| 1 | Analysis of pressure characteristics under laminar and turbulent flow states inside the pilot stage of a deflection flapper servo-valve:Mathematical modeling with CFD study and experimental validation显示文摘Electro-hydraulic servo-valves are widely used components in the mechanical industry,aerospace and aerodynamic devices which precisely control the airplane or missile wings.Due to the small size and complex structure in the pilot stage of deflection flapper servo-valves,accurate mathematical models for the flow and pressure characteristics have always been very difficult to be built.In this paper,mathematical models for the pilot stage of deflection flapper servo-valve are investigated to overcome some gaps between the theoretical formulation and overall performance of the valve by considering different flow states.Here,a mathematical model of the velocity distribution at the flapper groove exit is established by using Schlichting velocity equations for incompressible laminar fluid flow.Moreover,when the flow becomes turbulent,a mathematical model of pressure characteristics in the receiving ports is built on the basis of the assumption of the collision between the liquid and the jet as the impact of the jet on a moving block of fluid particles.To verify the analytical models for both laminar and turbulent flows,the pressure characteristics of the deflection flapper pilot stage are calculated and tested by using numerical simulation and experiment.Experimental verification of the theory is also presented.The computed numerical and analytical results show a good agreement with experimental data. | Bijan Krishna SAHA Songjing LI Xinbei LV | 2020 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2020,33,3: | 6 |

| 3 | Functional characterization of oligopeptide transporter 1 of dairy cows显示文摘Background: It is wel known that peptides play a vital role in the nutrition and health of dairy cows. Bovine oligopeptide transporter 1(bP epT 1) is involved in the peptide transport process in the gastrointestinal tracts of dairy cows. However,little information is known in the characteristics of bP epT 1. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to characterize bP epT 1 functional y using a mammalian cel expression system. The uptake of radiolabeled dipeptide glycyl-sarcosine([3 H]-Gly-Sar)into the bP epT 1-transfected Chinese hamster ovary cel s was measured at various pH and substrate concentrations and with or without 15 other smal peptides that contained Met or Lys.Results: Western blot results showed that the abundance of bP epT 1 protein in the jejunum and ileum are the highest in the gastrointestinal tract of dairy cows. The uptake of [3 H]-Gly-Sar by b Pep T1-Chinese hamster ovary cells was dependent on time, p H, and substrate concentration, with a low Kmvalue of 0.94 ± 0.06 mmol/L and a maximum velocity of 20.80 ± 1.74 nmol/(mg protein · 5 min). Most of the di-and tripeptides were the substrates of b Pep T1,based on substrate-competitive studies. | 8 | Dynamic Characteristics of the Jet Force on the Flapper of the Pilot Stage in a Flapper Nozzle Servo Valve Under the Flow-Solid Interaction显示文摘Nowadays,more and more attention has been paid to improve the performance of the nozzle flapper servo valve.As a core part of nozzle flapper servo valve,the armature assembly is affected by electromagnetic force,jet force and feedback force at the same time.Due to the complex structure of the pilot stage flow field and the high jet pressure,the prediction of the jet force has always been difficult in modeling the transient motion of the servo valve.Whereupon,a numerical simulation method based on the flow-solid interaction(FSI)is applied to observe the variation of the jet force when the flapper is moving.Different parameters are employed to seek a suitable numerical simulation model which can balance the accuracy and computational cost.By comparing with the experiment results,the effectiveness of numerical simulation method in predicting the variation of the jet force and cavitation is verified.By this numerical simulation model,the distribution of flow field and the force on the flapper predicted by the moving and fixed flapper are compared.The results show that more dynamic details are achieved by the transient simulation.By analyzing the numerical simulation results of different inlet pressures and flapper vibration frequencies,the relationship between the movement of the flapper,the flow field distribution,the jet force and the inlet pressure is established,which provides a theoretical basis for the subsequent modeling of the armature assembly. | Xinbei Lü Jinghui Peng Songjing Li | 2020 | Journal of Beijing Institute of Technology2020,29,4: | 0 |
| 9 | Upregulation of cadherin-11 contributes to cholestatic liver fibrosis显示文摘Importance:Cadherin-11(CDH11),a cell-to-cell adhesion molecule,is implicated in the fibrotic process of several organs.Biliary atresia(BA)is a common cholestatic liver disease featuring cholestasis and progressive liver fibrosis in children.Cholestatic liver fibrosis may progress to liver cirrhosis and lacks effective therapeutic strategies.Currently,the role of CDH11 in cholestatic liver fibrosis remains unclear.Objective:This study aimed to explore the functions of CDH11 in cholestatic liver fibrosis.Methods:The expression ofCDH11 in BA livers was evaluated by database analysis and immunostaining.Seven BA liver samples were used for immunostaining.The wild type(Wt)andCDH11 knockout(CDH11^(-/-))mice were subjected to bile duct ligation(BDL)to induce cholestatic liver fibrosis.The serum biochemical analysis,liver histology,and western blotting were used to assess the extent of liver injury and fibrosis as well as activation of transforming growth factor-β(TGF-β)/Smad pathway.The effect of CDH11 on the activation of hepatic stellate cell line LX-2 cells was investigated.Results:Analysis of public RNA-seq datasets showed thatCDH11 expression levels were significantly increased in livers of BA,and CDH11 was correlated with liver fibrosis in BA.BDL-induced liver injury and liver fibrosis were attenuated inCDH11^(-/-)mice compared to Wt mice.The protein expression levels of phosphorylated Smad2/3 were decreased in livers ofCDH11^(-/-)BDL mice compared to Wt BDL mice.CDH11 knockdown inhibited the activation of LX-2 cells.Interpretation:CDH11 plays an important role in cholestatic liver fibrosis and may represent a potential therapeutic target for cholestatic liver disease,such as BA. | Bo Wu Xinbei Tian Weipeng Wang Jing Zhu Ying Lu Jun Du Yongtao Xiao | 2022 | Pediatric Investigation2022,6,2: | 0 |
| 10 | Mathematical modeling of an armature assembly in pilot stage of a hydraulic servo valve based on distributed parameters显示文摘The dynamic performance of a nozzle-flapper servo valve can be affected by several factors such as the disturbance of the input signal,the motion of the armature assembly and the oscillation of the jet force.As the part of vibrating at high frequency,the armature assembly plays a vital role during the operation of the servo valve.In order to accurately predict the transient response of the armature assembly during the vibration,a mathematical model of armature assembly is established based on the distributed parameters method(DPM)and Hamilton principle.The new mathematical model is composed of three main parts,the modal eigenfunction,modal mechanical response expressions of the spring tube and the motion equation of the other armature assembly.After programing,the purpose of using the DPM to predict the dynamic response of different positions located on the armature assembly is achieved.For verifying the validity of the mathematical model,the finite element method(FEM)and classic model(CM)of armature assembly are applicated by commercial software under the same condition.The comparison results prove that the DPM can effectively predict the axial and tangential deflection of the armature assembly different positions which the CM can’t duing to its over-simplification.A certain error is generated when predicting the axial deformation at different heights by DPM,which is caused by an approximate method to simulate the torsion of the spring tube.The comparison results of the spring tube deflection at different vibration frequencies shows that the adaptability of DPM is significantly higher than the classic model,which verify the model is more adaptable for predicting the dynamic response of the armature assembly. | Xinbei LV Jinghui PENG Songjing LI | 2021 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2021,34,3: | 0 |

| 13 | Supramolecular liquid barrier for sulfur mustard utilizing host-guest complexation of pillar[5]arene with triethylene oxide substituents显示文摘Sulfur mustard(SM) can be absorbed by skin quickly and cause serious system damage via reacting with nearly all cell constituents. Until now, there is still lack of effective antidotal therapy for SM and skin protection is highly important to defend SM. In this article, supramolecular liquid barrier based on pillar[5]arene with triethylene oxide substituents(EGP5) has been designed to impede the skin permeation of SM and further interaction with the skin tissue. EGP5 could encapsulate SM within its cavity, with a Kavalue of(5.10 ± 0.47) × 10^(2)L/mol. In vitro skin absorption test proved that EGP5 was capable to effectively prevent SM from penetrating through skin. This supramolecular liquid barrier was employed on rat models to systematically evaluate protective effect against SM intoxication. Pretreatment of EGP5could alleviate skin and system damage induced by SM and improve survival rate of poisoned rat models from 10% to 90%. Additionally, EGP5 served as protective materials could be highly reused after recycling several times.
