1Variable-step integration method for milling chatter stability prediction with multiple delays显示文摘This paper analyzes the stability of milling with variable pitch cutter and tool runout cases characterized by multiple delays,and proposes a new variable-step numerical integration method for efficient and accurate stability prediction. The variable-step technique is emphasized here to expand the numerical integration method,especially for the low radial immersion cases with multiple delays. First,the calculation accuracy of the numerical integration method is discussed and the variable-step algorithm is developed for milling stability prediction for single-delay and multiple-delay cases,respectively. The milling stability with variable pitch cutter is analyzed and the result is compared with those predicted with the frequency domain method and the improved full-discretization method. The influence of the runout effect on the stability boundary is investigated by the presented method. The numerical simulation shows that the cutter runout effect increases the stability boundary,and the increasing stability limit is verified by the milling chatter experimental results in the previous research. 2Milling stability analysis using the spectral method显示文摘This paper focuses on the development of an efficient semi-analytical solution of chatter stability in milling based on the spectral method for integral equations. The time-periodic dynamics of the milling process taking the regenerative effect into account is formulated as a delayed differential equation with time-periodic coefficients,and then reformulated as a form of integral equation. On the basis of one tooth period being divided into a series of subintervals,the barycentric Lagrange interpolation polynomials are employed to approximate the state term and the delay term in the integral equation,respectively,while the Gaussian quadrature method is utilized to approximate the integral term. Thereafter,the Floquet transition matrix within the tooth period is constructed to predict the chatter stability according to Floquet theory. 3Response Sensitivity Analysis of the Dynamic Milling Process Based on the Numerical Integration Method显示文摘As one of the bases of gradient-based optimization algorithms, sensitivity analysis is usually required to calculate the derivatives of the system response with respect to the machining parameters. The most widely used approaches for sensitivity analysis are based on time-consuming numerical methods, such as finite difference methods. This paper presents a semi-analytical method for calculation of the sensitivity of the stability boundary in milling. After transforming the delay-differential equation with time-periodic coefficients governing the dynamic milling process into the integral form, the Floquet transition matrix is constructed by using the numerical integration method. Then, the analytical expressions of derivatives of the Floquet transition matrix with respect to the machining parameters are obtained. Thereafter, the classical analytical expression of the sensitivity of matrix eigenvalues is employed to calculate the sensitivity of the stability lobe diagram. The two-degree-of-freedom milling example illustrates the accuracy and efficiency of the proposed method. Compared with the existing methods, the unique merit of the proposed method is that it can be used for analytically computing the sensitivity of the stability boundary in milling, without employing any finite difference methods. Therefore, the high accuracy and high efficiency are both achieved. 4A new approach to dissecting complex traits by combining quantitative trait transcript (QTT) mapping and diallel cross analysis显示文摘A promising way to uncover the genetic architectures underlying complex traits may lie in the ability to recognize the genetic variants and expression transcripts that are responsible for the traits' inheritance.However,statistical methods capable of investigating the association between the inheritance of a quantitative trait and expression transcripts are still limited.In this study,we described a two-step approach that we developed to evaluate the contribution of expression transcripts to the inheritance of a complex trait.First,a mixed linear model approach was applied to detect significant trait-associated differentially expressed transcripts.Then,conditional analysis were used to predict the contribution of the differentially expressed genes to a target trait.Diallel cross data of cotton was used to test the application of the approach.We proposed that the detected differentially expressed transcripts with a strong impact on the target trait could be used as intermediates for screening lines to improve the traits in plant and animal breeding programs.It can benefit the discovery of the genetic mechanisms underlying complex traits.YANG DaiGang YE ChengYin MA XiongFeng ZHU ZhiHong ZHOU XiaoJian WANG HaiFeng MENG QingQin PEI XiaoYu YU ShuXun ZHU Jun 2012Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,21:3
5Changes in compressed neurons from dogs with acute and severe cauda equina constrictions following intrathecal injection of brain-derived neurotrophic factor-conjugated polymer nanoparticles显示文摘This study established a dog model of acute multiple cauda equina constriction by experimental constriction injury (48 hours) of the lumbosacral central processes in dorsal root ganglia neurons. The repair effect of intrathecal injection of brain-derived neurotrophic factor with 15 mg encapsulated biodegradable poly(lactide-co-glycolide) nanoparticles on this injury was then analyzed. Dorsal root ganglion cells (L7) of all experimental dogs were analyzed using hematoxylin-eosin staining and immunohistochemistry at 1, 2 and 4 weeks following model induction. Intrathecal injection of brain-derived neurotrophic factor can relieve degeneration and inflammation, and elevate the expression of brain-derived neurotrophic factor in sensory neurons of compressed dorsal root ganglion. Simultaneously, intrathecal injection of brain-derived neurotrophic factor obviously improved neurological function in the dog model of acute multiple cauda equina constriction. 12Anatomy-related risk factors in Harm's mesh subsidence in cervical reconstruction after one-level corpectomy显示文摘Objective:To clarify anatomy-related factors in the cervical spine with subsidence of titanium mesh cage (TMC) after one-level cervical corpectomy and fusion. The effect of the cervical posture, segmental curvature and endplate gradient on this postoperative phenomenon was evaluated. Methods: Between August 2003 and March 2006, a total of the 236 patients underwent one-level corpectomy and TMC fusion. Their radiological examinations were reviewed and clinical outcomes evaluated. Results: In the patients who were followed up for 12 months, TMC subsidence occurred in 54 (28.6%) cases. C6 corpectomy had a significant higher risk (26/60, 43.3%) for TMC subsidence, which was correlated with the variation of the gradient of the vertebral endplates against cervical levels. Although the clinical outcome was comparable with those in the literature, the patients may have subsidence-related problems such as neck-shoulder pain, neurological deterioration and instrumental failure. 17pH-responsive delivery of H_(2) through ammonia borane-loaded mesoporous silica nanoparticles improves recovery after spinal cord injury by moderating oxidative stress and regulating microglial polarization显示文摘Imbalance of oxidative and inflammatory regulation is themain contributor to neurofunctional deterioration and failure of rebuilding spared neural networks after spinal cord injury(SCI).As an emerging biosafe strategy for protecting against oxidative and inflammatory damage,hydrogen(H_(2))therapy is a promising approach for improving the microenvironment to allow neural regeneration.However,achieving release of H_(2) at sufficient concentrations specifically into the injured area is critical for the therapeutic effect of H_(2).Thus,we assembled SiO_(2)@mSiO_(2) mesoporous silica nanoparticles and loaded them with ammonia borane(AB),which has abundant capacity and allows controllable release of H_(2) in an acid-dependent manner.The release of H_(2) from AB/SiO_(2)@mSiO_(2) was satisfactory at pH 6.6,which is approximately equal to the microenvironmental acidity after SCI.After AB/SiO_(2)@mSiO_(2) were intrathecally administered to ratmodels of SCI,continuous release of H_(2) fromthese nanoparticles synergistically enhanced neurofunctional recovery,reduced fibrotic scar formation and promoted neural regeneration by suppressing oxidative stress reaction.Furthermore,in the subacute phase of SCI,microglia were markedly polarized toward the M2 phenotype by H_(2) via inhibition of TLR9 expression in astrocytes.In conclusion,H_(2) delivery through AB/SiO_(2)@mSiO_(2) has the potential to efficiently treat SCI through comprehensivemodulation of the oxidative and inflammatory imbalance in themicroenvironment.Yi Liu Yeying Wang Bing Xiao Guoke Tang Jiangming Yu Weiheng Wang Guohua Xu Xiaojian Ye 2021Regenerative Biomaterials2021,8,6:0
