| 1 | Characteristics of the lunar samples returned by the Chang'E-5 mission显示文摘Forty-five years after the Apollo and Luna missions returned lunar samples,China's Chang’E-5(CE-5)mission collected new samples from the mid-latitude region in the northeastern Oceanus Procellarum of the Moon.Our study shows that 95%of CE-5 lunar soil sizes are found to be within the range of 1.40-9.35μm,while 95%of the soils by mass are within the size range of 4.84-432.27μm.The bulk density,true density and specific surface area of CE-5 soils are 1.2387 g/cm^(3),3.1952 g/cm^(3) and 0.56 m^(2)/g,respectively.Fragments from the CE-5 regolith are classified into igneous clasts(mostly basalt),agglutinate and glass.A few breccias were also found.The minerals and compositions of CE-5 soils are consistent with mare basalts and can be classified as low-Ti/low-Al/low-K type with lower rare-earth-element contents than materials rich in potassium,rare earth element and phosphorus.CE-5 soils have high FeO and low Mg index,which could represent a new class of basalt. | Chunlai Li Hao Hu Meng-Fei Yang Zhao-Yu Pei Qin Zhou Xin Ren Bin Liu Dawei Liu Xingguo Zeng Guangliang Zhang Hongbo Zhang Jianjun Liu Qiong Wang Xiangjin Deng Caijin Xiao Yonggang Yao Dingshuai Xue Wei Zuo Yan Su Weibin Wen Ziyuan Ouyang | 2022 | National Science Review2022,9,2: | 12 |

| 3 | Major advances in studies of the physical geography and living environment of China during the past 70 years and future prospects显示文摘The natural environment provides material essentials for human survival and development. The characteristics,processes, regional differentiation and forcing mechanisms of the elements of the natural environment(e.g. geomorphology,climate, hydrology, soil, etc.) are the main objects of research in physical geography. China has a complex natural environment and huge regional differentiation and therefore it provides outstanding reserach opportunities in physical geography. This review summarizes the most important developments and the main contributions of research in the physical geography and human living environment in China during the past 70 years. The major topics addressed are the uplift of the Tibetan Plateau and the evolution of its cryosphere, the development of fluvial systems, the acidification of the vast arid region of the Asian interior, variations in the monsoon and westerly climate systems on multiple timescales, the development of lakes and wetlands, the watershed system model, soil erosion, past human-environment interactions, biogeography, and physical geographic zonality. After briefly introducing international research developments, we review the history of research in physical geography in China, focusing on the major achievements and major academic debates, and finally we summarize the status of current research and the future prospects. | 4 | Wheat genome editing expedited by efficient transformation techniques:Progress and perspectives显示文摘Genome editing is one of the most promising biotechnologies to improve crop performance.Common wheat is a staple food for mankind. In the past few decades both basic and applied research on common wheat has lagged behind other crop species due to its complex,polyploid genome and difficulties in genetic transformation. Recent breakthroughs in wheat transformation permit a revolution in wheat biotechnology. In this review, we summarize recent progress in wheat genetic transformation and its potential for wheat improvement. We then review recent progress in plant genome editing, which is now readily available in wheat. We also discuss measures to further increase transformation efficiency and potential applications of genome editing in wheat. | 5 | CRISPR/Cas9 editing of wheat TaQ genes alters spike morphogenesis and grain threshability显示文摘The Ta Q alleles as one of the AP2-like transcription factors in common wheat(Triticum aestivum) play an important role in the evolution of spike characteristics from wild and domesticated emmer to modern wheat cultivars. Its loss-of-function mutant not only changed threshability and spike architecture but also affected plant height, flowering time, and floret structure. However, the comprehensive functions of Ta AQ and Ta Dq genes in wheat have not been fully elucidated yet. Here, CRISPR/Sp Cas9 was used to edit wheat Ta AQ and Ta Dq. We obtained homozygous plants in the T1 generation with loss of function of only Ta AQ or Ta Dq and simultaneous loss of function of Ta AQ and Ta Dq to analyze the effect of these genes on wheat spikes and floret shapes. The results demonstrated that the Ta AQ-edited plants and the Ta AQ and Ta Dq simultaneously-edited plants were nearly similar in spike architecture, whereas the Ta Dq-edited plants were different from the wild-type ones only in plant height. Moreover, the Ta AQ-edited plants or the Ta AQ and Ta Dq simultaneously-edited plants were more brittle than the wild-type and the Ta Dqedited plants. Based on the expression profiling, we postulated that the VRN1, FUL2, SEP2, SEP5, and SEP6 genes might affect the number of spikelets and florets per spike in wheat by regulating the expression of Ta Q. Combining the results of this report and previous reports, we conceived a regulatory network of wheat traits, including plant height, spike shape, and floral organs, which were influenced by AP2-like family genes. | 8 | High Sn-2 Docosahexaenoic Acid Lipids for Brain Benefits, and Their Enzymatic Syntheses: A Review显示文摘The normal development and maintenance of central neural functions are highly correlated with the amount of docosahexaenoic acid(DHA;ω-3 fatty acid)accumulated in the brain.DHA incorporated at the sn-2 position of lipids is well absorbed by intestinal mucosa and utilized efficiently in vivo.However,modern consumers have a reduced direct intake of DHA and increased intake of saturated fats or ω-6 fatty acid oils,resulting in behavioral and neurophysiological deficits.To provide an understanding of the integrated beneficial effects of DHA on the human brain,this review introduces the positional difference(sn-2 and sn-1,3 positions)of DHA on a glycerol skeleton in natural fats and oils,and further discusses the possible functional mechanism regarding DHA supplementation and the gut-brain axis.The multiple bidirectional routes in this axis offer a novel insight into the interaction between DHA supplementation,the gut microbiota,and brain health.To achieve high sn-2 DHA in diets,it is suggested that sn-2 DHA lipids be enzymatically produced in more efficient and economical ways by improving the specific activities of lipases and optimizing the purification procedures.These types of diets will benefit individuals with strong needs for sn-2 ω-3 lipids such as infants,children,and pregnant and lactating women. | Jun Jin Qingzhe Jin Xingguo Wang Casimir CAkoh | 2020 | Engineering2020,6,4: | 5 |

| 12 | Variations in leaf carbon isotope composition along an arid and semi-arid grassland transect in northern China显示文摘Aims We aimed to quantify the variation of leafδ^(13)C along an arid and semi-arid grassland transect in northern China.We also evaluated the effects of environmental factors(i.e.precipitation,temperature and altitude)on the spatial variation of leafδ^(13)C in northern grasslands and Tibetan Plateau,China.Method We sampled leaves of plant species belonging to three herb genera(Stipa spp.,Leymus spp.and Cleistogenes spp.)and three shrub genera(Caragana spp.,Reaumuria spp.and Nitraria spp.)for carbon isotope analysis from 50 locations along a 3200-km arid and semiarid grassland transect in northern China.Leafδ^(13)C data in Tibetan Plateau and northern grasslands in China were also compiled from studies in literature.Important Findings Along the transect,leafδ^(13)C for C_(3)plants ranged from−28.0‰to−23.3‰,and from−16.3‰to−13.8‰for C_(4)plant Cleistogenes spp..The change in leafδ^(13)C ranged from−0.26‰to−3.51‰with every 100 mm increase of annual precipitation,and leafδ^(13)C of shrubs(Nitraria spp.,Reaumuria spp.and Caragana spp.)responded more markedly to climatic factors(precipitation and temperature)than that of herbs(Stipa spp.,Leymus spp.and Cleistogenes spp.),indicating higher sensitivity of shrubδ^(13)C to climatic changes.The most important factor regulating spatial variations of leafδ^(13)C in Tibetan Plateau was altitude,while it was precipitation in northern grasslands.Our results suggested that shrubs are more adapted to increasing drought in arid and semi-arid grassland.Controls of environmental factors on leafδ^(13)C depended on the most limiting factors in arid grassland(precipitation)and Tibetan grasslands(atmospheric CO_(2)concentration). | Chao Wang Dongwei Liu Wentao Luo Yunting Fang Xiaobo Wang Xiaotao Lü Yong Jiang Xingguo Han Edith Bai | 2016 | Journal of Plant Ecology2016,9,5: | 3 |
| 13 | A laser light scattering study of the interaction between human serum albumin and ampicillin sodium显示文摘The complexes formed by the interaction of human serum albumin and ampicillin sodium in aqueous solutions were investigated at 25 ± 0.1℃, ionic strength I = 0.085 mol·kg-1, pH 4.9, 5.8 and 7.4. The results of static light scattering have suggested that at pH 7.4, 5.8, 4.9, the molecular weight of the protein/drug complexes is 210,000 g·mol-1, 418,000 g·mol-1, 448,000 g·mol-1, re- spectively. The z-average root-mean-square radius of gyration and the second virial coefficients de- crease with pH decreasing. Dynamic light scattering provides information on diffusion coefficient and particle distributions of protein/drug complexes under different conditions, which suggests a broad hydrodynamic diameter range of scatters. | 14 | Measurement of Attenuation of Ultrasonic Propagating through the Thin Layer Media with Time Delay Spectrum显示文摘The ultrasonic attenuation coefficient is one of the most important acoustic parameters to character the performance of a thin layer media, but it can not be measured due to mutual superposition of multiple reflected waves at the same interface in ultrasonic testing. Ultrasonic pulse echo and lamb wave to evaluate the thin layer media can not obtain attenuation coefficient at present. In this paper, analytical method was used to study the acoustics characteristic of thin layer media with the ultrasonic echo testing. Meanwhile, the process of ultrasonic attenuation measurement was presented. Simulation and experimental investigation is focused on a thin layer of rubber. Attenuation coefficient was introduced and evaluation mathematics model was established by the two echoes cross-correlation with and without the thin layer media based on the time delay spectrum. It involved the parameters related to the acoustic properties of the thin layer media. Through calculating the sound velocity and acoustic impedance with the evaluation model, it can deduce the relation between the attenuation coefficient and the frequency. Through analyzing the simulation results, it indicated that the attenuation coefficients were invariable with the varying of the frequency. However, the attenuation coefficients increased with the frequency increasing by ultrasonic testing the thin layer of rubber. The reason was that the attenuation factor was not taken into account during the simulation. This method overcomes shortcomings that the traditional ultrasonic testing can not evaluate the thin layer media whose thickness is less than motivation wavelength. | 17 | Effects of trace Zr on the microstructure and properties of 2E12 alloy显示文摘Al-4.0Cu-1.4Mg-0.6Mn (2E12) and Al-4.0Cu-1.4Mg-0.6Mn-0.3Zr aluminum billets were manufactured by soft-contact electromagnetic continuous casting (EMC). Subsequent forging and heat treatment were conducted and the effects of Zr on the microstructure and properties of the Al-4.0Cu-1.4Mg-0.6Mn alloy were studied. The results show that the addition of 0.3% Zr can reduce the dendrite and refine grains. During forging and solution treatment, fine and dispersive Al3Zr particles precipitated from the supersaturated α (Al) solid solution in the heating process of the billet can effectively pin dislocations and subgrain boundaries. Because of the addition of Zr, the mechanical properties are improved with the tensile strength, yield strength, elongation, and contraction of the area increasing by 5.4%, 11.3%, 9.7%, and 12.6%, respectively. | 18 | Synthesis of magnetic two-dimensional materials by chemical vapor deposition显示文摘The development of magnetic two-dimensional(2D)materials in its infancy has generated an enormous amount of attention as it offers an ideal platform for the exploration of magnetic properties down to the 2D limit,paving the way for spintronic devices.Due to the nonnegligible advantages including time efficiency and simplified process,the facile bottom-up chemical vapor deposition(CVD)is regarded as a robust method to fabricate ultrathin magnetic nanosheets.Recently,some ultrathin magnets possessing fascinating properties have been successfully synthesized via CVD.Here,the recent researches toward magnetic 2D materials grown by CVD are systematically summarized with special emphasis on the fabrication methods.Then,heteroatoms doping and phase transition induced in CVD growth to bring or tune the magnetic properties in 2D materials are discussed.Characterizations and applications of these magnetic materials are also discussed and reviewed.Finally,some perspectives in need of urgent attention regarding the development of CVD-grown magnetic 2D materials are proposed. | Huaning Jiang Peng Zhang Xingguo Wang Yongji Gong | 2021 | Nano Research2021,14,6: | 2 |
| 19 | Reinforcement Learning Transfer Based on Subgoal Discovery and Subtask Similarity显示文摘This paper studies the problem of transfer learning in the context of reinforcement learning.We propose a novel transfer learning method that can speed up reinforcement learning with the aid of previously learnt tasks.Before performing extensive learning episodes,our method attempts to analyze the learning task via some exploration in the environment,and then attempts to reuse previous learning experience whenever it is possible and appropriate.In particular,our proposed method consists of four stages:1) subgoal discovery,2) option construction,3) similarity searching,and 4) option reusing.Especially,in order to fulfill the task of identifying similar options,we propose a novel similarity measure between options,which is built upon the intuition that similar options have similar stateaction probabilities.We examine our algorithm using extensive experiments,comparing it with existing methods.The results show that our method outperforms conventional non-transfer reinforcement learning algorithms,as well as existing transfer learning methods,by a wide margin. | Hao Wang Shunguo Fan Jinhua Song Yang Gao Xingguo Chen | 2014 | IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica2014,1,3: | 2 |
| 20 | Development of a CLDN18.2-targeting immuno-PET probe for non-invasive imaging in gastrointestinal tumors显示文摘Claudin18.2(CLDN18.2)is a tight junction protein that is overexpressed in a variety of solid tumors such as gastrointestinal cancer and oesophageal cancer.It has been identified as a promising target and a potential biomarker to diagnose tumor,evaluate efficacy,and determine patient prognosis.TST001 is a recombinant humanized CLDN18.2 antibody that selectively binds to the extracellular loop of human Claudin18.2.In this study,we constructed a solid target radionuclide zirconium-^(89)(^(89)Zr)labled-TST001 to detect the expression of in the human stomach cancer BGC823CLDN18.2 cell lines.The[^(89)Zr]Zr-desferrioxamine(DFO)-TST001 showed high radiochemical purity(RCP,>99%)and specific activity(24.15±1.34 GBq/mmol),and was stable in 5%human serum albumin,and phosphate buffer saline(>85%RCP at 96 h).The EC_(50) values of TST001 and DFO-TST001 were as high as 0.413±0.055 and 0.361±0.058 nM(P>0.05),respectively.The radiotracer had a significantly higher average standard uptake values in CLDN18.2-positive tumors than in CLDN18.2-negative tumors(1.11±0.02 vs.0.49±0.03,P=0.0016)2 days post injection(p.i.).BGC823CLDN18.2 mice models showed high tumor/muscle ratios 96 h p.i.with[^(89)Zr]Zr-DFO-TST001 was much higher than those of the other imaging groups.Immunohistochemistry results showed that BGC823CLDN18.2 tumors were highly positive(+++)for CLDN18.2,while those in the BGC823 group did not express CLDN18.2().The results of ex vivo biodistribution studies showed that there was a higher distribution in the BGC823CLDN18.2 tumor bearing mice(2.05±0.16%ID/g)than BGC823 mice(0.69±0.02%ID/g)and blocking group(0.72±0.02%ID/g).A dosimetry estimation study showed that the effective dose of[^(89)Zr]Zr-DFO-TST001 was 0.0705 mSv/MBq,which is within the range of acceptable doses for nuclear medicine research.Taken together,these results suggest that Good Manufacturing Practices produced by this immuno-positron emission tomography probe can detect CLDN18.2-overexpressing tumors. | Yan Chen Xingguo Hou Dapeng Li Jin Ding Jiayue Liu Zilei Wang Fei Teng Hongjun Li Fan Zhang Yi Gu Steven Yu Xueming Qian Zhi Yang Hua Zhu | 2023 | Journal of Pharmaceutical Analysis2023,13,4: | 2 |
