylfluorenyl-2,7-diyl)-alt(4,4′-(N-(4-butylphenyl))](TFB),one of the most popular and widely used hole-transport layer(HTL)materials,has been successfully applied in high performance spin-coated quantum dots-based light-emitting diodes(QLEDs)due to its suitable energy level and high mobility.However,there are still many challenging issues in inkjet-printed QLED devices when using TFB as HTL.TFB normally suffers from the interlayer mixing and erosion,and low surface energy against the good film formation.Here,a novel environment-friendly binary solvent system was established for formulating quantum dot(QD)inks,which is based on mixing halogen-free alkane solvents of decalin and n-tridecane.The optimum volume ratio for the mixture of decalin and n-tridecane was found to be 7:3,at which a stable ink jetting flow and coffee-ring free QD films could be formed.To research the influence of substrate surface on the formation of inkjet-printed QD films,TFB was annealed at different temperatures,and the optimum annealing temperature was found to enable high quality inkjet-printed QD film.Inkjet-printed red QLED was ultimately manufactured.A maximum 18.3%of external quantum efficiency(EQE)was achieved,reaching 93%of the spin-coated QLED,which is the best reported high efficiency inkjet-printed red QLEDs to date.In addition,the inkjet-printed QLED achieved similar T75 operational lifetime(27 h)as compared to the spin-coated reference QLED(28 h)at 2,000 cd·m−2.This work demonstrated that the novel orthogonal halogen-free alkane co-solvents can improve the interfacial contact and facilitate high-performance inkjet printing QLEDs with high EQE and stability.Ming Chen Liming Xie Changting Wei Yuan-Qiu-Qiang Yi Xiaolian Chen Jian Yang Jinyong Zhuang Fushan Li Wenming Su Zheng Cui 2021Nano Research2021,14,11:2
11Multi-scale discrepancy adversarial network for cross-corpus speech emotion recognition显示文摘Background One of the most critical issues in human-computer interaction applications is recognizing human emotions based on speech.In recent years,the challenging problem of cross-corpus speech emotion recognition(SER)has generated extensive research.Nevertheless,the domain discrepancy between training data and testing data remains a major challenge to achieving improved system performance.Methods This paper introduces a novel multi-scale discrepancy adversarial(MSDA)network for conducting multiple timescales domain adaptation for cross-corpus SER,i.e.,integrating domain discriminators of hierarchical levels into the emotion recognition framework to mitigate the gap between the source and target domains.Specifically,we extract two kinds of speech features,i.e.,handcraft features and deep features,from three timescales of global,local,and hybrid levels.In each timescale,the domain discriminator and the feature extrator compete against each other to learn features that minimize the discrepancy between the two domains by fooling the discriminator.Results Extensive experiments on cross-corpus and cross-language SER were conducted on a combination dataset that combines one Chinese dataset and two English datasets commonly used in SER.The MSDA is affected by the strong discriminate power provided by the adversarial process,where three discriminators are working in tandem with an emotion classifier.Accordingly,the MSDA achieves the best performance over all other baseline methods.Conclusions The proposed architecture was tested on a combination of one Chinese and two English datasets.The experimental results demonstrate the superiority of our powerful discriminative model for solving cross-corpus SER.Wanlu ZHENG Wenming ZHENG Yuan ZONG 2021Virtual Reality & Intelligent Hardware2021,3,1:2
