1Interweaving Permutation Meets Block Compressed Sensing显示文摘Traditional Block compressed sensing(BCS) schemes encode nature images via a fixed sampling rate without taking the sparsity level differences among the blocks into consideration. In order to improve the sampling efficiency, a permutation-based BCS scheme with separate reconstruction is considered in this paper. The error performance bound of BCS scheme is carefully analyzed, and it is revealed that the smaller the maximum block sparsity level of the 2D signal is, the better reconstruction performance the algorithm has. According to the theoretical analysis result, an interweaving-permutationbased BCS strategy is investigated. In the proposed approach, the maximum block sparsity level of the 2D signal can be reduced significantly by interweaving permutation. As a result, better reconstruction performance can be achieved. 2Minor-effect QTL for heading date detected in crosses between indica rice cultivar Teqing and near isogenic lines of IR24显示文摘Identification of quantitative trait loci(QTL) having small effects on heading date(HD) is important for fine-tuning flowering time in rice(Oryza sativa L.). In this study, minor-effect QTL for HD were identified using five segregating rice populations, including a recombinant inbred line population derived from crosses between indica cultivar Teqing and near isogenic lines of IR24,and four populations derived from residual heterozygotes identified in the original population.HD data from these populations were obtained in multiple years or at two locations with different photoperiods. A total of 11 QTL were detected; they had small additive effects ranging from 0.21 to1.63 days. The QTL were all detected in different populations, locations and/or years, having consistent allelic effects across experiments and a stable magnitude across years at the same location. These QTL, and other minor-effect QTL that have been cloned or fine-mapped, generally do not have strong photoperiod sensitivity, and thus can be used in a wide range of ecogeographical conditions. Seven of the 11 QTL were different from those that have been cloned or fine-mapped, providing new candidates for gene cloning and marker-assisted breeding. Allelic effects of QTL corresponding to those that had been cloned or fine-mapped, were much smaller in this study than previously reported. 13Numerical simulation of irregular section underground structure shaking table test model显示文摘Based on the the large shaking table test results on irregular section subway station structure in soft soil,an overall time-history numerical simulation is conducted to study the nonlinear dynamic interaction of the soilirregular underground structure.Typical test results,including the acceleration of the soil,acceleration,and deformation of the structure,were analyzed.Satisfactory consistency between the simulation and test results is verified,and the difference between these results was discussed in detail.The maximum inter-story drift ratio was approximately 1/472 under input PGA=0.54 g.The strain responses of columns were significantly larger than those of the side walls and slabs.The components in the lower layers of the irregular subway station structure,particularly in the central columns,underwent cumulative damage.The research results could provide a simplified analysis method to quantitatively evaluate the damage of irregular underground structures in soft soil.Baizan Tang Wenchao Deng Su Chen Xiaojun Li Haiyang Zhuang 2022Earthquake Research Advances2022,2,4:0
14Serum exosomal microRNA-144-3p:a promising biomarker for monitoring Crohn’s disease显示文摘Background:Crohn’s disease(CD)has a tendency for recurrence and requires adequate monitoring and personalized treatment.Since endoscopy is considerably invasive,serum biomarkers are required as alternatives for CD monitoring.Toward this,exosomal microRNAs(miRNAs)may serve as promising candidates.In this study,we aimed to assess the role of serum exosomal microRNA-144-3p(miR-144-3p)as a biomarker for CD monitoring.Methods:We prospectively recruited 154 patients without a history of surgery(Cohort 1)and 75 patients who were to undergo intestinal resection(Cohort 2).Serum samples were collected from Cohort 1 before colonoscopy and from Cohort 2 before surgery and during post-operative colonoscopic examination.The serum levels of exosomal miR-144-3p were measured using quantitative reverse-transcription polymerase chain reaction(PCR).Correlations between relative exosomal miR-144-3p levels,disease activity,and disease behavior were analysed.The area under the receiver-operating characteristic curve(AUC)was used to assess the predictive value of exosomal miR-144-3p regarding mucosal activity and postoperative recurrence.Results:A 3.33-fold increase in serum exosomal miR-144-3p levels was recorded in patients with CD compared with those in healthy controls(P<0.001).The exosomalmiR-144-3p levels were positively correlated with the simple endoscopic score of CD(q=0.547,P<0.001)as well as the Rutgeerts score(q=0.478,P<0.001).Elevated exosomalmiR-144-3p levels were correlated with the penetrating disease with high specificity(100%[95%confidence interval,95.1%–100%]).The accuracy of exosomalmiR-144-3p for identifying post-operative recurrence was higher than that of C-reactive protein(CRP)(AUC,0.775 vs 0.639;P<0.001).Conclusions:Serum exosomal miR-144-3p is a reliable biomarker of mucosal inflammation and penetrating CD.It may identify endoscopic CD recurrence after intestinal resection with higher accuracy than CRP testing.Peng Chen Shanshan Huang Qiao Yu Kang Chao Ying Wang Gaoshi Zhou Xiaojun Zhuang Zhirong Zeng Minhu Chen Shenghong Zhang 2022Gastroenterology Report2022,10,1:0
15Development and validation of a nomogram to predict indolent course in patients with ulcerative colitis:a single-center retrospective study显示文摘Background:The natural disease course for patients with ulcerative colitis(UC)is heterogeneous and few data are available on the indolent course of UC and its related factors.We aimed to develop and validate a nomogramto predict indolent course in patients with UC.Methods:Data of patients diagnosed with UC in the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University(Guangzhou,China)between April 2007 and February 2021 were retrospectively analysed.Indolent course was defined as a disease course without need for strict interventions(steroids,immunomodulators,biological agents,hospitalization,or surgery therapy)during the follow-up period.The whole cohort was randomly divided into training set and validation set.The nomogram was constructed in the training set based on the results of univariate and multivariate Cox regression analyses.The performance of the nomogram was assessed by the concordance index(C-index),area under the receiver-operating characteristic curve(AUC),and calibration plots.In addition,we internally validated the nomogramvia the bootstrap method and the validation set.Results:Of 969 treatment-naive patients with UC,771(79.6%)had an indolent course after diagnosis.Of these,313 patients were included in the development and validation of the nomogram.The nomogram incorporating age,disease activity,C-reactive protein,and platelet count showed good calibration and discrimination.The C-index was 0.759(0.741 in bootstrap validation)and the AUC at 2,4,and 6 years was 0.767,0.782,and 0.775,respectively.The nomogramperformed well when applied to the validation set.Conclusion:A majority of patients with UC had an indolent course after diagnosis.The nomogram developed in this study might be useful in therapeutic decision-making and follow-up management for patients with UC.Na Li Shukai Zhan Caiguang Liu Tong Li Tong Tu Baili Chen Yao He Minhu Chen Zhirong Zeng Xiaojun Zhuang 2022Gastroenterology Report2022,10,1:0
16A Spider Monkey Optimization Algorithm Combining Opposition-Based Learning and Orthogonal Experimental Design显示文摘As a new bionic algorithm,Spider Monkey Optimization(SMO)has been widely used in various complex optimization problems in recent years.However,the new space exploration power of SMO is limited and the diversity of the population in SMO is not abundant.Thus,this paper focuses on how to reconstruct SMO to improve its performance,and a novel spider monkey optimization algorithm with opposition-based learning and orthogonal experimental design(SMO^(3))is developed.A position updatingmethod based on the historical optimal domain and particle swarmfor Local Leader Phase(LLP)andGlobal Leader Phase(GLP)is presented to improve the diversity of the population of SMO.Moreover,an opposition-based learning strategy based on self-extremum is proposed to avoid suffering from premature convergence and getting stuck at locally optimal values.Also,a local worst individual elimination method based on orthogonal experimental design is used for helping the SMO algorithm eliminate the poor individuals in time.Furthermore,an extended SMO^(3)named CSMO^(3)is investigated to deal with constrained optimization problems.The proposed algorithm is applied to both unconstrained and constrained functions which include the CEC2006 benchmark set and three engineering problems.Experimental results show that the performance of the proposed algorithm is better than three well-known SMO algorithms and other evolutionary algorithms in unconstrained and constrained problems.Weizhi Liao Xiaoyun Xia Xiaojun Jia Shigen Shen Helin Zhuang Xianchao Zhang 2023Computers, Materials & Continua2023,76,9:0
17Radiotherapy assisted with biomaterials to trigger antitumor immunity显示文摘As an extensively applied therapeutic approach to combat tumors,radiotherapy generates localized ionizing radiation to destruct tumor cells.Despite its importance in clinical oncology,radiotherapy would often cause significant organ toxicity,and its therapeutic effect is limited by tumor hypoxia.Moreover,although abscopal therapeutic effects have occasionally been observed,radiotherapy is still mostly employed as a local treatment method that could hardly control tumor metastases.In recent years,strategies involving biomaterials and nanomedicine have received increasingly high attention to enhance cancer radiotherapy.Beyond sensitizing tumors for radiotherapy via various mechanisms,many biomaterial systems with immune stimulating effects have also been introduced to boost the antitumor immunity post cancer radiotherapy.In this mini-review,we will summarize the progress of different biomaterials and nanomedicine systems in combination with radiotherapy to trigger antitumor immune responses and enhance the efficacy of immunotherapy,and discusses the perspectives and challenges of this research direction aimed at clinical translations.Xiaojun Yu Haitao Ma Guiying Xu Zhuang Liu 2022Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,9:0
18Legume Green Manuring Improves Soil Fertility and Plant Growth of Eucalyptus Plantation in South Subtropical China显示文摘Legume green manure is extensively planted to improve soil fertility in crop field.However,the application of legume in Eucalyptus plantation is still limited and depends on site specific and species.Therefore,the objective of this study was to determine the effects of green manure interplantation on soil fertility and plant growth of Eucalyptus plantation in a short term.A field experiment of one year was established to investigate the green manure growth,forest soil nutrients and Eucalyptus plant growth inter-planted with two legume species(Tephrosia candida,TC and Sesbania cannabina,SC)at south subtropical China.Legumes were inter-planted in linear among the tree space of Eucalyptus stand.Result showed that the green manure inter-plantation increased soil organic matter by 9.66%of TC and 18.44%of SC.Soil available nitrogen,phosphorus and potassium were improved significantly by the legume treatments as well.The increment of height and diameter at breast height of Eucalyptus during the experiment was significant in legume treatments.Thus,the timber volume increment was improved significantly by 46.81%of TC and 35.47%of SC compared with the control treatment.Therefore,the inter-plantation of legume green manure under the Eucalyptus plantation is effective to improve soil fertility and tree growth.Such a measure is potential and referenced for the sustainable forest management.Kongxin Zhu Huili Wang Zuoyu Qin Jian Tang Xiaojun Deng Jizhao Cao Shunyao Zhuang 2021Research in Ecology2021,3,1:0
19Geochemical characteristics, genetic types, and controlling factors of natural gas in Jiyang Depression, Bohai Bay Basin (eastern China)显示文摘The Jiyang Depression is an important oil and gas production zone in the Bohai Bay Basin.Through a systematic investigation of the gas components and stable carbon isotopes,the genetic types of natural gas found in the Jiyang Depression were determined,that is,biogas,oilassociated gas,coal-derived gas,high-mature oil-related gas,and mantle-derived carbon dioxide(CO_(2)).From the results,natural gas in the Jiyang Depression can be divided into four groups.Group I,which is distributed in the northwest area,is the only typical oil-associated gas.Group II,distributed in the northeast area,is dominated by oil-associated gas,and involves biogas,coal-derived gas,and high-mature oil-related gas.Group Ⅲ,distributed in the southeast area,has all genetic types of gas that are dominated by oil-associated gas and have mantle-derived CO_(2).Group IV,distributed in the southwest area,is dominated by biogas and involves coal-derived gas and oil-associated gas.The differences in each group illustrate the lateral distribution of the natural gas types is characterized by the eastern and southern areas being more complex than the western and northern areas,the vertical distribution of gas reservoirs has no obvious evolutionary law.The main controlling factor analysis of the spatiotemporal changes of the gas reservoirs revealed that the synergy of geochemical characteristics,thermal evolution of the Shahejie Formation and Carboniferous-Permian source rocks,and sealing properties of various faults are jointly responsible for determining the gas reservoir spatiotemporal changes.Tianchen GE Xiangchun CHANG Yuan ZHUANG Xiaojun LI 2022Frontiers of Earth Science2022,16,3:0
